Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management Hair cut and color

I took my 2 daughters (15, 10) to the pearl ridge location
The staff was very nice but
In the end our hair wasn't anything like we asked for
I needed a complete color and cut my hair was waist length
Wanted it mid back
Ended up shoulder length and color is lighter on top darker on bottom
My 15 year old wanted biolage but stylist said no so she went with a full highlight
Her hair was to her butt and asked for a trim
And ended up with it to her arm pit
She cried all night cause it took her years to grow it out. She said she even told him it was to short and he cut off like 4 more inches.
I spend over $600
I would like a refund our hair is to short to be fixed and I don't want to return to this salon.

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management hair color, blowout

Regis Salons does not hold their stylists accountable for their actions. They allow their stylists to pocket cash and bad mouth unhappy clients. Apparently they also caused Chemical burns to one customer who had to be taken to the Emergency room via ambulance because of the same stylist who RUINED my hair way over processed this girls hair. Contacted their customer support on Dec 19, I was supposed to receive a call back... nothing...

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management work environment

Worked here almost three weeks management sucked and changing the drawer from $200 short to saying she done a paid in and forgot second night 10.58 short corrected computer again and next night asked a stylist closing with me to check and if it's short at close to correct it told SDL nothing was done! If I could do submit pictures I would stylist asleep in a chair over an hour! I used to manage before all this is theft! Sorry manager and SDL not doing a good job

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management medical leave, employment

I was employed by the Beautiful Group, Regis for over a year. Last year, I found out I had breast cancer and I had to take a non paid medical leave to have a double mastectomy. I went back to work for 6 months and after that I was scheduled to take another medical leave for reconstruction. I went through the necessary channels and submitted the necessary paperwork with the exact dates and the doctor's letter signed. It was denied. This was a non paid medical leave due to my part time employment.
I received a letter back from them, stating something to the effect of needing exact date and more appropriate time. As I said above I sent them a letter that was signed by professional stating the exact dates and the time frame.

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management employee

I have been a employee for almost a year. I was recruited by Regis when attending cosmetology school. It was a honor to be approached an offer a position to begin a career. Regis have always been known for there exceptional service with available products to support the client and the ultimate goal. The charges for the services to overcome other salons yet we are not able to provide or supply the complete service we stand for. Its becoming embarrassing to have to tell customers we have no products to supply them with. The back-bar products are limited to the point there is none to use. I am reaching out because I believe in the Regis name and have since I was young. I believe in what the name is to stand for and asking for assistance to be able to complete our jobs and give the service conclusion. We are a strong salon with amazing talent. Please allow us to grow to become the salon we are meant to be.

I agree with you 100% only thing i can think of which im sure i. Io% right is tbay the beautodul group is going to ckise the regis salons and thats why we havnt tecieved anot only retail product in a year hut also we have now stopped rexiegeing our orders for color and supply this is horrible this is our busiest time of the where qe have the chance to triple in services and retail and they dont wven car to give us an explantion as to what is happening

I'm a former employee I was basically forced to quit because of my district and regional manager. Six months ago I was planning to work the rest of my career at the Regis Salon here in LaCrosse Wisconsin. They were no longer stacking retail for 3 months and then calling and complaining to me the manager that are Combos and our sales were going down talking down to us because we couldn't sell products we didn't have. Then we stopped getting back bar supplies and I was having to personally figure out our budget go to the store pick up these items paid for out of our till all on my own time without pay. When trying to address my issues with our district manager Jill Quinn who I've learned quit since then she would just dismiss it and dismiss me finally I put in my two weeks notice because it was embarrassing to work for a salon that's empty and feels like it's failing. She called me an idiot and several more derogative names because I didn't want to work there. My children receive insurance through the county and once I quit I needed forms proving I no longer work there I had to go through several different people to get my regional manager Geri Lynn Thomas contact information and even then she refused to talk to me because not being an employee I was not her problem. I got some of the forms I needed and then she blocked all forms of communication. I went to the clinic yesterday and found out that my insurance is no longer active when I called the county to find out why they sent Geri Lynn phone calls emails several messages that she just ignored I lost my insurance my children are no longer insured because of Geri Lynn.

Over a month ago I requested from my manager the district leaders phone number, since she is not willing to help, after two weeks of asking Shannon Crawford for his information also wondering why cant i log in on the company website and express my concerns. Well Shannon finally gave me the number and he after almost 2 weeks hasnt even responded I cannot keep working every Sunday and Monday alone at least the manager can rotate with me this is not fair since the salon started opening SUN and MON its only The manager will not rotate this is not going to continue I close 3 days in a row noone else at this point i have tried to reach out since no one is able to help i will take the next step to file a complaint with the state of Texas department of equal employment.

