Rent-A-Center poor customer service

Very rude people working the service was very poor i walk in the store there just sitting there and i got a stero system there they had to pick up from another store i waited almost 2 weeks to get it when it was sitting there and they were supposed to order a. Remote and atanna and nothing. And i got sick and called them and told that ill be in to pay it off and they came in my moms house. With out permission from a adult. They were under age kids. I never had promblems intill now i got and payed my tv off with u guys. And look

Rent-A-Center patio furniture

They told me that my patio furniture would take 10 working days for delivery. I really stressed that I needed it by Friday night or least 1st thing Saturday please. I had to call and follow up several times after they said that they would check on it and would try and push to have it there no later than Saturday morning. Then Manager Luie I tried to explained that all I did was ask to be the 1st delivery sense they said they would put a rush on it. The Rep in a nasty tone said "we don't have to deliver it at all". I have been a valued customer at two locations and has paid off a great deal of merchandise over the years. So I promptly cancelled all my accounts with this company. I will never ever use Renter Center again. Very said to say that cause it was easy and convenient. I also would not recommend this branch unless they get rid of the rude Rep.

Rent-A-Center management and payment

I have a long standing relationship and loyalty with rent a center I refer tenants who rent from me to the company when they're in need of home furnishings. I have never had any issues until recently when stor emanagement changed. The new manager is rude and apparently not competent enoug to perform his job successfully. As you will see by my account I have never had any issues until this change. I have been set up for aoutmatic online bill pay for sometime. The new manager set up my account changed credit card information for one particular item without my consent and it has been nothing but a head ache since. This manager states that the card payment is declined on multiple ones and then charged payment to get caught up and then without even telling me changed the cycle date for when my drafts would come out which I was not informed and a large payment was drafted from my account 2 days after the catch up payment that was only behind. My account has had sufficient funds at all times for my payments. I keep finding missed contact door hangers on my door I refuse to attempt to communicate with this manager any further. I have already sent back items because of his in ability to communicate properly and provide quality service to loyal customers. I kept my fridge which I have had for over a year now and it is close to being paid off. I have contacted corporate a few ones who transfers me somewhere and no one answers or there is a long hold time. I would like someone to contact me warding these matters asap. So I can get things straight with someone who appreciates loyal customers referrals and who knows what they are doing. I would hate to have lost all the money I have spent with the company for my Fridge because one person can not seem to do his job properly

Rent-A-Center bed / try give back

Yea hello my name is erica burgin i rented a love seat a sofa an bed from rent a center on 63rd in shawnee mission ks last month in May i tried to give the bed back cause i can't afford both payments so the man said he'll just let me keep it that month with no pay so june i called to pay my bill once again i only want to pay my sofa an love seat the lady told me no i have to pay both i feel like im being forced into paying for something i cant afford they can come get this bed so i payed a payment of 140 which should cover my couch so now on the 1st i owe 80 which i don't have can somebody get back to me [protected]

Rent-A-Center employees

The oneonta ny store has the worst employees. They don't know how to treat customers. Henry my account manager is so rude he calls if I am a day late and I tell him I will be in the next day . But he keeps pushing and pushing to get the money that day. I told him I going to pay it off when I come and he keeps up with the same information. He should not be a maneger. Further more I spoke to his maneger and asked him to not have Henry contact me and he tells me to bad. I spend a lot of money in there and I am told to bad. Wtf the store needs new manegment .

Rent-A-Center manager at martinsburg wv

6/10/17 manager called and asked about our payment we informed her that the full payment would be made on tuesday 6/13/17. After almost 3 years of loyal service and on time payments! We were told that that wasn't acceptible...? Now grant you we have bought and paid for at least 5 telephones, 4 televisions, washer and dryer, numerous tablets, kept up with service plans for said telephones. Never ever been more than 3 days late on maybe 3 payments! Our payments were supposed to be due on tuesdays anyway but she informs us that it was changed to saturdays for some reason? And also proceeds to tell my wife that my name was never on the account to begin with and that she has been there for 5 years but yet we have never seen or heard about her or her name ever the entire time we have been customers! She then proceeds to say that my name has never been on the account and she doesn't need to talk to me! My name has been on the account since day one! If it wasnt then how were they able to accept payments from my credit card and how is my name on the certificates of ownership? I just think it is absolutely rediculous for a manager to disrespect loyal customers like us over 3 days after 3 years of loyal service and payments! Plus we brought in other customers! I am very pissed off and will definitely not be buying anything else ever again from your company! You just lost a very good customer!

