Today at 6:09pm I was in rainbow where I was threatened and disrespect by the employee bc they did not like that I was returning something they called me every name in the book when I asked who to call the lady just pointed to a paper not saying nothing about her employee not once did they ask her to chill or watch how u talk to the customers my 5 year old child was there whern she walked up to me with a pole in her hand (hanging clothes pole) and threatened me and walk to me calling out my name saying how she'll hit me and put me out the store again no one said anything to her and the whole time my child was watching this I called the number talked to someone I asked for her name and the manager wouldn't answer me at all I called the cops and waited for them when they got there 2 talked to me and I said I wanted to make a report they waited till the 3rd officer came up from talking to them and said that I wasn't allowed in the store and I needed to leave did I understand that I said so u worried about that and not that I called and want to make a report because she threatened me in front of my 5 year old still no one care that I stood there in tears as my child had to watch I woman use a weapon and threatened me and the cops said well it's a store she was hanging up clothes no she was not I said so no one cares that I was mistreated and threatened ated in front of my child bc they said it didn't happen this is how stuff and people get hurt cops not caring is wrong employees threatened me calling me b words and mid treating me is wrong and to say there's nothing I can do about is even more wrong this woman walked up to me in front of my child and she had to watch her call me out my name disrespect me and threatenen me with the hanging pole

Rainbow Shops manager

Entire time I was in the store I was being watched as if I was stealing and I shop there frequently! my friend was also being treated as if she was stealing which made us uncomfortable, my friend said while I was in the dressing room the ladies were looking under my door making sure I wasn't putting anything in my purse, she wouldn't take the 10% my sale either. So rude I'll never ever shop here again ! By the way I'm with my 3 year old daughter, worst customer service I've ever seen! I was buying something for 12$ and she told me with the discount of 10% off it would still be 12$ total... I'm beside myself right now !

Rainbow Shops customer service representative

I place orders from Rainbow clothing store through a convenient app I have. I've spent good money with them all to have a VERY RUDE customer service representative Rebecca hang up on me. I thought my order was lost but it wasn't and I was only calling to get the shipping fee waived, but Rebecca who was sarcastic and very condescending advised me to look at my calendar and check business days from weekends. After arguing with the representative to get me a supervisor as she promised before, she hung up on me. The next representative that I was transferred to after calling the corporate office was very nice.

Rainbow Shops customer service

On Saturday, September 29, 2018. I went to Store #219, which is located in Roseville MI. I attempted to use a merchandise credit but was told by the cashier that she could not read the numbers which had rubbed off. She told me that I would have to call the 877 760-8639 Customer Service Dept to request a duplicate or gift card. I called on October 3, 2018 to speak to someone in the customer service Dept. My call was answered by Tamara. I explained the situation and she told me that this should have been taken care of in store. She said that she would call me back after speaking with that store's manager. She told me she would stay on top of this, and call me back. I didn't hear from her the rest of the day. And I called her back at around 3:30 pm. I was told by another agent that Tamira would call me back. As of 10/4 I have not heard back from her and I don't think I will. This agent just lied and chose not follow up. This is poor customer service and you can bet I am taking back the items I bought on Saturday, and will not patronize this store again.

Rainbow Shops customer service

I was shopping in Westland Michigan Store. I wanted to purchase two items. The manager proceeds to cash me out. I gave her a $100 dollar bill. She tells me that she don't have any change. I asked her you don't have change she said once again with a I DON'T CARE LOOK no don't have change. I said no twenties she said no change. My reason for writing this complaint is because the employee attitude was all about I don't care about getting this sale, I don't care to try and get some change, I don't care if you put the items back and didn't bother to apologize for not being able to take the sale. This did not sit well with me. I worked in retail for over 20 years and never told a customer that I did not have change in my cashwrap to take the sale. I would at the very least to see if customer would upsale to where I can give change. I would have apologize and would have invited the customer back. This type of behavior is not accepted in retail. I like Rainbow Shops I have managed a Rainbow shop before in my 20 years of retail. I can not support a retail store if they have employees that shows they don't care.

