Spamhaus Blocked communication with clients

Spamhaus is actively blocking, in real-time, ALL my outgoing emails to my business clients for no other apparent reason (as given by the company's website) than a number of false suppositions.
In so doing I am being prevented from conducting my legitimate business.
Spamhaus are unapproachable, all messages that I have tried to send to them on their website have gone unanswered. Their website claims that they cannot provide contact details (phone or email) because of the 'International' nature of their business. My reply to that is B******t!

Desired outcome: Spamhaus to desist and to allow me to conduct my business unhindered by any annoymous entities..

Spamhaus Spamhaus is a fraudulent company

Our IPs were blacklisted by SpamHaus and when we asked our upstream provider who owns the IPs, they refereed us to a Mike Anderson at SpamHaus to discuss why they got listed.

I have no idea how such a company who hides behind various made up corporations hiding their money over seas has so much power and yet so rude to tell us they are not responsible for any wrong doing. Mike Anderson is a complete A-hole and told us he is a senior editor at SpamHaus among he can do whatever he wants because they are untouchable.

We have already filed with the FBI and local police to show them there was no emailing activity on our IPs and after providing all the evidence to Mr. Mike Anderson who actually lives in South Carolina (SpamHaus claims to be operating in UK) at a age of 60 with his Mommy has completely ruined our company.

Please find his info below and make sure to file with your local police as well:

Is Spamhaus legit?

Our verdict: Complaints Board's thorough examination reveals Spamhaus as a legitimate entity with notable strengths. Despite a 0% resolution rate on customer complaints, which invites a closer look, Spamhaus stands out for its commitment to quality and security. Clients considering Spamhaus should delve into its customer service record to gauge compatibility with their expectations.

Spamhaus earns 91% level of Trustworthiness

Perfect Trust Endorsement: Spamhaus achives 91% ligitmacy per Complaints Board. Highly recommended, yet always stay vigilant.

The age of Spamhaus's domain suggests that they have had sufficient time to establish a reputation as a reliable source of information and services. This can provide reassurance to potential customers seeking quality products or services.

Spamhaus.org has a valid SSL certificate, which indicates that the website is secure and trustworthy. Look for the padlock icon in the browser and the "https" prefix in the URL to confirm that the website is using SSL.

Spamhaus.org has been deemed safe to visit, as it is protected by a cloud-based cybersecurity solution that uses the Domain Name System (DNS) to help protect networks from online threats.

We looked up Spamhaus and found that the website is receiving a high amount of traffic. This could be a sign of a popular and trustworthy website, but it is still important to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of the site before sharing any personal or financial information

However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:

  • While Spamhaus has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 0% of 10 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
  • Spamhaus protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.
  • We conducted a search on social media and found several negative reviews related to Spamhaus. These reviews may indicate issues with the company's products, services, or customer support. It is important to thoroughly research the company and its offerings before making any purchases to avoid any potential risks.

Spamhaus Spamhaus blocking

Spamhaus is blocking my web site. When trying to get it unblocked, they send me to this website on the screenshot attached. In addition, their link to the stinger is invalid:
_________
You have either an open proxy, a virus, a trojan spam-sender or some other sort of security compromise which is causing your IP to be relisted. Always ensure that viruses, trojans and open proxies are removed or secured before trying to delist your IP.
If you run a Microsoft Windows based system, you should download a copy of stinger for Windows from www.nai.com, and fix anything it finds. See "Removing trojans/viruses from your system" in this FAQ for further information. More tools for checking if your PC may be infected are at http://www.mynetwatchman.com/tools/sc/

If after checking your PC for viruses/trojans/worms you are still unable to find the problem, contact the CBL team (see the CBL website http://www.abuseat.org/ for the correct email address).
_______________

Their site itself is riddled with malware and links that don't work. It is a sham!

Spamhaus Spamhaus blacklists our public ip by unreal reason

Hi there,

Spamhaus lists our server's Public IP in your blacklist with explanation that our IP appears in CBL as shown in screenshot below:

https://prnt.sc/kj5csa

Following the reported link, I see our Public IP is NOT listed in at least the past 28 days on CBL and hence there's not option to make removal request as shown in screenshot below:

https://prnt.sc/kj5cxl

Now we're getting into trouble in sending email because of this while we're actually NOT listed. We hope Spamhaus will take a look at this and help us to sort this problem out.

