Red Roof Inn customer service/ and facility

Upon arrival at Red Roof Inn #401 in Hershey PA. The front desk agen was busy swimming and unable to check me in for a period of time, when he finally did, he was barefoot and frustrated I interupted his little swim. He did not greet me, but told me I had "no reservation". After showing him the confirmation number he again stated I had none. Im not sure how but after I asked if he had a room, and if not I would gladly go somewhere else, he came up with a room. He was rude Nd disrespectful.
Upon entry into my room, I found, blood splatter on the walls, room needing major maintenance, dead bugs in light fixtures, and BLACK MOLD atop the shower, that was attempted to be painted over. Later we called for towels and were denied, and told if we wanted them we would have to come get them.
Red Roof Inn has ignored all my calls today, disconnected my call once, not returning it, than just plain not answering the last attempt.
I have pictures of all issues, and will be forwarding them to multiple media and Health Department personel.
I am disgusted

Red Roof Inn unethical hotel management and staff that have been stealing, unauthorized credit card transactions, unsafe environment

Dear Red Roof, redicard, guest relations, and corporate headquarters, Im Ron MacIntosh and I have
Redi card # [protected] .. We have had been staying at this red roof location since November of 2017.. we have been paying a specific rate from February until we were given less than 12 hours notice that our rate would be completely different to around 3 times the rate...(and we are considered residents..and that they could charge us pretty much anything they wanted..we are also tax exempt since we have been at the same location consecutively for more than 90 days. We have been unethically and very poorly treated in the past few months and have not gotten anywhere with the front desk or management, who has done nothing but be DEMEANING to us and Rude to us..we were told yesterday morning by one specific overnight front desk staff though, when I paid for Saturday to Sunday, before leaving to try and get any money together I could for the weekend cause I'm gonna need it, after I was charged $124.00, not given a receipt or even emailed one, to call redicard services and let you know what we have been dealing with, what we have spent at red roof, what we are BEING put through daily AND continuously getting worse by the day..AND to call or email redicard and guest relations to require and demand a refund AND a free night against our account asap, and also to get all of the points that we have been missing for months (approx 35, 113 points) that we could have used for free nights before we check out of here for good on August 8th...even though that's not legally when we have to check out..BECAUSE the letters are null and void since the owner had No knowledge of it..plus we are "residents"..and we can claim residency for 10 days for No cost at all..just for being lied to so much! Because no-one can seem to help me or us..or my family..and every time my wife has a chance to call..she's on hold forever, or the staff gives her bad news after hours, and it's too late because no-one is there. She gets so upset and worried..and to make things worse..No one knows what the other is ever doing around this motel, everyone also always has a different story for every question asked and they Purposely hold back on our check in check out dates so we DONT get our points. That we work out tails, arms legs, and dignity off for apparently! We have a ton of things to also share with guest relations that we have been trying to resolve with maintenance and management, but not one single thing AT ALL has been fixed or addressed (BECAUSE the maintenance man is not allowed in our room!), And I guess because we are now just being treated as complete intruders by all of the staff and especially by management... I've never ever seen anything like whats going on here after being loyal to this hotel/ motel since even before November of 2016. We were supposed to move into a new home on July 15th but on July 6 we found out that all of the money we have them was going to be lost and the realtor backed out and we lost it..after waiting 7 months for this home we even had the keys for, we had to hurry and find a rental that of course we need to hand out another $3000.00 for, mind you I didnt mention that my wife has a terminal illness and I have a disabled son and a service dog.. so if i can't get the free nights im owed, plus the points that ive been missing..ive got every receipt since November. We have been robbed by an employee who no longer works here because she is in jail for being picked up on having severe illicit drugs on her and we were accused of not paying..so once they found out we did pay in full..we never got an apology or any kind of compensation..we have to beg for toilet paper and towels, and because we have a service dog, we dont have housekeeping come in because they claim his size scares them...i have pictures of everything that can back up what's happened to my family... Including last week when the police banged on our door on Sunday evening claiming that my wife(who can barely walk by the way and we are up on the 2nd floor) allegedly put her hands on him the morning prior to that!..So they pulled her out of the room in front of my disabled son, and got her statement and knew immediately that he was playing a game because he was in the parking lot below us while they were talking to her just heckling and laughing..they apologized profusely...but every other staff member pretended not to know a single thing and played dumb. We have been excellent residents. Bent over backwards for anyone who needed a hand here whether it was a guest or staff..but it doesn't change that we are" VALUED GUESTS " in great standing with red roof.. there has to be something that can be done with points, complimentary stays after spending more than $16, 000 at this location alone..and it has to be done