Revol Wireless This product is useless.

Giving any money to this company is basically a more frustrating way of flushing money down the toilet. They advertise themselves as a cheaper option than other carriers--and it's technically true--but what they neglect to mention is that their product is much cheaper than other companies because it barely works. The reception is absolutely god awful; even when you're in a density populated urban or suburban area, don't expect to get reliable service anywhere, at any time, because chances are you won't unless you're outside, away from any buildings or tall trees. My phone frequently receives text messages hours, or even days (I swear I'm not exaggerating) after they're sent, even in areas where my phone claims to have service. Often times when I'm being called, my phone will not ring, despite the fact that the caller hears ringing on their end, and when this happens, more often than not my phone will not notify me in any way that I've been called. It's led to quite a few misunderstandings, and whenever I give someone my phone number, I must immediately make clear to them that my phone service is almost never reliable, and they'll just have to put it up with if they're trying to reach me.

Bottom line: Revol is cheap, but that's only because their phones barely work. Reception will be unreliable 99% of the time. If you use Revol, always expect to be unreachable by phone, because you're almost always be right.

Revol Wireless Warranty does not exist

I have been with revol FOREVER way back to northcoast. any way. I have insurance on my phone cause I know accidents happen every now and then. well I brought the new Galaxy S phone about 2 weeks ago yes $300. while i was on my phone the screen just went black. I took the battery out tried pulling in up everything nothing worked. the phone still ringed and i can hear messages coming in but could not see anything or press any thing the screen was completely black. I took the phone into the corporate offices buckeye and Carnegie. which they both informed me they could not do nothing to help me because my phone was physically damaged which voids any warranty that the phone is under. so I'm looking at them like WHAT I did nothing to the phone it just went black they informed me to file and insurance claI'm and pay ANOTHER $125. to get a new phone instead of covering the phone under warranty like they should have and gave me another phone. I am beyond upset. this is a rip off. the warranty they claI'm they have does not exist its all lies. I cant believe the treatment i am receiving. I called the call center and they was worst then the people in the store I don't even know why they even have jobs. I spoke with a supervisor by the name of Dionna who was very rude and disrespectful and could not help me at all and refused to direct me in the direction of someone who could. she would not give me her manager number would not forward me to her voice mail would not even give me her name. do not i repeat do not do business with the company and if you do do not expect good customer service or good quality phones cause you will be very disappointed no matter how new or how much you pay for the phone they all suck. service is bad all my calls drop every tI'me I'm on a call and all my texts come in late smh this company should not even be in business any more.

Revol Wireless Cell Phone Service Horrible-SCAM

I purchased two phones b/c I thought the $74 for unlimited phone/text was a good deal. I live on the Southside of Indianapolis in New Whiteland, IN so I thought the service would be good. The coverage map showed all green around my area. I bought the phones and within two miles from the store, I couldn't make a call, lost signal three times and all static on the lines. I turned around and went back to the store and told them the phones weren't working very good. They made a call to the phones in which the phones worked there, so they said the phones were o.k. I said I can't go a mile without them working. They said sorry what do you want them to do. I finally said just give me my money back. They kept like $60 from me for restocking fees. I hope someone else doesn't get that phone, b/c they are going to have the same problem, plus $60, I didn't have the phone for 15 minutes. Worst Company I have ever dealt with. I called the attorney general and complained. Also, turned them into Better Business Bureau, which they are not affiliated with BBB. I also made flyers and passed out like 200 over the weekend near the Revol Wireless Branch on Stop 18 and Madison letting people know how Revol Wireless likes to SCAM People out of money. Stay Away from Revol Wireless...

my name is Andre Moore #[protected] and i just paid my bill October 30th and my phone will not allow me to dial out or recieve calls in why is this, when ive a customer since 2011 i need my service fixed or my money back

Revol Wireless Nationwide coverage is false

This is not to report a horrible customer service with Revol, if you have not figured that out already you soon will. You basically get what you paid for so do not expect too much in terms of customer service. However Revol wireless advertises as "you can travel nationwide and still receive calls" which is not true. I have traveled to NYC & Chicago and my phone kept showing "searching signal" message all times. Calls directly go to your invoice message. Be aware if you are traveling outside your local area and still expect to receive calls. Canceling the service also turns out to be painful, I was transferred to the "cancellation department" and had to wait half an our for someone to finally answer. I am not sure what their promise on cancellation but they do ask questions, that it is, it is not a "no questions asked policy". I guess, most service- businesses make cancellations hard on customers these days anyway.