Thank you for reaching out to me. Sorry I have taken so long to get back to you. I was pondering weather or not to call you back and speak with you directly. I want to talk to you about my visit to the salon. After speaking with my mother and a few close friends, I have had time to reflect on all that had unfolded and what happened. I truly feel compelled to send you an email. I feel by writing it down it will be easier to follow.

On April 19th 2019
I entered your salon Regis located in the Coastland Center Mall in Naples, Florida looking to schedule a future appointment with my newly found, and loved stylist Melissa. As I waited to be greeted at the desk by the staff, ( I now know as the salon manager) A staff member kindly approached and greeted me. I wanted to book an appointment for the future with Melissa but before the 27th of April. I explained that I have a big party on the weekend and I need my hair cut. Brittany was near the desk, she was finishing up with a client and called out to let the manager know that she had a 3 hour appointment cancel and she could take me right away. Once again I asked for Melissa but she was booked for the whole day. Brittany had cut my hair once in the past so I agreed to have my hair cut by Brittany. Brittany did a short but good consult. I'm very easy with hair length because I wear clip in extensions when I need length. I asked her to cut off whatever needed to be removed so my hair looks and feels healthy. Also I asked if she could put in some long layers. At this point my friend who was with me came back from the bathrooms. Brittany had kindly invited my friend that came with me to sit in a stylist chair next to me.

While I was in her chair I was telling her about my moms surprise 55th birthday party coming up on the 27th! I spent a lot of money and time planning it. It happened to be a high tea with a dress code. My mother really liked British culture. I really wanted to get my hair "ombré" but I didn't have time. I told Brittany; I went to a famous salon Chole's Beauty Bar in The UK and they did this amazing style of balayage / ombre where she painted on lightener to my hair in triangular sections. Creating depth and dimension throughout the hair. Brittany stopped prepping my hair and said she could do that. I told her are you sure? Let me show you the photo because I am not good with hair related words. I wanted to make sure you can do the exact same thing. Because again I said I'm not great with words let me show you photos of my hair. I showed her a few photos of my hair after. I attached the photos below and asked her directly; "Can you do this?" Those were my exact words. Meanwhile one of my best-friends was sitting in an empty styling chair next to us Listening and being part of the conversation being very present in the consultation. Brittany said; "Yes! I can do these highlights." I told Brittany I try to use products that are six free. Like no parabens, sulfates etc. The manager overheard me and then came over and started showing me a book of "beauty counter" The manager said she shouldn't be showing me this because its Products that individuals like herself sell not the salon. I said that I would definitely look it over because I am very interested in clean and healthy products. But then I went back into my conversation / consult with Brittany. Brittany asked me a few questions about my side part and off we started. I wear glasses and/or contacts with out them I can not see anything. This day I had my glasses on so I took those off and Brittany did her thing. She kept me facing my friend so we could talk. I kept telling Brittany I really love that sun-kissed ends, that really lived in dark root look. As we got to the toner she brought out a few shades of blonde colors. We picked a great color. She toned my hair and I stayed waiting with my head in the sink for the toner to process. After the toner was washed out and we were walking back to the chair. My friend waited for Brittany to walk away and She said; "Did you ask for baby highlights all over the top of your head?" I said; "No! Why?" My friend told me, "I don't know what this is but-this is not ombre!" I started to squint really hard to see in the mirror what my friend was talking about. And I just couldn't see. But I trusted Britney because she's a professional. So I told my friend; "I will wait to see what it looked liked before getting upset." Now Brittany was so sweet and kind also Very knowledgeable. I did not want to hurt her feelings. As an artist I understand how we stand behind our work. This is in no way shape or form a complaint against Brittany. She was amazing. However she just could not execute what I wanted. Inside I was Mortified at the state of my hair. I had stripes all over the top of my head where nothing should be! STRIPES! I decided that I would try to live with it for a day and see if I could get over it. I am truly open to new things but this WAS NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR. I called in the following morning right before the salon opened. After having some time to reflect on my hair. I asked to talk to Brittany she wasn't in until 10am. So I called back right at 10am and she was kind and understood what went wrong and was willing to fix it. She said it would cost additional money because now she had to put in the shadow root. I explain to her that Initially I wanted her to use my natural hair color as the shadow root. I didn't want dye in my hair. Brittany said "Oh.." like she now she finally understood what I wanted. However with all the baby highlights on the top of my head she said she had to use the dye to correct the issue and she would have to charge me additional cost. But she would talk to the manager about the cost. I was put on a brief hold and then the manager got on the phone.

