Professional Marketing International I lost my money

I lost my money with PMI or Professional Marketing International or PMI Coaching. I was very disappointed with their coaching service. I had 10 sessions with a coach that all he basically told me to do was do "the next lesson" and after that I was told, keep doing what I was doing. And then I was told if I had any questions to call the help line. I would call the help line and get contradictory instructions. Then I was told that “it takes time” all the time and I came to the conclusion that they just want to get more money from me.
So, I understood that, I could not carry on without any sales. I understand things take time, but without getting anything in return, we were going under ourselves. For an investment that was supposed to help us turn things around, this sorely fell short.
After some months I was very busy on my job and I did not look at my website for a couple of days and when I returned, I saw that any activity, hits, I had were all gone and that I was basically back to the very beginning and I would be starting over. I was done and I just said enough is enough. I felt much lied to and misled by this company. All my efforts for the previous 9 months had produced nothing, and I didn't want to start over again. Professional Marketing International is definitely not the company you should use!

Professional Marketing International Don't do ANY business on the internet

Was told many things, most of which were degrading to me and after many different agents, agreed to try. I told them i wanted the billing to be posted after my monthly closing date on my visa which was 04/10/10. they posted it on 03/26/10, the date of initial conversation. Who commits to an on line pressure sales pitch without checking it out? I continued to check them out and found conflicting stories. short story---don't do ANY business on the internet.

Professional Marketing International Promised Much, Delivered Nothing, Caused Bankruptcy

Before we involved with PMI and Storesonline, we were credit card debt free. Now I become credit debt and bankruptcy.

Their speakers present it sounded so real and so promising. They hook us one conference to the next. We need extra money for our kids’ education and vacation. Our kids 16, 5, and 3 and we had not been any vacations. We work two jobs. They said we can made money while we were sleeping.

We are in the 50th and are try to get the jobs that we don’t have to work two jobs and never been with the kids.

Between PMI (14, 995.0 + 2, 900), StoresOnline(over $5, 998 +$2, 999+$245.00), layer (1, 200.00), account (700.00), other business registration preparations, and credit card 21% interest, the current total cost about $35, 000.00 we are in credit card debt. They both promised that we would get all money by June 2011.

I called them so many times and never got to the person that coast me. If he called back, he talked with me less than 10 minutes. The problem never resolved. The sites both companies never completed. I asked for refund and they refused to refund. I said you could just gave me back 50% of gave to you. Another 50% lost was for my punishment for believed your company.
They still refused.

I don’t know how many people out there suffer like me. I wonder why so many American people in credit debt. I want to know how many people out there believe (I thought that big company like themselves are honest) that PMI and StoresOnline l just like me and became deadly credit debt or became bankruptcy. We as honest and trustful Poor American People who been used by rich people like PMI and StoresOnline .

This reasons why American economy went to hell. Our economy went to hell and is going down because of the rich and big companies like PMI and StoresOnline who do not care others. As long as they “think legally” still from the poor people who look extra cash to help their family and end up deadly in big financial problems or become bankruptcy. Legally---put in fine print or poor people cannot afford to hire a lawyer to go after them.

Now 1 year and three months, I still not have any websites from both companies. Mean times, I have to pay my credit card debt.

Like I mentioned, I was able to get refunds from PMI and the Tax Club. If you haven't gotten assistance at this point, please contact me at either the e-mail or the phone number listed above! Hope to hear from you soon! Mary

