Dear Ma'am/Sir

I am writing to you as a frustrated customer who has been suffering for the last three weeks for buying a product. I bought the Sky TV, Broadband and Talk contract on 26 sep 08, from an agent who sells these contracts by standing on the side of the road with detailed information about it. After buying the contract the salesman promised that the installation of the Sky box will take 7-10 days and the engineer will come and do this. The engineer came on 03 Nov 08 at around 3.30 pm and called on my husband's mobile and said that he was finding some place for parking and will be coming shortly for the installation. As we live in a flat that is located in a multistorey building and it is hard to find the entrance, so I went downstairs, outside in the cold and waited there for good 45 minutes (though I was been discharged from the hospital after being there for 6 wks and was completely on bedrest)and my husband called him for 3 times inbetween and the reply was again 'looking for a parking'. and finally when MY HUSBAND CALLED and he said he is going back because he couldnot find any parking(without bothering to call and inform). My husband again called the same salesman and he replied that the engineer will now take another 4-5 days.
The next day I went to the salesman and he very rudely said ' we fullfilled our promise, the engineer came but he thought that because our flat is on the top of broadway and this place is very busy so he wont be able to fix the antenna so he went back'.But the engineer never explained this to us. As it could have been sorted out as there are two windows in the flat opening both sides of the flat But He argued with me and said rudely that I can stop my direct debit as the contract can't be terminated even if it has not started yet, I can complain about it if I want. After coming home I called Sky and came to know that the salesperson is not agent of Sky and works for another company called PROMOTIONS2(and he misguides people by advertising as a member of Sky). Anyway I called Promotions2 and they argued again and agreed that the engineer will be sent again before 07/11/08 but again a false promise. I tried to chase this up with Promotions again but the same reply from them that I can complain if I want but they will send the engineer when they want.
I am not well and was in the hospital for the last 6 weeks and completely on bedrest and wanted to get entertained at home but now I feel I am suffering more by buying this contract...I have never seen such rude staff and such bad service from the company that it seems that they are not selling the product but they buy one's peace and give more stress and frustration as a punishment of being their customer.
I fullfilled all the conditions by being a true customer and given my bank details for direct debit by trusting them and I am getting punished for this. Nobody is there to listen.
I could have got infection after standing outside in cold for so long and wait for the engineer... Who is going to suffer for this?
Who is going to compenensate for harrassing an ill person who is already suffering physically and now is suffering psychologically by waiting and getting new excuses everyday?
Who will be responsible if I get unwell again?
Why should I suffer if I am not wrong?
Promotions2 doesnot seem to be bothered about what they are providing. All they are bothered about is getting money not providing services.
I humbly request you if you can please look into it and help me and sort this out for me. Can you please advice me what I should do for the harrasment they have given and still giving psychologically as well as physically? I will be grateful to you for this.