fast..because someone keeps cancelling any reservations we make so we dont get put out with a child and a service dog whike my wife and son are there alone..and I was told that redicard services was going to be the only way we could get help. We have new house thst We have to rent emergency that will cost us another $3000 but we it won't be ready until August 20th at the latest..and we have nowhere to go in the meantime dragging my wife and son and dog from another slummy hotel to hotel. We can send any pics needed..includingbthe ceiling that looks like it's about to fall down from holding tons of water and its above my sons bed..mold in the bathroom, threats my guests staff etc..there is no other room for us to move to..becsuse we were told once we leave this room, we haventonleave the property. Please, email me or my wife..her email is [protected]@gmail.com...but if its possible could you forward this to guest relations and I will write them with further more severe and extremely dangerous threatening information with pictures and all the proof they want. But under any circumstances can this email be shared with this property..since have all the proof I need. I just need corporate redicard and guest relations in my corner becsuse there is a plethora of illegal activity going on and they will just purposely make it as uncomfortable and awkward as possible for my wife and son..and believe me..it took all Bihar in me to get the courage to send even this...we are in a corner..and need help! Hope fully someone gets in touch with my wife today..(sunday) and the desk ssid that if redicard okays it that we could get a refund for Saturday night since I've Never paid that the entire time we have ever been here...noone will honor the redi promise guarantee about being happy with stays..and it's been sheer hell for 2 months. Im easy going so this was very hard for me to write and send...enough is just enough so im praying and hoping that there are some humane people that see this message and accept it for as urgent as it is... we dont want red roof to get a bad name and ive seen more and more bad experiences...hopefully my wife hears from someone this morning. Please please find a way to help my family...we can't be homeless until our other house is ready in Aug. In doing all I can to find every resource I can to help us move on as soon as we can so we dont have to feel like intruders any longer. The prostitution and drug dealing is whst has taken over here..so we are stuck In our room now anyway. Im praying this was the right thing to do...but from what I've seen for complaints and reaching out for help..and getting serious and dangerous and very very unproffessionally handled and illegally handled situations...I fear I may have to keep climbing ladder after ladder even though my family only has hours to help get resolution..and we have been unbelievably loyal to red roof..of red roof amstands behind the redi promise..the hassle free guarantee..ESPECIALLY being a "resident"..(by no fault of our own)..I need the help and the resolution to something...at least be recognized..today..now..before dark..please please please let me just find one single glimmer of hope out there..that someone cares that this has and is happening..Now..more unreal news to add...
(And today Aug 31, 2018..my wife was sitting in the truck trying to have privacy from our son to make serious calls and emails, and the COPS come up to the truck..AGAIN..with another false call from an employee that was circling the vehicle for 15 min claiming he banged on her window and tried to open the door and she didn't respond!) Welllll...NOONE KNOCKED, BANGED, TAPPED ON ANY WINDOW..AND NOONE TRIED TO OPEN THE TRUCK DOOR! BEEECAAUUSSEEE...SHE WAS ACTUALLY EMAILING A LANDLORD, TEXTING ME(ITS TIME STAMPED), AND...SHE WAS WRITING INFO DOWN ABOUT PICTURES OF THE HOTELS FALLING CEILING IN OUR ROOM AND TALKING TO AN ACTUAL EMPLOYEE OF THE RED ROOF WE ARE IN AT MT LAUREL NJ! THE POLICE PROFUSELY APOLOGIZED AND SUGGESTED MY WIFE GO FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT FOR HARRASSMENT AND SOLICITATION BY CIRCLING HER WHEREABOUTS 3 DIFFERENT TIMES NOW WHERE SHE ACTUALLY HSS GONE FOR PRIVACY AND TO NOT BE BOTHERED BY A SOUL NOR BE A BOTHER TO ANOTHER GUEST, EMPLOYEE, OR PASSERBY ..THEN...SIMULTANEOUSLY, THE MAN DISAPPEARS AFTER ABOUT 20 MIN...AND THEN THE COPS SHOW UP WITH A MADE UP FALSE STORY OR DEFAMED ACCUSATION...THIS IS IT! REALLY!?! Ok..we can't move into the house that we had our deposit for to give last Monday, because we went from paying $59.39/nite since December actually..at times less...at times more if we accidentally booked thru a diff way..but we have consistently been a redicard member since then, but thousands and thousands of our points disappeared or NEVER SHOWED UP... There are front desk employees that try to and succeed at selling "out of order" rooms..by the hour when they work overnight...they use horribly foul language..saying "f" this and that...and "Thinking in thier heads that they are being funny or cool" in front of my son..My wife..every employee but 1 front desk person who has proved utterly trustworthy...and stands behind us all the way but will back us if need be..but may need to anonymously..until he gets other employment..we can't have our room fixed..BECSUSE THE MAINTENANCE MAN ISNT ALLOWED IN OUR ROOM! So we are so screwed in ANY way you look at it... If we get our points returned..which is around 35, 111 points approximately..and we have invested a total of..