Progressive Casualty Insurance marketing

To whom it may concern,

I recently seen a commercial marketing insurance where the woman was pushing a man sitting in a shopping cart knocking items off of the shelves and then sitting on the floor where kids was running around him stating "act your age", I get that you all have a product that you all are trying to sell but I must say as a mother of a special needs child I found this particular commercial highly offensive. I didn't get the message all I saw was the future my daughter face as she continue to grow with her disabilities it came across as a joke and honestly it brought tears to my eyes, I know the struggles my seven year old will face her entire life and it is NOT in anyway funny, I ask that when you all decide to come up with marketing ideas that you show more sensitivity and compassion to the public of consumers that you choose to serve. NOT IMPRESSED!

I see your company is still advertising on FOX NEWS this network has been continuing dividing Americas. The so-called hard news daytime shows obsessing over stories that misleadingly cherrypick criminal activity by Latinos to justify the hardline immigration policies. Progressive Casualty Insurance cargo damage by progressive customer

A transporter company, insured by Progressive Insurance, damaged equipment that they were transporting to me. Progressive claims that the insured doesn't respond to them or present information they requested. In otherwords, the transporter company, McKensie Trucking LLC of Baton Rouge La. doesn't want to accept responsibility for the damage. Progressive Insurance closed out the claim and I am left with $2000.00 in damage that I will not be able to recover.

This happened on 08/09/2018, and three months later Progressive desides to drop the claim and not pay for my damages. They said they were going to send out person to check out the damage and they haven't sent anyone as yet. It was a brand new piece of equipment and and would like to be reibursed for a new rotary mower. I was planning to use it to supplement my retirement and now I will go further in debt. Progressive Casualty Insurance auto insurance claim

They never respond.
The other car was insured by the same company, Progressive. Police said if no one was hurt filing a report was time consuming and not necessary.
The other driver was at fault, so said the cop.
I called Progressive while waiting for police. They put an incident report into the system and said someone would call Monday. The wreck happened Friday 6pm 10/19/18. I got a call Saturday the 20th and gave a recorded report of what happened and sent photos. It was as if this guy had none of the info I had given yesterday. They told me to download the app and I could follow the progress of my claim. I did.
I never got a call on Monday. I called my assigned investigator via the app. No answer. She, Shannon, called me back 2 hours later to tell me they were having trouble getting in contact with the other insured driver.
During the conversation I discovered that they had wrong information on the other driver and seemed unaware that the policy holder and the person driving were two different people.
Now it's Thursday, Nothing, no progress report on app incident page, no call from Shannon.
I specifically asked her to call or email me daily even if all she could tell me was nothing new.
I am so disappointed in the total lack of common sense customer relations.
I figured because both of us were covered by Progress the claim process would be easy.
Turns out they just don't want Progress to pay to fix it.

Progressive Casualty Insurance claims

Approximately 2 years ago, I was involved in an accident with one of your clients, who was found to be at fault for the accident, this involved your clients vehicle which appeared to be a late model nissan maxima and I was driving a 1996 chevy tahoe which at the time taxes indicated was worth approximately $950, first of all I did not hear from your company for three days following accident, and when contacted agent asked for authorization to record conversation which I pleasantly agreed to, after establishing that, I was then given the 3rd degree on exact circumstances, even questions on your clients use of good judgment and use of signals, maybe necessary for your policies, but I would think my concerns should have been priority, such as, were you injured, have you been checked out by medical facilities? Once his questions were satisfied then he asked about any injuries, was vehicle lawfully drivable, I hit your client approximately 40-45mph, pretty sure your clients Nissan was totaled, my vehicle being old and more sturdy suffered a bad disfigurement to the entire front bumper/grill/headlight but was still drivable, your agent confirmed age of my vehicle and stated for me to take pics and send them to his office which I stated I had taken pics the day of accident, was then told to call his office the next day or so to recieve info where to send, when agent was contacted he stated that he needed me to bring vehicle to his office in sharonville Oh, now heres problem, I am a nurse who lives in florence Ky, but work in Cincinnati Oh, the accident took place in Cincinnati, I live 26 miles from work and Sharonville is approximately 38 miles from my house, why would I be inconvenienced over an accident that was your clients fault? I see Progressive vans driving all around my neighborhood so why couldn't they come to me? Anyway, truck did have some latent demage, stress of trying to stop before hitting your client caused entire brake system failure otherwise I would probably have gone out of my way to satisfy your agent, but was unable to, so I ended up buying another vehicle and storing tahoe untill it could be repaired, I never did receive claim and think it isn't right, I can find claim number but would like to know what I should do regarding this matter, thank you for your cooperation.

