Real Canadian Superstore yogurt poor quality

I purchased 4L yogurt from superstore Regina east . The expiry date on the product is November 06, 2017. And today is November 01, 2017. I saw lots of fungus growth in my product. This is not first time happening. Everytime I get to face this problem, that the fungus start growing on the product before expiry date. I'm writing today because this is very frustrating and Somebody should take it seriously. As I'm spending $15 and I can not use it till the end is very aweful.
Please reply me if anything comes up. I Have taken some pictures as well for the product
Thanks

Real Canadian Superstore small tomato and bocconcini salad

I purchased this salad on October 31st. The expiry of the salad is November 2nd. Well eating this salad for my dinner this evening I found a dead fly in it when I was about halfway through. I often buy from the salad section at my local store and now I have serious concerns about the cleanliness and attention to detail when the salads are put together. I understand that bugs get into lettuce sometimes however this fly was sitting on the top of the lettuce pile as seen in the picture (there was cucumber on top of this that I had eaten before the discovery) and should have been caught by the person packing the salad. I now have had to throw my dinner out and go buy a new one. I am disgusted by this find and would like to know what will be done to prevent this from happening in the future. I also would like some form of reimbursement for the salad I purchased and didn't get to eat as well as the second dinner I had to buy because of this. I have attached pictures of my receipt, the salad and the UPC sticker. I look forward to hearing from you.

Real Canadian Superstore in store awful experience

I'm not sure if this is the right contact email to do this at, but this is the only email I could find. I was just at your kelowna, bc superstore location today and had one of the worst service experiences ever. I understand the store is moving things around, but it's honestly no excuse for the awful service I received. It's hard to find ANYTHJNG because everything is moved around and separated! So after searching isle for isle for one iten after the next, with no luck finding much, I then was in search of a SINGLE employee which was incredibly hard to find unless it was someone on a till... finally after finding someone they didn't know where anything was either and they sent me down an isle that seemed to be just far enough away from them and had nothing to do with said product that I was looking for. On the hunt again for another employee who hopefully knew something after wandering around for another five minutes I had to chase another employee down who seemed to be ignoring my calls for help. Finally getting him to stop he seemed to do the same thing to me, sending me down an isle far away from him with nothing to do with said product yet again. This happened YET ANOTHER TIME! This time the employee said, "I don't know, I can't help you" AND ACTUALLY STARTED TO WALK AWAY FROM ME. I had to chase him down and get him to find someone who could help me if he couldn't. He goes up to customer service says something and comes back to me and tells me someone will be with me. There I stood for TEN MORE MINUTES no one came to help me, I feel like again I was brushed off. Finally another employee came down the isle to help someone else and upon me flagging her down and telling me what I've gone through to look for my product she tell me right away, "it's sold out and has been for a while". FINALLY, 30 minutes later, I get a response.

This is UNECCEPTABLE! There's no excuses! No one should go through anything like this at your stores EVER! Superstore was always my staple grocery store, after this experience I don't know if it will ever be worth my time to go back into this incredibly poorly ran, poorly trained, rude employee ridden place.

Real Canadian Superstore spoiled seafood

Spoiled cod fish with worm in it.
On Oct 27th of Oct, 2017 I bought a pack of cod fish for price of $23.85 from store located in 3000 Lougheed Hwy Coquitlam BC. Surprisingly notice a very spoiled odor .
When I have carefully checked there were few worms it that unopened package were moving.

I took it back and warn to store manager to remove all Cod fishes from the refrigerator shelf for the matter of public health.

Superstore top management has to be concern about such negligent store supervision. Nothing is important of public health especially on fresh fishes that are most volatile items is store shelves.
Send me an e-mail if further information may need: [protected]@yahoo.com

Real Canadian Superstore product/service

I just came back (October 24) @4:30pm from the Superstore at #10 15915 MacLeod Trail SE, Calgary, very frustrated.

I went through the self check out and my item Mark Anthony Curling moose, showed as regular price. It was definitely in a big bin by the pharmacy, with a huge sign saying $6.99. It came up at $10.34. I have bought this product on sale for that price before. The lady at the check out, asked for a price check, it took 3 minutes before a young girl came and I asked if she knew where it was. She said yes, and left walking slowly...She left and came back 4 minutes later with the $10.34 price. I told her it was in a bin on the left of the pharmacy. She said oh, in a bin?! She asked if she should go check again..I'm impatiently waiting as I say yes, and she again, very slowly goes to check. Meanwhile I asked the cashier a few questions and all she could say is "I don't know"?! :( and just keeps smiling...

The young girl called the cashier's phone and said that they were definitely in that bin, but in the wrong bin where they should not be. The $6.99 was for toothbrushes?! Really? no toothbrushes in there? At that moment, any other place that I shop at would have apologized and given me that price, of $6.99 as it was definitely their mistake! The cashier said, you don't want it? I said no, not for that price. She took it off the screen and that was it.

