Qatar Airways flight (last call) & attitude

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I was coming flying back from Istanbul (SAW) to Doha on 22/04/2017. My flight was scheduled to leave at 19:30, however boarding had not begun until near to the time (flight was slightly delayed). Me and my two other colleagues decided to go to the lounge to get some food. When we saw the flight screen it said "last call" we rushed down to our gate. When we got their the manager of Qatar Airways said we are not allowed to board the plane because we were late. However, this did not seem to be the case as the plane was still on ground and connected to the gate. Additionally, it said on the flight screen "last call". I have taken a picture of this for evidence and the time of the picture taken has been recorded automatically. The manager was very rude to my colleague and he shouted at her saying that he would "blacklisted her". I found this very unprofessional. This is all clearly evident on CCTV. Me and my two other colleagues would like a refund for our flights as we feel that we have been very unfairly treated by your staff/ company.

Qatar Airways journey with many troubles from "check in" staff

Respected Sir,

I am working in a very respectable and responsible seat in a well known organization of Govt. of Pakistan. To perform Umrah i preferred to travel on Qatar Airways with my sister, my wife and my son (Aged 1 year and 8 months) on 04th March 2017 with very bad experiences of Qatar Airways airport staff on each side.

At first I purchased 2 tickets of details below, from a travel agency located in Islamabad:
1 ticket of Adults PNR: 47QZJE (ticket Attached as attachment1)
1 ticket of infant PNR: 4PJ34V (ticket Attached as attachment2)

My first trouble starts when I shown my tickets on “Check In” Counter of Qatar Airways at Islamabad International Airport, the staff regretted for my Check In and they ask me to purchase a new ticket of my son from Royal Office because flying dates on ticket are incorrect. After many dialogues there was no way for me & I bought a new ticket (ticket Attached as attachment3).

I was travelling at QR 633 at 03:15 AM but the Royal Agency issued me Infant’s ticket of QR 615 at 09:25. Your Check in Staff adjusted the infant in QR 633 at 03:15 without any objection.

Sir if they can adjust any other timing’s ticket to the before flight then why they can’t adjusted my previously purchased ticket. As I knew just a payment receipt and ticket number is required for infant (in case of no seat).
After then I contacted to my travel agent in Islamabad and he refunded his first ticket of my son.

My second trouble starts on my departure from the Jeddah Airport on 25th march 2017.
At “Check In” Counter I showed my Son’s ticket that was purchased from Royal Office Islamabad Airport, the staff regretted me to check in and they said to buy a new ticket because lack of their knowledge at last I arranged money very hardly at that time on airport and bought a new ticket third time of my son (ticket Attached as attachment4) as that ticket was the dated of 1st May 2017 instead of 25 March and of a child ticket instead of infant.

Sir, Your staff is held responsible for disgraced and wretched of my whole family on the whole of my travel, wastage of my precious time and money as at that time my veins were stretched with tension and all of my family was worried and praying.

Looking for a prompt response and a marvelous compensation of the loss of my money and anxiety.

Qatar Airways first class disaster

Whatever you do, do not book this airline - here's a timeline of events and a summary of what happened to us!

Timeline, 24/ 25 march 2017
14:15- due to depart from london heathrow, qr4

15:00- left heathrow, 45 minutes late - no explanation why

01:00- due to leave doha for dubai international airport, qr 1002

12:45 arrived in doha late so missed the connection - was not directed anywhere for our transfer, I had to ask random staff in the airport where to go

01:00 managed to get to the transfer desk where no one was manning the first class desk - waited 15 minutes for someone to come and speak to us - wasn’t acceptable for first class. when the member of staff did arrive, we were told that the next plane was at 02.30am, we were issued new boarding passes for the next flight (qr1004). there was no mention of any delays or bad weather.

02:00 checked in at the gate for the flight, was no seats, no separation for business class/ first class passengers - we stood for 45 minutes until we were told that there are delays due to bad weather.

