I believe recordgone is a big scam. I paid up front for their service to get them to expunge a previous infraction. It took them months to even acknowledge me and then the only thing they ever said to me after I input all my information to their website was my case was denied. Then they asked me if I would pay them more money to re-file. When I asked why my case was denied they told me they did not get any reason from the judge. They offered no proof to me that they even filed such as copies of court records which should come to the person they are representing. I believe I paid over $500 for nothing. Now I cannot even log-in to their website as a client as if I never existed. I thought they were a trusted company based on some reviews I looked up. However, after doing more research I am thinking their reviews are fraudulent because all their reviewers have left only one review and they all have the same type of name when leaving a review. If you go on to TrustLink and look you will see every reviewer leaves a 5 star review and they are all leave their name as First name and Last initial. For example from TrustLink all the names look like this (Brenda M., Reggie R., Stephen M., Dustin S.) even the people on THIS website that say recordgone is a reputable business have this same name combination very fishy if you ask me. If they try and say that I am not an actual customer and refute this I have e-mails to back-up my story which I will be happy to post. This law firm has a great blue print for production and fantastic customer service. I was always in the loop through the online service and all other communications were promptly and professionally responded to rather quickly. The price was fair for the amount of work and communications made. You won't go wrong deciding to work with this firm!
I was looking at using this company after taking their so called online test. This "test" told me I was eligible so I gave them a call. The person who is supposed to know the law couldn't even tell me what class felony that felony failure to appear was. Told me to call county clerk's office. It's common knowledge it's a class D and you have to wait 12 years in Nevada. If I paid them I would've have been out 800 because they would have been stupid enough to go to court with this. May as well let a first yr law student handle your affairs as to allow these [censored]es do it. But then who knows maybe you'll get lucky.

I have never used recordgone.com due to the about post written by THIENE L somebody from the fraud company recordgone went and tried to undo a negative review about their company being fraudulent by acting like the guy who wrote the bad review named "THIENE L" wrote a fake review stating he was wrong! If you noticed the follow up comment is written by "thienele" and not the original author "THIENE L" if he truly followed up and changed his mind about his review it would be from the same username. I'm 100% convinced these positive reviews are written by people employed at recordgone.com! It is this company that should have criminal charges for theft for stealing from people who are gullible and pay for their services. I knew this had SCAM written all over it! If you see a follow up to this comment stating otherwise know it was somebody at recordgone.com trying to cover it up! It is recordgone.com who should be seeking to have their theft background expunged! Somebody needs to shut them down ASAP Beware! BEWARE BEWARE!
Let me recall my previos Review for THIEN L. I was over looked the court file was stamped on April 21st and issue date was May 2nd. Recordgone.com wasn't lying. But too bad my record was denied.
Why is your user name different from your user name in your 1st post? Fishy? Different person?
October 30 2013, I decided to hire recordgone.com to do my expungement. After payments has been made, I received their message stated I had to wait for the court to reopen my case to be able to do the expungement. After numerous messages and emails stated that "I called clerk of the court. There is no ruling on your case yet. We will be following again up coming week" it took them 7 months and the last message was on April 30th 2014 saying the samething "I called clerk of the court. There is no ruling on your case yet. We will be following again up coming week". Finally fI got frustrated of waiting and for them saying the samething for the past 7 months, so I emailed them to ask for refund if they unable to get my record expunge. As soon as I emailed them they replied back said that they were unabled to get my record expunge, court denied and they sent me copy of denied letter. Guess what the denial was dated April 21st 2014 but on April 30th 2014 they stilll sending message "I called clerk of the court. There is no ruling on your case yet. We will be following again up coming week". This showing that this law firm is a liar! They only agreed to give me 50% refund minus $120 filing fee, which only left $317.50 but I paid them total of $995.
My record was expunged fast. The staff was very professional and courteous. Their online case management system is so convenient and makes it very easy to see what you need to complete and you can check on the status of our case at any time. I am very satisfied with the results and would recommend this firm to anyone seeking legal help.
My experiences with RecordGone.com were bad. I was trying to get an arrest record from way back in 1970 expunged. There was no conviction or indictment but it occasionally caused problems. Canada used it to deny travel over there. The Census Bureau used it to hold up employment. These clowns with RecordGone.com could not even find the records needed to prepare the case. I was told that they could not help me and no one else could if they could not get legal records from a certain court that said they could not find them. I quickly lost confidence in the company and demanded a refund. But they insisted on retaining $200.
I later submitted a request to Dallas Police Department Open Records for an arrest report, an offense report, and a prosecution report using the case number that appeared on the FBI and Texas Department of Public Safety reports. The prosecution report had extremely crucial information about the case.
After doing some research I prepared and filed a petition for expunction with no assistance from attorneys. I WON the case. The DA's office did not even contest it.
These clowns with RecordGone.com were extremely negligent in limiting their search for records to the courts and just a specific court. The expungement could and should have been done earlier but these clowns never attempted to get information from Dallas Police Department Open Records.
They will have you fill out online forms instead of actually meeting with you in person but still charge you the "face time" fees. Then they stated my expungement was denied, no explanation, no invitation to the court hearing, nothing! The court could not even find my petition, it was never filed, recordgone is fraudulent.
I was also cheated by recordgone and have found several other clients who have been scammed as well. They are incompetet and fraudelent. Consumer please beware.
I totally disagree with this complaint. First of all I believe that this in one of their competitors who wrote this nasty review. How do I know this? Well I used recorgone.com to expunge my long forgotten felony, and not only that they helped my case but they did it in no time.
But in case this was a real person that wrote this complaint I will respond to the complaint.
Firstly, I could understand why someone would be upset if this happened to them. The only things they are blaming a wrong company. Everyone should know that no one can guarantee you that your record will be expunged 100%. There could be hundreds of reasons why the judge doesn't want to approve someone's case and this is something most people should be well aware before they even consider expungement. It might also be something that they withheld from their lawyer and that came up later on, or if just might be the case itself. In any case recordgone.com is not to blame.
Simple fact that they are nation's leading criminal record clearing law firm will prove you that they are not scam in any way. If anything they are the right company for you!