Rent-A-Center harassment

The employees of the 7010 W 48th St Fremont MI 49412 location have been harassing my emergency contact listed as well as my references. Leaking information to them about my agreement and account standings, which is NOT legal! I will no longer continue as a customer with this company if they place another phone call to anyone but myself or send letters to OLD addresses.

Rent-A-Center cell phone

Yes, my name is Sarena Giles. I am renting a cell phone through the company in Georgetown. This young man that you all have in there is a little hard to deal with. At first when i got this cell phone I had a little problem with it. So I took it back and the young lady Aaron got everything straight with me. And she reduce the amount of the phone. And also set me up on paying every 2 weeks. At first i called and ask i guess he is the manager if i could make my payment Saturday because i had to go to the beach to pick up my check. He told me no, I had to make it that friday. Well i never made it to the beach and Saturday i didn't get to go then, because ended up at the hospital. My brother Stephon spoke to him when he called. My brother relayed the message to me Sunday when he seen me to give me my phone back. I am the only person on my contract and he was discussing all of my business with him about my account and telling him. That is was going to lock down my phone no matter where i was. I am confused to why he would be telling someone else about my account and my brother is not on there. Could i be able to make a payment or what do i need to do. It is hard to talk to him, because he haves such a harsh attitude. Like when i even told him the time i didn't have any money that week. I think it was him that made the statement, that i spent it on bike week. That was wrong for them to say and they didn't know what they were talking about. I ended up going to work that weekend to make some money to be able to pay you all. So it was work related and not pleasure. Please let me know what do i need to do . Could i pay on it, or do i need to take the phone back. Because i really love my phone, but hard to deal with him in the way he is doing. Thank you

Rent-A-Center service

I got a refrigerator from the Brownsville store. The guy delivers dropped it on the ground. Then less than two months of having it. It goes out on a Saturday. I spent $130 on food. They have had it for about three weeks now and they have not called us about the fridge. I'm really mad I'm out of $130 of food. Never will recommend this company. Never do business with them again

Rent-A-Center my problem is with the lack of professionalism, the returning of phone calls especially since the damage to my laundry room floor on may 25th 2017

on 3/28/17 I signed a rental agreement for a washer/ dryer, a living room set with end tables and coffe table .
on 4/18/17 the washing machine was picked up from my house for repairs and to go get parts that were missing. I received a loaner on that day[ an agitator style machine ]not nearly compatable to washer I was renting.
after weeks of me calling store and not getting return calls to the where abouts of washer, I had to call back, also would ask on payment dates .
the company "was waiting for parts ".
fed up with the delay in the return of my washer I agreed to replace washer and dryer with a set in store . was looking for new but they had none.
on 5/25/17 the new appliances arrived
in removing the dryer the guys tore and marred the brand new flooring.
I saw the tare and marks when sweeping room after drivers left.
I imediatelly called store.
they said they would have a meeting with drivers and boss and call me the next day. I never received a call I finnaly called on Tuesday the 30th
was put on hold many times as my issue was being discussed then.
the drivers saying they didn't do it.
I protest telling her exactly when it probabally happened .
she in return says her boss will contact me and come look at damages.
I agree
that was tuesdaythe 30th of may it is now june 4th and have received no contact,
the room is 6'x10'
the new linoleum, glue and labor came to $340.00
i would like the $340 reimbursed so floor can be re done
i am seriously thinking of returning all items from this store and going someplace else

