Proscan TV after 2 years the TV don't work

Just over 2 years ago I purchase a 42 inch TV with a built in DVD player
after 2 years my TV stop working I get sound but no picture
I feel that something like a TV stops working after 2 years the store should replace it
because TV's shouldn't stop working after 2 years

I've had my Proscan a little over 2 years and the screen went black today. Still have sound but picture. Is that the longest life out of these tv's? Super bowl Sunday and TV goes out.

i agree completely. . I have the same problem with my TV which is about 2 years old. I subscribe to cable and thought at first that was the problem, but the other TV's in my house (not Proscan) are working. Very frustrating to have no picture and only sound. after such a short period of time.

At the second time when the same part went bad (May 2006), I didn't want to fix it without knowing what's causing the problem; rahter, I wanted to buy a new more-dependable TV.
