RC Willey Home Furnishings memorial day sale scam

Went into RC Willey and found a entire living room worth of furniture and was told they were going to have a big Memorial Day Sale starting May 16th so I took a picture of what I wanted including the price tags and decided to wait two weeks for the sale. When the day of the Sale came we drove about a hour to RC Willey in Draper UT. and went to purchase the furniture and noticed they never reduced the price a single penny, all they did was placed a sale tag on it. When I questioned them about it they said I was mistaken and it was reduced from 1100 to 949.00 and when I showed the salesman the picture proving they didn't reduce the furniture and that it was never 1100.00 they got defensive and management called me a lair in a round about way and questioned the the picture if it was real or not... So for their dishonest business practices and very very poor customer service they lost out on a several thousand dollars cash sale and Ashley Furniture gained a new customer this day and we ended up with nicer and better quality furniture and saved a thousand off our entire purchase. The salesperson at Ashley Furniture would like to thank you for sending another customer their way.

RC Willey Home Furnishings unethical behaviour, misrepresentation, shoddy merchandise

in September 2015 my husbnad and i purchased a $4, 000 sectional couch with the extended "bumper to bumper" wareently on the leather and all mechanical etc. Sales rep stated "you can have a knife in your pocket and tear the leather, dog urine etc it is covered - everything! all mechanical items and parts." we paid an extra $500. for this. 12 plus months later the recliner broke down (mechanically) and the couch is discolouring, on the top back on the seating area (not where you sit ) clsoer to the seperations. we called to have the repart done and was told after waiting for three weeks for the guy to come out - then us having to call to get hte status two weeks later that non of it was covered. What is covered? we were lied to and sold somethign we did not get. a good couch, a warenty all based any repairs.

RC Willey Home Furnishings bar stools made of press wood

Bought two bar stools at $450 each. They lasted less then 2 years before they snapped a leg. I found that the legs were made of Press Wood. A friend got injured when the leg snapped. She was just sitting on it, not doing anything fancy or dangerous

Notified the Store in Henderson and they scheduled a tech to come out and review the problem. After a week I was notified that they had a 1 year warranty the night before they were to come out thus I was out of luck.

These bar stool are DANGEROUS, somebody is going to get killed. RC Willy seem not to take this serious. Perhaps when others get hurt and the government or lawyers get involved then action will be taken.

Not what I consider a caring and forthright management

RC Willey Home Furnishings leather protection warranty scam

I bought a leather couch from RC Willey in Orem, Utah. My sales person told me that everything was covered under the warranty as long as it wasn't abused. This includes bodily fluids, rips, tears, stitching, etc. Well, my couch has a couple of small tears. I submitted a claim and heard back from RC Willey that they don't cover tears because they were caused by my cat. I believe that RC Willey sells the warranties knowing full well that they will not honor them. They have a satisfaction guarantee which they won't honor either. Not to mention that the delivery guy dropped one of the pieces of the sectional on my hardwood floor and put a dent in it. RC Willy won't do anything about that either. They sell fraudulent warranties and low quality merchandise.

RC Willey Home Furnishings Extended warranty

I made a new purchase yesterday. In talking about an extended warranty our salesman said that we had several from years past. I mentioned that I was not aware or recieving any rebates from the unused warranties. In reviewing with RCWilley today, I was informed that I had lost out on $290.00 worth of warranty refunds. They are not automatic and you must claim them within 60 days or loose them as in our case. Wow! I was told "So sad, but nothing we can do now". What a scam. I was told it is in the fine print as a customer. I just took RCWilley at "their word", "if the warranty is not used during the warranty period you as a customer will receive 50% of the warranty purchase price back". No mention ever from any sales person about as a customer it is our responsibility to request it back at the end. I don't see that I am any different than the majority of consumers that anticipate that RCWilley would handle it. Buyer beware, there is no such thing as a refund if you don't use it, you just loose it. It seems more like a scam now. If you really care about your customers, help them with the details. Your warranty department had no problem telling me of the ones I missed out on. Easily they could implement an email notification. The monies refunded are only usable at RCWilley and no where else..I am very dissapointed with RCWilley. My esteem for them and their stores just fell apart. I think your loyalty is in question. My history shows my loyalty. Please make this good...

