Resolutions Center / lack of refund

By what was advertised I thought it was a no losoe scenario. Either they could help me or I would get my money back. They were not able to help. I was told that it would take 30 days to credit money. Due to various life items I was unable to follow up in a timely manner. When I finally went to follow up I was tald the company was no longer around. Yet the people I talked with had all the information about my case. I was told that credit card company would have to get my money back. Unfortunately I passed a magical date that does not allow them to do anything. Person has basically 120 days to dispute charge. Everyone I talk to at company fends off all information or possibility of resolution, pun intended. Have contacted Attorney General in hopes that something may be resolved.

    I had called the company shortly after supposedly accepting their services to lower my credit card interest rates to request that they not proceed with the process, only to find out that the charge had already been put on my credit card. I had
    not even filled out any of the paperwork, and had told them that it was well within the 7 days to refuse the service. They claimed that they had sent out the paperwork already and that it was now over the period to cancel. I did have to 'sign' for the
    paperwork at the post office & had proof of when I picked it up, but that was not good enough. I proceeded to go through the steps with them for negotiations, in order for me to get anywhere with the refund process. It had now been nearly 3 months since I should've received the credit. I called today to find out what the problem was, only to find that the phone number that I had was no longer in service. Thanks to the last complaint, I was able to call the correct phone number. They are now telling me that the processing center that they use for refunds is no longer is business and they were unable to process my refund. I asked why I was not contacted, only to be told that they were really sorry! I now am supposed to contact my credit card company to file a dispute. Who knows how long this will take? I think the whole thing is a big scam, seem suspicious that they don't even have to follow-up on any of these charges that were not refunded!