Hello there. I feel much better now, knowing that there are many more people who had bad experience with The Tax Club and PMI Direct, and Stores Online. Until not long ago I thought I was "intellectually challenged" not to able to get anywhere with The Tax Club and PMI. I realised I was totally scammed by the Tax Club after having preliminary dealings with a different company offering the same business services as the The Tax Club. There was no pressure on their part. First I was informed clearly regarding services and charges, everything was followed up in writting. I also needed to provide them with a Limited Power of Attorny so that they can act on my behalf. Only after everything was signed and sealed would I need to pay. The Tax Club representative outlined thei services over the phone: Company set up, business bank account, services of a resident agent (I do not live in the US), personalised tax advice, and business line of credit. I felt that $4000 was a fair price to pay and so I did. The same day appointments were made for me with different consultants. Very efficient service, I thought to myself, until I discovered that with each appointment there was more money to be paid. That I refused. I did get sucked in, though, to pay for their perfectly pointless bookkeepiing service. I was entering my financials on undertanding that the two, The Tax Club and Bookeeping communicate. Only when prodded, The Tax Club told me they didn't? In the end I am left with an LLC in USA with no bank account and no resident agent. ergo can't run the business.
I got sucked in by the PMI for the coaching program. Promised coaching, with failure being not an option after completing their program. Delivered recorded sessions I spent hours staring into the computer screen. Still have no website and will not have one until I get a bank account. I do have a problem with Stores Online because they have given away my contact details to two shonky operators. So that's my story.

Hello Poor Family - There is hope! My husband and I too were taken by PMI and the Tax Club last year for more than $18, 000.00. Everything that you said is basically our story as well. We are hard-working, trusting individuals who never thought that companies such as these could take advantage of innocent people like they do.

I was at the end of my rope after being basically "laughed at" when I called them (that is when I could get through) and I was trying to find a contingency attorney to try to get SOME of our investment back. I was googling trying to find help and posting complaints on every forum I could find. Finally I came across Utahconsumeradvocate.com and they called me. Like I am sure you are at this point, I was hesitant to get involved with anyone else because I was afraid that they would scam me out of some MORE money. Well, just the opposite! First of all, Utah Consumer Advocate doesn't charge a dime until you get a refund! In just over a month we were refunded ALL of our money from these two companies. I realize that it is not typical to get a FULL refund but we would be willing to help you to get as much back as you possibly can! (I work for them now!). I am happy to try to help innocent people such as yourselves fight and win against these scam companies. Please e-mail me at MJustified@gmail.com at your earliest convenience or call me at [protected] x- 720 (I may not be able to answer the phone right away but please leave a message and I will get back with you ASAP!) I look forward to speaking with you soon! Mary

Professional Marketing International Promised Much, Delivered Nothing

My experience is very similar to what Dr. Joseph F Cortese experienced. I was comforted by his report. He was better organized than I was, yet he experienced the same frustration. PMI got into me for $9050, considerable less than the $15, 000 they got from Dr. Cortese. My ordeal started March 5, 2010. Eventually they made 5 "Landing Pages, " websites with links to products for sale, I attempted to make one but could never finish it, a task I concluded was impossible, and "published" them. When I checked on them, the unfinished page came up first, totally discouraging further exploring by potential customers. Even after getting the unfinished page removed, there was absolutely no sales, maybe because there was no exposure to traffic! An attempt to get a total refund got an offer of $1920 if I would sign a statement to shut my mouth. Can you imagine the audacity to buy my silence with my own money?! Finally in April, 2011, I finished a letter explaining the Grand Larceny Theft by Scam, addressed and mailed to the FBI, Sheriffs, Chiefs of Police, Attorney Generals, Better Business Bureaus, Chambers of Commerce, and Utah Division of Consumer Protection. I found addresses in Salt Lake City, Lehi, Spanish Fork, UT; Jefferson City MO; Jackson MS; Phoenix AZ; Kansas City MO. PMI, BBB, and Detective Mark Birch of Lehi Police responded. I do have Good News!

June 17th, PMI by FedEx sent me a check for the balance of $9050 they owed me after 2 refunds early on. My remaining monetary loss is $1530 in interest I paid on that amount on my credit card. I asked them if they would do for me what they had tricked me to do for them, borrow money and pay interest on it. I've not seen, nor do I expect to see, a check for the interest amount, so their answer to my question is, "NO."

