Protection against Identity Theft / Cannot reach a live operator to cancel subscription before end of trial period

After submitting my personal information in order to receive a CD on how to apply and get free government grants I was automatically signed up for two other programs FraudProtectionResources.com and PreventMyIDTheft.com on a 14 and 21 days trial period. While I was able to cancel subscription to fraudprotectionresources.com when I tried to cancel the subscription to preventmyidtheft.com a recording came on telling me I would be connected to an operator, what I was connected to was another recording telling me if I'd like to make a call please hang up. I'd like someone to get me information on how to put a stop to this type fraud.
