Rado Watch product

The golden colour Rado watch I bought from Abu dhabi Mushrif Mall faded gradually within one year. when returned to the store, they said it is by perfume even before inspecting the watch. the salesman added that the we dont guarantee the colour.

Is that true about guarantee and why its fading so badly on the edges. It is shame for such a brand like rado to discolour within 2 years while other cheaper brand does not discolour so fast as this. sad about the value I paid.

I really shocked and reached in embarrasing situation by seeing the such reputed brand gets in this condition . I have various brand collection and first time in my life, facing this kind of issue. Rado Watch black spots on the rado wrist watch

Dear Sir,
I had purchased a Rado Wrist Watch from Joy Alukkas few months back. Recently I found that the there were a few spots on the dial, which looks like rust. Hence I gave the same for repairs to the place I purchased from. The Job Card No. is KMJ/0961/18-19 dated 31-12-2018.
I was told that the same will be repaired within one month and I have to pay Rs.3000/- for the repairs.
I clarified with them, that the watch was under warranty, after which they said that the repairs will be done free of cost.
I am sorry to say that it is more than 65 days now, and I have not received the watch.
On inquiring with Joy Alukkas, I was told that it may take more time to get it repaired.
I am not wearing any watch for the past three months.
I also inquired if I could exchange the watch for some better or newer model, for which I was told to send a request mail to this address.
Hence I would like a clarification on the following points.
1. How does a Rado Watch get rusted within months of purchase
2. Why is it taking undue delay to repair a wrist watch.
3. If you are not able to repair the watch (or if the watch is of a sub-standard quality), kindly allow me to purchase a new & better quality Rado Wrist Watch wherein I am willing to pay the difference amount, after deducting the full amount paid for my previous watch.

Rado Watch Rado wrist watch

Just taken in for a new battery, report back rust inside the watch.
This is the last watch my wife purchased for me before she passed away, it means a lot to me, I am very dissatisfied as it does say it's water resistant.
I have treated this watch with extreme care and always enjoyed wearing it.
Is there any way it can be overhauled as it should not develop rust inside .
Would you be able to do something?

Rado Watch local reseller bad service n spoiled my watch

I'm the owner of three Rado time pcs. On the 15/06/18 I took my Rado Diastar to a Rado representative shop to have my battery change as it had stopped. The shop registered as Beauty Clock House (B. C. H.) in Ipoh Parade which is in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. The method of pressing time pcs against the side of wooden desk drawer with fingers n thumb to close up the watch. Upon inspecting my watch, its back is badly gashed due to prying attempts to open the watch. I sincerely hope Rado can help restore my watch at a minimum cost. As for the shop B. C. H., I hope Rado will not park it's brand conveniently. Will make sure to only patron Rado BOUTIQUE and never a shop that just carry it's brand or signboard. Thanks

Rado Watch local resellers bad customer service

Hi,
I live in abu Dhabi and bought a rado watch three years ago.
my watch has had a defect in which it delays four minutes every week.
I went to a rado service center and they gave it back after service and said that the problem was solved, only to find out later that it still persists.
I went to four service centers in the three years period and never got my problem solved.
But the last service center had its employees who got me fed up when they acted stupid on me and told me when I got back to them after their faulty service, when they told me that all automatic watches normally delay every week, this is so provocative and had me really dissappointed of this amount of carelessness these resellers have, so much that they smudge this trademark.
I need to get my watch fixed due to its manufaturing defect, and this is not what rado is supposed to be.

Please take the ncessary action.

Rado Watch my rado watch stop working

Dear Sir,
I am Francis Jacob from Kerala. I brought RADO watch (Model No. R [protected]) on 14-Sep-2013 from your retailer By Swiss Time House Retail Pvt. Ltd., Lulu International shopping Mall, Cochin, Kerala, costing Rs 43, 000/- and it got complaint after 1 years from the date of purchase and stop woring many times on every year. They service my watch for now in four times in every year. I am unhappy with the quality of product.

