Real Canadian Superstore click and collect

I have used click & collect many times without too much difficulty, however I finally noticed that this the me the hold was still on my credit card after the charge went through. I used the same card that I ordered with which the website says should release the hold right away. It has been 4 days business days already. I am now overdrawn on my credit card (it has a small limit) and I am bouncing payments and have been charged $75 so far in fees! I phoned Superstore and was told that because my bank is not one of the major 5, they can't reverse the hold and have to wait for it to expire on its own. They gave me an authorization code to give to my bank to release it and apologized.
I phoned my bank, they said that the merchant has to contact them directly to reverse the hold or wait 10 days for it to release. I phoned superstore back and they told me there was nothing they could do. That they couldn't phone the bank. I could phone and put them on 3-way and they would verify. My phone does not do 3-way. He fought with me and said that was too bad there was nothing he could do. I asked for a manager. She at least spoke English and was in Canada! She tried to tell me that it was normal. I have read the website! No it's not. She argued with me longer and finally agreed to try to phone my bank. What a hassle! Over an hour of my life wasted! I will NOT be using again!

Real Canadian Superstore bakery

I like fresh Jalepino cheese bagel at sunridge calgary... Somehow they stopped making it... I went one day and asked.. Lady said we need go early to buy... Then i went early to buy so lady said they didn't make it today... Nd she said come tomorrow.. I went next day she said not this week come next week... We went next week from the day... Finally another lady sent to me to talk to bakery manager nd he said soon they will start making again within few days... So i will go after month and i will ask about those fresh jalepino bagel again.. Hopefully they r not playing with me

Real Canadian Superstore click and collect

I use click and collect every Tuesday with the same account and same payment information. For some reason today the transaction wouldn't go through (even though this card was used before and after at different retailers without any problem). I understand that mistakes happen and technology occasionally lets us down, but there was not even an apology or attempt to fix the situation. They had me sit and wait for half an hour in the click and collect parking spot before finally telling me that it wasn't going to work. Unfortunately I left without my groceries and over half an hour late for my next appointment. This was so frustrating! The manager was condescending in his tone and couldn't even offer an apology for the lost time and the computer system not working.

Real Canadian Superstore superstore diapers

My family is going through a rough patch so I decided to try superstore diapers which were a lot cheaper. I should have spent the extra $$ to get pampers. My kids are getting bum rashes when they never did before, the diapers are constantly leaking, what kind of diaper can't make it through the night! Worst diapers ever and I can't afford to buy a different brand for two weeks.

Real Canadian Superstore shop steward

I did a $1 refund from the annettes donut i bought coz i was charged $3 but it is on sale for 1.99, i even said good morning before reaching the counter, the name of the lady i spoke to is Ollie.

She called for a price check and i stood at the side waiting for their call back. She attended to another customer when the phone rang and it was confirmed that the donuts are priced as 1.99, i waited for her to finish with the other person. The other girl at the counter even asked if someone already attended to me. As courtesy, i smiled, nodded and pointed to Ollie to say that yes i am being helped.

So to make the long story short, she gave back the amount on my card. I was still putting the donuts back on my shopping bag when she rudely told me"welcome!" And was in a frown. I was surprised coz the whole time i was just quiet. i'm a person who is considerate and doesn't forget to say thank you to those people who helps me. It was not nice of her to say that because what did i do to her to treat me like that?she made me feel like i was rude, when i was just putting the donuts back in my bag. I was suppose to say thank you before l leave.

This is actually the 2nd time i had a bad experience with her. The 1st time, i also did a refund, i forgot to give the $2 off coupon from the cetaphil i bought to the cashier. When i gave it to her along with my receipt, she said about manufacturer refund (?) Im not sure or can't remember her explanation and just gave .50 cents to me. I was left in wonder why she didn't give me $2 back but i don't want to argue with her. I just shrugged it off.

If she's not happy interacting with people, she should work at the back and not at the front desk where helping customers is her main responsibility. I love superstore but she had put a bad light on my shopping experience with you. I was even happily greeted by your cashiers. Then all of a sudden she ruined everything.

I praise Tyler, the guy also working at the customer service. He's the best person to approach. Too bad he wasn't there on those two occasions i had to ask for help. I know those were only small amounts, but those things are what we customers look for when doing our groceries.