$2, 723.00 just in the last 32 days here..no housekeeping, no service, just threats, phone calls, illegal letters, and tripled rates, danger, a mangled room, $10.00 to do a load of wash, no "free" waters, no fresh coffee unless we make it ourselves because the employees are nodding out at the desk while checking people in and out and giving them incorrect keys to thier rooms, we've had cash stolen by employees who demanded "long sleeved shirts" in warm weather...to cover tract marks..we we're robbed twice by here if $172.00, and then $60.00 because our rate was 59.39 at that given time..and the other 3 nights for the $172.00 which was already paid in cash, then my wife's credit card for charged...then she took $172.00 from me again insisting if it wasn't paid we had to check out and call a manager in the morning..those nights were for $59, $57, & $57..and we were not even in our room those 3 days because my wife ended up hospitalized with an infection through her blood and kidneys and had 9 seizures in 2 days WELL..surprise! THAT YOUNG LADY WAS CAUGHT STEALING OUR MONEY AFTER WE WERE TREATED LIKE THE THIEVES AND DIDNT PAY..WERE THREATENED TO BE PUT OUT BECAUSE SHE HAD US DOWN AS NOT PAYING...AND SHE NEVER SAW ME BUT ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS WATCH THE CAMERA..AND ALSO..LOOK AT THE PAPER I HAD FROM HER! IF I WAS NEVER IN THE OFFICE HOW DID I KNOW SHE WAS THERE!? HOW DID SHE KNOW EXACTLY WHAT WAS MISSING? AND WHAT WAS GONE OF OURS..WAS EXACTLY WHAT THE DRAWER WAS SHORT BOTH TIMES! BUT ONCE SHE GOT BUSTED..AND THEN ARRESTED FOR HAVING 8 BUNDLES OF "ILLICITDRUGS" ON HER..SHE WENT TO JAIL AND NEVER CAME BACK!..SHE ADMITTED TO SOMEONE ELSE THAT SHE STOLE OUR MONEY..BRAGGED ABOUT HOW TO DO IT..AND THEY RATTED HER OUT TO US, THANK GOD! What upsets Me and is causing my whole life to be up in arms and grief stricken right now, is that the STRESS and the HEALTH hazards have caused these relapses to happen weekly now to my wife, and my son has an autoimmune disease as well..and he is also disabled, so he gets teased and taken advantage of..and told things like, "Your Mom and Dad could pay for their room if they sold your medications"...WHAT?%%!**##$$?! HOW THE HELL DOES ANY GUESTS KNOW MY SONS MEDICATIONS..UNLESS THEY DRILLED HIM..BECAUSE HE (HAS) TO KNOW THEM FOR SAFETY REASONS..! Unfreakingbelievable! Right!? People have tried to give him other things before because it must be "funny" but it's child abuse and endangerment from other people! (Thats exactly why I had to leave where my family was at my parents..because the same exact thing was going on..and a dyfs case got opened again my stepfather towards my son for abuse and threats and endangering the welfare of a child who is disabled..which made it worse!)...AND my son should be able to walk downstairs to get some fresh air..talk to one of his buddies that comes and goes here at times..and walk his service dog..nope...because he's a big boy from medication and illness side effects...he used to walk around and visit and say hi to the other "residents" here who we got to know pretty well...and sadly..some of them really did harm to him. My wife can't be EVERYWHERE every second..and even in the office for God's sake, one of the "so called General managers" who just sits in a chair with a cane insulting my wife any chance he gets..(we are paying guests mind you) AND destroys people's Integrity, tears down their Confidence, and talks to some of us like total garbage and human waste..and crossed boundaries that I would NEVER THINK TO DO TO ANOTHER PERSON LET ALONE A MOTHER!...MY wife was told by him that, "SHE needs to address the issues of anger between father and son, that SHE needs to parent HER CHILD a specific way..stop babying him..but stop putting demands on him..and the "parent" always has the final say...period..!"..I mean...look..I could go on for weeks and turn stomachs of steel...but I'm exhausted...AND I need to FORWARD this EVERYWHERE! Directing us back to the desk here..or office or owner...will just cause so many more frightening and unpredictable problems for us the remaining time we HAVE to be here because there is NOWHERE for us to go for another 3 weeks at least...with a sick wife, disabled son, service dog that's an 89 lb chocolate lab, and myself..along with our routine, a schedule of meds, Drs, medical pick up transportation..and dyfs is aware we are here..that we will be attempting to stay here until we can move into our home, but if we leave we are totally homeless because my son's SSI makes things difficult for any emergency housing or help...I've never seen such hurdles and boundaries and obstacles to cross for myself...when it's so easy for everyone to inappropriately and simply cross mine and my families over and over in the most horrifying ways...I'm speechless and have a million things to still out out there at the same time. I hope to God my time doing this was not in vain..my family deserves justice of some type..courtesy, care, and to feel contentment, security, and safety for once for a place I am paying to be at every single day...and that has cost me every penny we have ... $17, 787.00 to date...August 1, 2018.. That's a whole car, more than a home down payment, and more than a year's worth of rent at $1200.00/ mtg for an entire home..we've suffered enough..if I can post pictures or send them..i surely will..hopefully Redroof Or Redicard or Guest Relations will take care of SOMETHING TODAY at least by just acknowledging that we are living, breathing, human beings that are ONE of the reasons that this hotel alone is still in business...and with everything we have evidence of..pictures of..texts of..letters of..and videos of...every receipt, every...single..thing that someone rightminded who has been on such a tight budget now this month and last that my wife and I have gone days without food just to make sure our son does NOT GO WITHOUT! But we are actually starving eating crackers and jelly from Wawa...cause they are free... Would anyone like to respond to this beautiful statement of horror that I've had to dig deep to find the courage for to even being anything to light...because..IM NOT THAT GUY... The guy who gets you back..not vengeful or hateful or threatening..I'm down to 138 lbs and I'm 5'11"...from being..HERE. HELP! To date..we have put $17, 787.00 into being here..with the only service we get is coming from ourselves..i will give credit to 3 certain employees who deserve it..but I'm also not going to publicize thier names or positions..but they are out ONLY salvation!