I wonder about the BBB. Now that the thief has returned the amount he stole from me, is he not a thief anymore and he can have his A+ Rating back?

Professional Marketing International Refusal to Refund

In August of 2010 I signed on with Professional Marketing International (PMI) of Lehi, Utah. I was assured that within a few months I would see some viable income from a venture into the world of selling quality wine racks on the Internet. I studied the lessons they supplied, and worked hard at accomplishing everything I was advised to do. As time went on and there were no sales and thus no money coming in, I had to obtain a part time job just so I could pay essential bills and keep ahead of creditors. I fell farther and farther behind, though, as I struggled to at least make minimum payments on my debts that resulted from this association with PMI.
The company, through an advisory coach or consultant, was very much aware of my financial situation, and my availability. I dedicated every Thursday to working on the website business, since that was the only work day I was able to do so. Yet, the coach insisted on calling me for our telephone conferences six times on Fridays, out of a total of 11 times, with no rescheduling considered at all due to my working situation. Instead, PMI records show that I was a “no show!”
Wouldn’t you think, upon reviewing a list of these conferences and seeing that all of the six “no shows” were on Fridays, something was odd? Why were no attempts made by PMI to reschedule these at a time that I was available, instead of simply blowing them off? They were promised as a part of the original package. By the way, until quite recently, I was totally unaware that I was “cheated” out of these six sessions. I find that itself unbelievable.
The company never made any offer to change me to another coach until I had filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Utah on 4/25/2011. Initially, PMI offered me a $2, 000 “rebate for business expense.” Yet, they had the audacity to tell the BBB that I had received the “rebate” and “agreed to continue working with one of our top consultants.” I have NOT received a $2000 rebate, and I never agreed to continue working with this company. As a matter of fact, there was no follow-up or checking in with me to see why my site was not functioning, nor any contact from PMI, until I filed the complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
I did receive a form authorizing the monetary “rebate” a few days after their “offer.” However, I read it very carefully, and then faxed the required paperwork to PMI, attached with a noted amendment that I had written. I signed the amendment in place of the original standard form from them, the reason being that I refuse to sign any document which states that the entire situation is resolved by my signature, and that I no longer hold PMI responsible for any further action or financial reimbursement on their part. Let the consumer beware, and always read the fine print before signing anything. Or so I was taught.
Allow me to share with you that I am a scholar, researcher, a voracious reader, a published author, and an experienced educator with two Masters Degrees and two Doctorates. I trusted PMI to do a credible job, since they were recommended by a business associate of mine. I never expected to be flat broke to the tune of over $15, 000 because of the trust I had placed in PMI. All I have to show for my efforts is an extremely undesirable and damaging financial crisis.

As a Christian, I have left this matter concerning PMI up to the Lord. Just remember, you liars: what goes around comes around. Perhaps you at PMI are proud of your success and special ability in swindling and cheating honest, gullible people, such as myself and many, many others.
Since PMI has branched out under so many new names to disguise their identity and keep up their deceitful practices, a reliable source has told me that Professional Marketing International of Lehi, Utah, has kept the same acronym, but that PMI now stands for PATHOLOGICAL MISREPRESENTATION & iNVERACITY.
Has anyone else heard this wonderful news?

This is not the first time you have responded to me on this page. How does anyone know they can trust YOU? Surely, you do not get any type of refund back from PMI, if you really do so at all, without charging a FEE. After all the research I have done, and all the steps I have taken to do this on my own without shelling out more money to those who pretend to represent my interests, what guarantee can you possibly offer, since no one else seems to be able to? I can add you to my "Ignore List" like so many others. Fraud, lies, abound...

