I was employed by this company from March 14, 2011 thru May 19th, 2011...I was hired a Hostess/Service, then got promoted the Shift Manager five (5) weeks later. During this time I have encountered the following:
Servers-
Not busing their tables during their shift or before leaving for the day.
Leaving premises without notification to MOD (Manager on Duty)
Taking breaks while having an open table/a table that hasn't been bused before going on break.
Having childish games like hide n seek, shaving cream fights, and being disruptive with LOUD obscene language/gestures.
Having servers coming on their day off wanting to work but ending going home because a certain GM wasn't closing.
I got a checking account 1 1/2 weeks into employment and asked said GM to have my paycheck "direct deposit" into my account...He said he would take care of it...it NEVER happened. I approached said GM about the issue...The reply I got was.."It's a call that YOU have to make..I will get you the number". and of course, this NEVER happened!

Management Team-
Having a General Manager so strung out on narcotic painkillers.
Having extra marital affairs on/off the clock.
Said GM can't perform duties because he is out of his narcotic pain medication and is "dope sick". With this being said, he also had an employee come in wearing "street clothes/flip-flops".
Keith Turbyfill wants the servers to answering the phone, answer the drive-thru window, seat people and wait tables all the while trying to make a decent living. When I asked him for more money to go along with the added responsibilities, he abruptly told me he would strip me of my management status and GIVE me .20 pay increase. He also told me he has NEVER fired anyone in 19 years but he would make it so miserable for that employee, that they either do it his way or quit..."McDonald's is hiring."

If this is what you call "excellent" management, then I am far better off to have left than be taken advantage of.

Sincerely,

Charlene D. Stipe

1. This isn't the "real world"! In the "real world" a business would run a lot smoother than this.
2. What do y'all do, copy each others homework?
3. How would you know who is "management (correct spelling) material and who isn't? I have been working in restaurants before you where an itch in your daddy's pants!

Pizza Hut and management should not be mentioned in the same sentence, in the UK the only critia for becoming managment is if you have worked there for longer then 2 weeks, not meaning anything bad about you. Do the USA have any employment rights?