Red Roof Inn hotel reservation at rri202

I used Hotels.com to book a reservation at this Red Roof inn in Minneapolis which I paid for in advance on their site and received confirmation of it. Then the next day I received a letter of cancellation for the room that I was told I requested.

I followed up with the Hotel directly who told me that my credit card was declined. I explained that I had made the reservation through Hotels.com and paid there so there should be no charge.

I got a very rude response that it doesn't matter where I book they are going to charge my card as well. What type of scam is this? I will be filing a complaint with the attorney general for this attempted fraudulent charge if not resolved

Almost lost our lives! They knocked on our door asking if we were interested in buying drugs. I did not open the door; told them to go away. Called the office. Told sunny what had just happened ; and that we were not going to put up with this. Sunny was asked to come to the room. Sunny was not watching the cameras. Cameras probably do not even work ; up for show & tell. Wanted a description of the guys that were trying to get us to open the door. Believe this is sunny job ; not ours. Sunny did not even try to find out who was messing with us! Fire alarm had toilet paper stuffed in it & door had to be fixed before. So this obviously has happened before. Heaven knows how many times. We will never stay at a red roof inn again! So then sunny went to office to call the main manager (who looks just like sunny). While we were waiting for sunny to return back to our room they approached our room again a second time only this time they were trying to kick the door down. So I yelled I am calling the police ; and I did just that! So we called the tulsa police & they were familiar with this red roof in airport 35 n. Sheridan in tulsa oklahoma location! This location is a death trap! We went back the next day cause we were told we would receive a full refund by the main manager. Think they are in on what is going on at this location cause they did not even look at the videos & this was at 1:00 in the afternoon. Main manager admitted to my husband & I & my sister that he had not looked at the video. Already had made up his pathetic mind about what he had planned to do which was nothing! Guess they are waiting for some one to die before they will get police security for there premises. They trick the customers by using the red roof inn airport logo at 35 n. Sheridan in tulsa oklahoma! While we unloading the car we saw 4 drug transactions. No shame in their game! This location is known for drug & gang related with prostitutes! Also need to know that I have called customer relations 4 times about this location and still have not received a proper response : which is a full refund with our deposit. We were only there for 30 minutes. Please be safe! And avoid this location!

Red Roof Inn rooms service

My room has been filthy my whole stay. My name is leon Coakley I checked in to Parsippany nj on july 21 until August 6 2018.
Room service doesn't come until after 5pm when they do come. July 27 the did nothing at all . July 28 I ask for the bedding to be changed, they just put the sheets and towels on the bed I guess I'm suppose to change them my self and the towels on the rack my self. July 29 old sheet are still in the room I called the manger at 6pm she put me on hold and then said she would call me back any never did. I have stayed with this company for many year but I'm finished. I will go to Laqunta leon Coakley [protected]

