rehabilitation services / consent is NOT Informed consent

1 Blairstown, NJ, United States

This non profit organization under the shield of its humanitarian mission is using the recipients of its charity, (who pay a fee for service consisting of shelter, food and medication management, ) as undisclosed and unaware Human Research Subjects for the pharmaceutical companies that partially fund them. Thus violating the Nuremberg Decree of INFORMED CONSENT.
Because they also receive funds from HHS, their practices are in direct violation of the Belmont Report and the concepts of Respect, justice and Beneficence, that would make it the staff's moral obligation to not only minimize the harm resulting from the drugs they administer, but also try to prevent its administration.
The residents signed 'CONSENT" to the only drug treatment they are not competent to understand and are denied the protection of relatives who could help them make that decision. cThis non profit organization under the shield of its humanitarian mission is using the recipients of its charity, (who pay a fee for service consisting of shelter, food and medication management, ) as undisclosed and unaware Human Research Subjects for the pharmaceutical companies that partially fund them. The residents signed 'CONSENT" to the (only) drug treatment is never INFORMED consent because they are not competent to understand, nor are they told about the side effects in a way they could master the danger that they are in. It is not informed consent also because they are denied the protection of relatives who could help them make that decision.