I will like to report the manager her customer service and attitude was disgusting she does not have any manners for the customers nor the staff. I did a return on 9/18/2018 @ approximately 10:15am while doing the return she said I have to wait or leave and come back in 1/2hour because she doesn't have money to give me for my return I told her that I cannot wait nor come back because it made know sense to me anyway someone was behind me and paid with cash I got back my money in the process she was extremely rude and have know respect towards the customers nor the employee With a attitude like that she does NOT deserve to be a manager

Rainbow Shops complaint against shopping assistant called "priyanka" (journal square, nj 07306)

I am writing to submit a complaint about an employee called Priyanka (who wouldn't tell me her last name) who works at the Rainbow store in Journal Square, Jersey City, NJ 07306.

I went to the Rainbow store in Journal Square in Jersey City today (Sep 14, 2018). I have been to the store in other locations too but never faced any rude assistants. Today, when I went to the fitting room to try out clothing I had picked out, there was nobody to check me in or even stop me from going in with my husband. There were two fitting rooms and one had its latch/lock broken. So my husband stood there to guard the room while I changed and this rude assistant Priyanka walks in yelling that he can't be there. She did not speak politely or ask him to leave politely (like regular assistants do). She didn't even have me go to the other fitting room or even tell me that the other one was vacant so I could move to it (since as my husband leaves, I cannot change back into my regular clothes as the door wouldn't close without him holding it). She just yelled at both of us rudely then left. If she is unhappy with her job, she can quit. Why is she making my shopping experience unpleasant? I buy clothes and jewelry regularly from Rainbow stores but this was my first encounter with a rude assistant in Journal Square. When I asked her what her name is, while leaving, she wouldn't tell me her last name and even then responded rudely. She said, "Sure, go ahead and file a complaint against me." I'm guessing she has no fear of getting fired or reprimanded hence behaves so rudely with customers. If she is frustrated with her job, please ask her to leave rather than taking it out on customers and yelling at them. It's her job to assist us with shopping and not make our experience worse.

Just to be sure that I wasn't given the wrong name, this woman has dark/black curly hair and was wearing black-rimmed glasses. She would be mid-aged or older.

I hope you will take action against this employee as rude assistants like her will make you lose more customers than you should, because the store always has trendy items that I want to go back for, but may not go back for because I do not want to interact with her again.

Rainbow Shops customer service

In Hobart Indiana I shop at all the time. Twice a week I go to this Hobart Indiana location on 7806 Ridge Road (37thAve)
This store never opens on time. The store hours are 10am. We stood outside for over 45 minutes waiting foe this store to open along with other customers! We waa told by the manager of the store (I believe she was because she had the key to enter the store) That she had to wait for another worker to arrived to open the store because it had to be two worker inside the store... This needs to be corrected. The worker was extremely rude to the other young lady when she ask "Are u open yet" She was rude. This happend today 9/2/2018 at 10am and lasted almost am hour. Several customers arrived and waiting outside and then they left. I counted atleast 8 that left. PLEASE FIX THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT HOBART INDIANA LOCATION BECAUSE U ARE LOSING ALOT OR BUYERS BY THIS!

Oh wow yea I been there a few times and they did this to us. We came there at 10am on a Saturday and the black female worker was cleaning and mopping the store. And after we waited we when she got through cleaning up the store then she unlock the door. And this was after 11am. So yea FIX THIS STORE CAUSE U GUYS ARE LOSING ALOT OF MONEY BECAUSE U ALL HIRED THE WRONG MANAGERS AND CASHIERS TO WORK FOR THIS PARTICULAR LOCATION! FROM ONE PISSED CUSTOMER TO ANOTHER

staff not familiar with the items, having there own conversations and as the only customer there at the moment no one offered assistance . while at the check out desk staff did not know about prices of in the store. staff was very rude when ask a few question. prices place on wrong items. there was item which had 3$ ta and 50% off tag ... the staff said it is 3.49$ .. how can that be and was very rude about it . staff over charge me for my stuff. on returning them . there are saying no returns possible with in a 1 hour space of my purchase. after explaining to both staff members what the signs in the store have . they realize there was wrong but because of their attitude i didnt want anything from the store. very unprofessional the manager/ supervisor was so angry and stated she will be back to other staff and headed outside to smoke. i really wanted the adjustment made but because of the attitude i return everything. rainbow shop is i store i shop for many years but the experience was not appropriate.

Rainbow Shops store condition

Went to the Rocky Mount, NC store and the air conditioner was not working. I shopped a bout 20 minutes and nearly passed out from heat. I hope that the conditions get fixed in the store because I really like shopping at Rainbow. The store clerk was very helpful and apologized for the conditions and help us find what we were looking for. I was with a large group of ladies and we live in Edenton NC and the store could have made a lot more money from us if the store was not so hot. I spent more than a hundred dollars and would have spent more. The other ladies did also. Please check into this.