02:45 (approx) the gate opened and there was an announcement asking first class passengers on the plane - everyone stampeded to the door and the staff were allowing them to pass - we had no chance of getting through. as first class passengers, we have paid an extortionate amount for the service but yet I had to go to the front near the door whilst everyone was giving me horrid looks and to be told by the staff to stand in line (there was no line just a herd of people all over the place). I showed her my ticket so she let my husband and I pass.

02:55 (approx)- we got onto the plane, were seated. an announcement was made by the staff to say that there was bad weather and that we should take off in 10-15 minutes. an hour later, the same announcement was made but this time it was said 20-30 minutes. another hour later, we were told that the plane was in a long queue due to the backlog, the weather was fine to go. there were no announcements after that and the plane had hardly moved. so my husband had to keep asking the steward for updates. the pilot only had the courtesy to speak once. we were stuck on the plane for 5 hours exactly! we were not even allowed to get off our seat to go to the toilet. my husband asked for some water to take for his medication, 4 hours into the wait and he was told rudely - ‘we are about to take off, not now’. it was absolutely unorganized and inhumane to force everybody to stay in a plane which was not moving for 5 hours and with no substantial update. the plane eventually moved to the front of the queue to the runway and we were next in line to take off. we could see from the window planes landing and taking off alternatively on the runway. just as we were about to leave (to our relief), another plane qatar airways aligns side by side to us and takes off. we were then told that our plane is cancelled due to no slot allocation at dubai intonation al airport and we then had to go back to the airport - we were held for 45 minutes after that message - it was torture sitting in a confined space for 5 hours when it should have been a 55 minute flight.

08:00- we got on a bus to the airport and weren’t told where to go or who to speak to. using our initiative, we queued up at the transfer desk (yet again!) and was told to go to the lounge and wait for updates.

08:10- we waited in the lounge but were not informed on anything until we got up and went to the desk to ask - we were told, ‘sorry, the flight is delayed due to the weather’. after half an hour, we were told that we would receive new boarding passes. we were then issued boarding passes for a flight boarding at 8.45 (qr 1024).

09.00- we got onto the plane after having to go through a large crowd and ask staff to let us through as we were first class passengers - again! after getting onto this plane, we were given updates by the pilot and staff saying we would leave in 10-12 minutes (but we didn’t) then again saying ‘sorry due to weather conditions we are delayed’ then again to say ‘due to slot allocations we will leave soon’ and again to say ‘ delayed for passengers connections, waiting for their suitcases and paperwork to be sorted’. 5 buses of people had arrived at this time which I saw from my seat. there were conflicting stories - the weather, slot allocation to land in dubai and then waiting for passengers’. the communication between all of your staff is so bad, we were left out of the loop and when told reasons, everyone had a different story - false information.

11:30- finally left doha for dubai 2 hours 45 minutes later!

Summary
• in total it took us 24 hours to get to dubai, when it should have only taken 10 hours max.
• in total we were stuck on planes for 9 hours: 45 minutes on qr4, 5 hours on qr1004, 2 hours 40 minutes on qr1024 just waiting for no substantial reason.
• there was an identical flight landing to dwc at the same time as our flights at 02.30am - they reached fine with no weather issues, so why didn’t we? why did we have to wait 5 hours on that plane!? so why was everyone blaming the weather because we saw many planes take off and we know that the dwc plane went to dubai with no issues.
• we are frequent flyers with emirates and fly first and business class all of the time. we were ‘wowed’ by your advertising campaign on business travel but we are extremely disappointed with the way you handled the delays and treated us at every stage of the journey.

After complaining to them, they gave me a template reply with 'standard lines', apologized and said there's nothing they can do! if they treat first class passengers like this then i'd hate to think what they'd do to economy passengers!

Qatar give a very BAD service to Business Class passengers. I had 10 hours delay on my flight from Singapore to Brussels via Doha and NO compensation except for Qatar Miles. I was 1 minute late for the connecting flight (due to delay of Qatar Airways) and they didn't wait for me.
First and last time to Singapore with Qatar Airways.