I will still go back to superstore coz i like it there but you really have a bad staff attitude with Ollie. Im not reporting to have her reprimanded or something but please remind her what her work is and how to properly treat a customer. I would understand if i was rude or told her something bad, but just because i was still fixing my groceries and i haven't even left yet she assumed that i didn't acknowledge her. 2nd time Ollie. I'm really upset.

Real Canadian Superstore express lane

Good afternoon, I am writing to complain about a situation that has occurred more than a few times now. I understand that you price match with customers who bring in flyers from other stores. May I suggest that price matching NOT be allowed at an express lane. It is very frustrating when customers are holding up the line to price match more than one product in their cart.

Real Canadian Superstore shredded nacho cheese blend pack ([protected])

I would like to draw the attention to the quality of the food being sold in Superstore at the # 1505, McPhillips St. Winnipeg location. While I would normally bring this up with the manufacturer of the food, the item in question is from its own "yellow color-no name" brand, which I believe should be more closely monitored.

Today April 3rd, 2018, we went to Superstore # 1505, McPhillips St. Winnipeg. We were in rush, so we grabbed what we wanted and headed home. While I was cooking, I took the "Shredded nacho cheese blend pack" ([protected]) and checked the expiry date before using it as I couldn't check at the store. Guess what! Expiry date is March 16th, 2018. Superstore was selling expired food at their stores. 19 days after the due amount.

Then my husband ran to the store and informed. He just got it exchanged free and apparently, there was a bunch of expired packs at that time. When he inquired further, he was told by one of the superstore employees that although cheese expired there won't be an issue for health.

This clearly shows that the superstore doesn't value customer's health.

How they risk their customer's health? What If I trust superstore and used cheese without checking expiry date? What if I got sick? Who pays my medical and my bills?

I have attached images of the product which mentioned the expiry date as well as my receipt.

It was such disappointment today.

Real Canadian Superstore president's choice frozen turkey

I bought a 8.2 kg turkey March 28, 2018 at the Superstore in Georgetown Ontario for my Easter dinner today. I put it in the fridge to thaw and took it out this morning to prepare. I opened the netting and the plastic and all the liquid that came out was curdled and the turkey smelled funny, like freezer burn. I am having 10 people for dinner today and none of the stores are open. What am I supposed to do now. I have saved the packaging and the receipt. I am so, so upset, really, what do I do for dinner. I guess they will have to eat bread and the vegetable. I could cry right now. Unbelievable!

Real Canadian Superstore atrocious price

@Superstore in Strathroy, On.
My friend & I we purchase on the Bulk department 'Tarallini Fennel' code #11626- where the price was $41.80 per kilo. We believe it is a mistake calculating, the retail price. The same item in others chain-stores, is approx. $11 per kilo. I called the manager answer: Nothing to do with pricing; I called customer main office answer: they will check .. I really would like to know if was an honest mistake of calculation or is 'normal' price for that store.
Please let us know. Thank you

Real Canadian Superstore vegetables, zucchini

Purchased a zucchini in the Langford, BC, Canada on March 26 th and by Tuesday March 27 th, the vegetable was limp and in edible and had to be disposed of. This is in unacceptable. If fresh vegetables are sold they should last in correct storage conditions more than 1 day.
This is the not the first time that we have experienced this problem at this location. We are unclear if the problem persist in other locations. When a consumer purchases a fresh vegetable the expectation is that they can take the item home and consume it it in a reasonable period. The reasonable period is based on the standard storage conditions commonly detailed in public forums and published materials. If the said vegetable, does not meet the minimum expectations, the consumer is clearly being sold a product that is substandard. This is one more reason the consumer will not chose your store for future purchases. The problem is so easy to fix.

Real Canadian Superstore not enough product

About 2 months ago I had a hard time trying to get coffeemate hazelnut cream. Both supetstore did not have it in stock . I went 2 weeks w/o my favorite cream . I went to superstore twice this weekend Sat &Sun . And now today there is none . As a regular customer I m pretty upset that there is no product (hazelnut) . Now I have to go somewhere else to find my product . When u email me back I will give u my pc optimum # so u can see yourself that it's always on my list . I would hope that I would not need to shop anywhere else for my grocery needs that I get every weekend .

Real Canadian Superstore racism

On my recent visit I noticed that the signs in superstore had English and Chinese but not my mother language. My parents and relatives who are elders are unable to find the things they need because there is no Punjabi written on the signs. Please add the language as my relatives find that it takes too much time that is a waste. It's easy for Asians but not for those who cannot read Chinese or English.

