Q BUSINESS SOLUTIONS / charge on my credit card bill
Back in Feb 2009, I noticed a charge on my Visa (transaction date was Feb 3, 2009) card for $70.80 and the description was Qbiz Download. I had not knowingly downloaded anything. I immediately called the number provided on the bill [protected] or [protected]). A woman answered and told me that the billing department was closed (although it was during normal business hours) and for me to call back in 2 days. So, I did and had to leave a message for a callback. The woman's voice was the same one I had talked to. After no callback for about a week, I called again and left another message. Finally, on April 13th, I received a callback from the same woman but the call came in while I was sleeping so when I woke up and retreived the message, I called again. The same woman answered but she was very rude and the tone of her voice was terrible! I asked her why she was being rude and she said "Well, then you can call back and get someone else then." Then she proceeded to hang up on me. I called back and got the same woman. She asked me for the last 6 digits of my card number; I gave it to her. After a few seconds, she told me that that account had been closed and there was no information. I told her that I was looking at my bill and that my account had not been cancelled (I even called Visa to confirm the account was still open. I'm not sure if she was talking about the account for my Visa or the so ocalled account I was charged for. She hung up on me again! I called back and of course was asked to leave a message, so I left a msg for a manager to call me back. I doubt I will get a phone call.
I then called Customer Service for my Visa and asked to dispute this charge. Now I have to go through the inconvenience of writing a letter to dispute the charge which I am going to do.
I just find it odd that the same woman kept answering and the message left for the company is her voice. I started doing some investigating on the internet about this company (Q Business Solutions) and came across many complaints about bogus charges to others via this same company. Somehing is fishy here. I am so upset and feel that my hands are tied. I wish someone would do some checking on this company because I feel a scam happening here.