Rainbow Shops rude assistants

Hello my name is shatarra huddman I shopped at one of your locations last week 7/25/18 on 5768 hollister st houston tx 77040 an was not satisfied with the service that was given african an american women were working with bad attitudes they have poor customer service disrespectful remarks were made to me about wearing the clothing an shopping at the store some of the coworkers were on their cell phones an just walking around I asked for help from one of the ladies instead she gave me nothing but attitude an just ignored me like I was a ghost standing there I also made a comment about the store location on the site but I checked to see if a manager or sombody over the manager checked it but it was deleted this morning I said I would never shop at this store again until corporate looks into it for more better assitances that knows how to properly assist customer service these women working here are ghetto an unprofessional an I hope someone looks into this because no customers should be treated this way especially when shopping at the store an spending our money on the products these women should be replaced immediately.

Rainbow Shops horrible customer service

I had the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE regarding a EXCHANGE at 219 W 34th St
10001 purchased a bodysuit that was on sale ($5.00). I was unable to try it on as I bought it on my lunch break. I was never informed on a restricted return policy and when I went to try it on and saw it would no way even fit I didn't attempt. I went to exchange it today and was greeted by a RUDE cashier who said "we don't return body suits" I informed her I NEVER wore it and was never informed that that was their policy. I asked to speak with the manager WHO'S name is MOHAMED. He actually rung me up yesterday and states they can't return it AND THAT THE RETURN POLICY WAS ON THE SIGN NEAR THE REGISTER. I FEEL I SHOULD HAVE BEEN INFORMED AT TIME OF PURCHASE AS THE PLACEMENT IS NOT EFFECTIVE AT ALL. I end up putting back other items I was plan on purchasing as well and will NEVER SUPPORT THIS STORE IN MY LIFE AGAIN. I HOPE TRAINS THEIR EMPLOYEES TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL AND QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE OR THEY WILL lose more than customers.

Rainbow Shops store#1143 employee tshanda

Yesterday I went into Rainbow in Dearborn I get 2 shirts proceed to the register to pay the cashier told me my total was $27.54. So i was getting money out to pay but was deciding if I was going to give her a large bill or just give her 40.00 while she was bagging my items so I gave her 40 dollars.
Cashier takes my money to cash me out then hands me my change of $2 and change I set the change she gave me back on the counter and told her I gave her 40 not 30 she said ok I gotta count down my drawer. So then she like my drawer right I said no I know what I had on me and I had no 10 dollar Bill's at all so another person counted the drawer and said it was correct. Mind you the lady body language changed when I asked for corporate.
So I call and she could barely talk..
So they are cheating ppl out there change back I believe she overpaid someone in there change and used mine to make the drawer correct. BUT WHEN I HAVE THEM IN CORPORATE RUN THOSE TAPES AND ZOOM IN THESE 2 WILL BE FIRED.I ALMOST WENT TO JAIL IN DEARBORN YESTERDAY.

Rainbow Shops service...

I arrived at a Rainbow shop located in Dallas, TX. I googled what time this particular store closed and it said they close at 9pm. I got there at 8:25... Some woman, in questionable attire danced around at the door and waved her hand at me, locked the door, told me that they were closed and would not let me in... Is it standard practice to close more than 30 minutes before time? I will definitely be calling the corporate office tomorrow morning! This store lost my business... I purchase very frequently from Rainbow online, and often frequent this particular store because it's close to my office... Not sure if the Rainbow stores are independently owned and operated, but again, corporate will hear from me tomorrow morning... Well, Thursday morning because tomorrow is a holiday... the reason I was trying to find something to wear in the first place... smh...