Red Roof Inn dirty bedding / dirty shower

Requesting a full refund due to poor service from management in concern to have clean bedding/bathroom from the start of my stay. Pictures are attached. I asked to speak with management at 7am and I was told she was busy and she would call me. At 11:45am I called the location and I was again told that the manager was busy and she would call me back. I then went back to the hotel around 2pm and she was still busy. Around 4pm I stopped at the office to speak to the manager and I was told she was coming. After waiting almost 30 minutes she came out, only because a emergency responded showed to speak with her. She walked over and stated that they were short of staff and there were only two people cleaning rooms. The manager insured me that my bedding would be changed, she stated she was not sure an exact time but she would make sure it was done. When O arrived back to my room at approximately 1am, there was not any change that took place with my bedding. I went downstairs to the desk to speak with the gentleman there. I explained to him the situation and the process in which I took on the attempt to get the situation resolved. The guy got up looked in a book and then stated " this is odd it says here that someone changed the sheets and it was taken care of". He stated that he could not leave the front desk to come check the room for me but he could only give me bedding and I would have to change them myself because he was the only person working. I was then given bedding to change my own sheets by the night worker. He never stated that it was written that I refused service or anything of the sort which management tried to pull in order to attempt to cover the horrible service. Never was it offered for me to switch rooms due to the inconvenience.

This morning upon checking out I asked to speak with the manager once again. I explained to her that no one ever came in to clean the room and I explained to her the actions taken with the overnight agent. The manager Evelyn or Irene ( black lady with natural puffy hair) stated that she would have to contact the assistant manager because she wrote that she cleaned the room personally. As a manager in customer service myself, if a customer is asking a manager to verify something for clarity and things of the sort, there should always be time to help that customer. I feel that this was one of the worst and most uncomfortable experiences I have ever had with Red Roof Inn. I do not wish to speak with the manager from the Beaumont, TX location but I would love to speak with someone from the corperate office. To tell a customer that they are the ones that caused the situation and say you're not going to help them is unacceptable and training in customer service should take place at that location.

Requesting a full refund due to poor service from management in concern to have clean bedding/bathroom from the start of my stay. Pictures are attached. I asked to speak with management at 7am and I was told she was busy and she would call me. At 11:45am I called the location and I was again told that the manager was busy and she would call me back. I then went back to the hotel around 2pm and she was still busy. Around 4pm I stopped at the office to speak to the manager and I was told she was coming. After waiting almost 30 minutes she came out, only because a emergency responded showed to speak with her. She walked over and stated that they were short of staff and there were only two people cleaning rooms. The manager insured me that my bedding would be changed, she stated she was not sure an exact time but she would make sure it was done. When O arrived back to my room at approximately 1am, there was not any change that took place with my bedding. I went downstairs to the desk to speak with the gentleman there. I explained to him the situation and the process in which I took on the attempt to get the situation resolved. The guy got up looked in a book and then stated " this is odd it says here that someone changed the sheets and it was taken care of". He stated that he could not leave the front desk to come check the room for me but he could only give me bedding and I would have to change them myself because he was the only person working. I was then given bedding to change my own sheets by the night worker. He never stated that it was written that I refused service or anything of the sort which management tried to pull in order to attempt to cover the horrible service. Never was it offered for me to switch rooms due to the inconvenience.

This morning upon checking out I asked to speak with the manager once again. I explained to her that no one ever came in to clean the room and I explained to her the actions taken with the overnight agent. Red Roof Inn my experience/recent stay

The suite I stayed in was dirty. Cabinets falling a part, bathroom ceiling peeling downward, toilet paper dispenser and soap dish in the bathroom coming away from the wall. The kitchen sink has caked up [censored] and the sink by the door stopped up. Not mention when I grabbed a towel to dry off, long hair was on the inside of it and the towel that was left on the edge of the tub. It was just filthy. It's no wonder my allergies were haywire. Parking space not available, because huge vehicles are allowed to park side ways taking up 3 or more spaces close to the entrance. Why ask for a tag number during registration if you can't call the rooms at night to inform the guests of any issues with vehicles/parking? Staff member, no help. I have pictures. No offered any kind of resolve. Very disappointed.

Red Roof Inn red roof inn mansfield ma

Hi my name is Amy Flanders I have been having some housing issues and I have been staying at the red roof and other hotels in the area. Due to the concert venue near the Mansfield location I have to move to another hotel close by after I was checked out of the room I was notified that I wasn't allowed back there due to the maids found something on the lines of a drug paraphernalia which I have never done drugs in my life nor has my husband who is sick with cancer in the room I was in. I am mortified that after all the time and money I have spent at the hotel that I can't go back there. I have my 16 year old son with me full time and I am no way a drug addicted I go to work everyday and try to support my family and keep a roof over their heads. I am very concerned that the rooms are not getting completely cleaned before someone else is renting them which the manager of the hotel told me it's my responsibility to check under the beds and make sure the rooms are cleaned sufficiently I as a customer should not have to check under beds