RC Willey Home Furnishings lying to your customers

About 8 weeks ago my wife & I went to Rc Willey in Reno, NV and purchased 2 End tables & a Coffee table. Was told it would be there on October 26th 2015, That day came and we never received a phone call from anyone not our salesperson nor a manager stating that our items were in. I had to call and was told that they had not come in and they would be there in a couple days. A couple days went by never received a phone call from anyone again, once again I had to call to see where my furniture was. This time I was told the End tables have arrived still waiting on the coffee table was told it was on back order and would come in again in couple of days. Never received a phone call again from anyone after a week I had to come down to the store spoke to a manager who really didn't care if I was ever going to receive my items and never even apologized for no one ever calling to update us on what was going on. Today 11/04/2015 my wife received a phone call from someone at Rc Willey and was told that our end tables that we were told were in are now not in & that the truck was in an accident which is why the tables haven't shown up when we were already told that they were in. This company has no clue when it comes to customer service I'm sure if your CEO found out that this is the way you consistently lie to your customers. I'm sure they would not be working there anymore. Beware of buying any thing from RC Willey because all they want is your money & could care less about you after they get it. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM RC WILLEY

RC Willey Home Furnishings fraudulent serta mattress warranties

Prior to lower lumbar double fusion surgery I purchased an $1800 Serta Pillow Top mattress in 2011 at RC Willey in Orem, UT . I was told that the mattress came with a 10 year warranty.

About 12 months ago the mattress started to sag both horizontally and vertically, became lopsided, and had a huge body impression sag.

Last month I had 4 more levels on my back fused. When I got home from the hospital I couldn't use my bed at all because of the sagging (no support for my back). Because of the lack of support and increased pain I had to go back to the hospital. It was determined the pain was due to a support-failed mattress.

I remembered I had a 10 year warranty on my mattress.

I did a Google search on Serta mattresses and how well they honored their warranties. What I discovered was over 500 complaints how not only how the Serta mattresses had failed within a few years but detailed the Serta warranty scam.

Serta sends out an official mattresses measures who is paid for by Serta. He does a few measurements (not in the area where I experienced the sag failure, takes a few pictures and tells me I will hear back from RC Willey about his report?

Two days later I got a letter fro Serta denying my warranty claim .

I am seriously thinking of initiating a class action suit against Serta and RC Willey as a accomplice in this fraud. The last suit I successfully initiated for cell phone billing fraud (devore vs ATT) resulted in a $5 billion settlement against ATT do a google search to verify.

At this point, don't shop at RC Willey as they are not only aware of this scam but participate in it. And, don't buy Serta mattresses. They seem to fail after a few years and after they do Serta does not honor their warranties.
Steve DeVore, Orem, UT

I had the exact same issue with a Simmons mattress I purchased from the RC Willey Provo store. The salesman told me it had a 10 year warranty so that was the selling point for me. We had the bed about three years and experienced sagging and the bed leaning to one side. I submitted a warranty claim, some guy came out, took pictures and told me I would be contacted. A week later I got a rejection letter about my warranty claim because the mattress was sold as is. I checked the invoice and printed on the bottom was the sold as is. This was a brand new mattress! How could it have been as is? The RC Willey salesman lied to me. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars buying furniture from RC Willey over the years. The mattress warranty is a scam! I will never purchase anything from RC Willey again!

RC Willey Home Furnishings Floor installation

I purchased some laminate flooring from RC Willey and also had them install it. After the first installation the entire floor squeaked when you walked on it. They came out to inspect it and decided the floor needed to be re-installed and glued down. After the second installation the floor still squeaked and continued to get worse as time went on. They inspected the floor again and said the floor needed to be re-installed and should never have been glued down, apparently the installers did not leave enough room around the edges to allow for movement. After the third installation (new product this time) the floor still squeaks. I wrote a letter to the corporate office and all I got was a call from the local store manager offering me a $200 gift card. How this is supposed to make up for a squeaky floor is beyond me. Needless to say, I am not a happy customer, will never buy anything again from RC Willey and will never recommend this store to anyone.

I purchased carpet and engineered wood flooring from RC Willeys end of September. Flooring was supposed to be installed in 3 days. TLC carpets destroyed 4 pieces of furniture while dragging it across dry boards, they did the worst carpet install ever, with carpet not being all the way to the walls, wood contractor left in the middle of install and the job just got completely 12/29. Terrible experience, lack of communication, poor customer service and I will never hire RC Willeys to do any work in my home.

