On January 2, 2012 I Call Cypress Instant plumbing detection the worming floor that after 30 Minutes Jim come to estimated said this is a small leak needs $900 and $400 to repair to floor or wall just because 50% off for new customer and free detection & camera advertised at Penny Saver. so I deciding let him do the work. About an hour Ted come to detection floor said this is not a easy work needs $3.200 to fix that is expensive !and he wants charge $165 for detection if I don't want do but if I do he will charge $2, 500 so I deciding let him do the work. took about 5 hours he wrote an invoice with $2, 500 without 50% off, this too expensive for one small nail hole on the pipe and small spot open ground. I call his office that Raul said this work needs $6, 000 and up with a high tech service he already gave me a discount. He said if I complain to Board he will come to my house and he said " Do you know who I am ! ! "

i agree with comment posted because if you are given up front pricing, you can decide if you wanna use this outfit, or call other companies to give bid also, however if his floor was flooding and needed emergency service, he may have gone with first bid, due to urgency to repair leak. i think he just wasnt happy with paying amount due and is just complaining to complain and cause problems, he should be grateful this company patched all drywall, baseboards, behind them .some plumbers just do plumbing .they dont patch drywall or any other repairs needed after plumbing repair .

Responding to flooding of home caused by "slab leak " i strongly disagree with this posting ; first of all customer was given up front pricing all along .…
one estimate involved breaking tile and demo concrete to perform 'spot repair ' only repairing copper pipe leaking, re-patch concrete only$700 or 2nd estimate repairing leaking pipe and reinstalling tile 'complete finish '$900
Customer was given 3rd estimate to "repipe 're-route water lines above ground inside drywall to prevent any further leakage of copper pipes under slab' for $2500 including all drywall patchwork, texture and painting .
This 3rd proposal was customers' choice and such said work perform ..Which I have in a work order contract signed by customer.