Red Roof Inn lincoln nebraska site

I was put in room 305, I looked at it and left the room ASAP! There was black mold on the outside wall and peeling paint falling on the floor! I went back to desk and was given 225, I looked it over and black mold on the outside wall but not as extreme. The toilet ran almost constantly, the window screen was shredded!
Third floor hall at the end has a bad water leak with the carpet soaked bad enuf to splash in it, second floor ceiling tiles were soaked and sagging and water running down the wall, carpet soaked. First floor has water running down the wall also.
I told the desk person, a guy, and he kind of laughed it off and said he would have maintenance take care of it, nothing was done! The day I left, I told the desk person, a girl, and she also laughed it off and said it happens here a lot. Unfortunately I paid for two nights and stayed those nights. In the main lobby there are large water stains on the ceiling that haven't been fixed.
Someone really needs to inspect the entire building as in sure those rooms are unhealthy, but to make a buck, they get rented out!
I was there July 17&18 and will NEVER return to that place. I have stayed in other Redroof inns this month and they have been great! The location in Mesa Arizona was so good that I doubled my stay time.

Hopefully you look into this and don't just blow me off as a disgruntled visitor. I am newly retired and plan on more traveling, but I hope I never run into a place like that again, disgusting building that needs major attention!

Red Roof Inn customer service / maid service

I was left by a friend an envelope at front desk the night before I checked. When I was checking out of my room I asked for the envelope and they were not going to because they open my personal envelope and seen it was money said it was deposit which is not true because I paid with credit card. The maid service was terrible I stayed for four nights and they never change the bedding or took out the garbage we had to take out our selves. The hot tub looked like old dish water it was brown and scummy

Red Roof Inn refuse to give me a refund

I booked a reservation to stay 1 night at London, KY, I-75 on June 29, 2018, with Booking.com. I canceled the morning of-of which it was listed as FREE CANCELATION.
After 4 phone calls to Booking.com and the Red Roof, I still have not received my refund. They assured Booking.com they would refund on June 9, again on June 12 and today is June 19th and I still have not received it. They refuse to send confirmation of the credit. I will call again today and then call my bank and KY BBB and post on every social media site I can find, what terrible customer service I have received from both Red Roof and Booking.com. Ridiculous

Red Roof Inn re: confirmation no: [protected]/ unauthorized credit card charged

I am writing to advise you of the horrendous treatment I received by one of your employees when I attempted to check into your hotel in Virginia Beach. When I attempted to check in around 1:45pm-2:00pm the front desk employee first advised me that she could not locate my reservation and that the hotel was fully booked. After I advised her that I had a reservation number and I proceed to show her my print out of my reservation which I made with Booking.com; she advised me to come back that hotel was totally booked and there were no rooms available, that I should return at 4. I advised her that my husband and I had just traveled 8 hours and we were exhausted and it was only 1 in the afternoon and we could not wait around for three hours. Not once this front desk person offer to take our luggage and hold them or made any attempts to assist us or mitigate the situation. My husband and I were forced to walk with all our luggages and check into another hotel costing over $300.00. The service of this front desk person was appalling.
Once we return from our trip, we notice that Red Roof Inn had charged us a fee for not check in. I am in disbelief as to why we are charged when your representative advised us that there you were fully booked and had no rooms available. To add further insult to injury upon calling the manager of this particular Red Roof Inn, the front desk person who rudely greeted us answered the phone and hung up on me. I can't not full express my amazement at the egregious behavior of this employee that you have as the face of this company.
Needless to say, I want a full refund of the amount that I am disputing of $ 178.69 on my account. The amount is grossly inaccurate because at the time of check-in at around 1:45pm-2:00pm I went to the Red Roof Inn, 196 Ballard Court, Virginia Beach, VA 23462 that I made a reservation for and was told that there were no rooms available and to try back around 4:00pm. So at that time we had no other choices then to get another room at another location where I spent $370.08 for the two nights. I am requesting that you correct this grave injustice and reverse the charges related to the disputed amount.
Enclosed are copies of supporting my position. Please investigate this matter immediately.