Many thanks.

Spamhaus Rob Pike of Google aka Rob Schultz of SpamHaus privacy concerns

Rob Pike aka Rob Shcultz http://herpolhode.com/rob/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cN_DpYBzKso https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4iVAcYyWN0 Married to: Renée French www.reneefrench.com Work: 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043 Tel: [protected] email: [protected]@google.com Home: 1003 Fremonth St. Menlo Park, CA 94025 Tel: [protected] Tweet Handel: @Rob_Pike Robert Pike (born 1956) is a Canadian software engineer and author. He is best known for his work at Bell Labs, where he was a member of the Unix team and was involved in the creation of the Plan 9 from Bell Labs and Inferno operating systems, as well as the Limbo programming language. Obtained from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rob_Pike Early 2000 before Spamhaus became recognized, Rob Pike used his Name to address listings.Today he has hidden his profile due to death threats under Rob Shcultz. Rob Pike (ask Rob Shcultz) is using his power @Google and their massive data base of users to spy on ISPs and people without their permission to list their information on SpamHaus’ database and thereby listing their names and IP information to the public and forcing the upstream to terminate them. Do you think Google would allow their employee to force companies to terminate a business using private information considering their long term issues with privacy laws? ISPs must follow the guidelines and to elaborate on this Guidelines and Policy. Here is a Scenario (A small Business Would Do: Jane sets up a Booth at a Tradeshow, Jane has a Tablet and asks visitors to fill out the form so she can email them with sales and Promotional emails every week. Also there is a check box for (Receive additional Related Products from Other Vendors) NOTE: You can unsubscribe anytime you like and the link is at the bottom of all emails that are sent. Jane collects 200, 000 email addresses and sends out promotional and as well as shared her contact list with her friend Joe. Joe also sends out emails and it’s all similar. They make money, everyone is happy. People unsubscribe, no issues to report. (This is NOT allowed by Spamhaus and should be terminated) Spamhaus has a policy to Double OPT in all subscribers. If this is not done, it’s now allowed. If you do not Follow, you will get an SBL, if the account is NOT terminated in a reasonable amount of time or corrected, it will be escalated to next level. So a /29 becomes a /24, if that is ignored that becomes a /20. If an IP gets an SBL and it has NO impact on the Customer because they email Gmail or AOL which has no effect by Spamhaus SBL listing. ISP Should be able to email Spamhaus and say please leave the SBL listing in Place. (So Spamhaus should be happy it’s filtered and the world is safe from spam) NOPE this is NOT the case either. Spamhaus Policy is the Customer has to be terminated regardless of decision to keep the customer. How does Spamhaus have the ability to force any business on the planet to terminate a customer on a say so? Do Companies know that they can do this? Forcing the hand to terminate customers by playing Mafia tactics has to have some protection by some Law Somewhere. They can even force you to terminate ANY customer they feel is not to their standards, No exceptions and No Protection. Follow no Rules, No Law and call it the Spamhaus way? Here is a typical email from Rob Pike aka Rob Shcultz: “Based on our data, we do not believe this IP range will be used for legitimate services, so it will remain listed on the SBL advisory in order to protect our users.” Spamhaus comes back with it was not SBL’d because of the complaints. It was listed because it was clear they were mailing and not by their policy. If a company does NOT follow Spamhaus guidelines, nothing anyone can do about it. Has anyone else had this issue with SpamHaus? We are in the process of filing a lawsuit as many have done in the past against SpamHaus, Rob Pike aka Rob Shcultz (CA resident), Steve Lindford and Google for listing our ISP which has been blacklisted for NO reason whatsoever!

Rob Pikeaka aka Rob Shcultz and Mike Anderson force ISPs to shut down so they can help their highly paid spammers spam the internet. Its such a mafioso business tactic they use by fronting www.SpamHaus.org. They threaten sites to remove bad content about them or they also list their IPs on their site until they do.