I know i am not alone. The Progressive commercials with Flo and Jamie and the talking box have wore out their welcome in out homes. We have started hitting the mute button or changing channels. Progressive it's way past time for a new, fresh, less annoying commercial! Not sure the demographic group you are trying to target but I bet it's annoys EVERYONE!

Progressive Casualty Insurance auto insurance

My policy just came up for renewal and they raised my policy amount by 25% with no new accidents or tickets siting only the claims in Washington state had gone up.
Ridiculous price gouging. The increase was simply explained as an increase in claims in my area. I do not however believe this to be the case. I would like this matter investigated to verify the companies claim that they incurred a 25% increase in claims.

I am writing to express my dis-satisfaction with progressive insurance for the claim regarding my car damage made by towing company. I was driving back from NJ to Virgina on 9/16/2018 and i called road side assitance for towing my car as there was a noice coming from muffler pipe. As soon as towing truck arrived and started loading my car in the towing truck the muffler broke completely as well as back bumper. The muffler and back bumper were completely damaged and seperated from car as the muffler pipe got stucked in towing truck edge during loading the car in towing truck. Then, the towing driver provided me a visiting card of towing company and said his company will file a claim to reimburse for the muffler and back bumper. Two days later, the insurance company called me saying someone would come to inspect the dmaged vehicle and provide an estimate for reimbursement.
I was really shocked to hear from insurance company the next day that they are going to reimburse for only back bumper but not for muffler which was the main reason of breaking back bumper. I could not accept the low estimate so, they agreed to send the adjuster to check car again and decide. Later again they informed that they will reimburse for only back bumper. This took a week and i had to manage to commute by texi to my work. You could imagine how frustrating and inconvinient my condition is.
I expect progressive insurance to be fair on my case and help me to get reimburse for my damages. I am really surprised that they even did not provide rental car and i am not receiving any cooperation from insurance adjuster in analysing the whole incident.
Dealing with this whole process is giving lot of mental and finalcial stress.
Please do something as soon as possible to get me reimburse for my damages.

Progressive Casualty Insurance underwriters excessive and untimely requirements

Yes, I recieved an insurance quotation # [protected] and my complaint does not involve either agents that spoke with me about a new policy, on the contrary, both were very helpful and courteous, no my complaint is regarding your underwriting department, and the excessive and untimely requirements they imposed, let me explain: I am a guy, I dont have all of the information regarding my entire life at my fingertips, so when your underwriting department hit me between the eyes with what I consider excessive requirements, it sent me over the moon, their requirements ? an incredible list of documents proving that I own my own home # 2 an amazing number of document proving that I had existing insurance.# 3 proof that the two vehicles I applied for insurance for where actually parked in my residence garage. Maybe you would be tempted to think that these werent so igregious, you would be wrong, because my old policy was due to expire in less than 48 hours from the time of these excessive requirements. So I did what any red blooded American would do, after I calmed down, I called another company, who had no problem issuing a policy on the spot, no documentation required, no muss, no fuss. I am paying this new policy by the month, and really would like to be your customer, I had Progressive for several years, am a good driver with very few claims over a long driving history. in fact if I were an executive working for progressive, I would characterize myself as a class A customer. Progressive Casualty Insurance auto insurance problems

Progressive likes to take money, but won't even help you out. I think they only help their friends & family. Been with them alot of years & can not believe how disgusted I am with their service & even though I was NOT at fault, they have washed their hands of the whole deal & leaving me to talk to the "other" insurance company!
That's not fair! Valerie Gomez, in El Paso, says thats the way it works.
I don't know all the ends-outs of the insurance game & Progressive is supposed to have the moxy to get things done & have options & ways to get things done!
Know a lawyer & let them handle ALL your Insurance & Banking needs. A normal consumer does not have a chance!