RC Willey Home Furnishings defective bed

A little over a year ago, I purchased a bed from the RC Willey in West Valley City, Utah. Now this bed had a few problems. The side rails kept breaking. RC Willey sent out a repair team several times to fix the bed. About 11 months into owning the bed, it broke beyond repair. Since the bed was no longer made, RC Willey offered an in-store credit to purchase a new bed. I selected a new model - at greater expense - and had it delivered. Well, this bed has since broken three times. After the second repair, I decided to address the problem myself. It had collapsed in the center due to improper design. Foregoing RC Willey's crack repair service, I went to Home Depot, bought a 2x4, and fortified the center supports myself. Let me tell you - the bed is solid as a rock now. Thanks, RC Willey, for giving me the opportunity to use my cordless drill and circular saw. These tools were expensive, and I was having a hard time justifying the cost, but now they have paid for themselves! In fact, I also repaired a leather recliner (La-Z-Boy) I bought from RC Willey. Fortunately, I have a machining background, so I was able to build a few braces to keep the chair working. Sure, it weighs about twenty more pounds now, but it could withstand an earthquake now. My advice? Skip RC Willey and go directly to Home Depot. Buy some lumber and build your own furniture. And don't be fooled by the free hot dogs RC Willey offers. It's just a ploy to suck you into the black hole. Honestly, I would not accept any merchandise from RC Willey even it were given to me. Their stuff is dangerous. It's sad to see this once fine company decline. Ever since Warren Buffett and Berkshire Hathaway acquired the chain, the quality of their furniture has declined.

RC Willey Home Furnishings felony theft

November 2012 I bought a Kitchen Range on 12 month NI account. In January 2013 I bought a Table and Chair Set on 6 month NI account. In April 2013 I purchased a Dishwasher for $777.20 on my ATM/Credit card.
The complaints for the Kitchen Range are that I had to pay extra for Delivery/Install/Bracing Parts. The Range was delivered and installed. The brace which I had to pay extra for was not installed and the range was not installed correctly. The night of the install I had to call in my gas company because of a gas leak and evacuate my home. The leak was caused by a poorly attached gas line to the range. To assuage my feelings they gave me the ATV for children they were selling for $39 with a qualifying purchase.
No complaints on the Table and Chair set.
In April when I purchased the Dishwasher on my ATM/Credit card I was told it would be delivered and installed on Monday. Monday came and no delivery. When I called the salesperson she said "I never said that it would be installed on Monday." In effect calling me a liar. I said I would not have purchased it otherwise. Long story short I cancelled the purchase. I went to the Customer Service Center at the store and swiped my ATM/Credit card and received my refund back to my Bank Account. I added my $777.20 back into my bank account and left.
Fast forward to June 5 when I went to the store to make a payment on my 12 month NI account (the kitchen range). I was told not only was it paid off but that RC Willey owed me $319.00. I knew I still owed over $400 and told them so. The Manager said she would call Corporate and contact me the next day. The next day she reaffirmed that RC Willey owed me the $319. Since I have electronic billing I had to print out all my statements and discovered the problem. Even though I have a receipt for the refund of $777.20 they never refunded it to my bank account. "Someone" at RC Willey decided to instead apply the $777.20 from the cancelled Dishwasher purchase to my account for the 12 month NI Kitchen range. The manager at the Reno Customer Service then told me on June 7th that she would not refund me my $777.20 and that I only had $319 coming to me. She stated the original refund for the Dishwasher had been "rejected" and then RC Willey applied those funds towards my 12 month NI account. I told her they did not have the authority to play with my money and that I had already written checks against that $777.20. I also told her that what they had done was Fraudulent Felony use of my Credit Card. When I asked why I was not notified about the "rejected" refund she literally had no answer and just stared at me. Also, I not only have the refund slip from the store I received a letter from RC Willey in April explaining the $777.20 had been refunded my account.
I insisted that they refund the entire amount immediately or I would file a criminal complaint against the company. I know this is getting wordy but the end result was that I again have another refund slip for $777.20 and they had to reopen another 12 month NI account to account for what I still owe on the Kitchen Range. All this only because I had to completely embarrass myself in the store to convince them to do the right thing with customers walking around and staring at me. The rest of the customer service employees were all standing around looking at me like I was some kind of crazy person. When they (RC Willey) had stolen and or misappropriated my money. I am so done with RC Willey and at this point I have not yet decided whether I should go see an attorney or not.
I will never purchase another item from RC Willey nor do I recommend anyone else shop at RC Willey. What they did to me was criminal.