It is not a complaint against the first class service of the four stars exellent Qatar Airways,
but an operational staff related to each airline in everyday opearations.
I can not advise "to seat at home, and do not fly" to the author.
But all ailines hate such booring passengers, which expect priveleges in the time and in the place,
where such priveleged service must not be expected by the airline.
The only issue:
the four stars exellent Qatar Airways dalayed 2 conncting flights for all passengers, not for first class passenger only.
Though the author as well as most of the first class travelers can not prove their losses.

Qatar Airways payment not received

Hello,
I arrived in Melbourne on the 27th of November 2016. Qatar Airways brought my baggage after 9 days and my man suit was stolen from my baggage. I made complaint about this and the baggage service company (Dnata Baggage from Melbourne) asked me to send them a lot of documents, including the receipt of the suit. Fortunately, I had all the documents, and I sent them to Dnata Baggage in the requested time frame. Since this day (18th of December 2016), 3.5 months already passed. I sent tens of emails to Dnata Baggage, and nothing happened. They didn’t answer anymore.
I made complaint to Qatar, and Antonius Gunawan ([protected]@au.qatarairways.com), Airport Services Agent - Melbourne sent me the following email:
"Upon investigation, we were advised by our courier company, the bag was plastic wrapped and a small part was opened to allow handles to be pulled up. Furthermore, there were no signs that bag has been tampered.
In this instance, unfortunately we will not be able to proceed with your claim."

Actually, the baggage was opened when the mailman brought it to me, and the zipper was broken. I wrote on the document brought by the mailman the fact that the baggage was opened and there is an empty space inside. I asked Antonius to give me the name and the company the mailman works for, because I would like to sue him. He provided to Antonius misleading information. I showed to the mailman the broken bag and the fact that it was a big empty place in the bag. When the mailman arrived at my home, some other friends were there, and they are able to confirm this.

Dnata Baggage has all the documents, photo, and information related to this situation.
Please, be so kind to solve this as soon as possible. My suit was very expensive and the next step is to sue you and to get my money back. I honestly paid the flight ticket and it was the Qatar Airways duty to take care of my baggage. Qatar has rules, so, they must respect them. I sent all the requested documents to Dnata Baggage; now I would like Qatar to respect their own rules: to refund the money I spent for my suit.

Qatar Airways ticket change

I bought tickets for my parents for unmra at qtr airline because of my trust on its service and today they are suffering because of my decision.the ticket provided to us in return at jeddah airport for flight 1189 was change due to unknown reason to 1187 and no one inform us my parents show the ticket to staff but they were told that at this time 1187 flight is bording u should contact later.later at flight 1189 they were told that as per system their flight were 1187.now they are ruining over their .i contact the local office at peshawar but they told me that the ticket is ok those people are misleading them.to whom should i complaint now.only way now from onward on social media as much as i can will told all that never trust on qatar airwYs.

Qatar Airways air travel

To whom it may concern

Qatar airlines has been my first choice to travel with until recently that I had a round trip from Tehran to Doha and Seoul and came back to Tehran.
QR 499 – 16 March
QR 858 – 17 March
QR 859 – 24 March
QR 482 – 24 March
Unfortunately during this round trip I found several inconveniences.
1- After arrival to Incheon Airport- Seoul we found that one of our bags has not received.
The next morning they brought the bag to our hotel; the wrapping has been opened but nobody explained us why this problem happened and no body made any apology.

2- During my flight from Seoul to Doha, the breakfast menu was finished.
3- During my flight back to Tehran, I asked for a headset to watch a film. The attitude of the host was not friendly.
4- During serving the breakfast, the tray was fallen, the host gathered the items from the ground and served it to the travelers. Once again four boxes of omlettes were fallen on the ground; some of them became opened and the food were spoiled the ground. Once again, he gathered the boxes of food and served it to travelers. I asked the opposite side host to give me my serving she refused.
5- During our previous flights, the airplane went very calm and without oscillations; however, this time all the flights had severe oscillations.
I would be thankful if you kindly re-evaluate your processes.