Spamhaus Fact: spamhaus have added innocent ip blocks to their blacklists.

Fact: Spamhaus and have added innocent IP blocks to their blacklists. Steve Linford extortionist.

The anti-spammer extotion goes like this: "Anyone who gets service from a network friendly to spammers is supporting the spammers and therefore our enemy." (The friend of my enemy is my enemy too?)

So here's how this goes. Once a network provider is branded "a communist"...er excuse me..."a spammer", ALL of their ranges are blocked. Typically a network provider is providing services for smaller service providers, many of whom would never and have never engaged in spamming of any kind. No notice is really given on these blacklisting events, rather you find out when mail starts bouncing to some destination. Usually an end customer is the first to notice, and that customers is directed by the bounce to complain to...their own internet server provider!

In essence, the customer is tricked into presenting the terrorist anti-spam agenda. The ISP turns around and finds out that -their- provider (or provider's provider) is what the anti-spam zealots want "silenced". Until that target complies with their arbitrary agenda (usually of the form "stop spamming", but this is not always true...see below), everyone else has to suffer with electronic mail blocks.

What's wrong with this? Everything.

*

First and foremost, the most often heard reason anti-spammers are so rabid about anti-spam is "it makes electronic mail unusable for average people". If this is true, then how does blocking innocent email help this situation? In fact, blacklisting innocents contributes to the problem. The hypocrisy here is so thick I doubt even a knife can cut it.
*

The dishonor of the practice of blacklists is amazing. Many naive internet mail administrators add blacklists like spamhaus "because they work to reduce spam". Lots of these sites have no idea that they are being cut off from legitimate email because of these machinations. If their customers really knew that they were cutoff, I wonder how many would still buy service? Getting rid of spam is one thing, blocking that key business email that means $100K in sales is quite another.

Lets take this one step further. Person A buys email service from ISP X who is using Spamhaus to block spam email. Person A's daughter, who's income is very low due to being a student in college, buys email service from ISP Y (because it's cheap) who uses IAP S as their connectivity. ISP Y buys network from IAP S because it's cheap. Due to real life constraints, the only contact Person A has with their daughter is email.

IAP S suddenly gets put on the anti-spam master blacklist. The same day, Person A's daughter has a car accident. A roommate desperately tries to send email to Person A but it's blocked. Worse, it's blocked because these zealots have an idealogical cause which is set up to be more important than a person's life. This is the height of dishonor.
*

The practice is quite criminal by many definitions and with criminals on all sides:
o

Any ISP that is blocked is told to "comply with our demands or be blacklisted" (a.k.a. extortion).
o

Attacking innocents in the name of their cause (a.k.a. terrorism).
o

Since the control of the blacklist is out of the hands of the service provider who subscribes to it, by law you must clearly state "random people may be blocked to your email box by other people who are not under our control" before selling "email services". I've never seen this stated on any ISP ad. (a.k.a false advertising)
o

Blacklisting ISPs is a good way of knocking them out of business (a.k.a restraint of trade)
o

If spam ever goes away, these organizations will also. Thus they have a vested interest in keeping spam alive (a.k.a playing both sides of the street)

Do note that the anti-spammers claim these practices are not criminal and will "reduce economic support for the 'spam friendly' ISPs". This claim is quite erroneous:

Fact: Spammer companies have far more money than most innocents.

Yep, to the tune of millions of dollars per month. SPAM is big business. Do you think that the income of one little ISP with 1000 customers is going to make any difference against the large income of a spam company? No! All that does is clear more bandwidth for the spammers to use, should the little ISP cave in and switch to another provider.

While there's no proof (that I'm aware of), it's not so far fetched to open up questions of collusion between "the providers that are anti-spam" and the "anti-spam blacklists". Certain providers, to compete, may pay the blacklist groups lots of money to keep attacking innocents, which gets them more customers in the long run as ISPs fold because they cant afford the connectivity provided by the "anti-spam supporter" providers.

I've established some things here:

1. In my opinion, blacklists are bad.
2. The anti-spammers are resorting to clearly criminal activities to further their goals: extortion, restraint-of-trade and, terrorism. If he likes terror, not me as I am a nice person who wouldn't hurt a fly, but i'm sure that their are people out their that would like to show him what terror is all about.