This is where the entire experience took a nose dive. Up until this point I was treated with nothing but kindness and graciousness. My experience was very pleasant with Brittany even though it was not what I wanted. Honestly I struggled to write this e-mail because I didn't want anything bad to happen to Brittany because she was very kind and courteous to my needs. The manager who I don't even know her name. Because she never introduced herself to me on the phone or in person got on the phone. In my Calm cool nature I explained to her what had happened. She started in on me hardcore. Loudly, borderline yelling at me over the phone; "That's not what you asked for! I was RIGHT THERE! I heard your consultation! You never said ombre! You said HIGHLIGHTS! You said this, You said that." Needless to say it was a terrifyingly poor customer Service experience. I almost thought to record it because she was extremely rude and so loud. I work in customer Service myself. I was very calm and level toned as I normally am. I in fact didn't speak any different to either of the ladies. I did not yell or get loud with her. I asked her to calm down. I didn't call them first thing in the morning to argue with her. I told her; "I'm not Yelling or getting loud with you please give me the same professional courtesy that I'm giving to you over the phone." I told her; "This is no way a complaint against Britney or anything negative." I told the manager that she should view this as a learning experience. All it was, was that Brittany didn't understand what I wanted. The cut was good. The tone she picked out was great! It was the Technique and the placement that was wrong and Britney understood that when I spoke with her. As soon as I said that the manager again began to get loud and yell at me... "You never said ombre! That word NEV-VER came out of your mouth! That's a whole different technique! That cost more MONEY! Because she would of had to put dye in your hair! That's a shadow root!" I told the manger excuse me ma'am, stop! You may have overheard a few things that we talked about during my consultation but you were not there the entire time. Brittany said highlights not me. I told The manager she didn't see the photos that I showed Brittany when we were speaking about the ombre. I thought that when Brittany said highlights were part of the ombre. I don't know the different terms. The manager then went off again.. "These people come in here with celebrity photos of unrealistic expectations! blah! blah! blah!" I then said: "Excuse me! Excuse me ma'am stop! They were photos of me and my own hair." Once I said that the manager was like; "Well I have a client and you are gonna need to email me those photos and I will let you know! Before Brittany reschedules you I need to talk to my district manager about this whole situation and she will make that call." She made it sound as if you were going to be the one to call me and let me know. She also made it sound like she was going to get Brittany in trouble with you. Using a scare tactic and I did not like that! Needless to say I sent her the email with the photos right away on the 20th of April. Following that terrible phone conversation with the horrible manager. I then Googled your Headquarters info and left a voicemail regarding Brittany and her wonderful Disposition. Honestly after the way I was treated over the phone I didn't want to go back to your salon but I didn't want Brittany to get in trouble. I then called back multiple times in the following days leading up until My Party. The manger was too busy to talk to me or they told me she wasn't there. I didn't know what to do! I had to get my hair fixed. So I called another salon.

I went to the Michael Thomas hair Salon and had my hair fixed. I showed the stylist the exact same photos I showed to Brittany. The stylist knew right away that what was done to my hair was NOT AT ALL what I wanted. I do have my receipt from that. It cost additional money to have my hair fixed because they had to use hair dye for the shadow root and to re-bleach the ends of my hair. I do have another appointment to have y roots darkened again because where these highlights are my hair wouldn't darken enough. So In fact I have another $95-$140 treatment that will happen in a week or so.

I do want to let you know that my mother, and two older sisters both go to this salon and have gone to it for years. They will no longer support this location and or company in Solidarity. I am a wedding and large event coordinator for the largest and one of the most popular company in SWFL. I have sent countless Brides and Bridal parties to this very salon and location. I will no longer give out referrals to this salon. I will never, ever go to this salon again! I am shocked that the manager never did a follow up! She never returned a single one of my calls. And I'm just guessing here but I bet... She never even alerted you of an unhappy client. Due the managers lack of propriety I feel compelled to post this formal complaint on all the Regis Salons Social Media Pages and other ratings outlets. I do not want hard working women or men to spend money at this salon only to be treated worst than garbage if you do not like the outcome.

I just want to say that I have never in my entire adult life gone to a salon as a repeat client and had anyone, let alone the management treat me so poorly. The lack of professional from the manager was extremely shocking! I was truly taken back and down right upset at her tone and combativeness! Brittany was willing to graciously fix my hair to keep the client happy and she stayed 100% kind and professional. Then for the manager to aggressively come into a situation and completely destroy a professional working client to stylist relationship! She tried to use scare tactics and treat me truly horrible. No thank you. I want a full refund! I will never go back to that salon not even to work with Melissa at this point..