I spoke to the young girl after, who is so shy that she can barely make eye contact, and asked her if she was reporting this to customer service to go change it. She said yes.

I wasted about 15 minutes of my precious time for a mistake that the Superstore made. I believe that I should get this product for the price that you advertised by mistake. It's very misleading to the customer as that price is in the biggest numbers you have in the store.

Thanks.

Real Canadian Superstore beef sausages in pork casing

your beef sausages come in pork casing and you advertise as beef sausages.
This is false advertising and must be reported as non of the Jews, Muslims and non pork eaters are aware of it.
It is in fine very small print at the back and not boldly written in front.
This was reported earlier but no action taken.
Why not put in artificial casing like Safeway does it. This must be published in the media so that Canadians are aware of it.
Expecting a reply from the individual looking into the complaints and this is serious for non pork consumers.

Real Canadian Superstore bicycle parking

In the last 6 months I have spoken to 3 different managers at the store on Ryan road, Courtenay.
They have placed a bicycle rack out front that doesn't allow most adult bikes to be locked up secure. The rack looks like it has been hit by a car or something every time that I have spoken to someone they won't even come out and take a look at the problem.
Thanks

Real Canadian Superstore bacon

I am so disappointed with your bacon. It use to be so good. It was thick enough to stay together and the taste and smell was so good. I never bought any other bacon but yours. But, the quality and gone way down and the price has gone way up. It is awful bacon now. As a customer we realize that the prices are always going up, but the quality should still be the same. I am so disappointed. I am now afraid to buy any meat there. If the bacon is that bad, is all the meat the same. It makes me sad that I will be forced to purchase my meat from Miller's meat. The price is a bit higher, but the quality is always there.

Real Canadian Superstore $12.98 charge left on bill - but did not accept substitution for product with click & collect

Hi there,
On October 14th I ordered groceries from the Superstore at 5251 Country Hills Blvd in Calgary. I originally ordered the product "Tex Mex Trail Mix" which cost $4.98. The store did not have this product and offered a substitution for another product - Trail Mix, Raisins, Almonds, Cashews, Cranberries at the cost of $12.98. As this product was more expensive than the original one I told the lady delivering my groceries that I did not want this product. When I got home, I discovered that my bill still had a charge for $12.98 despite telling them we did not want this product. My order number is [protected]. Please have Superstore credit me for $12.98. Thanks, Sarah

Real Canadian Superstore laundry detergent

I bought a box of no name detergent 8.52 kg from Superstore, was price checking another box or the refill bag, as the box was 8.52 for 90 loads or the bag is 12kg with 125loads, as the bag was a better buy, thought I would fill the empty box and have alot left over. I proceed to fill the 8.52 kg with the 12 kg and no such luck the box was just alittle over half full as you can see from my pictures. I feel I have been scammed by Real Canadian Superstore, I should have had alot of extra laundry detergent, by the calucations on the box and the bag, something is quite wrong here,

Real Canadian Superstore expired food!

Good afternoon
I am writing to express my displeasure with your Confederation store in Saskatoon. Last week there was a demo for Dole fruit in the resealable packages. I had wanted to get a few but upon speaking with the demo lady we discovered that not only could she NOT do the demo but I could also not get the fruit I wanted as it was expired. We checked the shelf and to our shock, there was more that was expired. I stopped in again last week and picked up 4 of the fruit cocktail. Upon closer inspection and confusion I took a picture of the expiry date and sent it to Dole. Dole told me that these packages I bought were expired. I returned the product and spoke to a manager who told me that they would be pulled from the shelf and that he would start an investigation into why this was on the shelf again. I stopped in today and to my shock and disgust, once again the product is STILL on the shelf AND expired. Yesterday at your Confederation store I bought a bag of white baby potatoes. I get them home to cook them only to discover they are green. Green potatoes cannnot and should not be ingested as it can cause severe reactions within the body. The only way for them to turn green is to have them exposed to light! Somewhere, somehow this was the case. I also wanted to buy lettuce, ALL of the lettuce had been frozen at one point and is not wilted. I'm starting to wonder if this store is being used as a dumping ground for expired or rotten food. We work very hard for our money and we used to enjoy shopping at that store. Unfortunately this store is a complete disaster with bare and or messy shelves, expired food and generally not clean! The gravy shelf is full of empty boxes. I do have the message and picture of the expired fruit and the potatoes were returned today! This is unacceptable!

Real Canadian Superstore service

I shopped twice this week at Superstore Westboro, Ottawa, Ontario.

A couple of days ago I was given a coupon for 10, 000 points if you went across the aisle to the mobile phone kiosk. Today I was at the store again and asked the cashier to check my points the 10, 000 points were not put on my card.

I told her what had happened and she said I need my receipt. I tried to explain it had nothing to do with a receipt it was a coupon given to me by the cashier.

I check with my friend who was at the store with me and she didn't get her points either.

Please let me know what I can do.