Qatar Airways 21 hours without hotel, without also giving me a transit visa that I will pay for because I am egyptian (Racist)

My QR booking Number is (2V487D) I Was flying from boston to Alexandria on March 12, and i have 21 hours and 50 minutes layover.I called them before for a hotel and they told me that they will reply after three days.Then, They told that On your particular booking, complimentary accommodation cannot be offered as the directional value is less than USD400 and i should pay 125 $.I called them the day after and asked if i can get a transit visa as i have my sister in qatar working there so she can host me.The customer service told me that i can get a transit visa in the airport with a 55 $.I arranged someone to pick me up according the "reliable " information from the customer service .Then, when i got to the transfer desk they told me "we sont offer this service to EGYPTIANS" and asked me before do you have visa for any other gulf country and i have a way better visa "the american visa" and then he told me sorry we cannot offer you the visa. I will not forget this, staying 21 hours in the airport.being lying at from their customer service offfice and being racist by preventing me to get the visa just because i am Egyptian.I will not use qatar racist liar airway again and i will also lead a campaign against it.totally inhumane service

Qatar Airways baggage

Pathetic service. No one weighs carry on baggage any morebut they did and then the agent told me that i could get a back pack to transfer stuff. so i go buy a back pack and then they say that we cannot allow. I had to end up paying extra for checking that bag in. I had never encountered this prob before. I travel a lot and never encounter r this problem.

Qatar Airways booking number 45 hk fr - 03/03/2017 wellington - rome, 2 travellers

On 03/03/2017 I have tried more than 5 times to book the travel online on your website. After I have inserted all my and my partner details, meal preferences etc it appeared a message: "We are unable to confirm the fare for the flight you have selected.Please choose a different fare or flight and resubmit your request [protected]". I have called [protected] # and they made a reservation for us for more than NZ$ 3891 when online the price was 3.476.98.They told me to call [protected] and after a long call, the operator sent me a new booking with a new expiring date instead for the 3rd for the 4th of march saying to try again to book it online while my booking was still standing in the meantime till 11. pm.
Tomorrow I will try to book it again for the price shown on the website but I would like to ask you the reason why I have to pay almost NZ$ 500 of difference and none of you was able to tell me a valid reason. If the system has problems and you know it you can just stop it and fix it. From my point of view is not correct to arrive to book an itinerary till the 3/4 of the passages and not to be able to finalize it after 3 hours spent by phone without a solution.

I look forward to having valid explanations and paying the amount of NZ$ 3476.98 and not almost NZ$ 3900.

Qatar Airways bad service

I was on your flight on sunday and I was very disappointed with the service because I found them very rude . So when I buzzed for a drink they never came over so I had to go up there and get my drink . Really not happy with your service . Qatar airways i have had a very bad experience . Hope I don't wait too long .

Qatar Airways I have complaint about female hostess.

Hi, i have complaint about female hostess.
on 1/Feb/2017 i came from dubai at 18:40 QR 1013
the hostess was female indian i don't know her name but she was that time at same flight
she treat me very badly she was impolite when she talk to me regarding foot rest she shout to me in front every body saying ( put it up ) as if I'm her serving she was very rude
even she didn't say excuse me or please, that is happen before take off i put it up without saying any thing.. but she came back to me after 20 mint and she told me agin very badly
put it up i told her can you talk me in nice way, , , she answer me " put it up i will come back for you to see you " what is this ? she mean to bather me. please i need action regarding her .

Qatar Airways delayed delivery of my luggage

Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing to complaint about a delayed delivery of my luggage which let me to suffer the cold of winter in Salzburg / Austria, my final destination.
I paid a ticket for a flight Entebbe – Doha – Vienna (Airline reference: 2D3V7G, Electronic ticket number: [protected]) as you can see from the pictures attached, to attend a medical seminar on "bone and joint surgery" in Salzburg. The flight delayed for 2hours in Entebbe on the 21/01/2017, which lead me to the consequence of missing the corresponding flight to Vienne. Another flight was rearrange for me to reach Vienna via Budapest with assurance that I will find my luggage in Vienna. Surprisingly I reach Vienna late than expected by the original itinerary to allow me to attend on time the beginning of the seminar and on top of that my luggage containing my needs and my clothes against wither wasn’t there.
I reported the case to Vienna airport branch of Austrian airline which took me from Budapest (File reference: VIEOS61510) on 22/01/2017 and continue to Salzburg by train (OBB Company).
From my arrival in Austria on 22/01 up to today 24/01/2017 when I have just received my luggage I was suffering with winter cold because I didn’t plan to buy winter clothes here which I had already in my delayed luggage with risk of falling sick.
I demand my complaint to be put into consideration and demand reparation.

