I bought a Ray Ban sunglasses model 4085 in one Dubai duty free store for about US$180 2 years ago. I was using the sunglasses in normal use when suddenly I noticed a small crack developing near a small screw holding the glass.
Then I noticed overtime that the crack became longer up to 1cm.
When I was in one Houston factory outlet, I was window shopping. I saw the same sunglasses of the same model in one store with a crack also.
I concluded that it was Ray Ban factory defect.
What a waste of money. So beware!

I started running and used my Ray Ban sunglasses, after a while i noticed these spots on the lenses. Feeling quite disappointed in the product. What can i do? See photo attached
I shy away from Ray ban glasses since then. Thanks Brammy
I ordered and paid for a pair of sunglasses through the SBG website in South Africa. The item was listed as a fast shipping item. More than 3 weeks later, I received an invoice for customs duties from the courier who was to deliver the sunglasses. I ordered the glasses in South Africa for delivery in South Africa, so any customs duties must be paid by Smartbuyglasses. They offer free shipping by courier. The sunglasses came directly from Hong Kong to my address instead of going to Smartbuyglasses first. The worst thing about it is that I cannot get a response from them at all. They do not have a telephone number so I cannot call. I have emailed numerous time, tried to post on their Facebook page, but the posts don't appear. I am at a loss. They have my money and my glasses. I want them delivered free as advertised or I want a refund. I have ordered twice previously, and had no problems. I almost believe that they do that intentionally to then scam customers later on. Please can someone help!