Thanks Joan McGrath

Real Canadian Superstore the way I was treated

I have shopped at Super Store for years. My eye site isn't what it used to be so I have to hold things away from my eyes to see things. Waiting for my glasses to come on order. Anyway. I was looking at what was the best deal on laundry soap and using my calculator on my phone to figure out the best deal. I noticed an employee from the store walk by the end of the Isle a couple of times. Then I went to another Isle to get ziploc bags but I needed a certain size. The print is really small and they put everything in metric and I had a measurement in imperial. I noticed the same employee standing at the end of the Isle peeking around the corner at me. I finally got my bags and went all the way to the far side of the store passing the employee who was standing by at the corner with another employee when I went by her not saying anything to each other. I got to the other side of the store to get the crab meat I wanted and when I turned around who was walking toward me but the same employee. So I just kept walking to go get some nachos and cheese soup, and wouldn't you know it but she was in the same Isle right behind me. So I stopped and waited because I do not like being treated like a criminal and I said to her do you like following me and she turned red and frozen and didn't now what to say. So I went up to the front to the supervisor and he let a front end girl lip me off and tell me that it was a coincidence that she was in the same place that I was in. I got very upset and did use some language that I probably shouldn't have. But when you have some person that doesn't have no authority stick her nose in were it doesn't belong should be fired and some other person follow you around and make you feel like a criminal. I think that these big retail stores better start treating their customers a lot better and ask them if they need a hand with something instead of peaking around a corner and offending them than they might keep customers a lot happier.

Real Canadian Superstore president's choice 345 g compostable coffee pods cash grab

I have been purchasing the largest size package of coffee pods (I think it was 48 or 60? (can't remember) because I can't afford the smaller packages or the name brands to fit my Keurig. If you bought 2 it was $17.98 each. It was the only way I could justify using them, buying a lot at once to save money. I live in a camper in Canada, because my divorce has left me heavily in debt and making a little more than minimum wage.

Now that you have repackaged, selling 30 pods for $14.98 you have taken one of the few pleasures I have, a no-mess way to make an affordable coffee. I don't have a solution to this problem. I'm looking at the name brands to see which one is closest in price, because if I'm going to pay that much, I might as well get the good stuff.

Please let me know if the large packages are still available in some stores.

Real Canadian Superstore passport photo not acceptable by passport office

I was at Real Canadian Superstore on September 11th taking a passport photo for my son for his passport application. I sent his application to passport Canada for the application. Then I got a phone call saying that the photo is not acceptable, so I have to go take new photo and have them courier to Quebec again for the application. This will put me back 20 days for the application, let alone the time and money to do this whole procedure again.

I thought there are guidelines for the photographer to follow when taking passport photos. How can they let me walk out with unacceptable passport photos?

Real Canadian Superstore naturally imperfect bagged peppers

I'm pretty disappointed, I always shop at the real canafian superstore, I bought the bag of peppers friday October 30, 2017, brought it home to make stir fry and to my surprise 4 peppers (2 red and 1 yellow and 1 orange) all looked great from outer flesh but I cut them open and inside was mold, 2 peppers were ok, I have never in my life seen this and was utterly disgusting,

The store Country Village Road NE of Calgary used to sell whole watermelons for about $6.50. For some weeks now, those are not available. Instead, you either get one cut into (each costing about $5) or a little container of 4 slices for the same price. What this means is that you are now making twice the profit on one watermelon. Most annoying, they now cut off the sides of the halves and I believe they add those to the little containers. So one watermelon will be sold as two halves ($5 dollars each), with the sides chopped off to be added to a little container (another $5). Making a neat $15 for one watermelon that should have sold for $6.50. Really disappointed with this conduct. Please ask the store to resume the sale of whole watermelons. Thanks.

Real Canadian Superstore self serve checkout.

At approximately 8pm on Friday September 29th my sister and I were using the self-serve check outs. There was two times we needed to page a worker/attendant to fix something on our check out terminal. Both times we had to wait several minutes. Since the attendant was chatting with co-workers by the customer service desk.

She may be a great worker...once she stays put at the self-check outs.

Normally the service at this Superstore location is great. Its normally friendly, professional and fast. The girl at the self service on this day and time, just needs to monitor them better.

Real Canadian Superstore packaged lettuce

The Real Canadian Superstore located at 411 Louth Street in the City of St. Catharines, Ontario, routinely sells rotten packaged lettuce. This complaint is not specific to a particular name brand, but all lettuce packaged in either plastic bags or containers. I regularly check the expiry date and inspect the packages before I purchase lettuce. However, by the time I get home and open the package, I will notice rotten soggy lettuce hidden within the contents of the package. Nearly all their lettuce sold is about the expire which I find concerning. It's almost unavoidable at this location. There must be an issue with regards to their lettuce storage or temperatures. This rotten lettuce only lasts a day or two in the fridge before it begins to decompose. I believe it to be an infraction to sell rotten food of any kind. Could this issue pleased be addressed?
