I never received AKC registration from breeder Wanda Cote. I called Wanda after taking my puupy to the vet and being diagnosed with Gardia (a parasite that needs medication), i wanted to let her know for all the pups she has down her basement so they could get tested as well. I also told her that i saw her website and want to know who my pups mom and dad isand want her registration she then yelled at me stating to bring my pup back and shell refund me. I told her that i would never rerturn my pup to her due to the nature that she keeps them. I love my pup and it took all of a minute to become attatched to her. Wanda hung up on me. I call that bad business. She should not have a license to breed any dogs. She cross breeds and does not look like she has any pure breads.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Here we are coming to the end of 2022 Wonda Cote was arrested twice in the past couple years for selling puppies with out a license . She has recently sold her home. I am not sure where she has moved to. Some one said into her parents home. My wife and I bought 2 female french Bulldogs from her in 2020 One was diagnosed with a congenital heart condition. Wanda gave me the hardest time sending emails back and forth and even after all the proof she needed she refused to refund our money. My wife and I filed a small claim against her a year and a half later and we finally have a court date. Nov. 29th at the Lebanon District Court. We did a lot of investigating after filing our claim against Wanda / PuppiesR4sale. I don't understand why others didn't file small claims against her. This is part of the reason why she has been able to continue selling puppies by the dozens. The state of NH has laws that MUST be followed. I am baffled as to why she is still selling puppies today.? I did notice on her web page the prices on the puppies are lower then usual. I also know that the prosecutor in Danville is working things out. I hope and pray she is served used fines and can never ever sell or assist in selling puppies in the state of NH ever again . As stated above this women is a total nut case. She puts in a great show when you show up at her house wanting to buy a puppy, but as soon as there is a problem she turns into something completely different. For those of you who have faced her evil side you know what Im talking about. She tried to scare me by telling me I was a womanizer and a bully. I have a bad feeling she might have scared off a lot of other people with her tactics. Her husband Charles tied to scare me from filing my claim by telling me his daughter is a lawyer and has offices in NH and Ma. He also claimed he was involved with the Department of Agriculture state vet in the past. I was licensed for 8 years by the NH Department of Agriculture to take in and re home pet birds. I contacted Dr. Stephen Crawford NH State Vet with in days after learning about our puppies heart condition. Dr. Crawford informed me the matter has been handed over to the Danville NH Police Department. I contacted the Danville Police Department and provided them with as much help as I could. It is true this women is not a breeder, she is a broker who buys puppies from all over the US. I honestly got that piece of info from her own vet. Im not sure at this point if the state is going to stop her from selling puppies, but if she is allowed to it is our job to make sure the public is aware of how many sick dogs she has sold. I did not get to see where she kept her puppies at her home in Danville NH My wife and I were only allowed in a small room between her garage and living space. At the time we bought our puppies she must of had like 13 French Bulldogs . My wife and I made a huge mistake of buying from her and not doing our investigating before.
Thé Côtes are BULLIES - they care NOTHING about the health and welfare of the sweet puppies - it’s ALL about GREED. You will be very, very heartbroken if you purchase a puppy from these scammers.