This company is beyond disreputable and despicable. They lie and swear to it. I could write a book on how they engineered my fiasco. They use the same script and the same routine each time they sucker in a new client, just different characters or names. They are a bunch of non-Christian, expert, pathological liars. Some of the things they said in my so-called impartial arbitration through the Better Business Bureau of Utah, as well as their response to an investigation by the Attorney General of Utah, are blatant outright lies, things which never took place. I have all the documented evidence in the world to prove I am right, but all they had to do was stick to their story: "You signed the agreement; we offered you a $2000 refund IF you agreed to give us another six months to help you become successful, but you turned it down." Why would I agree to such terms when they already had my nearly $15, 000 up front before they even helped me at all? We victims face an insurmountable task. All we can do is band together and file a class action lawsuit against this monster. I am convinced that that is the only way we will ever see justice done. No one receives refunds from PMI; no one succeeds either, especially in these harsh economic times. The only one achieving success at all WHILE USING OUR MONEY is PMI!

Update by Dr. Joseph F. Cortese
Apr 03, 2012 8:20 pm EDT

PMI has NEVER refunded me any money, much less $2, 000, as claimed by Marque “Q” Trosper, Vice President, Customer Relations. That is a blatant lie. This matter has NOT been resolved legally, or otherwise.

Spencer Heward, Investigator with the Utah State Department of Commerce, Department of Consumer Protection, says PMI is not in violation of any consumer laws in Utah. Perhaps ethics and morals do not matter in Utah.

How this company has managed to hoodwink me and many, many others demonstrates how well it has mastered the art of deceit. The company employs pathological liars disguised as mentors who pounce upon and take advantage of good people.

Judging by the number of people who have filed complaints against this company and its affiliates, I am not alone. I cannot be dismissed as just an “occasional dissatisfied client, ” as Trosper labels me in his written response to Heward’s investigation. That is not the proper term for my complaint.

Mr. Trosper, write the truth. I could not complete the tutorials because you denied me access to the lessons. You locked me out of my own educational material on your PMI Education Center.

In addition, you never afforded me the opportunity to make-up sessions I missed when Mentor Jordan Foutz was fully aware of why I was unavailable at the times he insisted he call me. Despite that fact, I still completed 87% of the lessons and assignments, BUT have never received one red cent from selling products on my site, following the PMI formula for success. What a farce!

Mr. Marque “Q” Trosper, I was NEVER refunded $2, 000 on 12/13/11. Where is your proof of that claim? All that has ever happened since the woeful day you first conned me into maxing out my good wife’s Wells Fargo credit card is you and PMI have taken and run with the money. Period.

How can you or the BBB, or any arbitrator, or any so-called Consumer Protection Division call yourself truthful, or honest? You, Mr. “Q, ” have never spoken with me or communicated with me directly. Had you ever done so, instead of insulating and surrounding with your employees who told you their version of my complaint, this matter would be resolved quite some time ago. It is I who have sought resolution, not you and PMI. That says it all!

I trusted PMI to do a credible job, since they were recommended by a business associate of mine, Dan Vega of the Blue Star Business Institute of Springfield, MO. I never expected to be flat broke to the tune of over $15, 000 because of the trust I had placed in PMI. All I have to show for my efforts is an extremely undesirable and damaging financial crisis. Our office received the attached letter from you which indicates that you are not satisfied with the decision rendered by the arbitrator in your case, Jason Burger. While we understand your frustration, please understand that the decision is final.

