continous deduction
it is not clear to me that subscribing to this website has a continous effect on my billing statement. They dont even sent any notifications on how to unsubscribe to their service. Can anybody here to explain very clearly on how to unsubscribe to this service. I would highly appreciate your soonest response on this matter.
Best Regards,
Ruel Velasco
I wasn't even aware I was a member
Watch out - sign up for this site and you actually become a member of 4 sites (four that I found anyway): PushPlay, Cineble, ItsHD, ReelHD, Yes - I know it was stupid to sign up for a free trial (continuing 2.95/month after) but it had Verified by Visa so I thought it was safe. I was looking through my browser history the next day and found these sites I did not visit. When I typed my username in to these other sites Viola- I wasn't even aware I was a member! Exact same spout about free trials and there contact numbers were all 1-2 digits different. MAKE SURE YOUR NOT CHARGED FOR EACH SITE! Luckily, I called the company within 2 days of signing up- they sent me a notice to cancel and one to refund $0.95 < 15 DAY FREE Trial my ### > you can get free shows and movies off UTorrent. I'm tempted to cancel my visa. I will be much more careful in the future.
Since about 2 weeks all kinds of not asking commercial e-mails. With every e-mail it is possible to send the message to stop, but "the party keeps going on", in spite of their own official declaration.
Yep! Do not give them a damn thing! No information or anything else! Yet another opportunistic group cashing in on the grand illusions of the 'internet'. Imagine all the gluttonous, sloths, with all their pleasures; boats, cars and what ever else they have leeched away from what we have all worked so hard to gain. Sick of it, sick of it all! Jihad this and Jihad that! One way. I would love to serve the lord's wrath upon any and all of these thieves, turncoats, traitors, the whole lot of them. It really burns me that these conniving victimizing criminals are amongst us at all. But wait, that's not all, I've heard enough excuses from the so called 'Protect & Serve" groupies. Oh yeah, hold on let them give us the run around; "Did you read pages 9-15 of "YOUR" agreement, you know the little tiny link barely visible on the lower right side of the page?" And so the story continues. "Our company abides by the clauses stated by our partners such eloquent legalese and we therefore apologize that you our lowly customer were so ignorant or illiterate to not read the Terms & Condition, so called Contractual agreement." Well, of course you didn't. We have no knowledge that as you claim that you never even visted the site. You must contact "THEM" directly to see if you can come to a satisfactory resolution first. If not then you can file a dispute for the charges. Incredible, really that's ALL WE have to do. For some reason I was lead to believe that most other people work for a living as the majority of the U.S. population, maybe I'm illiterate too - well I admit I must be, as I've got lot's of experience being victimized by crooks.
I signed up for a trial too. I am trying to cancel it but they want to charge 99 cents to cancel the account. This should be illegal to charge someone for cancelling. I tried to call to cancel and had to enter in a credit card number again. I have a bad feeling. I wish I had read all of the reviews first.

Billing scam
Free 5 day signup to a film viewing site. What they do NOT tell you is that you will be billed after the 5 day trial, then charge an online cancellation fee. Also, despite showing a trailer of the film I was after, searching the site after signing up, the film was NOT FOUND. This site is a rip off!

I did not knowingly sign up to anything yet was charged £24.95 direct from bank per month. The advisor did not want to tell me where they are operating from but after I asked 3 times told me they are in Barbados. I requested a total refund as had not signed up for any film service costing this amount per month. They refused & only agreed to refund one months payment (They had taken 4 x £24.95) On telling the advisor that i was very unhappy that unauthorised payments had been taken from my bank & they would be hearing form me i was told "Ma'am, I will not be hearing from you because I wont be listening" ! Shocking customer service & an indication of what a scandal this company are ! Please avoid like the plague. They are total robbers !

Fraudulent Charge
PushPlay said they needed my credit card to verify I was a US citizen. I entered it and it gave me the option to get a free 5-day account. I didn't want that so I did not sign up. The following day, I found a charge for $1 on my bank statement from them. I called the number they put on my statement but it was a round of automated messages. They are making millions by charging the $1 then expecting that most people will not bother to get the refund.

Free movie trial scam be careful
This old-movie provider advertise free trial 5days and after registration they pull out money because I didn't cancel.
But, I wasn't notified that I became a member successfully, and no email to me about registration process.
They pull out $39/month for 8 months even though I didn't watch a movie.
Service woman told that I have 3 log information and she refunded 2 months money only.
Be careful guys, this is a scam.

Poor customer service, supervisor unsympathetic, unclear if plan is 2.95, 7.95, or 39.95. They tell you there is no difference in plans it's just a special. This service makes no sense and should be avoided.
Charged cancellation fee for the free trial which they didn't tell you in the beginning
I recently joined the PushPlay (an online movie rental where you can watch movies without downloading them). They have a 5 day free trial which they say you can cancel anytime without being charged. Once I am registered, the movie selections are disappointing. I couldn't find any movies I actually recognise. The ones I tried to watch were again disappointing in story line and quality. When I cancelled the free trial (because they will continue charging you monthly otherwise) PushPlay actually charge a fee to cancel the trial online (which is only US$0.99 but they did not make that clear in the signing up process). So not worth it.
I would like to raise a complaint against the PUSHPLAY.com website. They give a free trial for 5 days asking to register the debit/credit card details. After a month i was shocked to see Rs.2, 342/- debited from my account without any notification of my credentials. This is a total cheating and illegal act. Kindly do the needful.

scam scam scam
I was searching for a movie I needed to watch for a college history class. This site promised the movie was available for a free trial. I entered my credit card information and attempted to watch the movie. They didn't even have the movie. They immediately charged my credit card! I sent them an email telling them they had better remove the charge. That was three months ago and I just found out they have still been charging my card every month. I am going to have to cancel my credit card and get a new card. This company should be banned from doing business! I am a poor struggling college student and cannot afford to be ripped off like this.

Buyer beware
PushPlay's offer is enticing but be sure read the fine print about your "FREE" 5 day trial period. If you can find it... Tons of links on their site that never really go to a movie that you can watch.
They ask you to give credit card information and say they won't charge you anything. However, if you don't cancel at the end of 5 days they will start automatically billing your credit card at $39.00 per month. I was lucky and got out before they could do that. ( They charged me a buck to cancel...)
Beware
Beware: when signing up for their five day free trial, it is unclear that you will be charged $34.95 if you do not cancel in the five days. I was totally surprised to find a charge I did not recognize on my account and refund is not an option upon cancelling. I had to sign up for this service in order to use tvshack.net. I won't use them again either. My computer got a virus from one of these sites.