Real Canadian Superstore price matching & coupons

I was told today for the "very 1st time" at RCSS Milton by Ronnie (supervisor) that I cannot price match and use a coupon for the same item?

FYI The price matching was requested against Metro and No Frills offers and the coupons were from the RCSS coupon board and smartsource. ca

Ohhhh... and by the way I was also told that I would need to go to Metro & No Frills to buy those items if I wanted to use the coupons?

Extremely extremely disappointed... but thankfully I am surrounded by other great grocery stores to whom customers matter, and where I was able to conveniently purchase my products and avail my coupons without an issue.

Real Canadian Superstore store at dufferin and steeles

This was a very good store, and was my main supermarket.
Lately it become worst and worst, the products are switch around and there are far less choice then fresco or no frills.

Today there was very little variety at fresh produce, no radicio, no parsley, there was no president choice cheeses like Comte or other French chess...overall very neglected store, at 10 half of produce bins were empty.

The cashier did not help with packing, although was not very busy.

Real Canadian Superstore bad bulk almonds

I purchased almonds from the bulk section from East Superstore in Regina, SK. It happened second times. Within two days it starts smelling bad like old rotten oil. It is not edible. I had to throw out all the nuts. I have lost my receipt. Otherwise I would return it. It costs me around $10 loss. Please check with the supplier. I am a customer of Superstore for six years straight. This is the first time I am making complain about the food quality.

Real Canadian Superstore new design poco store so frustrating

I have been shopping at your store in port coquitlam, bc - lougheed and westwood street for over 20 years. I went in yesterday and it was all moved around shelves were empty some of the isles are double the length some were still short it was like an obstacle course or maze . It is a bad design and almost everyone shopping at the same time as me was saying the same thing. Alot of frustrated and unhappy customers in your store yesterday. March 13/18 And then to top it off there were only 2 cashiers besides the express this was at 530 pm it was busy and lined up. I asked one of your employees who was taking item from a closed til if they had anymore cashiers to put on since it was so busy and lined up and she just said nope and walked away. If i didn't need what i had in my buggy i would have walked out and went else where. Which if this is how it will be from now on i will be changing stores.

Real Canadian Superstore unprofessional staff in sargent avenue, winnipeg, mb

The cashier is a south Indian Asian female staff. Name on the receipt is "Mala" or "Kelly A".
You need to retrain this staff in the "basics of customer service".

I always go to Walmart to do my grocery shopping even though I have a PC card. Since I don't go to the superstores, I have no idea of your "TAP THE CARD FOR POINTS" feature.

Once I reached the cashier counter, this staff told me to tap my card for points. I inserted my PC card in the card machine instead; so my points did not register on her machine. Below is our conversation:
Cashier: "What are you doing? Tap your card! You don't know how to tap your card?"
(Staff and other customers are staring at us at this point while she was humiliating me. She was caught off guard that I retaliated against her statement.)
Me: "Yes, I don't know how to tap! I never do grocery here (superstore), I always go to Walmart."
Cashier: "It is simple to do!" (She took my card then tapped it in the machine.)
Me: "Yes anything is always simple to do if you know what you are doing, Isn't it?"
(The cashier did not reply at this point and never apologized .)

This (Mala/Kelly A) South Indian Asian cashier must be informed that customer service is not about lecturing customers on how to use your products. Instead, her job is to promote and assist customers in using your facilities.

This cashier must be made aware that customers like me have more important things to do in life than know how to "TAP YOUR POINTS" in your machine. She cannot assume that all customers who walk in your store will know your facilities. It's her job to be at our service; not embarrass customers for being unfamiliar with your facilities.

I travel business class whenever I fly out of Canada. I know how to recline a business class seat and activate it massage features. If by some stroke of luck, this cashier travels as my seat mate in my flight and I tell her "What are you doing? You don't know how to ACTIVATE YOUR SEAT MASSAGE feature?" in front of the staff and other passengers. How would she feel about that?

She needs to be trained with the principles of empathy. I want to congratulate her for creating a dissatisfied customer in me. I am sure she will create more disgruntled customer with her type of attitude.

