I sent $600.00 through Western Union to a akc breeder by the name of Nicole Wilson in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I wanted to purchase a French Bulldog and was communicating with her through her emails: [protected]@gmail.com, [protected]@yahoo.com and [protected]@gmail.com . She was recommended to me by a woman living in Eagle Rock, CA by the name of Ruth Aweson with the email: [protected]@yahoo.com. I believe that they are working together to scam others.

Nicole was supposed to ship me a male French Bulldog on August 8, 2010 and I was going to pick up the puppy at the airport when it arrived. She charged me $200.00 for the airline shipping, but as of now I have not received anything. They gave me a fake contract ensuring me the delivery of the puppy.

She provided me with her two addresses:
Nicole Wilson
3521 Sagebrush Lane
Tuscaloosa, AL 35405

143 Belmont Ave.
Ambler, PA 19002

Please do not buy from any of these people. They are NOT registered AKC breeders and should NOT be trusted. They are constantly changing their emails.

I was just scammed akcfrenchbulldogbreeders.club from a lady $650 and saying the airlines for the crate and some other would be $980 and the insurance like $1600 All the way in North Carolina. Plus we just lost our bulldog so it just pisses me off that these people would do stuff like this

Similar situation involving the following website: My name is Sonja and just recently over the weekend my grandmother and I fell pray to an internet scam that is quickly spreading. Buying dogs online is becoming popular and my grandmother finally agreed to a new dog after her long time friend Nero passed away a few months ago. My grandmother is diabetic and has been struggling managing her health following a stroke a few years back. This puppy (see pictures attached) would help her in more ways then one. I found a website that seemed promising: http://www.harvardth.com
We began emailing and texting back and forth with a guy named: Jason Garnett the dog seller who lives in Lincoln, Nebraska. He eventually lead me to a western union where he received $750 of my grandmothers money. After he said he would get back to me with my dogs flight information which is when i started to receive calls from “Virgin pet airlines” saying he needs a special crate and this would cost me $1600. Luckily I started researching and ended the scam before the second transaction. There are tons of online sites like this that look legitimate. The phone numbers used are not traceable from what I have looked into.

Please beware of Classy Frenchies, www.classyfrenchies.com. Supposedly located in VA. Paid for a puppy through Zelle that was to be delivered on 11/12/2018. Puppy was not delivered, correspondence with seller stopped. Used a different email on 11/13/2018 and the puppy I paid for, "Terry" was still available. dasi.george@yahoo.com, frenchbulldog002@gmail.com

It sucks about these scammers.. I would suggest asking to face time to see the pup and ask for references. Use paypal when in doubt as that will protect u to some degree.. the guy that tried to scam me said he lived in TX but had a Ca phone number. talking to him he was adamant about money gram from Walmart- another sigh.. he refused paypal. He also didn’t know the name of the airport I would fly into.. another sign.. beware of posting for frenchies under $3500.. if u ask why they sell them so cheap they can’t answer.. theses dogs are expensive because they can not breed. They are artificially inceminated..

Obviously I'm not alone I sent a money gram to Nathan Tyler (exoticfrenchies.home@gmail.com) address 14193 Independence Rd, Ashland VA 23005 Phone #[protected]. I have sent 575 to purchase a french bulldog puppy by money-gram and then was contacted by the shipping company stating I needed to rent an air conditioned crate to transport the dog in for $980. I sent money gram to get the dog shipped and at the last minute they tell me I need to purchase insurance before the dog can get on the next flight for $680. I have called all the numbers left messages no answer. I called the airline where they said the dog was in quarantine because I did not purchase health insurance. The airlines said that their were no live cargo on the plane they said. If EMS mail delivery service is every used be very skeptical they don't talk on phone and only use email. The emails they send are computer generated and filled in to fit your information.

I paid a $1500.00 deposit by wire transfer on a french bulldog in Serbia. Vanilla flowers bulldogs www.frenchbulldogbreed.net. No dog, no replies to 24 emails. I found out he sells the puppy repeatedly and finally one of the purchasers gets the dog. Don't make the same mistake that I did.