RC Willey Home Furnishings Warranty con

I purchased a twin sleeper sofa (product number 3236455) for $2, 000.01. I paid an additional $49.99 for their 7 year fabric protection cover. Prior to purchasing the fabric protector the sales lady specifically assured my wife and I that all stains were covered. Within a month of purchase we spilt red wine on the couch. I followed the cleaning requirements and dabbed the stained areas. I phoned RC Willey and they sent their contract cleaners out. Unfortunately he was unable to remove the stain, he photographed the sofa and stated that he would send the photo to RC Willey who would replace the sofa. I heard nothing further, so contacted RC Willey and was advised that my claim was being denied. I phoned the sales lady and she stated that the sofa would not be replaced as the stain was not on the fabric but on the mattress. If you check out the sofa, you'll see that the "fabric" pulls out to form the bed, it is one unit! There are no exclusions or exemptions in the warranty that they attached to my invoice. I would implore people to shop elsewhere, I will never purchase anything from RC Willey again

RC Willey Home Furnishings installation

RC Willey recommends Certified Installs for all their frig and cooktop installation. DO NOT USE THEM. Certified Installs do NOT know the first thing about installing cooktops. The fellow they sent to our home did not know if the stove was 110 or 220 volts! And he was going to be doing the electrical work. He tore out the old cooktop and tore open the electrical box, but upon trying to put it back together, didn't know what to do with what he thought were 2 extra electrical wires! He had never seen quartz counter tops before and had no idea how the Wolf vent system connected. DO NOT USE RC WILLEY'S RECOMMENDED CERTIFIED INSTALLS PEOPLE.

RC Willey Home Furnishings poor customer service

I have been a customer with rcwilley for 14 years. We have bought furniture, appliances, electronics flooring and etc. We also pay extra to have everything installed. After 14 years I had my first complaint. We spent over 4, 000 dollars on furniture and over 3, 000 dollars for 2 tv's, sound system and wall mounts. We added 150 dollar install fee for the tv's. We signed the approval form for the install when it was completed. We later were not happy with the install of one of the tv's. I spoke with Walt at the corporate office to see if there was anything that they could do and he treated me poorly. It does not matter how much we spent on our orders, if we are not happy with the install then there is nothing that they can do. We wanted the job fixed and ended up having to pay 200.00 instead of the 150 for the install team to come back to fix the problem. We also have a hole in the wall from the first install that is also our responsibility to fix. This was poorly handled by Walt from the corporate office and I plan to close my account and take my business elsewhere. I am sad, but I would not want to deal with them again if I had another problem in the future.

RC Willey Home Furnishings employees are aloud to lie who knew

I own a small local business so we try to get a the deals we can because we don't really have any distributors. We sen't four of our employee's to do black Friday at rc willey including me. They were there until 12 am to 8 am. That is 8 hours in freezing conditions They were in the top ten of the line. We wanted to get 2 of everything of the doorbusters which was fine because we had five un-related people there each waiting 8 hours. They starting handing out redeem coupons for the door buster items, When I told the guy I would like one coupon for each doorbuster he looked at me and said "get back to me when you know exactly what you want" and started moving down the line ( I was number 4 in line) I then pulled out the ad and pointed to each item I wanted. He then told me I could only have one item per category like One electronic and one furniture etc... he also would not give any to my other people their that have been waiting 5 hours only to me because he said "one per family" when clearly we were not a family which I did explain to him. I begged him told him I was there since midnight so he gave me redeem coupons for 55" tv and 40 " tv I asked if I could get a laptop coupon he said there was no laptop coupons that they were grab items first come first serve. I got into the store and I come to find out that the laptop items were coupon items and that he LIED to me an actual employee had the feel that he needed to LIE to me, because he didn't want to give me anymore electronic coupons? I feel like this is false advertisement that I should have been entitled to at least one redeem coupon per item not category. I feel like they were really rude for someone who has been standing there for 8 hours and spends thousand of dollars there every year.