Red Roof Inn red roof inn six flags

I rented a room at red roof inn six flags, thinking it would be a nice place being it is 5 minutes from the park. Yeah, well inwas wrong. So, when I got there on June 25, 2018 to check in for my 4 days, there was prostitutes and drug dealers everywhere. The signs in The office was they were working with the Fulton county police to stop the prostitution, that is a joke. The manager doesn't do anything about it, or anything to that fact. It took me like an hour to check in, but I did. Then I had to use the restroom and had no toliet paper, I was berated for a roll of toilet paper, what is your name, what room you in, when did you check in, all just for a roll of toilet paper. Then I needed another towel oh yeah that was a waiting game, but I do have to say the little guy was a very nice guy and he got me a towel when he could. Then I swear a light bulb blew, it was the only one in the room, thank gawd my hubs had one in the car, cuz I asked the desk clerk for one, he said we (customers, not just me) were making him nuts and he was gonna kick us all out. Really nice. This hotel was the absolute worst. They cancelled my reservation that I had made also, sent me a email saying I cancelled it, yeah that didn't happen, wish it would have though. Ugh this place is not a place to rent at all. I can not believe red roof hangs a shingle on this place. The halls smelled like weed, ppl in and out buying drugs. It is pathetic. So, i call the customer service right, hahaha that was a joke. As i am talking to her she tells me I am on the do not rent to again list. Now, into not understand that. I was quiet, courteous, unlike their workers or the thing that is the manager. I got angry about that, not to rent to me again, But hey I was looking at your reviews from all over and this is not a hotel chain that needs me money or me to stay in another one. You need to step up your game red roof cuz you suck. So I will never ever look at a red roof again, this is really bad. You should be a shamed of yourself. But I know you aren't. Continue to rent to the dregs on society cuz I will never darken another door of this place, even if it was the last place on earth. Gross !

Red Roof Inn hotel stay @ 1 east i-65 service road mobile, alabama 36606

So my husband and I pulled off the highway to get a room and get some rest before continuing on our trip. The attendant on duty was very friendly and helpful. We check in go to our room where it's as hot inside as it is outside. The ac Was off so we had to wait almost two hours to go to sleep because it was so hot in the room. As we continue walking in the room there is mold on the bed and floor. There are white stains on the carpet, stuff on the walls, and the beds were horrible and the pillows were flat. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I will never stay in this location ever again. Below I posted photos I am however missing the photo of all the mold in the bathroom I have sle lupus which is a auto immune disorder and I'm hoping to god I don't get sick our reservation was under Wesley story our confirmation number was [protected] I really would like a refund for my stay as this is not a healthy place to stay

Red Roof Inn dirtiest, nastiest hotel ever

We recently stayed at the Red Roof Inn Lancaster-Strasburg for approximately 2 hours on June 29th from 2:30 to roughly 4:30. The reason for our short stay was because upon arrival at the hotel there were cats coming in and out of the rooms and sitting in the windows as well as people loitering around the rooms passing cigarettes around. It seemed like a commune. After taking our stuff to our room we laid on the bed to relax for about 20 minutes before we left to go shopping. While we were out we noticed 3 of the 4 family members had some type of bites on their backs. Obviously it was bed bugs or fleas from the cats.

There is no way I was going to let my family stay at this nasty establishment. The beds definitely had bed bugs o fleas. We decided we were not going to stay there so I called and told them that we had to leave and went back to get our stuff and explain to them why we were leaving and they said there was nothing they could do! they said we needed to give a 24 hour notice and that we were the ones choosing to leave so we don't get a refund! We left and had to go find another hotel and pay another $200 so we could stay and enjoy our mini vacation in Lancaster.

After arriving home we noticed another $103 charge on our card. I called to inquire about it and they said it was a mistake and they would refund it. So I explained to them again about how nasty the place was and about the cats running around, to which they said this was a family owned hotel and that they could have cats if they wanted. As of today we have not heard from Pat, the manager which we sent several emails to nor have we received a refund for the $207 which we paid for our 2 hour stay, which I think we are entitled to under these circumstances!

I would hope that you could please look into this and see that it is taken care of. I feel that we should be reimbursed for this because of the unclean environment that was provided. The website looks nothing like the surroundings of the hotel or what the rooms are really like. It is not fair to the people that book online.

Red Roof Inn bed bugs and dirty rooms

This past weekend my family and I traveled to the Red Roof in Maryland and were extremely disgusted. Upon entering out room it was clear that it was unclean. as there were dead bugs in the corners of the floor and dirty clothes under the bed. there were no mattress covers on the bed and we found a few actual bed bugs! Immediately after we spoke to the woman who checked us in and she admitted to having knowledge of the bed bug issue. I'm astonished as to how the employees and management of this hotel can allow guests to be in rooms such as that. Wanting to just get out of there I was given issues about receiving a refund because there was no manager. There should always be some kind of management available. After calling red roof directly I finally received it but the entire situation was irritating and upsetting after a long 7 hour car ride that was not what I wanted to be dealing with. That will be my first and last time with Red Roof.
I have no desirable resolution for myself but I would hope as a company you can fix this for your future clients.

