We purchased over 1200 sq' of laminate flooring in Sept. 04. It was installed according to directions, using top quality underlay. The laminate started to separate and huge gaps showed. I called Quickstyle. Joe DiNardo came to our house on April 18/07. He said he would take a report but that it would take a few weeks to get back to us. We didn't hear from anyone from Quickstyle. I called Joe back on Nov. 21/07 and asked why no one has called me. He said he has been "waiting for paperwork" from the store where we purchased it and that a report hadn't even been submitted to head office. He said he has been "very busy". This was 7 months later. He said he would call the store and get back to me "right away". It's been almost 2 months and, again, no one has called from Quickstyle and he hasn't called me back. Recently, while in RONA, I told a customer about the flooring so that he would consider another brand. He told me that he knows it's "crap". He was installing it for a customer and it was breaking off at the ends where it comes apart. He referred to the product as "garbage". An employee of a large store that sells Quickstyle says that they have a lot of problems with them. I guess that once they've sold you the product, they couldn't care less. DO NOT BUY QUICKSTYLE FLOORING! There is also another complaint on the BBB website about them not solving a customer service issue. I've had 2 contractors tell me that the product is defective--it doesn't clip properly.

I had the worst possible experience trying to buy quick style laminate tonight. Sent to 3 different Home Depot locations of 300 kms of driving and at my final destination the Home Depot in Whitby wouldn't honor the price as stated on their website. After calling Home Depot customer service. Anita #8921 couldn't guarantee me a call back ever. These were her exact words. It's not bad enough I read these reviews on the product. But I can guarantee the sales and support from their retailers is absolute garbage at best. 8 hrs, transponder fees and $100 in gas and still came home empty handed because of a sku number of a bulk purchase didn't match what they had in stock. And they couldn't even show me the sku # of the product they had on their website. Whitby location has the customer service equivalent of fast food restaurant with no name and no accountability, I can't believe Home Depot deals with customers in this fashion and after contacting customer complaints department Anita, could not guarantee me a follow up call on the issue. Leads me to believe they have the # to show they have it. Not to actually deal with customer complaints. If like to thanks the very useless staff at the Whitby location. Thanks Mike and Carlo or Carlos. There inability to resolve a customer problem is disgraceful. They deserve to be a customer service rep at the entrance of a plaza or hospital as a volunteer directing people in the wrong direction at best

Bought 42 boxes of this at Rona and have had nothing but problems installing the 10 mm in my basement. The rows don't " autoclic together properly and when you get a few rows in they seperate so easily. its hard to click a whole row of 4 or more boards at a single time. Will be returning 37 boxes of it and going with a true laminate that will install much better without the hassle. Quickstyle sure isnt quick! Definately wouldnt buy this garbage again. Buyer beware.

I purchased 20 boxes from Home Depot, and then another 16 boxes of product labelled Chocolate Oak SW82. The two purchases differ, like night and day. Though they have the same skewer numbers, the 20 differ from the 16. I am having extreme trouble finding enough of the shinier finished (20 boxes) to complete my job. HELP Please advise as I am so frustrated.
I am a reporter, but work out of my home, so can be reached any time.
Thanks in advance
Corrie

im a flooring installer thats been in the business for 15 years. quickstyle is the only laminate that i have had troubles with. im dealing with an issue with 1150sf of this junk in a customers home as i type. butt joints just come apart. the store in which the product was purchased sent an inspector report stated installer issues. ive done nothing different on this install than on the 1000's of other jobs ive done with different products. the only laminate problems ive ever had were quickstyle.