Qatar Airways cash stolen on board

Dear sir/madam,
On 31st december 2016 at 10 pm, I boarded on qr 1019 to travel back to doha. My seat no. Was 16c (Eticket no. [protected].
Since the overhead cabinet above my seat was full already and I had one hand bag and one plastic bag with two gadgets purchased from duty free. I put these two bags on the overhead cabinet of seat no. 18 e (Central left) and settled on my seat 16c.
My hand bag was carrying my laptop, my passport, my purse etc. I my purse, I had cash qar 10889 / - and a small amount (400inr+20sar).
When reached doha, I took my bag and unboarded, collected my baggage and came home. When I opened my bag and opened the purse to put the cash in home locker, I was shocked and surprised to see that all the cash from the purse is vanished, not a single currency note was left in the purse.
Qar 10784 / - I had exchaged from duty free exchange at dubai airport, I have evidence of it.
I am 100% sure, that some one (Passanger or cabin staff or ground staff at dubai airport-who were on board for a while, doing so many activities. ) on board only has stolen my cash with full ease and confidence while I could not notice it, because the bag was two seats behind of me. The thief did not touch my qatari id, passport, bank debit and credit cards in the purse; he/she only stolen the cash.

I am sure, being the world's best airlines, qatar airways aircrfts must have cctv cameras in the flight to trace the activities. Kindly help me find the theif of my cash and punish him/her appropriayely.
I am sure, my complaimt would attract proper attention of concerned authorities of qatar airways and some positive result would come out.

Qatar Airways unfulfilled journey to budapest on 25/11/16 via qatar airways – request for refund

I purchased an air ticket via Qatar Airways in Riyadh on 24/11/16, in the anticipation of flying to Budapest for my dental appointment on 25/11/16 at 11.30am. (i.e. Last Friday) My ticket reference no.7TS39G. I was boarded the flight QR1167 around 3.15am on 25/11/16. The aircraft taxied to runway. Just about to take off, the pilot announced that the maintenance crew have to issue a maintenance certification of clearance.
Therefore, the aircraft taxied back to apron area at Riyadh airport. The Pilot also said that the passenger safety is important for Qatar airways. All the passengers were in the flight till 6.00am. I was panicking. I have to catch my connecting flight at 6.30am in Doha and I queried my situation with on board air hostess. She replied that the ground crew will be awaiting for me to care of myself at Doha airport.
Eventually, the aircraft took over in the sky and reached Doha airport 7.00am where I missed my second scheduled flight to Budapest (at 6.30am). I was so annoyed, there is no ground crew to help me. I reached the Qatar airways help desk at Doha airport. I was on the queue more than an hour with other passengers. Your representative Faruq was trying to help me to board me on to an alternative flight to Budapest. He understood my situation and stated that there is a British Airways flight leaving to London at 09.50am which will reach Heathrow terminal 5 at 14.15pm. I could catch another flight to Budapest at 18.15pm Heathrow terminal 3 which reaches Budapest 21.40pm.
Primarily I agreed his suggestion, however I said that I have to ring my Dental Clinic in Budapest whether they open on Saturdays for a new appointment and in order me to continue my journey. Because of the difference time zone, I couldn’t able to speak to the receptionist at the dental clinic in Budapest. But I left a telephone message, explaining my situation. They called me around 10.30am (Doha time) and stated that they do not open their surgery on week-ends and alluded that the earliest appointment they could give me will be on 01/12/16 at 11.30am.
The purpose of my travel was not fulfilled because of the technical problem of QR1167 and delayed approximately two hours at King Khalid Airport in Riyadh. I was devastated the whole journey had been in a shamble. Here we are, I was stranded at Doha airport. No point of continuing my journey to Budapest and I decided to return back to Riyadh, however I forced Qatar Airways help desk representative to re-issue the whole journey ticket again at Qatar Airways expense. But they refused. I insisted that I want to see their manager. Mr. Munna Varghese, the manager understood my situation and request me to write a handwritten letter, explaining my situation which I did. Around 14.00pm, he came to me with a return ticket to Riyadh where I returned on the same day. Mr. M.Varghese had given me the contact details of Qatar Airways in Riyadh on King Fahd Road and stated that Mr. Yousef in Riyadh who will assist me in reissuing the whole Journey on Wednesday 30/11/16 and return to Riyadh on Friday 02/12/16.
I phoned your Qatar Airways offices in Riyadh and I spoke to Mr. Yousuf Abdul Momen Alhossa where he was trying to help me to re-book the ticket on above aforementioned dates. However, he also stated that he cannot re-issue the as I intended. But he advised me to pay again for the above proposed journey and requested to me write to customer care in explaining my predicament in a letter. Also he mentioned that he had spoken to customer care team on my behalf and assured me that the customer care team will help me to refund the money.
You could see that I paid twice for the same purpose journey which is not fulfilled in the first instance. Today I paid again for the same journey.
I have paid on 24/11/16 – SAR3963.00 (SAR 3201+ SAR762) and again I paid SAR 3293.00 today for same purpose journey which is not fulfilled on 25/11/16 as I planned.
Mr. Yousuf Abdul Momen Alhossa kindly send me an email today and requested me to contact Customer care for a compensation. His email reads as follows:
Dear Mr. Harindran
Greetings from Qatar Airways Riyadh
We are trying to resolve the issue and we will contact you as soon as possible