Rent-A-Center an unprofessional superviser named roseline bailey

The big bosses of this company should pay close attention to the people working for them or they will lose money... I have seen how other companies and bosses treat their customers and employees with respect and also they are professionals... Roseline bailey (Store on 1368 forest avenue) obviously do not know how to treat employees in the work place... Targeting, abusing verbally, profiling, bullying, cussing, humiliating employees, including my husband who is working there and there is nobody to report the ratchesness of this person to. How this is even possible, do we have to call better get baquero or eyes witness news for this store or rent-a-center just to prove how intoxicating it is to work in a place like that. The level of stress my husband have just getting up in the morning knowing that he is going to that store and get harassed by roseline bailey aka ugly despicabe me [censor] [censor] is ridiculous... This is the reason why that store is so low on staff cauz of that uneducated pig... She is not professional, has no manners, ratchet and is not fit to represent this company

Rent-A-Center I am complaining about, the services damaged merchandise workers and managers

Its too long. I need a phone conversation. I psid for a. Maytag washer & dyer unot. Was promise somethings.. Delivery was horrible.. My stuff got scratched before enterin home.. But thats one problem. Workers screwed up so bad. They had to come out the next morning bc they forgot to put drain hose on. It took him. From 9 am to 1 pm to solve nothing but have eater all over my basrment and rug. Dryer not eking. And they was trting to be sneacky and cover they ### without really trting help and apologize for the inconvenie they causing me up til now.. No calls or merchandise. I have video of everything even the plumber recorded his statement while fixing the leak. I need a resolution eith compensation. Of inconvenience.. Negligence and my time. They are rude and disrespectful. And they keep lying and getting smart. Please help. Or I eill follow through with my lawyer snd channel 29 and 10. Store is 5610 lancaster avenue unit 12 phila. Rent-A-Center rent a center employee on mlk in atl ga

I'm forced to end my 14 year relationship! with Rent-A-Center because of a SUPER RUDE inconsiderate female employee ! Out of all these years I might have been late 3 times in total ! So i can't understand why she call me more than once in one day when im not even late! I have told them several of times how I feel about it !but for some reason she continue to do it! Is so embarrassing bc sometime i listen to my music in my car & my phone say the name & number of the person who calling so I'm getting interrupted and embarrassed at the same time! when I'm not even late ! SMH is no way I can keep paying 3 times the amount 4 something & Let y'all harasse and embarrass me at the same time . Then y'all HAVE the nerve to false advertise on commercials by sayin ! Worry-free! Y'all have worried the ### out of me 4 no reason!

Out of all my years of business that I have had with your company, lately when they changed the management I have been disgusted. Your employees are unethical, rude and the practice is just horrible. They don't understand when something is being asked and continue to harass me over and over the phone after I have spoken with them and they harass my family . I can take my money and my business some where else but I don't because I am almost done paying off what Im renting. I just want to transfer my account to the store on el paseo and never have to deal with Raul Jose or Julio in this store again! Or I will file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau!

Rent-A-Center I am only a reference

I don’t have an account with these people (Rent-A-Center), and I never will due to their unprofessional-ism. They are looking for one of my friends and they are constantly harassing me to get a message to her. I told them I informed her and I have asked them to stop calling me over and over again, I have even asked them to remove my number but they continue to call me from different numbers. I work from 8am-5pm but they continue to call and leave messages. No one leaves their name but I did finally found out the rude mans first name, it is Tom in Tuscaloosa, Alabama Rent-A-Center. I have been nice but I feel that this is a matter that the police need to handle because they are breaking the law.

