Red Roof Inn room I booked from 07/06/2018 through 07/08/2018

I had two weddings to attend Friday 7/6/18 and Saturday 7/7/18 and have a checkout day of Sunday 7/8/18. From my very first hour there I was electrically shocked trying to do my hair with their cracked hairdryer (photos attached) maintenance had to come and remove it from the wall for my safety. The toilet had to be repaired many times, and is still broken when i checked out, the dresser is broken and everything was OVER dirty. I ended up getting a different room in the middle of the night and using it to shower and toilet. I ended up paying for two rooms and one of them was being repaired the whole time. I am requesting a full refund of room 320 in the amount of $159.60 and a partial refund of room 319 that I was forced to move into at midnight due to the conditions of room 320 in the amount of $58.55. And ontop of all this I was charged TWICE for room 319 (bank statement screenshot attached) I find that to be a fair reimbursement for the difficulty I was subjected too during my stay there. Total amount that I believe I'm entitled too is $333.75. That includes the DOUBLE charge to my bank account. Kindly review all my documents plus statement and contact me as soon as possible to let me know about my resolution. Thank you.

I've asked complaintboard to remove my complaint MANY times and they are refusing. I was under the impression that I was privately messaging them to help me with my issue. Be careful before posting personal information, it took me a week to have them edit it..and worst of all they don't allow people to revise a thing!

Red Roof Inn bad customer service

June 21-22 2018 want refund!
I'm from Montreal and I booked the wrong date at 8:00pm for the day I booked it. I wanted to change it to the Friday. I called PriceLine the booking agent I went through the same day as booking for the following day. They called the hotel and no one answered.. I called them back the next morning. They called the hotel and the hotel said no because of policy. So I called the hotel and told them my story. The girl I spoke to said they would call me back with booking which she never did. I called again and a woman named Jennifer said she couldn't do anything and to call back for the manager. I called a 3rd time and spoke to the manager Patel. All I wanted was to switched the date, he doesn't lose anything and I don't lose anything. He was rude, kept cutting me off and lied that I or Priceline ever called them earlier and that it was my credit card and not mine that was used.. The worst customer service ever and I wouldn't recommend Red Roof Inn to anybody and I've been posting on how bad I was mistreated for a small thing that could be easily fixed.. You wonder why other countries dislike the United States.

Red Roof Inn customer service

I am staying at Red Roof Inn in Mt. Pleasant, SC Patriots Point. My reservation was 6/25/2019 (Monday) until 6/29/2108 (Thursday). On 6/26/2018 (Tuesday) at ~ 1045 I noticed black/brown bugs on my white bed linen. I photographed the bugs and called the office by dialing zero. A maintenance person came to my room and witnessed the bugs. The manager called and requested I come to the office to get a key to move to another room. I showed her the photos of the bugs. I was in the process of moving from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor (no elevator only stairs). It is almost 100 degrees today in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The temp is in the 90s. I have migraines. It takes me about 1 hour to move my pet and what I brought (heavy laptops for example). The manager called and spoke to me disrespectfully and rudely about why was it taking me so long to move, that check out was 1100. I wasn't checking out; I was moving because there were bugs in my bed linen. No one offered to help me. I believe I should have been given the time I needed (taken into consideration the 90 degree heat, stairs, and my migraines) to move because of bugs in my bed and not spoken to in a rude or disrespectful manner about any time it took me to move. I am presently searching for another hotel to move to. My husband and I are well traveled, and I believe the customer service was very poor. When I stayed at a hotel in California and had to move room because of a plumbing issue, the staff helped me move by grabbing heavy bags.

What? You worried about me checking the spelling in the complaint I am about send you? After reading prior complaints...seems to me that CORPORATE RED ROOF INN would use what little energy they posses towards righting the wrongs their customers experienced at the hands of Red Roof employees...basis of complaints seem to be the same ones...RUDE EMPLOYEES...NASTY ROOMS...REFUSAL OF REFUNDS just in different locations...( customers, who are responsible for those over paid employees getting a paycheck...because without customers...WHAT'S THE POINT OF RED ROOF'S existence?) Since it seems CORPORATE could care less about their reputation or the satisfaction of their customers...looks like I have a little work to do...let's see like calling the HEALTH BOARDS & TV STATIONS in the area of where each complaints generated from. We give you our money in good faith...expectations of a clean room and courteous customer service and in return you think you can get away with the wrong, wrong, oh so wrong practices that Red Roof embraces. If nothing else...I will get peace of mind knowing I placed upon Red Roof the frustration I endured by them. Plus I get the satisfaction of knowing I may have saved someone from choosing RED ROOF as their hotel to stay at. Everyone loves a good EXPOSE'.