Hell, lately I haven't been happy with revol. Just because I have insurance on my phone and also that my phone is now acting up. And I thought that when you pay for insurance on your phone that it should cover you for an replacement phone without having to pay anything out of your pocket. So therefore, I feel that this service with revol is an fraud..

For those who loves revol, I highly apologize and that this services isn't for everybody..

I just updated my plan to their new free roaming plan and my phone is working fine. I went to Milwaukee this past weekend and I was able to use my phone and send texts w/out a problem. They have a cool new coverage map tool on their website which shows where u have service.

Revol Wireless Overcharged

I seen the ad on television for revol wireless. ad states $30.00 of a new phone. first month of service free. well the phones are over priced by about $50.00 each. and the only way to get your first month free is to buy a new phone from them. what a bunch of liars. there should be a law against advertising lies like this.

Then on top of all those charges and lies. they charge you another $35.00 to activate the overpriced phone. plain and simple. they are liars and cheats. another company out to get the poor working man. in times like these. you would think the companies would have a little passion. but not them. just like all the other ripoffs. just out for the money. and lies make me sick.

Revol Wireless miss leading to make a sale

Called a Revol Wireless local company to find out about thier plans and services particularly about the ptt ( push to talk ) service was told they have that service on the phone I was being told about.. Went to the store purchased two phones and paid the activation fee only to get the phones home to find out they had given me a T mobile customers cell phone number... Called customer service they issued a new number.. then started working on putting the information onto the new phones.. Went to do the ptt couldnt get it to work... called the store back again to get assistance... Store manager who sold the phone s tried to help didnt work so she called another store just to find out thier phones did not carry the ability for ptt usage...I returned thier phones within 3 hours of purchase cause they did not do what I specifically asked that they do which was have ptt service...They would not give me a full refund... Now i'm out 65 dollars for a store manager not knowing what the company she works for services are... Dont bother calling customer care... its more like customer rip off... for thier mistake it cost me... I now know why they dont have credit check nor need a contract... they make thier money riping people off for not knowing what thier company doesnt carry on thier phones... Or atleast the phone they sold me... Beware of revol wireless and store managers who dont know what each phones capabiltys are

Revol Wireless Customer Service

You get what you pay for, with Revol that equates to cheap phone service and horrible customer care relations. How are they still in business? They prey on the needs of those who can't afford mobile phone service with the larger carriers.

What happened? I called their customer service line in September because I broke my phone; I was told that I didn't have insurance. I called again to inquire about a text I got from them offering 2 phone lines for $74; I was told I already had that plan, and no insurance. I just called again tonight, and guess what; I have been paying for insurance. I asked to have it removed and credited back to September, the "supervisor, " Tia, said "NO, I'm not going to credit anything'" without even pretending to take a moment to consider it.

If i wasn't upset when I called, her attitude and treatment enraged me. Enough that I am going to take the time to post this on every complaint board/blog I can find.

The really don't care about their customers, the lie, cheat, and steal from us. There's nothing we can do because we need them. Unfortunately, Revol doesn't have the foresight to see that another company similar to theirs may come along and steal their customers away... it may have already started...

Revol Wireless has been great. My Motorola Milestone has worked well and the service is as good as if not better than the other wireless companies. I bought it online and had it delivered in a few days.

I bought a phone from Boost Mobile on Jan 16th because Revol was closing. I was told that the number would be ported over by Monday the 20th, Today it is the 23rd and the number still has not been ported over. WHO is perpetuating FRAUD HERE? Boost Mobile TOOK my $$$ for the phone and I am suppose to have service, Revol claimed "I was a valued customer" BUT HAS NOT PORTED my number over?

No need for revol customers to panic. Miami based Sprint Network MVNO will take their Sprint phones and sign up to BYOSD plans. $20, $30, $40, $50, $60 unlimited. Call [protected]

My experience with Revol was horrible. I visited the Scatterfield store to inquire about Revol phone service. I was told that I could purchase a Revol phone or buy a used Sprint phone that was available behind the counter. After purchasing the used Sprint phone from the two representatives on duty, I soon discovered that it was a damaged phone with a damaged battery. When I called the store a few days after purchasing the phone, I was told by a third representative that the phone I had was a stolen phone and shouldn't have been sold to me. I immediately filed a police report in Anderson. The manager on duty agreed to give me an Android phone (free of charge). Revol Wireless is a joke!

