On 9-15-08 I bring my 1994 GMC Yukon to Quality Auto Centers located at 254 Valley St, South Orange New jersey 07079. I tell the (manager) Ray that my truck will not go over 20mph while driving. Ray (Manger) informs me that I needed a full tune up, later that day he called to tell that I need to have my gas line replaced and that this will fix the problem with my truck.

I tell ray to do the job, so later that day I pick-up my truck and ray presents me with a bill in the amount of $778.15. I pay the bill in full, and leave with my truck thinking all is well the very next day I start to smell a strong odor of gas coming from the truck. On 9-17-08 I take my truck back to Ray (manager) and I tell him about the problem, so I leave the truck at the Quality Auto Center. The manager (Ray) calls me, and tells me that the other end of the gas line needs to be replaced. When we talked on 9-15-08 I was told that he replaced the gas line from the end to end. So once again I give him permission to repair the problem, I pick-up the truck later that day and Ray informs me the he took the truck out for a test drive and it works fine.

Ray gives me a bill in the amount of $277.44 I pay the bill and drive off with my truck on the way home I stop at the local food town to pick-up a few items. I get back into the truck and it will not start so I called Ray at Quality Auto center and he sends to mechanics to so whets wrong with my truck. After about 10 minutes the mechanics get the truck started and drive it back to the Quality Auto Center located at 254 Valley St, So, Orange NJ.

Ray tells the mechanic to put the truck on the lift this time Ray tells me that my fuel pump is bad, and it will cost me $500 to fix the problem I tell Ray what you take me for a FOOL!!
I leave my truck at the shop and I tell him to fix my truck and I will not pay him another dime as it stands I have spent over $1, 005.59. I really feel that I have been taken advantage of, and this business is trying to rip me off by doing poor quality work and over charging me for a job that should have been done right from day one.

    I am experiencing a VERY similar issue with the same auto center and the same manager. If you can, please send me an email of your contact information so that I can be in contact with you. I anticipate on filing a complaint, and law suit against them if I have enough people who are or have experienced the same issue. My email is