Red Roof Inn house keeping

My family and I are staying at the red roof in on Knoxville off paper mill rd. We are staying three nights. After the first night no trash was removed from the room. After last night, still no removal of trash, the bed wasn't made and the old towels were left on the floor. I have attached pictures. The person at the front desk was very nice, however not much she can do. I have attached pictures. If this is how Red Roof Inns are run we will not be using your facilities in the future and will make sure friends and family stay clear as well.

Red Roof Inn the room was wet filled with mold fungus all over the room

We booked two rooms last night and both rooms were wet all contents including the bed was wet and stinky, the tissue paper and the bathroom contents desk chair was wet filled with mold. One of the gentlemen was ill . We had to leave in the middle of the night and sleep in the truck due to the uncleared unkept rooms . The smell was not good and we went to the front desk got our money back and the clerk did not say anything about the rooms. Apparently they knew these rooms were filled moth mold and filthy . I have never experienced anything like this before. I had to take meds, eat lemons and drink plenty of water. I'm going to the Dr to get a wellness check. Something really needs to be done about this!

Red Roof Inn the unsatisfactory conditions of the rooms

My brother stayed at the above reference hotel on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. The purpose of his trip was to attend my Grandmother's funeral, in which he was a Paul Bearer as well. They stay at this location was horrible and totally unacceptable; too imagine having to staying in conditions like this and comparing them to his tour of duty in Iraq is such a shame! Please review the following photos and take immediate action!

Also, to advertise this location as "Seaworld" is very misleading and a sure way to lure more guests!

The staff was horrible as well, the morning he was checking out on 6/13/18; the clerk was too busy on the phone on what seemed as a personal call.

Red Roof Inn wrongly charged

Hello my name is Shawryell.
I'm writing you guys in regards to an incident that I encountered this with you location in Melvindale at 17600 Dix Rd.
As you guys can research, I stayed there back in February of 2018 in which i paid $118.81.
Yesterday on 6/17/2018 my debit card was charged for the exact same price when i haven't been there since February.
It has been a huge inconvenience because now my account has been over drafted as well as my card being permanently deactivated due to me reporting it as fraud before I actually spoke with the counter guy.
When i got there I was told that there there was a glitch in the system and that I was the third person complaining about that.
I was without funds on fathers day with an overdrawn account so I asked if there was any way they could accommodate me and was told "Sorry the best i can do is void the charges", When I never should have been double charged 4 months later.
I would really like to speak with someone about this issue and how would you guys be able to accommodate my inconvenience as it was completely wrong on RED ROOFS behalf.

Red Roof Inn management

Dover, DE..., management staff berrades his employees, young girls I might add, uses foul language, harasses, has them overcharge customers, & threatens Thier jobs if they don't do it...reporting to BBB, but warning anyone thinking of applying or staying with them...
The manager was cussing at a young girl working night shifts for him during firefly weekend, talking to her like garbage...just appalled

Red Roof Inn they won't return my money!

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the Red roof Inn corporation due to the lack of accountability concerning employee errors. I am out of over $230.00 that was charged in error. I haven't had this money since 6/8/18 and I keep getting the run around. Even when I complained to corporate headquarters, they could care less! I used to love staying here but for this... Never again!

Red Roof Inn bed bugs

I stay at the red roof in Beamount Texas me and my son and we got bit by bed begs see pictures and video the manger is basically stated that she don't see any signs of any bed begs Bad customer service . I called the corporate office no help they stated that beamount location is a franchise and the couldn't help me I'm off work for 4 days im on two different medicines due itching and my allergies my son is 16 and he is itching real bad please help me find a Lawery . Red Roof Inn front desk and parking

My husband car was scratched in the parking lot and we went to the front desk to find out if Red Roof Inn Toledo University Ohio had cameras and the front desk lady Bobbie was rude and unhelpful. Her attitude was terrible, we stay at this hotel quite often we have a son in Toledo for school and we have never had a issue. But the Bobbie lady wouldnt give me her name so i asked one of the cleaning ladies. We spend our hard earned money with your hotel and expected to be treated better than were.

