Quantum Merchant Services

The President lied about the costs, upfront fees and promised free point-of-sale equipment. When we did not open a Merchant Account with Quantum, he charged our business $445

I asked him more than once, "So these are all the charges we will be paying?". "So you have no monthly add-on fees?"

When I told Rob Olson, who represented himself as the President of Quantum, I expressed my concern that there were fees that he did not disclose to me. His response was: "there was a lot of things that I didn't tell you"

Later he explained in an email to me: "Our industry is VERY complex. I can't explain EVERYTHING we have to offer or you fall asleep listening to it. "

This was his excuse for not disclosing the fees.

As far as equipment, he promised two free card swipers and then, later on, was only willing to send one.

I am so happy that I caught his empty promises before opening an account. Be careful. He will charge your account anyway! $445.00

PLEASE DO NOT INITIATE BUSINESS WITH QUANTUM MERCHANT SERVICES AND DON'T TRUST ROB OLSON.

1.) ALL fees are disclosed in the contract and is not an active account until the customer signs the agreement. Quantum is charged fees when a customer closes their account, so we have an early termination fee in our agreement of $445.00.
2.) This person claims that we charged them $445.00 to cancel an account and then goes on to say they never opened an account but we charged them anyway. This would be illegal and our bank would not allow it. We have NEVER done this, nor would we! I challenge this complaint as false and it should be removed. If you don't like the terms of any contract, don't sign it.
3.) Our agreement is written by First Data Merchant Services and is 39 pages long. There's NO WAY to disclose everything on it. That's why we email it and should be reviewed before signing, which you did. Don't blame Quantum if you don't like the terms, just reject it, which you did.
4.) Negative reviews like this hurt small businesses. Please consider this before posting information like this.