RC Willey Home Furnishings rc willey taking advantage of customers

Help for the consumer, I want it known how RC Willey Of Las Vegas treats their customer’s. I purchased a new refrigerator 6 months ago. I also have a service warranty for 1 year. I purchased the refrigerator in February 2012 and it is now November 2012. A month after purchasing it The freezer didn’t work properly. It would not keep cold and I was losing a lot of food. It has been 6 months and freezer is still not fixed. RC gave me a service company to contact, I called this company and the first attempt they could not find my house, so I had to reschedule the appointment again, The second time, he said he called and could not get thru the gate of the gated community I live in, I never got a phone call, so again I had to reset the appt, Each time I reset the appt it was again several weeks out. When he finally came to try to fix it back in August, he came and said he had to order the parts. The parts finally came in 2 weeks ago . It took 2 months to get the parts in. ( the end of October) all thru this time I had to shut down the refrigerator and make the ice melt off to open the vents to allow the cold air to circulate. The vents in the freezer were frozen so no circulation was taking place and the heater to melt the ice did not work causing the food to thaw out.. I contacted RC, explained to them that the problem still persists and I feel in all fairness I should be given a new Refrigerator, being one attempt was made to fix it, and it still does not work. They had 2 options for me to choose from, 1) have another service man come out again and try to fix it, again or they would give me another one but wants to charge me a 30% restocking fee. I dont feel that is fair to me the consumer. I did not break this refrigerator, It has not worked right since the day I bought it, I bought it from RC Wiley and I feel they should replace it at no cost to me, especially being I have a warranty. Could someone please help me in this situation. I feel that RC Wiley is passing the buck on this, And they dont care about the fact of me losing food and all the stress and inconvenience this has caused me. and they have the nerve to want to charge me a 30% restocking fee. Now Thanks Giving is around the corner and I still dont have a Refrigerator that the freezer works properly, Not to mention when the vents clog up the temperature in the Refrigerator also doenst work properly and I lost milk and dairy product as well. Please Help me.

Bought a children's bedroom set at RC willey around 5 yeras ago. first set came damaged, 2nd set, damaged, 3rd set damaged, 4th set damaged. I finally gave up and accepted an offer on the least damaged dresser and mirror for a 15% discount, the headboard I couldn't keep even with a discount, not one passable in the bunch. We ended up buying a metal one from them(don't ask me why) which worked out for us and was cheaper. I swore I wouldn't buy again from RC Willey but broke my promise just recently in buying a fridge. The fridge showed up undamaged on the front and sides but we neglected to look at the rear where it looks like it either fell on a handtruck or was run into by a forklift at the werehouse. We called initially to get a replacement because a fan kept running after 20 hrs from plug in. We didin't notice the rear dents till later when I rolled it away from the wll to inspect it. Before dlivery of this first fridge I asked to have the fridge unboxed in front of me so I knew it was factory fresh. It came unboxed but still had shrink wrap on the front protecting the stainless steel so maybe they're not shipped in a box, I don't know, but it's possible. A replacemnt fridge is coming, I hope, but I'm now dreading whether this one might have damage elsewhere after reading accounts from others who bought fridges and other appliances as delivery with dents seems to be very common, not only pertaining to RC Willey but to other retailers as well. I think it's buyer beware no matter who you are dealing with and you'd better be on your toes.

RC Willey Home Furnishings fraud

I purchased a higher end laptop from R.C. Willey's in Reno, Nv on Thursday, January 12th. I needed to use it for a photo shoot I was doing in Lake Tahoe that weekend. I got to the cabin where the shoot was staged and unpacked the laptop. Plugged it in, turned it on and got some lights on the keyboard. Nothing else. I unplugged it, took the battery out, tried again...same thing. I had an old, inadequate laptop with me so I simply packaged the new one back up and went about my business, as time was an issue and the old laptop would serve my basic functions (but I lost a lot of time in not being able to use it for the photography itself). I returned to Reno the following Sunday to find R.C. Willey's closed. I live 170 miles away, so obviously this isn't ideal. I was fortunate enough to have a friend return the laptop for me the following day. A "technician" at R.C. Willey's looked at it, saw the same behavior, supposedly looked it up online and said it was a "manufacturer's defect with a certain batch". They credited my card and gave my friend a slip with wording to that effect. They later proceeded to accuse me of stealing parts out of it and even though they claim it has "fingerprints all over the inside of it", they have no interest in turning it over to the police for proper processing. They have lied to me and been caught in the lie, more than once. Their G.M., their corporate offices and their "Loss Prevention Manager" have either not returned my call or not called me when I was told they would. So, basically, R.C. Willey's thinks it's okay to sell you defective equipment, accuse you of stealing without any due process to prove it and try to fraud you out of hundreds of dollars ($1400 in this case). Giving you the "option" of returning it to the manufacturer for "warranty issues". Which is just further fraud, as I am sure they know the manufacturer isn't going to warranty a device with missing parts. Even if it was a warranty issue, I didn't do business with the manufacturer. I did business with R. C. Willey's and returned a defective item within 4 days of purchasing it (in the EXACT condition it was sold to me). That is their problem to contend with. I have said multiple times that I was willing to work with the Reno P.D. to exonerate myself of any wrong doing. They want no part of that. They simply want to lie and steal my money. I have never (and will hopefully never again), done business with a company so devoid of logic, customer service mentality or even common sense, in my life.