Red Roof Inn why they ignore customers?

I don't understand why Red Roof Inn Corporate doesn't take action against all these negative reviews and complaints. Something is really wrong with many of their hotel staff and management. As well, a lot of illegal activity taking place and fraud charges. Customer service is really bad in many hotels. I have reached out to corporate about many of these issues about a year ago and things have not improved.
The most difficult hotels are the ones that are independently owned where the corporate office won't help you with. So, if you can't get things resolved at the local hotel, most likely the Corporate Office won't be able to help either.
Only time will tell how long this low budget hotel chain will last.

Red Roof Inn fraud charges

My wife and I stood at the Red Roof Inn Joliet, IL we left May 25th to Indiana for camping during Memorial Day weekend. When we returned I saw a charge on my credit card for May 26-27th. I called the hotel and they stated that it shows in there system that I stood in the hotel those days and was charged. I stated to the general manager that I was not at the hotel, I was out of state and I have documentation and sufficient proof of that. She refused to refund my credit card and refused to give me a receipt for the charges. I have reached out to my lawyer and we are in the process of filing a suit against them as well filing fraud charges. We did reach out to the corporate office, but they were not willing to help. The corporate office has nothing to do with the hotels since the majority are independently owned. The name is just a money collector for the corporate office, so don't bother calling them. TIP: read documents before signing and always ask for a receipt. Use a prepaid card with the exact amount to pay for the hotel. Any illegal issues, get a lawyer and let him/her deal with it. Red Roof Inn Joliet, IL will have to pay me a lot more back beside the one night fee charge.

Red Roof Inn lack of cleanliness and communication

On May 29th 2018, my husband and I rented a room at the Downers Grove Illinois hotel. We got into the room, pulled back the bedding and there were stains on the mattress pad. The room also smelled of smoke. We talked to the front desk clerk, turned in our keys and left without staying overnight. It took several attempts to talk to the manager, as we were told she was in a meeting for hours on end. Her response was she had to talk to the night clerk concerning what had happened and she would get back to me in regards to refunding my money. That was 6 hours ago. Not the best way to run a business in my opinion! If you need to contact me by all means feel free. I also have a photo of the unclean mattress pad.

Red Roof Inn unethical behavior - reserved room not available

To Whom It May Concern:

I just spoke to an employee at your establishment named (James), who was working the front desk, and not so friendly or professional, that told my daughter, who is a visitor in your state, that she would have to wait 13 hours to check into her room that was reserved. Her flight landed at 1:45am and he didn't even try to accommodate her, but he did offer her another room for an additional amount of money.

Then he told her that she couldn't stay on the premises because the Manager might think that she was loitering, (you know being that she is an African American woman). She would have to go somewhere else to wait to check in to her room. Unacceptable. It is early in the morning, dark, and unfamiliar to my daughter and he sent her away like she was not trustworthy to be on the premises, and that she was going to do something. My daughter is an Account Executive for a well-known agency and worked all day today to be treating in this matter. She was traveling from California to Chicago and just wanted to lay her head down to sleep in a room that she had reserved.

I tried to pay for her room so that she could get some rest and start her day, but he told me that I couldn't pay for her room because Red Roof Inn doesn't take credit cards over the phone. I even offered to make reservations online. I couldn't believe that he didn't try to move her reservation to the available room since there was obviously one available. I did book my daughter a room at a different establishment that didn't give her or me any problems.

I also asked him for the phone number to your Corporate Office, and he gave me [protected] as your Corporate Office phone number. When your actual phone number is [protected]. So, that tells me that he doesn't value your customers, or potential customers.

I will be calling your Corporate Office in the morning, my time (California), to express my disappointment in the service she received.

I hope that this is not how Red Roof Inn conducts business with all African American customers.