I have noticed this and given service for four times to the authorized respective dealers retailer By Swiss Time House Retail Pvt. Ltd., Lulu International shopping Mall, Cochin, Kerala and they had changed the battery and also replaced some parts on the watch in a duration of 3 month period. My last service is on 07-Jan-2018 and i got my watch on 17-04-2018. The service charge is Rs 1800. But the same issue was come after one week. Now my watch is not working. I had also got same complaint on last year 2017. And they had send my watch to Delhi for the better service. But after 2 months the same complaint was come. Now the watch was service for four times.
After all repairs the same complaint was repeated and the watch automatically stop working. Please replace the watch and give me a better new one.
We lost so many moneys for the servicing charges. Please refund that service charge amount Rs 1800. Please provide a good talented service engineer to rectifying the repair.
I might loose the trust on RADO. I am very disappointed with the quality of the product and service of your company. I am disappointed with this watch. Please replace the watch and give me a better new one. Please take care of your Customer because they are the only reason of your Goodwill. I hope that this will not happen to any Customer. I'm going to the consumer court for your company.

Rado Watch defective rado watch

I would like to inform you that I bought radon each in January 2017 but unfortunately the crown went out less than two weeks and they fixed for free but unfortunately it comes out again and they want charge me the cost of repairing I believe the watches was manufactured defective it has the same fault less than one year I am very sad the ROF No. 41101RFO00842 & identifications No [protected] I look forward to hearing from you thanks you very much

Rado Watch unprofessional behaviour of rado service centre in delhi

I purchased a rado cetrix automatic watch from Kuala lumpur which had an international warranty for two years. Only after using the watch for one month the lock broke. I took it to rado authorised service centre in delhi named Johnson watch co. they told me that it will take around two weeks for the watch to get repaired. after 2 weeks I called them up to check that weather the watch is fixed or not. they are not even sure how much more time it would take. they just say check after 1 week and hang up. it is a very unprofessional way to deal with customers who buy such expensive watches.

Rado Watch rado diastar watch, reference 01.152.0748.3.070, serial number [protected]

My wife purchased the above product as a 50th birthday gift to me in July 2012, and I actually received it from her and began wearing it in April 2013. I am very disappointed in the quality of the product, which I expected to last a lifetime with minimal maintenance. However not only has the battery needed replacing twice so far but also, there is now a fault with clasp on the strap. As a result I am now unable to wear the watch, which was chosen based on sound recommendations of both style and quality. The watch has been well looked after and not abused in any way. I look forward to receiving your prompt feedback regarding this issue.

I had an excellent opinion about this brand till this incident occur.One day all of a sudden I noticed my case slightly broken.I was shocked to see as it neither fall from my hand nor hit anywhere.I took the watch to a service centre,
but their response disappointed me.They are demanding Rs 33, 000 to replace the case.I am definitely sure that this is manufacturing defect.I request you to replace the case without charging me or else I would loose the passion towards RADO.

Rado Watch repair of watch

Sir,

This is regarding the Rado watch I purchased from Rivoli Mirdif branch on October 2015. Unfortunately there was some damage to the key of the watch. I approached the Mirdif branch for the repairs around July 25th 2017 and had gone out of the country for my vacation.
When I had returned, I got in touch with the Mirdif branch, they said that the damage wasn't repairable by warranty and that it would be chargeable. We had not caused any damage to the product so this is not a fair way to treat your customer, the company is wasting the customers valuable time and money.
So I kindly request you to do the needful as soon as possible.
I am waiting for your reply.

Rado Watch wrist watch

My name is ratna kaul, and I have purchased rado wrist watch.
while wearing, it fell on floor from my wrist without any jerk or any kind of external force, in ‘a friends get together’s party at one of my friend’s residence in lucknow, on 10.05.2017.
It was an embarrassment to me that a watch of such an international repute is not at all durable.

They could not repair it and sent it, with my consent, to ;

I am informed that repair charges would be rs. 44, 000.00, which I refused to pay.

This is very disheartening to find that rado, is not able to keep it’s own warranty promise to their customers, and asking for unreasonable money for repairs.
I am a lady of 68 years, and the objective of stating my age is to convey that I can handle my things very properly.
I am attaching the photographs of the watch and other relevant information.
Now, kindly make arrangement to replace it at your earliest.
I am suffering for no fault of mine.