RC Willey Home Furnishings poor service

I have purchased several pieces of furniture from RC Willey in Reno Nevada. I am very disappointed after speaking with their customer service representative regarding issues I'm having with my bed and my recliner chairs.

After having my bed for only 2 years, the main support, side board, has split causing my bed to collapse. The bed has not been misused or moved and I only weight 200 pounds. Now I have books stacked under the bed to support it so I have a place to sleep. Also my reclining chairs are having issues as they have a "clunking" feeling as I rock and the swivels feel like they are loose.

Their representative and his supervisor suggested I pay to have the furniture inspected. After owning the chairs for 1 year and 2 years on the bed, I find it insulting that I be asked to pay to have these inspected and repaired. I have spent thousands of dollars with their company and will not be a returning customer if their service is this substandard and their products are even lower.

RC Willey Home Furnishings honoring coupons

My Wife and I went to RC Willey on Memorial Day to purchase a camcorder. RC Willey had put in their Sunday ad that they were offering a free gift card for $25 to the first 200 people through the door. We woke up early and stood in the cold, drizzling rain for over half an hour in order to get the gift card. Upon choosing a camcorder and going to the cashiers, we heard almost every single customer ahead of us in the huge line being told that they could not use their gift card on that specific purchase. When we got to the cashier, she told us that we could not use the gift card because the camcorder was the last one in stock, and because we were going to use another gift card that we had received earlier. RC Willey used a bait and switch method to get people into the store just to trick them at the last moment. I am not okay with businesses these days not caring about customer service. ESPECIALLY after they pull something like this, and then they don't provide the opportunity for customer satisfaction emails on their website. A Company who avoids feedback, is a company that knows they would receive a ton of it.

One other thing, I DID search for the place to contact you guys via email, and it isn't easy to find. Dont say it like im too stupid to track it down on your website. Maybe you should put it in a normal location like every other company that cares about their customers.

(not sure why it posted like that on here, I am the same person as jazzfan87 and I corrected the post) Heres my biggest problem though, you should put that fine print in the paper so we can read it BEFORE we nearly catch a cold in the rain! Also, it wasnt intended to be used on anything, because there was an entire paragraph of all the things that it COULDNT be used for! RC Willey will do anything it takes to get money, EXCEPT follow through on their promotions. Since this experiment, we went in to get your 2 Stadium seats and cooler for $20 (just for coming in) only to find out that the store in Riverdale, Utah had a ridiculous limit on how many they would sell each day. The cashier told us that they are always gone within 30 minutes, and that they are the only store she was aware of that had a daily limit. In my opinion, you shouldnt offer something to someone just for coming in and then turn them away when they come in. Especially if they come in during the promotional time period.

I"m the Community Manager for RC Willey. I apologize for our company being inconsiderate in this situation. I'm sorry that we wouldn't work with you on the promotion. The gift cards were intended to be used on non-doorbuster type merchandise. It states that in the fine print on the back of the card. However, given the situation, the product, etc., exceptions can and should be made. I talked to the manager over all of the store managers here in our corporate offices and he agreed with me. Once again, I apologize that we wouldn't cooperate with you on the purchase you were trying to make.

Our company has focused on in-store and on phone support. There is access to contact us via email and social media, but some of those options aren't always visible without searching for them. Send me a message and I'll work with you in any way that I can.

RC Willey Home Furnishings no warranty support

We bought a Spring Air mattress and box springs from RC Willey. After 3 years we had sagging on both sides. We turned it but because it is a pillow-top we could not flip it. They sent someone out and it had only sunk 1 1/4" so, in their opinion, it was not a defective mattress. The store did not back us and this huge distributer said they could not do anything for us.