Rent-A-Center harassment

I have asked them several times to stop calling my phone for their customer. I was told that they were removing my name from the list, yet in still they still call. Today Chris call my phone and left a message. So I call him back, he got mad at me and hung up in my face. I am going to report them to BBB and Federal Trade Commission, for Fair Debt Collection. Rent-A-Center cellphone

A few weeks ago, my husband and I visited our rent a center where we currently pay for a phone. When given the phone, which is a note, we were also given an old scratched up otter box, which ended up falling apart. The plastic screen ripped. At some point the phone ended up with a small crack on the back corner. We never took the case off, unless we were cleaning the phone so we are not sure how it happened or if it was there and got worse. After we noticed it, it made sense that the phone became glitchy. When we went into the store to get it sent off after calling first to make sure we could get the same phone as a loaner, they assured us. So when we got there and she asked some questions, she then went in the back to speak to I guess the manager. Whom never came out to speak to us! So the sales women comes out and says so we are going to give you this phone, I think it was an s5, or 6, it was a lower model than our note I know that, so at the very end she said oh my manager says that you guys had an otter box, so you have to pay for repair. WhAt? Isn't this what we pay so much for? We had a jacked up otter box, that barely stayed together, and we took off to give them the phone . they completely led us wrong on the phone, they said yes they would handle it no charge on us...then hiding in the back the manager decides nah, they can pay. We have been a customer at another local rent to own place, and this is exactly why we always stay there and have not come here. They stalk you if you miss a payment, by an hour, they call you even though you signed up for auto pay, and then they don't help you when your paying weekly for a phone. They should have loaned Us the phone, fixed ours, and that's it. We spend a lot of money, and should not be taken advantage of just because we went this route to get our phone.

Rent-A-Center late payment excessive force and harassment

Iwas in the shower when I heard knocking on the door, so I continued my shower, I then heard someone knocking for literally 5-7 min straight, so I jumped out of the shower quickly and headed for the door and looked out of the peep hole, and seen it was r. A. C., might I add I bought nothing from r. A. C, someone in my household did, I opened the door furious and asked the guy what his problem was, and told him I had a infant sleeping right on the couch. He said" you should of answered the door! I explained im not the one he wants to talk with, and went to shut my door, then the man kicked my door in! He actually kicked my door in! I have neighbor witnesses who saw it and the damage to the door, I stepped out and said I know you did not just kick my door in, he said I need the item back, so I shut the door again after told him I was contacting his boss and he said your a piece of # liar! I have nothing to do with what he was talking about, so I jumped on the phone and contacted his boss, his boss was justifying why it was ok also, ive never been disrespected in my entire life the way they did, its unexusable, theres no way the can use exssesive for to that degree and it be ok, theres got to be criminal charges or lawsuit somewhere there,. I wish someone to contact me asap, and something needs to be done about those employees imedietly! [protected] john mckee

Rent-A-Center customer service

I'm currently a customer with rent-a-center, I was out of town due to two deaths in my family, I was told by my family memeber who was house sitting that the tech/delivery guys were banging on my door and screaming my name for me to open the door... I am appauled and disappointed on how they've conducted thereselves, I am in disbelief that this franchise has a bunch of hooligans and thugs working for them. I do not care if i'm one day late with payment... This behavior is not acceptable and I will write and complain to whom ever I need to in order to get results! This particular store is on 230 bay street, staten island, ny 10304. I would love for someone to contact me via email @ [protected]@yahoo.com in regards to this matter! Harressment is against the law!

Rent-A-Center bedroom set

I was delivered a bedroom set from Rent A Center; in Leesville, LA on 10 February. Upon the almost completion of my bedroom set, I was told that they brought the same side rails for the bed. Me, I'm like okay; can you come back tomorrow and I was given a yes. So, 11 February came and I was given no call nor a show up to finish my set. So, I called and I was told that they didn't have any rails in the store and push come to shove they will go searching for some or go to the local Lowes and get some. Ok! So, Monday came 13 February, still heard nothing and of course nobody cares to call or show up. Now here we are 14 February, I decided to walk in the store and just go a head and tell the manager I no longer want the bed and they can come pick it up. She tried to play as if she didn't know that her delivery drivers didn't tell her about the mix match rails. I'm so tired of that rent a center and after me being a customer since 2011 I will no longer be needing the service of them again. They are horrible and they need more training. #bringbackMelanie
