This is a very unprofessional and pathetic student accomodation agency. International students do not know all the laws of australian rentals so please do not get stuck with these pathetic student accomodations ! They will charge you more and once you start staying, they will not reply to any of your complaints and they will not get any problem repaired but if they dont like you, they will just refuse to renew your lease without any reason.
Stay away from QPIS ... come to australia, stay in a Backpacker accomodation for some time and look for accomodation from your university website ...
Hope you guys do not get cheated !

I completely agree. Do not rent from Qpis, they are horrible to deal with. At the beginning of the lease they told me I should contact them with any maintenance problems and they will send somone out right away - a total lie! They ignored complaint after complaint with a "we're looking into the problem". Reid the maintenance manager is probably the worst person at his job. He does not get back to you unless you hound him and threaten to go to the RTA (check out your rights at www.rta.qld.gov.au). From the receptionist to the property manager you get the full run around. I agree when coming to Australia, stay at a cheap motel or backpackers and look for student accommodation through your uni website.