Real Canadian Superstore movie pass I bought as a gift

Bought three gift cards for Christmas gifts...two movie passes and a Sephora card..one of the 25$ movie cards had no money on it when my niece tried to use it(very embarrassing).I would like to have a reply as to how this can be remedied..thanks.Im not sure if the store would have a record of the purchase as I probably won't be able to find it by now

Real Canadian Superstore customer service

Hello,

I bought groceries from Mission BC Superstore location today around 11:00. I was treated very poorly by a cashier name [name removed] or [name removed] on check out 2. She denigrated me from the beginning and was extremely passive aggressive towards me. I did not retaliate as it is not my way to deal with issues. I had a lot to carry in my basket and place it on the conveyor belt and proceeded to take things out and put them on the it. There was no one behind me and in this way their was no great rush. She just kept on moving the conveyor belt as I was struggling to take all of the items out and put them on it in time. She then treated me very callously when it came to me not being able to find my points card. Lastly I was rushing like mad to bag my groceries and get out the way and she she said in a demeaning tone that a couple was waiting to get around me. I was almost done and they had not asked me to move nor had I seen that they were finished as I was in a frenzy to pack my stuff and get out of the way. She was extremely degrading towards me. An absolutely appalling woman and damn right [censor]. Horrible experience NASTY woman.

Real Canadian Superstore manager of heritage valley superstore in edmonton

So I am writing regarding a complaint I have about the lady that manages the heritage valley superstore in edmonton. And I am writing because this has been twice in one week..
First time was because there was a sale on purex laundry detergent so I bought it and upon checkout it came up at regular price, so the cashier called the "manager" over who is a brown skinned lady with long black hair that does not wear a name tag. This lady and I walked back to the isle so I could physically show her the sale... She looked and saw the sale tag there and we were able to corespond it with the item. There was also the regular price tag still there beside it.. This "manager" actually argued with me even though it was right there in front of her. I asked her if she would remove the sale tag if the item was not on sale so that it didn't confuse other customers and her response was "no. Have a nice night" and she actually just turned and walked away leaving the sale price there and it remained there for 2 more days! Apparently she is not knowledgeable with scanning codes of practice and it's extremely unprofessional to walk away from a customer when they are making a reasonable request. Anyways I went to customer service and refunded the item.
Thats not even the scary problem!
So this evening I went back to the superstore as it's across the street from me to get dinner. I paid at the self checkout. I forgot that the credit card I used was unpinned and needed a signature and I put it in the chip reader.
When the transaction was finished the self checkout system asked me to wait for an attendant and I knew it was because they needed my signature for the credit card.. The same "manager" was at the customer service desk and decided she did not want to come over so she did an override on the system!
Are you kidding me? So you aren't going to fulfill your legal obligations because you don't want to talk to your customers! That has to be one of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had. My card needed a signature for anti-fraud prevention and that store manager did not care one bit. I walked up to her with my receipt and asked her for a pen and told her that it was actually her legal obligation to come over to me and collect my signature!
What if that wasn't me who swiped that card? She would have let a fraud transaction go through because of her negligence.
It makes me now concerned to shop there. I will not be going to that store anymore since the "manager" cannot process cards properly and that's actually a very very serious thing! I am actually just dumbfounded by the lack of professionalism.

This is a comment about the superstore on Heritage drive in Calgary Alberta, and just the superstore in general the customer service line and the customer service in the store.

My mom has been shopping there for years I take her at least every two weeks, and each time she spends anywhere between $400 and $600 She saves up her points all year long so that in the summertime she can use her points to purchase plants for her yard. This year she went to cash in her points which usually equal around $300 and they're telling her that she has no points.

It's not just that they are just telling her she has no points they're not willing to investigate why she has no points. We tried calling the 1-877 number and we're told there was nothing they could do so I took my mom to customer service to try and figure out what was going on and Nixon told her that the if she didn't have points she couldn't cash them in my mom tried explaining to him that there's no way she couldn't have any points that over a year she had to have points how can she possibly have a zero balance.

He was extremely rude to my mother who is 80 years old. He proceeded to tell her that not everything you buy gets points and if she had no points that there was nothing he could do, and that if she didn't like it she could shop somewhere else. I was absolutely disgusted by his behavior and the fact that nobody on the so-called customer service line is willing to help her.

Can somebody give me some advice on how to deal with this not just his rudeness but by the that for some reason she has absolutely no points after a year? I am hearing this across the board all these kinds of complaints about customer service and people that are just outright rude that work there. If you are unable to communicate in a professional manner then you shouldn't be working with the public

Perhaps you need a job in a cubicle.
