I had a claim against me for an accident that my son had with my car. I contacted the insurance company and took full responsibility for the claim. The Farmers Insurance company placed my account with a collection agency; I arranged to pay $100.00 a month to pay off the approximately $2000.00 debt. The amount was agreed to and I began making payments. Between the 3rd and 4th payment the account was transferred to the above company. I was contacted by them and attempted to make the same arangements as with the previous company. I was told that the amount was too little ( it was what I could afford) and from that point on I received constant phone calls. As I tried to arrange a payment plan that fit into my budget. I was harrassed daily, when I took the calls and conversed with the representative assigned to me, I was spoken to at first rudely, and then the representative called me names using foul language, He also threatened to have my drivers liscence suspended, and submittted a request to my state DMV. Any time I took a call from the represenative, I was treated in this manner. I have since stopped taking calls from the company. The company continued to leave vulgar messages on my answering service. I have drafted a letter requesting them to stop contacting me by telephone, and to only contact me by letter. I have put in writing my repayment terms, and have sent the letter to RP by registered mail; and am sending a copy of the letter to the CEO of the Farmers Insurance Company, and am loging a complaint through your website.

They are very rude. I went through the same type of harassment with these guys. But they eventually sent the paper work for suspension and 3 years later im paying for it. They do have the ability to have your license suspened and plates. It will cost more money and time when it happens too.

It is the first time Recovery Partners, LL C. contact me.The person who spoke to me star speaking rude and intimidating me by calling DMV, to suspend my drivers license. The agent didn't give me the chance to set a pay arrangement he only told me he suspend my driver license for now until I make my payment which is only $402.01 total and he hang up.I call the company to try to make a payment arrangement and the person who answer me, try to make a payment arrangements for 158.0 for 4 moths and I said I will do a payment for 100.00 for 4 moths. She star treat me so rude and she said you spoke to some body already and she raise her voice and she said call to your agent on Monday I just took your call and you are not even my claim.

Recovery Partners threatened to suspend my license (FDCPA violation), contacted my family without my permission and released personal debt and debtor information (also FDCPA violation), they have open court cases in every state they operate, they have complaints against them in the state of Arizona. Don't let the website fool you. They are operating illegally and its only a matter of time before they are out of business. If i were you, i would have my debt transferred to a more reputable company or you may find out that the money you pay them may not even go towards your debt.

I was wondering if anyone who has been threatened by recovery partners has had their license suspended? What did you do? I'm about to pay them 2000 so I can make a payment plan but I found this page and I just curious as if did they really suspended your licenses?!

I get the same treatment from RP Solutions. They also keep raising my amout I owe each time i call in for my account balance. The representative (Tom Murphy) made a settlement with me for an agreed amount and he changes it every time I speak with him. I had to put a stop payment through my bank because he drained my bank account twice and then yelled at me rudely when i told him that the insane amount he was taking was not affordable in my budget. He threatened my license as well as the previous owner of my vehicles license. When I asked him if he was registered with the better business bueau he yelled at me for threatening the validity of the company and said if I wanted to make this hard he would take the settlement agreement off of my account and raise the amount.