The passenger has a good chance to get a reimbursement from Qatar airways due to the delayed flight,
if the presented facts are true and the passenger fills the complaint correctly, leaving unnesssary emotions, which are 3/4 of the complaint, away.

Qatar Airways stolen bag from cabin in business class doha-houston qr713 qatar airways on 10th dec'16

We are the passengers tickt nos#[protected]&[protected] in seats no#3k&3j on flight no#qr713 on 10th dec'16 from doha to houston.upon landing at houston airport while deplaning we could not trace our cabin baggage kept by airline employee(male)in overhead luggage compartment which is weighing 7.5 kg and blue(metallic) make:piquadro 20" size.
After the landing we enquired with all the cabin crew and of no use. it was one of the cabin guys who helped my wife to load it after lifting that baggage into overhead compartment. we know for sure it was one of the staff/ employee of the airlines who helped the placing of bag in the overhead compartment. mr nadeem said he came and introduced after we settled in the seats and it was not the girls. we could not place the guy specifically and my wife and me were sure about bringing the bag inside and to the seat . we hope you can trace it after thorough investigation at your end and help us in this matter.
The bag contains jewellery plastic container( 3 nod gold waist belts belonging to our grand daughters& 2 necklaces approximately $44, 000 to $50, 000/-(usd).response from the airlines ground baggage service was not encouraging and helpful.they are very cool and not acting immdtly.even cabin staff walked out their way and were left to ourselves complaining going pillar to post and anxiously waiting ti hear from airlines and about restoration of bag as it contains family jewelry brought for a marriage in family and our grand daughters' first birthday celebration.

Qatar Airways customer service in dhaka airport in bangladesh

my wife and our two boys fly oct 09, 2016 from Miami to Dhaka and they come back nov 05, 2016 flight 639 from Dhaka, they had 4 hand carry bag incloding my 11 years old boys bag pack.who is give them boarding card, he told them you have more then 7 kg is your bag if you can make another bag and make under 7 kg then I can let you go.then he told her where she can buy bag, so she did .after that that gente man and women was in checking point they told her you 3 person can carry only three bag .not more then three.they was asking money from her, she deny.
now my point is if she can carry only three bag why he tall her to buy bag, and then they asking for money ? this is the service your airlines providing ?