Rado Watch rado glass falling off frequently

Dear sir,
I have given my rado watch (model no: [protected], serial no. R53739173 slip no.1695 on dated 13/04/2017 at vashi branch which goes by the name of maru time.
Bill no: (1695 dtd 13/04/2017.
Complaint is that watch dial glass is falling out frequently.
This is for the the forth time I am giving them my watch for repairs and the problem is same of glass falling off again and again.
They replaced dial & glass and given my watch after previous repairs but after some month again the same problem comes up.
Its really shame on reputed company like rado to sell such low quality watches in market for which I paid a huge amount of rs. 52000.00
Now I have lost all my trust in this company and want them to give me credit note for my watch so that I may purchase some other model of rado as there is no point in getting it repaired again.
I hope you will understand my concern and give me the credit note against my watch... Regards

Rado Watch Wrist watch

I have purchased a RADO wrist watch Ref. No. R22533123, Serial No. [protected] on 22nd Apr 2013 from World Time, S.V. Road, Andheri, Mumbai (iNVOICE NO. 7071).
My watch stopped working during March 2014 and I sent it to your service centre Mumbai (as suggested by Mumbai dealer) for repairing. After few days the dial glass came off automatically for which I sent again for repairing Mumbai service Center on 25th Oct 2016 and paid Rs 2210/- glass replacing cost (invoice no.SDM/08R3944/25-OCT-16). on 20th Feb 2017 again I found that my watch is not working and I replaced battery from Titan showroom of Bilaspur, C.G. and it worked for a week and again stopped working from 1st Mar 2017.
I love this watch because this has been presented by my wife on my birthday (23rd April), but unfortunately I am disappointed by this reputed brand watch performance. Earlier I've used TISSOT and ROLEX watches but I never face such problem and demoralizing situation, that you are wearing RADO and watch is stopped.
If you have any scheme please replace my watch or return my money. My watch is in a showroom condition without a single scratch.
Hope you will consider my disappointment and take immediate action to give relief to me.
Kindly do the needful and oblige.

Rado Watch rado 11 t2

I have bought an expensive Rado watch from Rupani bros.lucknow, Uttar Pradesh India.
The colour of the strap is fading within 6 months time which is not expected from the brand like RADO.I have sent my watch to the service centre from Lucknow, complaint number of the same is 5973.

Request if you can look into the matter and sort the issue on urgent basis.

The price of the watch is rs. 43000. The rado watch which no longer works, the watch is approx 2 years old. The watch right from the beginning the watch is running fast fore 35 to 40 minutes to a day.
I have noticed this and given two times to the authorized respective dealers in kerala, they had changed the battery in a 2 week period. But the same issue is coming.
After all repairs the same complaint was repeated and the watch automatically stop working.
I am very disappointed with the quality and service of your company, I feel the watch will have the same problem even if I get it serviced at your service center. I am disappointing with the watch and I would like to replace the product with a better one.
I request you to replace the faulty watch with a brand new watch.

The bracelet of my watch was not of good quality. The bracelet broken two times. And I given in your showroom. But Unfortunately, Next day i am facing the same trouble

This is not our fault. We noticed the fault and informed your service center.
I am very disappointed with the quality and service of your company, I feel the watch will have the same problem even if I get it serviced at your service center

I request you to replace the faulty watch with a brand new watch

Complaint is watches dial glass is separated from watch cause of not properly sticky the watch dial with glass. .They replaced dial & glass and given my watch properly.Now finished warranty of my watch. Rado Watch customer service

The glass fell out of this watch when it was whilst it was being worn. On discovery I went to local jeweller who is Rado agent and they forwarded the watch to Rado for repair. They advised that the glass needed to be replaced along with the bezel and in addition they advised that they had to service the watch to ensure everything was ok. The total price for this work was quoted at over £600! I was in no position to afford the remedial action so the watch was placed in its box and has sat in a drawer for a long time unusable. My father also has a Rado watch and the battery on his watch expired so he took it to a Rado agent in Letchworth and they sent the watch away. He was advised that the reason the watch battery was so expensive versus most watches was that the glass had to be removed to fit the battery. He was advised that this was true of all Rado watches. This had never been explained to me! I had a battery fitted on my watch a few months before the glass fell out but I did not associate the two events. Clearly the battery fitment was not done properly as the fixing paste failed and the glass & bezel were lost. This should have been recognised by Rado and reflected in he repair estimate for my watch which is now unusable. Surely brand loyalty is an issue for Rado? I loved the watch but the attitude to my problem as displayed by the service centre is in my view appalling. Where do I go from here? Emma Roche.