Red Roof Inn unauthorized credit card charges

in may 2018 i made reservation at red rood inn bossier city cancelled in timely manner was told by red roof it was cancelled and would not be charged to me

however it appeared on my credit card which i am disputing case id [protected]

this was done thru priceline priceling contacted red roof while i was on phone and was told it had been cancelled with no pending charges

red roof needs to take care of this immediately i am widow on SS was moving and need place to stay however something else came up and i could not move at that time

Red Roof Inn room I booked from 07/06/2018 through 07/08/2018

I had two weddings to attend Friday 7/6/18 and Saturday 7/7/18 and have a checkout day of Sunday 7/8/18. From my very first hour there I was electrically shocked trying to do my hair with their cracked hairdryer (photos attached) maintenance had to come and remove it from the wall for my safety. The toilet had to be repaired many times, and is still broken when i checked out, the dresser is broken and everything was OVER dirty. I ended up getting a different room in the middle of the night and using it to shower and toilet. I ended up paying for two rooms and one of them was being repaired the whole time. I am requesting a full refund of room 320 in the amount of $159.60 and a partial refund of room 319 that I was forced to move into at midnight due to the conditions of room 320 in the amount of $58.55. And ontop of all this I was charged TWICE for room 319 (bank statement screenshot attached) I find that to be a fair reimbursement for the difficulty I was subjected too during my stay there. Total amount that I believe I'm entitled too is $333.75. That includes the DOUBLE charge to my bank account. Kindly review all my documents plus statement and contact me as soon as possible to let me know about my resolution. Thank you.

Red Roof Inn bad customer service

June 21-22 2018 want refund!
I'm from Montreal and I booked the wrong date at 8:00pm for the day I booked it. I wanted to change it to the Friday. I called PriceLine the booking agent I went through the same day as booking for the following day. They called the hotel and no one answered.. I called them back the next morning. They called the hotel and the hotel said no because of policy. So I called the hotel and told them my story. The girl I spoke to said they would call me back with booking which she never did. I called again and a woman named Jennifer said she couldn't do anything and to call back for the manager. I called a 3rd time and spoke to the manager Patel. All I wanted was to switched the date, he doesn't lose anything and I don't lose anything. He was rude, kept cutting me off and lied that I or Priceline ever called them earlier and that it was my credit card and not mine that was used.. The worst customer service ever and I wouldn't recommend Red Roof Inn to anybody and I've been posting on how bad I was mistreated for a small thing that could be easily fixed.. You wonder why other countries dislike the United States.

Red Roof Inn customer service

I am staying at Red Roof Inn in Mt. Pleasant, SC Patriots Point. My reservation was 6/25/2019 (Monday) until 6/29/2108 (Thursday). On 6/26/2018 (Tuesday) at ~ 1045 I noticed black/brown bugs on my white bed linen. I photographed the bugs and called the office by dialing zero. A maintenance person came to my room and witnessed the bugs. The manager called and requested I come to the office to get a key to move to another room. I showed her the photos of the bugs. I was in the process of moving from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor (no elevator only stairs). It is almost 100 degrees today in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The temp is in the 90s. I have migraines. It takes me about 1 hour to move my pet and what I brought (heavy laptops for example). The manager called and spoke to me disrespectfully and rudely about why was it taking me so long to move, that check out was 1100. I wasn't checking out; I was moving because there were bugs in my bed linen. No one offered to help me. I believe I should have been given the time I needed (taken into consideration the 90 degree heat, stairs, and my migraines) to move because of bugs in my bed and not spoken to in a rude or disrespectful manner about any time it took me to move. I am presently searching for another hotel to move to. My husband and I are well traveled, and I believe the customer service was very poor. When I stayed at a hotel in California and had to move room because of a plumbing issue, the staff helped me move by grabbing heavy bags.

What? You worried about me checking the spelling in the complaint I am about send you? After reading prior complaints...seems to me that CORPORATE RED ROOF INN would use what little energy they posses towards righting the wrongs their customers experienced at the hands of Red Roof employees...basis of complaints seem to be the same ones...RUDE EMPLOYEES...NASTY ROOMS...REFUSAL OF REFUNDS just in different locations...( customers, who are responsible for those over paid employees getting a paycheck...because without customers...WHAT'S THE POINT OF RED ROOF'S existence?) Since it seems CORPORATE could care less about their reputation or the satisfaction of their customers...looks like I have a little work to do...let's see like calling the HEALTH BOARDS & TV STATIONS in the area of where each complaints generated from. We give you our money in good faith...expectations of a clean room and courteous customer service and in return you think you can get away with the wrong, wrong, oh so wrong practices that Red Roof embraces. If nothing else...I will get peace of mind knowing I placed upon Red Roof the frustration I endured by them. Plus I get the satisfaction of knowing I may have saved someone from choosing RED ROOF as their hotel to stay at. Everyone loves a good EXPOSE'.