Please see the photos and receipts below. I expect a full refund. It has cost me significantly more to have my hair fixed. If not I will take further action.

This is so far what it has cost me to get my hair fixed $291.20 Plus I have another scheduled appointment to deepen my shadow root which will be a minimum of $95.00 so at the end of the day my hair just to be fixed will cost $386.20. Because of the highlights that I was given but I didn't want won't allow the color to grab close by my roots.

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management retouch

I received a retouch service at the Regis Salon on 4/19, store #02028. My hair is black and the root touch up that was done was not black. It was a brownish color that didn't match my hair color. I am extremely displeased with the outcome. Additionally, I paid $147 for the total service. The stylist charged me:
Color retouch $69
Haircut shampoo conditioner $30
Shampoo & style flat Iron (I did not request this) $13
Conditioner-Intensity (I did not request this) $13
Color-extra long (she didn't color my hair at all) $22

To charge me for items that I did not receive or request is a serious issue and quite frankly fraudulent.

I requested my roots to be touched up (poorly done) and my hair trimmed. That was it.

I need this to be rectified.

I had to leave town that weekend and I'm just getting back in town.

I have been with The Regis Corp for 6 yrs. I was out sick and was wrongfully terminated by district manager and regional manager, no reason when I called. So I went to a Regis salon owned by the Beautiful Group, what I joke 3 months later with 10 days notice the manager told us the salon is permanently closing on 12/16/18. No warning no sevince pay! Just so long! Both companies all though they are the same, are terrible to work for! So beware if you work for this company!

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management a staff member very rude

I was in Regis Salon today, 11/11/18, getting my haircut. I am a regular client of your stylist Cindi. As she was cutting my hair, all of the sudden a very strong smell of cigarette smoke filled the salon. I asked if someone was smoking in the salon. A new stylist named Michael walked in from the back room. Cindi went up to him, pulled him away from everyone and told him about the smell, as he had been smoking outside the back room and walked in. He was furious and made some under his breath comment toward me, as I am the one to complain. He then sat in his salon chair, directly across the salon from me, throwing me very nasty looks. When he finally had a client come in, he proceeded to turn the A/C down in the salon so that it was freezing. He was very rude and disrespectful toward Cindi and myself after being told about the smell. I do not appreciate his looks toward me and unfortunately, I dont know what his comment was, but he was throwing a tantrum. I've been coming to this salon for a year and have never smelled cigarette smoke nor had one of your staff be completely rude.

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management can’t get product refund back

I bought a Moroccan Oil Moisture Repair in October 2018 at the River Valley Mall in Lancaster Ohio. The manager promised refund if it didn't work. When I took it back the girl there had no idea how to do a refund on the register. When I went back two days later, the other lady there also did not know how to do a refund. She promised the manager would call. Still nothing.

I am stuck with a $27 product that I do not want even though I have a receipt. Beware!

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management loss of money and terrible customer service

I have booked in a hair appointment for balayage weeks prior as I am going to be attending a wedding soon, booked it for 3/11/18 I had a call a few days prior to advise that the hair stylist is off sick and won be able to take my appointment but another hair stylist is able to do it for a higher price, I agreed as I was desperate and needed it doing for that day.
I live quite far from the salon and had to take public transportation, I bought an all day pass just for the appointment. They called an hour and 10 minutes before my appointment and It takes me approx 1 hour and a 45 mns to get to meadowhall, they advised that the hair stylist that was supposed to be doing my hair has gone home and there was no one to do my hair and was told the next availability was in a week's time, the wedding is in 3 days, she didn't try and apologize or offer any discounts for my inconvenience, only when asked she said I could get 20% off but nothing else, i am extremely disappointed and upset with the what happened and the way I was treated over this one appointment. I have wasted my time and money on traveling into town just to be told not to come?! It's really rediculous to think this is acceptable for an established company to treat customers. I would like to speak to speak to somebody about this and how it will be resolved.

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management my wife's perm

Were are going on 2 and a half months now waiting for our refund that was submitted. My wife had her perm done in June and it came out terrible we have already spoken with someone about this and have been told our check should have been here weeks ago at this point. This is extremely bad customer service. I would like someone to call me and tell me when I'm gonna receive my refund please. I paid 150 dollars for a perm that lasted 2 days and was nothing more than wavy not even a curl. Please contact me

I have been to Regis in the Oaks Mall a few times, this time I came in and was greeted by my stylist and the manager. The manager previously done my hair, since, the new requested stylist has done my hair. I spoke to both and was in mid conversation when the manager rudely walked off. During the entire service I felt complete tension and I felt that I got my stylist in a bind because I no longer wanted the manger doing my hair. it was very immature. I love my hair and the positivity from my stylist but due to the managers actions I will not be back to this salon. I do not wish to be contacted! previously the salon was very pleasant and a fun environment this time was much different. I just wanted it to be known that the only bad vibes I got in the whole salon was from the manager.

