Commercial is clearly homosexual in nature. A male voice asking another male to put it (toasty, footlong torpedo) in him? Unbelievable! This ad should be removed from the air. As for me, I will never eat at Quizno's again.

Talk about sounding ignorant. Let's go ahead and complain that someone does not like the commercial and bring out something that has nothing to do with the commercial or the matter at hand, like segregation or women's rights. Also not liking the commercial makes someone horny or a repressed homosexual? Ok, apples and oranges there. Really smart. And making it personal by attacking people making comments (you must be...), nice, maybe paragraph 2 applies to you more than you think.

I watched the commercial and the first thing that came to my mind is that the sandwich is a big one and will like to eat it. Nothing gay about that. There always is a perception by the people here in the us that food and sex go together. I like cucumbers, but if I write I like cucumbers the first thing that comes to an american mind is the cognitive association between a cucumber and an anus. US educate yourself before judging food commercials.

I really could never bring myself to eat another Quizno's sandwich after seeing that commercial. There is no way that mayonaise or meat balls or brown gravy could ever again be appetizing on a Quizno's sub after viewing that commercial. I have to agree with others on the homosexual content in the media; enough is enough...we get it, we still don't like it.

I agree that this commercial is really creepy, but the suggestion that it being homosexual is what deterred you is absolutely ridiculous. The creepy part is that they are trying to mix sex with food, and in a hot oven! Ouch!

This commercial is totally gay! How can it not be? WTF, the oven wants a big co$k inside it. Give me a MF break and give the "team" that made this commercial a huge dildoid where they need it most. I can't believe they got away with it. Must have a gay boss who enjoys erotic sandwiches in his pattuttee! Where there is a sub, there is a way (or a gay)! Freakin ###! Enjoy your sandwich! Me no eat that shiznit! Gimme Windys or Whataburger! Man food without the Man in my food.

If a commercial portrayed an oven with a sexy woman's voice saying "Put it in me, Scott" people would still be uncomfortable and not want to it aired while they were watching t.v. with their kids. Not liking this commercial does not make a person a homophobe. Anyone saying those not thoroughly enjoying this crappy commercial are homophobes aren't all that logical. This is coming from someone who CAN spell and has always been able to spell.

(Besides, why does Quiznos think mixing sex with people's food is a good idea? I hate to think what might turn up in some of their sandwiches.)

I saw 2 versions of the commercial...the one referenced on comedy central and on spike tv, and also a toned down version on tbs. The lesser one did not have "put it in me scott" and had some other phrase besides "say it sexier". The one on spike was right before some energy drink commercial where a guy in an office calls his ridiculously dressed secretary into his office, it pans to him facing away from his desk in his chair making all kinds of noises and groaning, then he jumps up and says "now I'm ready". I thought it was hilarious because they could put it on tv, same with the quiznos one. I'm not gay, and am a huge fan of women, but the commercial was not offensive. If it was offensive it was not supposed to be advertising to you. I applaud the companies who make different commercials tailored to different groups. If you are pissed, be pissed at the network who showed it. They had the option not to use that version but they felt it was acceptable. Quiznos was just trying to make a specific group, watching a specific channel laugh, and they got me!

Throughout this whole thing I forgot to add that is has nothing to do with homosexuality, its a clear reference to 2001: A Space Odyssey and the character "Hal".. Guess I was just so appalled at the gay bashing that I forgot that important detail.

I have to agree with Alex, you are clearly a hateful person. I was shocked when you called Alex that. If you had complained that the ad was simply to sexy to you this whole thread would be completlydifferent. MO4god? I am sick of people who think they speak for god. Yeah i would not be suprised at all if she pegged you. let me give it a try, you live in a trailor in a small town surrounded by white people, has never voted for a democrat and never will. Are secretly a member of the KKK. Do you want to know why they are having parades? Yes they are trying to get attention, they want the same rights as you do. My beautiful daughter is gay and when she gets married (if she is ever allowed to) her marriage will probably last alot longer than hetro, s. She wont take it for granted. Just admit that this is not about the commercial but about gay people and your hate for Obama.