Red Roof Inn foul language from the general manager

I over heard very inappropriate language coming from the front desk personnel at your location in Springfield Mo.. Then come to find out it was the General Manager whos name is Bobbie Simmons.. The to tp it off it was directed towards another employee.. I travel the country to rate hotels across the nation.. This location was terrible.. They were renovating so it was a lot of noise during the day which they didn't let me know ahead of time. Then when I heard the vulgar language coming from the General Manager I was appauled.. I seriously hope this issue gets resolved soon..

Red Roof Inn poorly organized hotel in wilmington!!!

Good Evening.

My Family and I are RediCard Club Members#[protected]. We stayed at the Wilmington, NC Red Roof Inn on 5107 Market Street Wilmington, NC 28405. We stayed there, checked in on Saturday May 26 thru Today, Monday May 28th. The room that we were placed in was #117. This room was:
-Filthy
-Dirty Bathroom with Shower making Loud Noises
-Lack of Towels/Pillows
-No Toilet Paper.
-Our Keys Did Not Work Properly The Entire Stay!
We had to go to the Front Desk Everytime we needed to get into the room.

In my Opinion, this Hotel need to be Demolished and Rebuilt to match your Raleigh Location. The Staff was Not Helpful at All!

What I would like is My Money back for the Entire Weekend($220.04)

It was not a Great Stay and I Demand that the Red Roof Corporation make this right.

Red Roof Inn red roof inn & suites newark-university

The most disgusting, repulsive, filthy room (number 231) we have ever stayed in. If it were not for my son's graduation and all other hotels were booked we would have left. I took pictures and will submit to the Department of code violations. The filth was overwhelming. When the management was advised they did not care. They pretend not to understand english... The dirt, bugs, stains, Plumbing fixtures loose and not attached to the walls, the SMELL of the room, plaster falling out of the ceiling in the bathroom... For $ 586 shame on you!
I took pictures and will send to the Delaware buildings department so inspectors can pay a visit to the Red roof inn in Newark Delaware-University on 1119 South College Avenue Newark Delaware 19713

Red Roof Inn night front desk staff

My boyfriend and i checked in today in your San Diego location we are in rooms 211 and 223, reservations under [removed]. When we checked in the staff was friendly and accommodating . I even received a call to my room to ushure that our needs were meet. We were told at check in where we could park anywhere in the parking lot including the parking in front of the hotel. Tonight around 10:30 pm we arrived after dinner and parked in the open parking spot in front of the hotel. As we closed the doors to our veichel Tyrce pokes his head out of the front door and rudely told us that we couldn't park there. My boyfriend told him that we were told that we could. Tyrce said I don't know who told you that but you can't park there. Again he was rude and abrasive. I honestly felt like he was treating us porley because of our skin color. I don't ever use the race card and i have never felt discriminated against before. Tonight was a first! My boyfriend didn't argue back and moved the truck. I on the other hand was upset by the way we were treated and went to the front door and told him that his attitude was not necessary, and that we were told at check-in that we could park there. Tyrce then told me that my "husband" gave him the attitude first. So Tyrce admitted he had a attitude. I again trying to stay calm explained to him at check in that he was told that we could park there and it was not labeled no parking so the attitude was not nessary. He said fine just stay there I'll leave a note for whoever told you that in the morning. At that point my boyfriend already moved his vehicle and thankfully did not witness the way Tyrce was speaking to me and raising his voice. I have worked in the coustomer service industry for 22 years. I would NEVER treat a customer in the manner that Tyrce did my family nor would I let any of my employees. The customer is always right even when they are wrong. In this case we were right all the way. If Tyrce isn't capable of providing mediocre customer service at best maybe he should find a different job. He made my family and I feel very uncomfortable. This is the first time i have ever complained about hotel service. Normally i can just shrug things off but tonight was different.

Red Roof Inn refund

We got a room in elyria ohio. The dates wad friday the 25th - the 27th I understand that they are a pet friendly hotel. However we got our room 236 it was a suite deluxe 2 full beds non-smoking it smelled of wet dog didn't even looked clean. We had to go to the store get house spray, pine sol, and lysol disinfectant spray, a mop & cleaned and mopped our own room. Then a flee jumps on my arm, I complained was given another suite deluxe 2 full beds non-smoking. Same thing. The third time I was given a normal room witch is way cheaper then the suite I wanting a refund or my money back from the hotel, they said I have to go though yawl, I always use your site but this is the worst hotel ever