I purchased my new puppy on 4/19/16. I brought our new puppy to a vet that a friend recommended, because I'm new to all this. My vet wanted to get vial copies or the manufacturer of the shots that puppy was given. This way he can continue with the next two shots with the same shots. When I txt Wanda her for this info, she texted""look bring back the puppy for a full refund cuz not putting up with this ### Do you honestly think I saved the labels given 2 weeks ago" These are her words to me in a txt. (I saved the entire txt conversation) I said of course you should save everything to do with the puppies, because it's your job. She then accused me of trying to give the shots to the puppy myself. Again, I told her...This is my first time ever purchasing a dog, and I brought the puppy to the vet right away for a checkup. This is what the vet has requested Then she continued to be nasty, and asked for my vets names and number. She called my vet screaming and yelling at them. They have this in my file for proof. Then her final txt to was that she is now blocking me from her phone, and that I am ridiculous. She also said if my vet gives another vaccine and my puppy gets sick, it is not her problem. The contract I signed with Wanda states that I have life contact with her with any questions or info I need on my puppy. She has broken her contact with me. I called my credit card company because of this to dispute the full charge of the puppy (funds are being returned because I'm not stooping to her level). She is not a good business woman. She needs to learn good business sense. I can't even trust her now anymore. I still have the puppy, because I did not say I wanted to return it. I just wanted the detail on the shots. (vial number and/or manufacturer). She said she threw them out. I called Wanda's vet where the shots were stated on the paper work that I have. Wanda's Vet is NH Veterinary Medical Association([protected], and left a vm and email. I have not heard from them. Now I don't even know if the puppy has had these shots. This will be devastating to my girls if something goes wrong. How can someone be so mean?
my daughter picked a puppy on gumtree for my grandaughters birthday went and collected it on friday the pup is now in vets critical and not goin to survive with parvo god no s how many people bought and paid good money to be in same position she wont answer fone i wonder why date 26th july northern ireland
Complaint - We have no complaints -We named her Ella and she is doing great! From the day we picked her up she fit right in with our family. She is about 21lbs now and as loving and happy as could be.

I also bought my maltese from her back in Aug 2012. She estimated her weight to be about 5lbs and well she is 8lbs now. When I realise the rate she was growing, just a few weeks after getting the puppy from her, I contacted her to get more information about the parents and as many of you experienced, she yelled, asked the puppy back and would give me a refund and so on. Not to mention that after I put my deposit, she send a picture of the litter and than another one and guess what, the picture was from google search. I found the same picture all over the internet. That gave me a sign about her but too be honest I was first time owner, was very excited and didn't know much about buying a puppy or the immense affects this whole process has on the dog. My dog turn out to be beautiful (although I am certain she is not a 100% maltese even if Wanda Cote said otherwise). We are working on her CGC now but I can see some of the complains here showing on her as well. She is a shy, fearful dog that barks to people. I have been training her since she was little to resolve this and have to say that training does a lot for the dog but genetic is imbedded and defines a lot how your puppy will turn out. If I was to buy another puppy today I would NEVER buy from her and would be very aware of location, will ask to visit and see the mother with the litter, would have a temperament test run on the puppy. Everything that I should have done and didn't.
We purchased a Malshi female, 5 months old, from Wanda Cote in September, 2012. We found the pups clean and well cared for and all pups we looked at appeared healthy and accustomed to people. She allowed us to bring our other Malshi in to meet her before we purchased. We got a health certificate and year guarantee, but have yet to have any health issues with our pup. We had gone to another breeder the same day we bought our pup, and that one was shameful. That breeder had a dirty kennel, no health certificates and all the pups we saw had conjunctivitis. We would purchase from Wanda Cote again.
I've been reading all of your comments and I hope someone sees this and moves forward with this suggestion. I completely agree she sounds like a puppy mill. Her site reeks of puppy mill and I am sorry for all that have encountered her. BUT if you look her up in the BBB (Better Business Bureau) She has an A+. There has not been one single complaint to them regarding any bad and sad situations of puppy purchases. Please start there as well. If anyone looks they will see she's NOT an A+ business!
This is so sad! The authorities need to get control of what's going on. Before all these puppies end up sick or dead. What a shame. I wish all of you with a sick or skiddish puppy the best of luck.
Wanda Cote has been to the Puppy Mill again she has more puppies she bought at the Puppy Mill out west she pays a very low liw fee for the puppies then sells the puppies and lies about there breed and health and lies and lies I worry about the puppies . My puppy has so many issues because of her locking the puppies in the basement and sheds .She should be locked in the basment w no love and food throw at her . I hope and pray that Karma really bites her in her pocketbook tge pain she has cause to these puppies and family I hope it comes back to bite hard to abuse puppies shame on her
Well I just got the blood line or wisdom panel done on my yorkie and found out that my yorkie is not full yorkie i thought or was told by Wanda he was full yorkie is not he is Cattle dog Great Dane and two other mixes and he will be 30 pounds Wow those Puppy Mill really likes to mix it up .Wow Wanda lied again I hope she gets hers. I hope your business goes to hell.