I emailed a guy by the name of Robert Nieto, email address robertdiasy@gmail.com his listing was in Mesa, Arizona he had 7 puppies all looked different, not from the same parents. Even different ages. The ad was listed first with Dogs Oodle.com then it sent you to Advertigo.net. Listed under French Bulldogs Funny Little Poppers. He was only asking for the cost of the shipping of the dog $300.00. I told him I wanted to see the dogs first to see which one I wanted. He ask me where I lived and I told him Arizona, then he changed it to the dog would me coming from New York. I too think this is a scam, but don't know who to report it to or how to find out where they are really located. So beware of Mr. Robert Nieto. He said that his wife had been killed in a drunk driver accident and the puppies were hers. WATCH OUT!

I have been searching for a puppy for weeks now, literally spending hours upon hours online researching and reading reviews. I have found a breeder thankfully, and I will now wait for pups. .. But let me say this, the amount of duplicate pictures I see is disgusting! some I have found listing puppies now (August 2015) and the same picture was like 2011! I am so disgusted with people.. But just yesterday, I was contacted by a "breeder" who was fresh out of available puppies, but knew a previous customer of hers that changed jobs and needed a good home for his puppies. I emailed him already sure it was a scam... He said his new "calling of god" had him not able to spend enough time with his puppy and for me to tell him about myself, so he could decide if I would love his puppy enough. I gave him a little information, and he replied with what a good fit I was, he even asked my childrens names! Then he wanted all my information so he could arrange shipment of the puppy.. I replied with "NO MONEY EXCHANGE UNTIL PUPPY IN HAND" and I asked him where should I fly to (I always say this! that I will fly to them) can you believe it, no response. Another obvious scam, now using the lords name sake. Unreal!
The Breeder email was: Marisa Sapper mocutiesfrenchbulldog@gmail.com
The guy selling was :REV Mikael petrosyan mikaeland petrosyan@hotmail.com
Good luck people... keep passing the word!

Brandy7780, I am wondering about her too. Which one of the puppies are you looking at? We have emailed her and text but she does not speak on the phone. I am wondering how she does the pricing as she just asked us a price range then gave us something about. $200 lower.

Watch out for Affordablebullies.com and Sandysbullies.com both are scams. PETCO Express is the supposed to be the shipping company they use but this is also a scam. They will ask you to send money to Michael Lawrence and/or Michael Roberts. Phone numbers used are [protected] and [protected]. Seemed legit at first but total scam artist.

I contacted a breeder MCDONALD FRENCH BULLDOGS About buying a puppy(Jerry) that was on his website WWW.HAPPYPUPS.NET I had noticed that a lot of sites had same pictures of puppies and they were from different parts of country. This site (happy pups.net) did not and even looked legit. I checked it out before sending $400 for puppy (Jerry). Well LONG story short breeder (McDonald) went up on shipping, the shipper he was using BEN ANDERSON HENSLEY did not check out and emailed me and wanted an additional$990 to ship puppy (pet insurance and crate). then breeder even wanted my SS# for shipping. Well he never returned my $400 or any of my emails and neither did shipper. BEWARE OF MCDONALD FRENCH BULLDOGS IT IS NOTHING BUT A SCAM. I have breast cancer and my husband was getting puppy (Jerry) for me
Breeder knew this and still screwed me. But I will keep posting about scam, contact BBB...

Shearpet... I made the mistake of purchasing a puppy from the website with my girlfriend. I spoke with him on the phone multiple times, also through text messaging, and multiple e-mails. I showed up at the airport with my girlfriend, all new items purchased for the puppy, and no puppy showed up. We got scammed by www.vintagebullies.com horribly, and I'm going to do everything within my power to find out who is behind it. My girlfriend and I bought a new cage, beds, toys, you name it. I am beyond disgusted with these people, and I feel like the biggest sucker in the world. We are both simply devastated at this point.

Beware of www.VintageBullies.com supposedly in in East Point Georgia. They email, some text, and never call. Was trying to buy a puppy and when I said I had someone that would come there and get the puppy and pay all communications stopped. Their website says they are a family breeder but the phone number on the website is a LAND LINE in Brunswick Georgia.. Good luck doing business with them.