I am a new revol wireless customer. I signed up with this company because of it's '' Great Advertizments''. Yeah, right it takes 30 minutes to a hour to get through to them if you have a question. I sighned up for auto bill pay and for it to come out on the 1st of every month, well they tried to deduct the money a day before my check was in my account which cost me debit fees. Their recepition is not good at all. I can't use my phone in the house unless I am standing in one spot and then it 99% of the time loses service . This is very annoying when I have a important call.

absolutely the worst customer service i've ever experienced. their employees are trained in one thing: upselling. you can say you get what you pay for but 42 dollars a month isn't really even worth getting treated like ### by EVERY CUST SERV REP i've experienced. I called their telephone bill payment service, which is easily the slowest automated system on the planet, which by the end of the 15 minute call, didn't even accept my credit card. So I called their customer service hotline today. kept me on hold for 30 minutes, and after listening to the automated voice tell me she was sorry about my wait and assuring me i'd be given to the next available rep...click. They hung up on me. And all i'm trying to do is give them money for my bill. so I call my local store...surely they can help. I can literally transcribe the convo for you

Me: Hi, you're bill payment service over the telephone didn't take my credit card or debit card. Is there anyway I can just pay my bill through you.

Rep: No that's the only way to do it. Unless you come in and if your card didn't work then it probably won't work here.

Me: Ok...but I just payed several online bills with my credit card and I'm staring at my balance right now which is more than enough to cover my bill.

Rep: You can come in to pay it.

Me: Alright.

Rep: click* (note the lack of thank you or offer of any additional help.

They hire possibly the worst candidates in their stores and since a lot of revol users are mexicans and other international callers (cause it's cheap and doesn't require a contract) they all treat you like you can't speak english.

I had a bad feeling immediately upon buying my phone. "Are you sure you don't want the biggest, best, most expensive, but also most unreliable model for the highest retail price? Really? You're sure? And don't forget your car charger, extra battery, bluetooth headset, and carrying case!" And they aren't even good salesmen. They might as well sigh and roll their eyes when you walk in the door. Honestly I thought I'd go here to save a few bucks a month on an outrageous ATT bill and this is truly the bottom rung of society as far as service provided, customer care, and customer base. Go with boost mobile if youre trying to save a buck.

Oh and if you're wondering about service quality. Don't. My friends don't even get half my text messages and if you miss your payment deadline...no grace period. Phone is shut off immediately. You can only call their telephone payment service (which doesn't work and is apparently "the only way you can pay") No they don't offer online payments. Crap company, horrible business model, and even worst employees. Now I understand why i was paying the extra 40 a month for ATT. Cause they are a real service provider. Go to hell revol.

I disagree. My wife daughter and I have had Revol for 4 years. The quality is great for the price. You still get unlimited talk and text for 30 bucks a line. Unbeatable! The customer service is in India but have had no problems.

I agree with your comment completely. For those of the opinion that all Revol customers are "urban" or poor you are not worth responding to and karma is a ###. Remember that when your supervisor hands you a pink slip. As for the service, yes it sucks. I have returned to the corporate store 4 times now with the same problems. Half my calls do not come in, I receive texts hours or a day later. Constantly show missed calls when the phone never rang. I am going back one more time today and either getting a replacement phone or...While I am sure all wireless companies have their faults, straight out lying to my face is @#$*&!. They keep telling me its a program error and screwing with the phone when they know it is the damn phone, but since its under warranty until October I feel like they are trying to screw me around till the warranty expires. My son has Straight Talk better coverage and less B.S. As for getting what you pay for...Lets say this. I just visited an Arby's where they treated you like you were in a nice restaurant, guess what, they were packed! A little quality service can make a huge quantity of business. Revol will get their ### kicked by someone who knows that !

My girlfriend has Revol.She has had nothing but problems with her phones, they know the phone is messed up and they said they dont carry them anymore.The guy at the store told her he would give her a new and better phone if she would go out with him, she told him that her boyfriend wouldnt like that and he said Oh he won't mind.She said yes he will.After she refused to go out with him, he would not give her a new phone.I guess in order to get what you pay for and a phone that works, you have to go out and have sex with the employees.Next month Im switching her over to my verizon account.We will never deal with Revol again.

Revol don't care how long you've been their customer. They don't help unless you pay them. I had Revol 4 years till now. Last month I started to have big problems, almost lost my job because of them. Did they care? NO! See I used my phone for work and personal. All my work numbers was given out to a teenage boy who thought it would be funny to get ignorant with everyone who called me. All my calls to my phone went to this kid, and all my text messages too. Only his text messages would come to my phone. I couldn't even dial out. When I got hold of customer service ( phone kept dropping my call) the lady acted like I was bothering her. Then she told me I would have to get a new phone cause the boys phone was new he got it the day before. After all this my new ( refurbished ) phone don't work. I'm done dealing with them.
