When eating Progresso Rich and Hearty, steak and roasted russet potatoes, I bit down on something hard. It was a piece of orange plastic, curly stringlike about an inch long.

The clam pieces are inedible. They are like rubber.

Hi.
I tried the Low-FAT Chicken Barley Progresso Soup Bar Code [protected] and personally, did not care for it...

We carried it to the food bank at our church ...we like all other Progresso Soups and buy them weekly.

This one, though, did not fit our taste buds.

Sorry. Just wanted to let you know.

Louise

In June of 2012, I started eating a can of the Chicken and Wild Rice soup. After taking a few bites, I bit down HARD on something sharp. I knew immediately it wasn't supposed to be there. Upon examination, I found this sharp piece of plastic in my soup. Almost seven months later, Progresso calls to "follow up" and offer a compensatory $250. They took no accountability for the fact that somehow this sharp plastic found its way into their soup. Instead they made excuses stating that they did not have any other reports with this batch and that they already have processes in place to keep this from happening. I chose to decline the settlement finding it offensive and have instead opted to let everyone know that THIS is what you can expect if you buy Progresso soup. Needless to say, we are done with this brand and will never buy it again. Be warned!
