I also ordered the FREE trial (the key word being FREE). It is definitely not free. After ordering the product, I tried to contact them to get some more info on autoship, if there was any, and how much the product was. An 800 number on my bank statement had a recording asking that all questions be sent to the email address ([protected]@thintabs.com) on my email receipt. I sent 3 messages to this email with no response. I then was charged $149.95 ... you know the rest of the story. This happened in January 2007. The 800 number on the $149.95 charge was a different number than the one for the FREE trial. Very convenient for them. I was able to leave a message at this number. Too late for me of course.
I received a call back from a representative the next day. I explained my problem, (no response from email, didn't want 2 bottles until I tried the trial, won't pay $149.95 for this, etc.) You will be charged $49.95 for the cancel. Told him he was crazy and that I had the bank reverse the charge. He said I would be sent to collections, blah, blah, blah.

SOME COMPANIES KNOW HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS

I have ordered FREE trials before and those companies have happily cancelled my autoship without ever having to receive any further shipments or be charged a fee. A $49.95 cancellation fee. Are they NUTS!

WOW, just visited their site and the terms and conditions link DOES NOT WORK!
This company will not ruin my credit, I will do everything in my power to make sure that they go down in flames.

Once again FREE trial does not mean totally free it just means free for now and pay later! where they were wrong was saying they will charge to cancel, that sounds totally money hungry and unprofessional!