Progressive Casualty Insurance claim process

I am a Progressive customer and was rear ended by a Progressive customer. I went to file a claim online and followed the instructions. The screen popped up and asked if I was a guest or a customer. I proceeded as a customer, logged in and filed the claim with the information provided to me from the person that hit me. When called, I was informed that the claim was filed against my policy. I tried to get it changed and filed against the individual that hit me's policy. They said they could not and would not reverse. How is this possible. Your site is not clear. Could you help me get this reversed? Everyone knows that a claim on your policy (paid or not paid) is a negative. What can I do at this point

Progressive Casualty Insurance auto insurance adjuster

Please contact me my number is [protected]. The adjuster falsified documentation. On vehicles in order to devalue my car and I have proof of the devaluation of my car because of this. She provided me with a comparison report that gave added features to cars that in fact did not have those features and when I called her out on it she refused to respond to me now

Progressive Casualty Insurance I can not cancel my policy with progressive auto

I have been unable to cancel my auto insurance policy with this company for over two weeks! They keep asking me for more and more information all the while charging me through their "auto" payment system they made me sign up for. Please beware of this company!
I am requesting a full refund for my policy payment that was deducted from my account. I have reached out several times to customer support with no replies aside from the standard automated reply that state they received my email.

Progressive Casualty Insurance car insurance

I been with them 10 years. 2 years my insurance was very low. Progressive purposely canceled my auto pay which lapsed my coverage. I didn't notice until I received a notice saying my registration was suspended. I feel Progressive did this on purpose because my policy payment was too low. This is fraud! My policy went up to almost double. This isn't right!

Progressive Casualty Insurance car insurance

On July 26, 2018, at approximately 2:45 pm I was hit by a 2008 Toyota Corolla on E. Bonanza and Pecos.

I contacted Progressive immediately and was contacted by Ryan [protected]) on July 27, 2018. On July 31, 2018, I received a telephone call from the body shop (Ace's Brother) and was told that Progressive wanted me to bring in my car to Aces Brothers immediately because they were sending their adjuster on August 1, 2018, to evaluate the damages on my 2008 Lexus.

I rented a car for 10 days with the expectation that I would know something within 10 days. On August 3, 2018, I went to Ace's Brother to check on the status of my 2008 Lexus. I was informed that the adjuster for Progressive never showed up.

I contacted Ryan again [protected]) on August 3, 2018, and he told me there was a mix-up and that the adjuster would be at Aces Brothers on August 6, 2018, or at the latest on August 7, 2018. My husband was told that the adjuster never showed up. My husband called Ryan today (August 8, 2018) and he told him the adjuster would be there August 9, 2018.

Your company has already cost me over $400 in unnecessary car rental. If Ryan had been honest about when the adjuster would be there I would not have rushed to take my car in.

We have never had a claim and the accident was not my fault. We have been very loyal Progressive customers, but we are now considering our options. We have been treated very poorly for something we didn't cause. It leaves me with the impression that your company is unprofessional and that your employees just don't care.

Your company is going to cost me over $1, 000 in car rental fees because of the failure of your adjuster and the failure of Ryan to follow up. I place the additional financial hardship on Progressive.

I received a call from one of their adjusters named Rudy. Not only was he rude but he kept trying to make me say he accident was my fault when his client hit me. He was argumentative and spoke to me like I was a piece of trash. He used google earth trying to get me to say I was at fault not knowing my husband is in law enforcement along with myself. I look forward to Rudy speaking with my local insurance adjuster. Oh Rudy is at [protected] in the event progressive insurance wants to know who this highly unprofessional employee is. SHAME on you for trying to take advantage of a disabled veteran.

Progressive Casualty Insurance deductible savings bank

Progressive Auto Insurance is giving the impression that if you go without an accident, they will deposit $50 into a "deductible savings bank".

Progressive is being disingenuous with this offer. What they fail to tell you before you sign up for the deductible savings bank is that once you're signed up they raise your premium albeit slightly.

The issue isn't about the amount of the premium hike or even the premium hike at all. The issue has to do with Progressive not telling you before you sign up for the offer that they would raise your premium.

Customer Service, when called, was of no help. They could neither explain why the premium was raised nor waive the premium hike.

This Progressive company is at best being sneaky and unscrupulous with this offer, wasting a customer's time signing up only to have to decide whether to accept the increase in premium.

Progressive Casualty Insurance rip off on claims

It does not matter if you are right, Progressive will not care, all they care about is the money they make off of you until you have a claim. The events below they said it was a factory defect. Winnebago said they are wrong, there was and is no FACTORY DEFECT. Oh, and don't bother writing to the CEO Tricia Griffith because she will never see it. And even if she did, she was a claims adjuster for Progressive since 1988, so she will not care even if she knew.

