I ordered a replacement remote control for my daughter's Panasonic tv. The communications by www.remotecontrolsinc.com is awful. After weeks of not receiving the remote, I emailed them repeatedly and also completed the online 'contact us' form. If you call, they never, never answer. The email replies were standard form letters. They offered no attempt to resolve. I finally googled the phone number, researched WHOIS, and found a second phone number at the address. It was the guys father who, after repeated questions, indicated that he had no idea what kind of stuff his some was into. I gave the father my phone number, but no one ever called back. After a few more weeks of trying to connect with someone, I finally received an email indicated that the product was shipped 'weeks ago' but in good faith a "second" product would be sent out. To be fair, a product did arrive about a week later. But, it did not work! I have again tried repeatedly trying to contact them and take advantage of their advertised return offer, but again, they refuse to answer phone, they refuse to answer emails, and they refuse to answer their online contact form. DO NOT ORDER FROM www.remotecontrolsinc.com.

Plain and Simple, this REMOTECONTROLS.COM IS A SCAM, THEY ARE NOT HONEST.

you order one thing, they don't say it's been discontinued, instead, after you pay, they send you something different knowing they didn't have the same exact remote from the start, i think the beginning of this post says it All. as you can see the difference in the pics...and this still don't work, im not crying for a refund, your scam will soon be discovered...

Website advertises original remote controls for different TV. Per their website advertising original remote for a Sony TV model RM-YD073 that looked exactly as the one I originally had with my TV. I ordered based on what was shown on website however, a few weeks later I received a different remote control not looking as advertised on website. After contacting them to made them aware of this issue, they came back stating exactly the following:

"Thank you so much for letting us know this happened. Normally there is
a link to the replacement online and also a notification is sent out
via email and additional paperwork is included in the package
explaining the situation. I am so sorry if this was NOT the case!
The manufacturer has discontinued your original remote and we have
sent you the factory part change. Often times; the manufacturer will
stop making a part due to age, technological changes and demand.
Because of this, your original remote has simply been phased out.
Would you like me to send you a pre-paid return label and issue you a
full refund?"

Notification by e-mail was never sent to me however explanation of being a replacement received with product. Plus they state that the original remote had been phased out.

Based on their explanation above, they are fully aware of the discontinued product yet not stated on your website. They should state very clearly on their website, not after the facts that it is a replacement. False marketing/advertising. WITH ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS, WHY IS A LOCAL AGENCY SHUTTING THEM DOWN ?

I'm having a similar experience. CC charged, Over two months now, no remote. multiple emails back and forth...
WILL keeps saying he's taking care of it but so far no good news like "order shipped" based on the above thread I think
I'm over-due for having the CC reversed. Calling the bank tomorrow.

I had a similar experience with www.remotecontrolsinc.com. Every time I called, the machine said they were moving and the best way to contact them was by using their online comment form. But they never replied. They never attempted to send me the remote control even though they charged my credit card.
