Mr Ronald/Roland Clams is advertising on Hoobly with multiple puppies for sale. I was interested in one of the Pomeranian's he had for sale. I contacted him as the site requested by texting him at [protected]. The puppy was $600 and that I needed to get a money order to Ronald Clams in Richmond Virginia. I asked to see a video of one particular puppy, and he sent me a video from email [protected]@gmail.com. I did then send the money order Saturday, August 18th. On Monday, August 13th I received a text from [protected] that they were from USHIP and they were working with Mr. Clams to ship this puppy to me from Richmond Virginia to Orlando Florida Airport, and they send me an email claiming that there is a special crate needed and I could either purchase the crate for $1000 or rent one for $750.00 and I would get a refund of $650.00 cash when I picked up the puppy. So I was asked to send a Money to Benson Vincent in the amount of $750.00 in which I did, because I did see that this is required on line. Then when I kept reaching out to [protected] regarding the shipment date, I received another text that the paperwork as been submitted to Florida, but then got declined and I now needed to to get insurance and they can supply this for $550.00 . I reached out to Mr. Clams about this fee and he offered to pay $200 of this, but he was out of town to take care of a sick relative. He never cam through and I paid the additional $200.00. I then reached out to find the shipping date, and they said that Florida rules changed, and the insurance has now increased to $1000.00 that I needed to send another $450.00. I declined and asked for my money back. They then said that there is a $250.00 fee to to the paperwork to get my rebate back. I asked for documentation of their prices, cause I did not sign anything, he sent me my puppy contract, and then a form about the amount I had paid, and what I paid for so far. I then contacted USHIP and sent them the documents that this employee sent me and they clarified it was a scam. I looked at Hoobly.com, and Mr. Clams has the puppy I bought with a different phone number of [protected]. Mr. Clams told me that there is no refund on my puppy. It was located in Richmond VA, but as on Hoobly is now saying Atlanta, GA
I have tried to contact Mr. Clams at his new phone number and saying that I know that he has a new phone number and I attached my so called puppy agreement that I want my money back, he said "who is this are you crazy, get off my phone" I told him to look at the attachment. They responded I don't know who you are" I then said it was funny that the puppy I purchased is on your Hoobly account under a new phone number. I have not gotten a response, so I have contacted my local police to report the scam, and also reported this at IC3.gov
He has 13 minutes ago (4:07PM EST) placed an ad on Hoobly.com

There was an add for Pomeranian puppies for sale, they are a scam The number that was representing this is [protected]. DO NOT BUY anything, FRAUD SCAM. He goes under the name Ronald Clams, address is 410 N 23rd Street Richmond VA 23223 and asking for money orders in Benson Vincent too. Other number they are using that is fraud is [protected].
Changed his user name, phone number on photos still the same. SHUT HIM DOWN

I have attached the fake puppy contract, and fake shipping paperwork to get my money back
Not sure if the photos went through, but I had sent this paperwork to USHIP, and they said it was fraud, that this was their old address.
He is at it again, changed his number to [protected], if you look at the boxer puppies, it is the same photo from the above complaints. Please deleted posts, to save someone else from being scammed.

I believe that is this is the same person that scammed me, I did some research and this is the results I found. They currently have 2 ads running and when I called the number, I get the same message when I tried to purchase a puppy and lost everything.

Just this morning I seen his page again with the same phone number. Please delete his ad, and I have trying to contact him with the number posted, but no response. I sent him my puppy agreement, requesting my refund. He will not respond. Please delete this post, he will scam people on this site. The puppy that I requested is still on the Pomeranian page.
