Reg.net DRI charge / Salesboom.com review: unauthorized charge to credit card 7

This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

Salesboom.com inappropriately charged me $681 for an annual renewal fee on their software product, even though I cancelled this service in 2007.

The charge came through on my credit card as coming from DRI reg.net MN. I contacted their customer service department at [protected], and learned that they're a 3rd-party billing company for Salesboom.com (and other software companies). The customer service rep was friendly and helpful, however, so perhaps this will get sorted out.

Ofcourse I have been with my current employer for 4 months only, and at the beginning I said why are you using Salesboom as they have bad service, and they looked at me as if I was crazy. I learned from this site that Salesboom.com has negative comments and reviews, but my little experience with them over the past 4 months says otherwise.

It has been 7 years now since we have been using Salesboom.com, and I would totally have to disagree about the negative comments above. I am not accusing people of lieng, but why would they have a bad experience while our company had positive one? It is mentioned in their policy that automatic renewal happens if you do not send a written cancellation by registered mail.

I am volunteering to write this comment and I will make my email address available if someone wants to chat about how good of an experience I had with them. greenberg67@gmail.com.

Venessa LAng sounds like an ex employee of SAlesboom?
Some information she mentioned woulod only be known by an ex employee! I dont know much about SAlesboom as I never been a customer, but coments by people like venessa make me believe she is an ex employee or a competitor! Maybe it's SAlesforce.com doing this? Who knows...

When speaking with Salesboom Inc have you ever spoke with Jim Faker? Oops I mean Jim Baker? If so you are speaking with the scam master himself - Salesboom CEO - Troy Muise. And if that isn't enough, you have probably been double billed on your credit card or charged for another years subscription even after cancelling or finding out that they sold you a service that doesn't exist, by Chris Verdin who in fact is Troy Muise's mother Sharon MacDonald. And then of course there is the sales scam master Rana Rahim - otherwise known as Anna and a bunch of other fake names.

Are you suprised? I bet not.

For all of you out there that have been scammed by this company you are not alone. Not alone at all. Not only did Troy Muise scam you out of your dollars but he also scams all of his employees out of their wages.

If you were to contact Salesboom Inc today you would be told that they have offices in Halifax, San Francisco and Egypt. Ha hahahahahah! FYI the Salesboom servers are in Troy Muises personal home just outside of Halifax NS. He has no office in the states but he sure did go and open a bank account with Silicon Valley Bank and will get you to send your payment there. Why you ask, would a small Nova Scotia business do this? Well to avoid paying taxes and judgements that have been brought against the company by former customers, employees and Revenue Canada!

So BEWARE and spread the word. Do not get sucked in by this guy. He is a one man show with his mother by his side scamming your credit card. There are not other sales reps, no big customer service or tech support team. NOTHING!

Our firm recently received its first collection notice from a firm hired by Salesboom claiming that we owed money on a broken contract. A contract broken by Salesboom for non-delivery of services advertised.

BUYER BEWARE! We should have done more research.

We paid for 6 months of service that never met the standard that they advertised. According to this webpage http://www.salesboom.com/support/crm_service_level_agreement.html they state “Salesboom has a system uptime guarantee of 99.8%.”

This is not true and we have logs to prove it. We lost dozens of hours worth of data entry time due to their service constantly going down. They promised over and over that scheduled maintenance would remedy the issues. The problems were never resolved.

Here is the main issue specifically... you can take the 30 days free and see for yourself. While you are on a call, you will be entering very important notes. When you go to save, you will be kicked out to the log in screen and all of your data will be lost. Then you will not be able to log back in for "who knows how long", sometimes seconds but sometimes not for hours. So now your sales staff sits around wasting company money waiting for Salesboom to come back to life. I can not adequately express my anger and frustration with this service.

DO NOT GIVE THEM A CREDIT CARD NUMBER OR ANY POST DATED CHECKS. If they believed in their own service and knew that customers would be satisfied they would not engage in such practices.

I signed up with salesboom last year. It was so full of errors and problems I was never able to utilize it. I have never had a satisfactory resolution to any of the problems.

I just started receiving nasty emails saying I have to pay $1200 to renew. Renew?

It never worked. They are the worse company I have ever dealt with. I spent hours on the phone getting the run around...they always say their service department is giving the problem priority...of course even if one problem is fixed, a new one pops up.