On June 28th, 2018 a large wind storm ripped half the roof off my 2001 Winnebago that was parked on my property at my home in Boone, Co. 81025. I have the RV full coverage insured with progressive insurance and have for several years. I have never had a claim. When the roof was damaged by the wind, I called Progressive within ten minutes. Progressive said a claims adjuster would get hold of me in the next day. I advised Progressive that I was unable to do anything on the roof to protect it from further damage. Progressive said they understood and they would get right on it. A week went by and Progressive called me and said they would come look at the RV on Friday the 13th, 2018. Sixteen days after the damage occurred the adjuster came to my home to look at the damage. After inspecting the damage, the adjuster, He told me that the roof would not be covered. I asked why the roof was not covered because I had full coverage. He said because Winnebago has a problem with roofs on their RVs. I told him that if that was the case, why did Progressive not tell me that when I insured it because I have had it insured for four years with Progressive. He said he did not know and agreed it was not fair, or right but that is the way it is, and he could not do anything about it. I am now stuck with a RV that I cannot afford to fix, and I cannot use it. I told him if the roof had not been damaged Progressive would continue to take my payments every year even though they knew they would not cover the roof and would never had told me about not covering the roof! He said yes, they would have, and it is not right but that is the way it is, and he cannot do anything about that. This situation is very stressful and is causing me extreme emotional and financial grief as I live on a fixed income of only $1850.00 a month.

Progressive Casualty Insurance auto insurance

My 99 corvette which was in great shape was taken from my house and found about an hour away on a dirt road in the Colfax area (California) The Highway Patrol called to tell me that had found my car and to come take a look at it. I called Progressive the day it was taken and started the claim process. My rep told me to also go look at the car. I had sent her the keys the day before and was unable to start the car. How ever it had some undercarriage damage which the tow company mentioned to me when I called. So my rep from progressive said to release them the car and she would have it towed to a place for inspection. She was leaving that department in 2 weeks she said and wanted to get this done as quickly as possible. In that 2 weeks time I had been in contact with her and they hadn't looked at my car yet Then I checked the claim on website and I seen there was an estimate for damages for bumper and plastics under the front end that totaled over $1500.00. I thought great my car will be back soon and I would be on my way. Nope I then get a call from Lindsey my new rep telling me that they had not looked at it yet and she would get someone there as soon as she could. They had my car for 30+ days and then called and said there was nothing wrong with it. And they would be having it towed to my house in a couple of days. I was like really ? what about the damage that was done. She said there was no damage and did not know what I was talking about of the new estimate which showed no damage. I get my car back and I could not believe how they delivered it to my house it looked like it had been under ground for a tear and then un earthed The plasics on the front end were hanging off each side and the bumper was scuffed and clearly there was damage to the vehicle not to mention it looked like an abandoned car on the street And sure enough so did the Citrus Heights police who called and asked me if it was mine and I told them yes and it was very embarrassing since the car looked that bad. Anyway so I get the key the next day and was going to move it I started it up and it did not run that great but I figured since it had not run in over a month it just needed to be driven some . I Put it in drive and proceeded to pull it in my car port and it shifted from 1st to second and second to nothing. 3rd and 4th gear were gone. I immediately called Lindsey and told her of the problems And she said to take it to a shop and she would have someone come look at it. I took it to the shop where i have it serviced regularly and they did an inspection that determined the tranny was shot . I told Lindsey and she said they would determine if it had anything to do to the theft. Well of course it did the car ran fine before it was taken I have been waiting 6 days for the estimator to show up at the shop only to tell my rep that they would not cover any damage to the vehicle. I was floored I cannot believe this insurance company and I will be sueing them and filing such law suit in the next couple of days . It is unbelievable and I am dscguted with them.

I just got off the phone with your claims department because my car was pelted by base ball sized hail while I was at work. my windshield was cracked and there are tons of divots in the top of my car. I was informed that my claim was denied because there were chips of paint missing in the divots and it was not consistent with hail damage. I have had my car over 7 years and it sits outside almost in the same place for that period of time. I have never been in an accident or made a claim with your company pay my insurance on time and the first time I get damage to my car you deny me. Why do I even have your insurance I left USAA to come to you because for the same price you offered more coverage that was an out right lie. I was not the only one that had severe damage from that hail storm, but I was the stupid one for leaving the military insurance and coming over to your company.