I recently found an ad on Craigslist for French bulldog pups. When writing the woman (WallaceVicki@Yahoo.com) about the dog she said that I had been too late but she had a friend Reverend Rose who went on a Missionary transfer with the West africa missionary. She exclaimed that this Reverend Rose didn't have time for her puppies and is looking for a home for them. So me being curious I wrote "Rev Rose" (revelyn@blumail.org). When she responded she said that I would have to pay shipping fee of $300 a puppy. Then added pictures of the supposible puppies she was putting up for adoption. Luckily I decided to google images of French Bulldog pups and sure enough I found the images on other sites from posts years ago.

Wow, I have an incredibly similar story, although, thanks to this post, I was able to figure it all out before I sent any money. So first and foremost, thank you for the heads up regarding this problem!

I responded to a posting on "puppyfind.com, " inquiring about a French bulldog in CA listed at $650 dollars. I assumed the low price was due to the fact that the puppy was a little older than the majority of the pups on the website. I received an email from a "MARIA HOUSE, " email address "PUPSPET99@YAHOO.COM, " informing me that this puppy was no longer available, however, her friend in Texas had some French bulldogs that he was looking to adopt out.

I then contacted a supposed "CHARLES MCCAFFREY" at "CMCCAFFREY8@GMAIL.COM." He emailed me back explaining how he was "A U.N. EMPLOYEE STUDYING THE EFFECTS OF MALARIA IN PREGNANT WOMEN" and had recently been transferred to a new apartment in Texas which did not allow pets. He proceeded to ask me a lot of questions about our home situation- if we had pets, kids, etc. and ultimately decided I could have the puppy for $400 dollars plus $300 dollars shipping.

There were tons of spelling errors and awkward language in the emails, so I became suspicious. He was definitely pressing me to give my full name and address "as soon as possible" in order to switch the AKC papers to my name. I googled the home address he gave me only to discover that it was an HEB pharmacy in Uvalde, TX. When I asked him if he used paypal, he emailed me back to inform me that his paypal account was conveniently at its limit, and I would need to go to my nearest "WALL-MART chop" and send the money via Moneygram.

The person I was to make payment to was a "NANCY HOUSE at 201. E. MAIN ST. in UVALDE, TX, " oddly the same last name as the first woman I contacted in California. I have since tried to find her original post on puppyfind.com to post here, but it has been deleted. I have attached the photos that he sent me upon request, but was unable to post the two videos that were also sent, in which the owners referred to the puppies as "Sasha" and "Alex." I sent him a not-so-nice email informing him what terrible con artists they were, but watch out for these people!

Always ask for references and check them all. Call them if possible. If the email addresses in the references are all 'free ones' like gmail, aol, msn and such.. RUN! I offer 15-20 references and I'd never accept less than. Do your homework, check them out. NO WESTERN UNION.. Talk to the people ON THE PHONE so you will have a phone number for the future. REFERENCES checked. Hope this helps. I offer all of the above to all of my frenchie clients. It's a big bad world out there.. don't be too sure of things until you research them. :)

I contacted my local police and was told it was a civil matter not criminal and they would not pursue it even though I brought up this site and all the others who have been scammed. I would have to file a lawsuit for anything to happen. Sadly I think this is a little more complicated than that. Does anyone have a positive id/adress for this person?

On 8/24 the ad is for labrador retriever puppies $400, and she is going by Alicia Smith saying that I am too late all of the puppies are gone and referred me to wilsonbabies@gmail.com. You can Google Alicia Smith, she is a breeder in Alabama. I am going to contact Alabama authorities.

Same as us, but we were referred by a lady in Salt Lake City to a lady in Wenatchee, Washington. Contract had all the info of the Nicole Wilson exactly as above. When asked about it she said she got that part confused with the lady that was buying the other puppy. Thanks for posting this you saved us from being scammed out of $650.

This is a valid complaint. I was scammed by the same person using the same Alabama address. Referred to her by a breeder Elaine Smart from Pasadena CA