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management wilkes-barre, pa haircut incident

There was an incident at this place that involved a hair stylist. In this process, my glasses were scratched while getting a haircut, but the hair stylist denies it even though I watched her do it. I will not name her into the investigation is complete, but it's been 2 weeks and this has fallen on deaf ears. My vision is getting missed up due to the damage on my eyeglass lens. Every attempt made via phone is promised by CSR Amy by a call back, but no phone call is every returned. You need to stop being so careless in this salon. I will be not be going back to this location. If I need to escalate this to the next level, I will. How long will this take before I actually get any answers? Store Manager Mary referred me to the Corporate office. Talked to CSR Amy several times and I'm getting nowhere...Let's get a move on this...

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management highlight and cut

I went to regis salon in the bowling green mall on may 26 to get my hair high lighted and cut. It was my first time ever getting highlights. I paid alot of money to have my healthy hair fried and breaking off. I live three hours away. I normally work 6 or 7 days a week 10 to 12hr days. The day after i got my hair colored i woke up to a knotted mess and chunk had come out. It is a three hr process to wash and comb my hair now i have bought shampoos, hair masks, leave in cond., detanglers and my hair is still breaking off. I called the salon and spoke with one of the managers . She apologized and told me if i would come back in they would do some kind of treatment and try to repair the damage. I explained to her it wasnt that simple that i was from tn and was in the middle of closing out a job and wouldnt be able to make it back in for 2 or 3 wks. She told me that was fine just to call back and it wld be free of charge well i made apointment yesterday . When i called today to make sure there was not going to be as charge . The manager informed me that i would have to pay. I told her to forget it. Between actual cost and the hair masks and products that i had to buy just to be able to comb my hair i have spent around 300. I am highly upset that they were trying to charge me for a treatment that i wouldnt have has d to have if it wasnt for them over processing my hair . It took over three hours for her to just put highlights in .

There were 5 complaints on a hairstylist inside walmart I believe her name is Victoria or Veronica she worked today at 4.30 today the 23rd of Sept. She is white and has brown hair. No wonder yr business sucks over here in this salon she's kicking everyone out of yr salon .I was looking for product I work at Walmart I was a hair dresser for 25 years and never got treated by such a rude hairdresser . I watched her insult the elderly today when he asked a price on the haircut. And she said she's busy with a client and that he should leave her exact words. Today she made my friend Vickie cry she chased her out of the salon. U need to get rid of that miserable woman chasing e be everyone out of salon tried calling to talk to someone at Regis but can't get through. U need to deal with this person also got a complaint on phone call today on this person that she was so rude she wants to cash in her gift card for haircuts.because the women who works there was so rude she was the only one in salon today get rid of that witch. As ND I hope u do something about her attitude

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management hair cut/color

I went to my local Regis Salon, where I saw Loren, who has been cutting my hair for years. I have been trying to grow my hair out for a couple of years, but she tends to cut off a bit more than I would like, but I liked the styling, so I kept going back to her. This past Friday, we discussed that she would remove 2 from my hair - when I washed my hair two days later, I realized that she had actually cut off about 4 inches. I know this because the base of my hair used to reach the middle of my chest - now, it comes to just below my collar bone . Also, the upper layers of my hair used to reach my shoulders - they now reach about an inch below my chin. As you can imagine, I am not pleased. More than that, she colored my hair - but the last time she colored my hair, she put in a series of highlights - this time she did not, and the root line is clearly visible. She charged me $96 for this service - I did not tip her, as I was not pleased at the time. I would like at least a partial refund for those services.

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management employees

This salon has completely gone downhill. I'm unsure as to what qualifications one needs to possess to become a manager within this company, unfortunately this one is a disaster. I go to the salon to have "me time" not to listen to people get talked about or to hear about an employee discussing to the stylist doing my hair that her boyfriend "came inside of her the night before." When I asked my stylist who she was and that she needed to contact the manager about what was said, my stylist said "Oh I'm sorry ma'am, but she is our manager." I was disgusted and couldn't believe what I heard. My service was wonderful and my stylist was very sweet, management is poor and very unprofessional.

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management haircut

I contacted someone on the phone May 18th about a horrible experience I recieved. I was promised a phone call from the district manager of the salon within 2 business days and still haven't heard anything. I went to the Pembroke Mall location in Virginia Beach Virginia on May 16th. I would still like to speak to someone and have my problem resolved.
