Myself, my husband and stepdaughter all have had our card stolen from the racetrac in Palm Bay, FL on Malabar Road and Babcock. They take our card information and go to other gas station out of the area and put at least 3 charges on the card for around $99 dallars. They always try at least 3 times. We are not the only ones in our area. Just my family it has happened at least 5 times in the last 6 months. My stepdaughter tried to tell the manage about it and he did not want to discuss it with her. My neighbor hood has 5 pages of complaints. I think it is a inside problem. I will no longer go to a RaceTrac. Something needs to be done .
What a [censored]hole organization, what they need is a class action lawsuit filed in a state that has no cap on punitive damages, they need to be raked over the coals , only thing disgusting outfit like this does is lower overall customer service EVERYWHERE, can't believe there's 4 of you guys on here that got scammed by Racetrack ( Racetrack should be held liable for the garbage they hire if said garbage is gonna be stealing from people)and not a peep from them ... I hope wa wa pulverizes them !

I used my card to pay at the pump but it did not work so I tried another card but it did not work. have not had any problems with our cards not working. went inside prepaid $100.00 on pump 2. paid with the same card I tried to use outside Matt asked me if I needed the receipt. I said no that's fine. We went back to our truck and he did not turn the pump on. I waited a little and pushed the call or help button. Nobody responded so I went back inside. I tell Matt I just prepaid $100.00 on pump 2 and it is not on. it takes him a minute or so he walks out side comes back and says he sees what happen it is on pump 1 I said ok well I need it on pump 2 he started whispering to some blond older lady then comes back to me and says he cant refund the $100.00 I said i don't want a refund I need $100.00 in fuel on pump 2. Then he tells me somebody pumped $71.00 on pump 1. Matt continually tells me that I said pump 1 and that he always repeats it. I did not hear him repeat it. My 8 year old daughter has been sitting in the truck. In my astonishment of RacTrac scamming us for $100.00 I get back in the truck and growl under my breath. My daughter says what? I said we just got ripped off at RaceTac he put our $100.00 on pump 1 and somebody pumped $71.00 she said pump 2 I ask her if she remembered me telling him pump 2 she said yes you said pump 2 I ask her if she remembered him repeating the pump number she said no he didn't.
I think the percentage of people that would just pull up to pump and find it on and fill up maybe disturbingly high but i would say maybe 10% so i think chances are low that 1 out of 10 would do that and then just so happen Matt did not give me a receipt I may have noticed it said pump 1 when the pump was not on. If he had answered the call button. I could have poked my head to the other side and said excuse me ma'am was this pump already on? They were not concerned about who was on pump 1 they did not say leave your name and number and we will do our best to figure it out and someone will get back with you they just took our $100.00 and just nothing. would not even give me the number to the manager. I believe this was an inside team scam. They had somebody waiting with an empty tank and he purposely put it on the wrong pump.This caused me more problems. I had to cancel my cards waiting on new ones now. This happened about a year ago at RaceTrac Crystal River. They got my card info and used it at 3 other RaceTrac stores for 99 and 98 dollars. It is obvious RaceTrac has some issues. Never again will RaceTrac see any of our trucks

I had a charge on my debit card at a race track gas station number 336 $99.00 I don’t know where this gas station even located but it was Not me and I did turn it into my bank but I needed to know if I need to do more with you to find out who could be using my card without knowing my pin and how it even got put through without my Pin
Did the bank refund you the money? The same issue here Racetrac withdrew 99$ from my Bank of America account. I live in Seattle I never saw this gas station around and the fraud happened in LA. I called the bank they said they have no information about the transaction and all they suggested is to change my card. I never lost the card.How can they even withdraw money without using PIN? I’m closing my bank of America account for this cause I’m 100% convinced this is done from inside. Looters like always...