Qatar Airways unethical and rude behaviour by check in supervisors

Hello,

I was supposed to fly to Qatar (connection) at 5:30. I arrived at 4:30, No luggage, online checkin, e-gate in hand. I thought i am better off printing my boarding pass, and i gave my passport to the counter personnel (girl). She took it and took her time instead of just telling me she can't print my pass for whatever reason. Your ground staff took 40 minutes to check what is multi entry visa and after insistence it turns out my visa is valid, and they just wasted my time.

At this stage, they wouldn't allow me to board anymore as i was "late", and they refused to help me at all. The Airways-Supervisor and the shift leader started telling they don't care and it is my responsibility and talking in a very offensive way.

Is that acceptable in your opinion?

Qatar Airways lost baggage

Please refer to my complaint ref. with Qatar Airways: (case reference:  CAS-679188-L7L6P3 ) CRM:[protected]. My son was returning home on KRT-DEL sector by flight details QR1328 (KRT-Doha) & QR570 (Doha-Delhi) on 15.05.2016.

His Booking Ref: 157-[protected]

His baggage was lost in between & it contained his books & study material. He is preparing for Engg. entrance exam. His exam is on 21.05.2016 in New delhi & all his books & notes are missing due to Lost Baggage by Qatar Airways.

Without the books & notes, he can not do his revision & his future is at stake. He was preparing for last 2 years for this. He is 12th class student. Qatar Airways just filed the missing baggage request & standard reply...wait for 48 hrs.

I have very bad experience with them in the past also. But now i am thinking going legal as they don;t respond.

Please help if you can...

Qatar Airways lost baggage

My family was travelling from Moscow to Windhoek on the April 5th 2016.

Moscow-Doha, Doha-Johannesburg were operated by QA.
Johannesburg-Windhoek - by South African Airlines.

On the arrival to Windhoek all 3 checked-in bags were missing so my parents submitted a claim to SAA. The next day one of the missing bags were delivered. The others remain lost.

After contacting QA, SAA, JBN Airport numerous times, i finally got the information that the bags never arrived to Johannesburg and 100% left Moscow. SAA assured me that they never received the bags from BidAir. They even checked the cameras! So it became obvious that the baggage is left behind in Doha.

Speaking to QA customer service (i used european one) doesn't work as they keep saying that they don't get any reply from Qatar after sending them a couple of requests regarding the missed bags. So in 2 weeks i asked for the phone numbers in Doha and decided to find out myself. I was given 2 numbers: +[protected], +[protected].
Non of them work, nobody picks up the phone.

The other phone number - +[protected] - that i found on the QA website also never answers.

But that's just a half of the story. On the way back to Moscow on the 19th of April 2016 the 3rd (!) bag got missing! And it is clear that it is stuck in Doha again because my parents made sure that their baggage was loaded onto the airplane in JBG.

So on the arrival to Moscow my parents had to file another claim. The QA lady in Moscow said she doesn't see the missed bag in the system.

Today we are trying to reach Moscow QA reps but again - nobody picks up the phone.

How is t possible to lose 3 bags out of 5? Will we ever receive them?
Who's gonna be responsible for the lost bags?

Qatar Airways unauthorized money taken by mr. rehan booking clerk lhe

i had booked a round trip ticket through qatar air ways web site in june, 2015 from xna to lhe. i paid $1304.39 through my credit card which includes tax, airport charges etc. on returning oct21, 2015 mr.rehan booking clerk at allama iqbal airport lahore demanded Rs950/-. i told him that ticket was purchased by me in usa and taxes etc have also been fully paid.mr rehan insisted to pay rs950/- otherwise he is not going to issue boarding pass for flight# QR 5325. the lady officer from Qatar airways was sitting close to mr. rehan and she did not helped me.there was no option but to pay mr.rehan rs950/.he put a stamp on the back of my eticket signing that he has received rs950/-i can't complain directly to airport officials as they all are involved in such activities so i request u to take up the matter at higher level.what is the price of giving shocks to me when i have no fault. that guy must refund the money with fine.they are causing bad name for your company so please take severe action against culprit.such elements should learn a lesson how to behave innocent travellers. my ticket code is 7p1q21 travellers.
