This complaint is regarding billing concerns
My January bill was extremely high, so I contact Progress Energy, when I asked for an explanation on why my bill was so high they (representative and supervisors) gave me different and not logic versions.
After I beg for almost an hour, to get at least a deal with them to either lower my bill, give me more time for pay for it or take it out from my deposit; they denied it stating that is not part of their policies and this is the amount of usage I used and that is what I have to pay for. I recognized that I was extremely aggravated with the situation but at least they should have a program or have the ability to work something out with the customers. I did not asked for something impossible just more time to pay my bill even do I do not agree with it.
Please help, do not let companies like this treat us (customers) like the bad people I am pretty sure I am not the only one that live check by check and does not have $500.00 to pay the electricity bill in one month.