Call Danvill police department [protected] and put in a complaint you will be shock to here all the cases on her with abusing these puppies and what about thoses poor foster kids there how does fetaway with this. Minibella what breed did you get from her? I had the exact problem. Sooo scared of men and children. Had no idea how to even eat out of a dish. She needs to go to jail for this abuse.

I got my puppy from this terrible woman. My puppy did not eat or drink for days. It took about a month for her to realize that human touch and love is ok. She clearly never had human contact with Wanda. Before I got my puppy, I did not know she ran A puppy mill. It wasn't until this poor puppy was living with me I realized the poor conditions she came from. Wanda should not be allowed to breed or sell these dogs it's cruel neglectful and abuse.
Just to let you know you might want to bring it up to the town! They have been trying for years to get her in illegally running a business from her home! She maybe licensed by state but she def is not licensed for home because she lived in a residential area! Also I agree with the last guy or girl! It is a puppy mill! She had two sheds out back, some in her garage, some in her connected from garage to house, some in her house, some in her basement and don't forget in her house! Very very sad! Her dogs are poorly taken care of and she also vet hops so she try's and gets away with not reporting exactly how many dogs she has actually produced... It is very very sad that the town sits by and let's this happen! Mainly cause she is a nut and threatens lawsuit after lawsuit! Oh and people don't be fooled the third response is her trying to cover her tracks! And the second is her as well with her anger issue...
DONT BE FOOLED! Thats a backyard puppymill. Dogs all over the place inside the house and outside in sheds. It should be shut down. A puppy should not come with giardia. Its from poor kennel practices. Be careful because people can catch it, not good especially pregnant women! STAY AWAY FROM this gross business.
I just adopted two puppies from Wanda Cote she was so nice and very felxable. While I was at her home she was very welcoming and kind. She had a wonderful young girl there helping out and interacting with all the pups. Yes she did have some cross breeds. However she does have purebred pups as well. I know this cos both of my puppies are purebred Maltese puppies. My puppies are very sweet and loving. Both of my dogs were very clean and well kept. I have recently talked with Wanda over the phone. Giving the fact that my puppies are new to our family, I had some small questions about them. She was so kind to answer all of my silly little questions. She was not in a rush to hang up with me infact she was concerned on how the pups had been adjusting to our home and family. It is very clear to me that she cares and loves what she does as far as breeding goes. I give her a lot of credit. Also my pups both came with all their current shots and I was givin their records from the vet. These records Wanda provided. To the writer above I'm very sorry that you feel the way that you do. However I do believe that you have totally misjudged Wanda Cote. There are a lot of scams out there but Wanda Cote is not one of them. As a matter of fact I'm grateful for how well she took care of all her puppies. Thank you Wanda for two wonderful, healthy Maltese puppies. These pups have brought so much love and joy to our family.
You have a puppy for X amount of time, she raised the puppy for longer than you had the dog, if you refuse to return the dog how can you complain about them here ? That is a double standard. Giardia is a common puppy illness, along with worms, coccidia, strep, mange etc, breeders have to constantly treat there puppies for these things and cross their fingers that the puppies are clean when they go home. Rescues can't even keep their dogs from catching these normal things. This illness is something they can get an immunity too, hence they now sell vaccines for it. Stanley L. The breeder should refund you the price of the medication. You would have had the puppy seen by the vet and tested for all parasites anyways, as that's part of being a responsible owner.
You are complaining about something so trivial, plus she offered you a refund . Your puppy will not die if given its medication, this is not like parvo or distemper.
Rather she is a good breeder or not, this is something that is *common*, and why a Vet would be looking for it in the first place.