Oh, I suppose everyone who supports equal rights is gay themselves? Lol I am very much heterosexual (and female) and I just happen to be open minded enough to realize that no everyone is attracted to the opposite sex.

Think of it this way.. if you woke up tomorrow and all of a sudden the world was flip flopped and being gay was normal and being hetero was wrong.. could you change your preference? If you were a man, could you start being attracted to other men? I personally couldn't. And I know 99% of people I've talked to about this couldn't either.

Its the same as your skin color or race, you just can't change it. I think once people realize this maybe they will see hating others because of their sexual preference is the same as hating someone because of their skin color. Imagine telling two black people they can't get married because they're black..

It will take some time just like any civil rights causes but I'm confident eventually homosexuals will have the same civil rights as everyone else. I can't wait for the day that gay bashing is no longer a joke but a punishable offense.

I feel M04 has registered a legitimate complaint, this commercial is extremely offensive to me also.
Alex, on the other hand, has registered the typical gay response, and implied M04 guzzles beer, is a bigot, and has a low IQ. Alex also hopes "Mo4's occupation does not put her/him" in contact with young children." This comment is absolutely silly.
I suppose in Alex's world perverted sex acts make one an intellectual, thus he is probably the top student in his 7th grade.

Wow I just realized you were the original poster. I guess trying to reason with you would be like beating a dead horse.

At least I'll admit that I know how strongly I feel about equal rights for everyone.. and how no one could make me ever believe that homosexuality is a mortal sin.. so I guess by that same logic.. it would be quite a miracle if someone such as yourself would ever open your eyes, let go of your hatred, and treat others as you'd like to be treated (thats in the bible btw, so you should know it!)

I can just hope your occupation doesn't put you in contact with impressionable young children.

Maybe you didn't read the original post.. let me rephrase it for you.. "I don't like that quizno's commercial because it depicts homosexuality between a quizno's worker and a toaster oven. In fact I will never eat at quizno's again!"

Not enjoying a commercial is fine, but blasting it on this board because it "seemed" homosexual to you is just pathetic and bigotry at its finest.

What's going on today really isn't so different from segregation or the fight for womens rights. Hating someone because of how they were born.. sounds pretty similar to me.

You guys sound so ignorant its almost funny. Hundreds of hetero commercials depicting sex and straight "lovin" every day, but one commercial with a male voice toaster oven and another man is just too much right?

I've seen that commercial dozens of times and I never even though about a gay factor.. you must be really horny, or a repressed homosexual to read into the ad that way.

Im sure you were upset that segregation was outlawed and women got equal rights but if you'd just drink another beer instead of opening your bigoted mouth you'd save yourself a lot of embarrassment.

I'm appaud about this whole gay ###! Enough is enough! So your gay let's have a parade and have a pat on the back and have everyone kissing each other and have our children get to see gay commerical, gay politians, and gay teachers, oh i'm so excited! NOT!

Unfortunately Obamas next stunt is even more outrageous than the staged 'panic' flyover of the Statue of Liberty -- he's going to appoint a gay to head the new Homeland Diversity department. As part of the press event he will kiss the guy on the lips during his introduction. This will get people "used to" seeing men kiss each other the same way seeing the plane flying by the SOL was used to get people "used to" people seeing planes fly around new york again without generating a real panic.

I don't give a rat's ### what people do in their bedroom! So please Gay people stop making it everyone else's business. Please keep it to yourselves. As far as commerical go, get real you idiot's that make sex out of our food. What does food have to do with your ###in anus? I am so tired of your gay parades and your rainbow ###. Why should we care what you do with your body parts. I don't want it flunted in my face every single day. Leave it alone already. We get it!

well ya know with all the new gay marriages being recognized you are going to have to get used to seeing more ads targeted towards gays, etc. I gave up TV ten years ago you should try it, in just a couple years, you'll start to realize you are way smarter than the people around you -- i think TV must sap peoples brains or something over time.