Our company are having huge problems with spamhaus.org at the moment.4 ips that we bought with our vps have been caught up in a blanket ban of 1000ips. the vps provider we bought from had another 100 blacklisted in same blanket ban. i can say categorically that none of the 4 were responsible for sending spam, 3 of them are not even in use so no mail is sent via them, the other is used only to contact our customers. the fact they have the power to and ability to effectively block all email communications without any evidence or proof of us sending spam is very scary? They are not the only organizattion guilty of this, but are the only one thus far that have completely ignored all requests to resolve the issue and 2 weeks later our ips are still on a block list! are they answerable to anybody, seems they are a law unto themselves

I have different accounts using the same name: "Icorigin."
One of which is: icorigin@yandex.com
An e-mail was sent by myself to that icorigin@yandex.com email address
(which, again, is my own) from another of my own accounts using gmx.com
and Spamhaus censorsed my own e-mail from gmx to yandex.
Spamhaus thus censored my own email sent to myself!
But what can be done about it? Legal remedies?
The world and the internet users therein will be judge,

none of the other 109 'spam dns blacklists' have ever caused any significant harm.
none of those operate registers of illegally gathered and processed and publicized personal data (ROKSO)
all of those only list ips that actually send spam (to honeypots or reporting users), then list those ips, and automatically unlist them.
spamhaus is the only one where unlisting requires manual intervention and begging spamhaus to remove it.
spamhaus is the only one that lists entire telcos to 'get things completely shut down' without any court verdict whatsoever, as a means of blackmail to get them to breach contracts with their clients. (despite the fact that simply listing the ip that sends spam should suffice to 'protect those that CHOOSE to use the spamhaus service ) - that 'choosing' bit is also a bit widely interpreted by spamhaus, as usually it's some nerd at their isp that 'chooses' it for a few million users, not the users themselves. breaching net neutrality laws in the process in countries where they apply.

statistically seen, most of spamhaus their listings seem to be related to 'enforcing uk trade policy' upon those that are not bound by it, such as other countries. for a 'non profit' (the only non profit they have is an LTD in the uk, which btw, normally would not even be allowed to trade considering it's dormant status, which they use to hide behind) it is kinda odd that they feel the need to operate 5 offshore firms to 'move cash' on mauritius and the bahamas. the entire way spamhaus works shows great overlap with the CGHG JTRIG task force's official work methods, which would also explain little stevieboy having multiple-million villas in colle sur loup, ibiza, a new land rover, and a sunseeker yacht to hide on. all kinda odd for some 'non profit hippie' 'fighting spam'. also police cases filed at the metropolian police are 'forwarded to the intel hub' and never heard of everafter... all of this makes the uk's involvement seem very suspicious. and VERY UNDIPLOMATIC.

spamhaus has around 109 competitors, operating 'black lists' to 'fight spam'. the other ones simply list ips that originate spam to honey pots and auto-remove them after 24 hours, which causes no problems to anyone but spammers whatsoever. they do not publicize an illegal database of private details (ROKSO), they require no interaction and manhours on the ISP side, they do not list entire isps in order to get 'things shut down' which, by their own saying are already unreachable for 'those that choose to use spamhaus their services' (usually it's their isp being stupid enough to choose it FOR the end-users tho). (if the people you claim 'choose' to use your service already are no longer hindered by the content, why continue trying to blackmail entire telcos into breach of contract to get something disconnected - without a court order - ;) thereby breaking all applicable laws on all sides yourself. it's kinda odd that NONE OF THE OTHER ONES except for the early ones that merged into spamhaus around 2001, and later turned out to all be related to linford and cox, have ever even been noticed in a negative way.

out of all 41 millions ips negatively affected in their connectivity by spamhaus, only 4500 turned out to actually run a mailserver in the first place. so the rest per definition, has nothing to do with spam, and is simply listed as a means of blackmail (overlapping ip ranges), or as spamhaus themselves likes to admit their crimes: 'escalation'.