RC Willey Home Furnishings lack of customer service

I ordered two sofa's, a bookshelf, a tv stand, a bed and a dresser from rc willey. They were unable to deliver for a few days so I opted to arrange to collect the bed and dresser as my son needed one right away. I told the sales person when discussing this that I would arrange to have it picked up the following day as I was leaving town on business. A friend of mine who had a truck offered to pick up the items for me so I gave him my sales slip and receipt.

I got a call from rc willey that my friend was there attempting to pick up my items. I said yes, I gave him permission to do so. I was told that "i" had to be the one to pick up the items and I had to show my id as they can not release purchases without doing so. I explained that I was out of town and had mentioned to the sales person while purchasing that I needed the bed and dresser right away and that I would arrange to have it picked up the following day - and that no mention was made to me at that time that "i" had to be the one to pick up the items. I was then told the sales person should have told me their policy and that in order for them to release my purchase to a different party I would have had to arrange this at the time of purchase. I was told my only other option was to come to the store in person show my id and they could release my purchase.

I was dumb founded, I said so, let me get this straight - I need to drive to your store to tell you that the person standing in front of you has my permission to pick up the items I purchased from you. He said yes and you need to show me your id. I said, you called my phone number the one listed on my purchase receipt so you know I am who i'm saying I am but still you need me to come down in person to show you my id. I was told yes. I asked to speak to the store manager or supervisor and after speaking to three different people including the store manager they would not budge.

I am appalled that this company has such a strict non flexible policy even at a customers plea.in my opinion their policy is asinine and rc willey has absolutely no customer service

We were looking for a comfortable reclining sofa and had purchased another couch and two televisions from the Rocklin store so we figured it was worth a shot. We found a couch we loved that was very comfortable and decided to order it. We were told it would take 4-6 weeks to get the couch. The date of arrival has changed numerous times and we are now more than three months into the wait, and still no couch. I found out the couch is coming from China and we are waiting for the manufacturer to make a bunch more couches so they can fill a container. I called again to confirm that the final destination date would be what I was promised, but apparently, if the computer isn't updated by the buyer then the date you are told might not be the actual date you will receive your furniture. I even called the corporate office and after leaving two messages, 6 hours later I received a call from a gentleman that could only tell me that his buyer and the assistant had left for the day so I would have to wait to find out if the buyer knew the order would be delayed once again. He told me, "the computer says the couch will be delivered in a week", but what he didn't know is that I called the delivery center for California and the only one that knew what the heck they were talking about was the little gal who called me back and told me she called the manufacturer and was told it would be another two months before I actually get the couch. I have waited three months, and now I am supposed to wait another 2 months? I am frustrated because we have waited so long, and if we go elsewhere, we will have to wait again and in essence, start all over. Think twice before you order anything that is on "back order". The couch we purchased was a popular couch and so because the demand was high, being one of the first persons to order the couch, we are having to wait for all the other orders so a stupid container can be filled in China and shipped here, only to be delivered to a warehouse in Utah and then loaded on another Truck that will be making deliveries to other States before actually trucking its way to California.
5 Months is WAY TOO LONG to wait for a couch. I thought RC Willey had a good ole American story of success, but apparently, the story ends there because the furniture purchased comes from CHINA...

@tkcc8 I'm sorry about the issue with receiving your merchandise. I'd have to look up the items to know for sure, but there most likely was an issue with the shipment and arriving the merchandise. I apologize that this couldn't be coordinated more effectively. Hopefully everything worked out in the end.

RC Willey's Sales Reps are liars. I bought a living room set from them weeks before Mother's Day and was told that it would be ready on May 6th. Well as you would have guessed it is not ready. I called the sales rep to find out what was going, she told me that on the system it looked like I could receive it on the 6th, but she had spoken to the warehouse and it would take another 3 weeks before I am able to receive the merchandise, and the icing on the cake is that I sold my old furniture to make room for my new. Now I am using my dining room chair and lawn chairs as furniture for my guests on Mother's Day. What a day to remember, I will be remembered as the lady that had no furniture.
I hope that all that are thinking about buying from RC Willey, are not in a hurry to receive there product, and NEVER, EVER, EVER, order product on back order.