Rainbow Shops customer service

I'm giving this store 1 star because I can not give them negative 5 stars. I went inside of this store last night, just to grab a hat and a pouch for my daughter. I had been to another location earlier where customer service was great, I purchased my items showed my DD214 (MILITARY DISCHARGE PAPERS) and drivers license, received my 10% discount without issue. At this location on ORANGE BLOSSOM TRAIL by the Florida Mall as I walked around I was followed as if I was stealing but never asked if I needed help, and when trying to purchase my items I was denied my military discount along with rude customer service. I asked the cashier KARIN do they honor the military discount, she said yes I showed her the same papers and ID I had showed to receive the discount earlier that day. Grant it the form was on my phone which you could see my name dates of entering and leaving the military, as well as the type of discharge(it shows more info then our ID's. Karin said make the screen brighter and bigger. I did exactly that, however KARIN started saying I can't see it. She turns the phone towards me and clear as day you see my name that matches my ID and shows you my service dates. KARIN then starts to try and go through my personal military account, where the form was on. I noticed and asked for my phone back and asked why she felt the need to scroll through my account. She then tells me it says you where discharged from the military😐. My response is yes that makes me a veteran. She told me no I'm not a veteran, the DD214 doesn't show proof of military service. I guess at this point KARIN is pissed so she starts speaking to me in a very nasty way. I asked her does she know exactly what shes looking for, she said yes proff of military service😐. I asked for her name and the stores number, she refused, I asked for the managers name, she wrote KARIN and the store number on a piece of paper and said that was her name. KARIN told me she's the only manager in the whole district, then KARIN said to me "are you going to buy this stuff or what". I purchased nothing, I won't accept horrible customer service and pay you. I guess being retired from the military, going on several rotations during war doesn't qualify me as a veteran. FYI "Rainbow" military/veterans have several sites that show us where we can get discounts. 10% off isn't that serious, but customer service is. To be followed around, then treated and spoke to the way this Karin (if that was her real name) did was ridiculous. Rainbow you need to teach your employees what they are suppose to look for as well as customer service.

Rainbow Shops customers service

June 5, 2018 I experienced the absolute worse customer service from an rainbow employee. The girls name was Nakendra, I had over heard another one of her coworkers call her by name. When my friend and I walked inside the store we weren't greeted and offered any help at all. We both witness the Nakendra girl peeling the closing times off the door & actually closing the store an hour early. I asked her why is it that online the store says that they closed at 9 p.m & she responded with an attitude without any eye contact saying, "We have a meeting" when I first asked she lied about it saying, "we close at 8 everyday". This is the absolute worse customer service I have ever experienced & I will no longer give my business because of this uncalled for behaviour. I honestly believe customer service like this runs away a lot of business & causes the company to lose money. The location of the store is 510 S SW Loop 323, Tyler, TX 75702

I walked in rainbow at about 7:45 pm on 5/24/18. asked for help From something on the wall . Got attitude from the lady . As she was walking to get a stick she said damn clothes on the wall now ! I told her sorry for the inconvenience she said just not in a good mood .
Asked for a manager an she said iam the manager
So rude an disrespectful. I will never walk in that store again .

On May 22, 2018 at 7:30 pm I was gettIng ready to walk into the Rainbow located inside Princes George Mall I was told very rudely by 3 workers standing in the doorway that they were closed..I was given so much attitude...rolling of the eyes ..like it was my fault for not knowing them standing in the doorway meant they were closed ...I wasn't given a reason why they were closed so early or when they would be resuming operation ...I've been coming to that perticular location and also recommended/advertised items I've purshased for years ...After my encounter today I'm feeling very different about spending my money at any of your locations ...I love your great moderate prices but if I have to spend a couple dollars more somewhere else along with being treated with kindness it will be worth it ...it's the little things that count

Rainbow Shops check out service

Rainbow Shop at 571 E. 138ths street in Bronx, New York. I will never shop at any Rainbow again I will tell all my friends, coworkers and family members to never shop there again. The sale girl had an attitude problem..When I got to the register I was paying with my credit card ..I put the credit card in twice he said declined...I just had used my card...I felt discriminated against because I'm Black...But all the Puerto Rican cards work.. he asked me for ID but didn't ask the Puerto Rican's...for ID...I will never shop there again

Rainbow Shops I spent $32.10 and when I swapped my card it said declined they had me swap again and it goes right threw

I spent $32.10 and when I swapped my card it said declined they had me swap again and it goes right threw. I look at my bank and there was 2 changes for $32.10 they call the mgr she takes my info and tell me to keep the declined receipt. i did and I go back and the mgr tells me I have to come back in the morning I work in the morning so that is not possible. After telling the mgr how she is supposed to handle this she takes my info. I leave my banking proof and telephone number. I get a call this morning from the mgr saying they only have 1 transaction and I need to call my bank. That money went to Rainbow account so now I will have to see if my bank can get my money back. This is crazy Rainbow just lost a long time customer and I bought something else while I was there. Waiting on a resolution for the money that they already have of mine. Terrible!