After seeking resolution through the Better Business Bureau of Utah, all avenues were exhausted since PMI never was really ever interested in settling with me for a full refund. An arbitrator was assigned to the case in November 2011. I was totally stunned when his decision was the same as what PMI originally offered me. I notified the BBB of Utah that I would not comply with that decision. The letter follows:
Regarding the Arbitration Decision of Jason Burger in my ongoing dispute with Professional Marketing International, in the many pages of documentation that I had submitted, I believe that I had made it very clear that it is impossible for me to work with PMI for a period of six more months. In these uncertain economic times, I do not possess the finances necessary to even pay for an extension of all the services and fees related to the maintenance of the website.
All the study materials can be easily returned to PMI. I have no problem with that. The problem is money: I have none left because I put everything I had into this ill-fated investment. Therefore, I will pursue this dispute as long as I must, since there are other avenues that can be used. The reasons listed by the arbitrator in his Decision show a poor understanding or a misunderstanding of the many pages of testimony I submitted. For example, PMI knew that my site was providing no financial income for me and that I had to get some type of gainful employment before I lost my home. They knew my concerns up-front. I was always totally honest with them. Unfortunately, they were not honest with me. They made no allowances whatever for rescheduling sessions that I could not possibly attend. PMI makes it sound like I “cut” the sessions, on purpose. That is ludicrous.
How could I be available for prearranged sessions when I was working another job because I had to generate some type of income? Thus, I HAD to be “simultaneously involved in a variety of business ventures as well as writing a book.” I still had sufficient time to “devote to the development of this business venture, ” attested by the fact that I researched and wrote many articles to promote the site, as well as studied materials on the days I did not work on my other “business ventures.”
“If there are less time constraints on Mr. Cortese now, I recommend he take advantage of the ruling.” What if there are more time constraints now? The Arbitration Decision merely repeats the “offer” made by PMI of $2, 000 refund IF I agree to continue via their mentoring hotline for a period of six months. The Decision makes no allowance for any other alternative. That is totally unacceptable. Please notify PMI that I will no longer “take advantage of this opportunity, ” since it is not an opportunity; rather, it is an impossibility.
I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED BY PMI, AND KNOW THAT I AM ENTITLED TO A FULL REFUND FOR THEIR MISREPRESENTATION AND NONDELIVERANCE OF CONTRACTED SERVICES. PLEASE HELP.

Since I originally wrote my complaint, I have been compliant and followed the recommended Better Business Bureau process. This led to an arbitration process that was 100% favorable to PMI. I firmly disagreed with the hurried, BBB-backed decision, and have informed the Attorney General of Utah, whose office in investigating my case. I have not heard any positive feedback yet; perhaps justice will be served, and senior citizens who are targeted as "sucker-consumers" by marketing companies, such as PMI, will be offered some type of protection and respite from being ripped off as I was.

I paid PMI --- to make me a website --- Well it isn't that easy to sell on the Internet -- I never made a site because it sounded like a bad deal -- to many variables to go wrong and not make any money -- shipping fees, fees for credit cards, web fees, checking account fees, fees for product -- also need to know product before selling it -- if PMI hooked people up with drop shippers --- or people who want their product sold -- able to look at product and test it -- It would not be a bad idea --- too many variables for novices
-- my coaches were nice but I refused to go any further --- I learned a lesson --- One needs lessons on a lot of things to be in business -- not just a little bit of marketing -- I got a book on how to sell on ebay and another book on how to sell on amazon -- there are a lot of variables -- I would not say that my experience was so bad -- not complete -- they need more -- but the top thing is you need to know your product and a good relationship with the people that buying the product from

I can help you retain a refund from PMI or any other scam company! I know through experience that getting the money back was only part of the relief that I felt. It was a GREAT feeling not having to always work on my "business" that they assured me would MAKE A LOT OF MONEY! That was a lie - I made NOTHING & incurred thousands in unnecessary bills (not only from PMI & the Tax Club but the stupid things that they told me that were necessary - like a business phone line, an LLC, an 800 number- I COULD GO ON & ON! I'm STILL paying for all of that!)
It was also GREAT SATISFACTION knowing that these scam companies didn't get my money!

I was also ripped off by pmi I sign up in November 2011. December I asked for a stop payment and a refund of my investment of $ 499.99. I was told to call back in April 2012 I called back and they said no refund I could use it for credit if I wanted to continue. I send at least a dozen emails and asked for help and no one would call me they would just email me and say just do this or this. I had no idea what they where talking about so I did not get any help. I'm sure not satisfied. I have all the email I sent them.

I too was scammed by PMI & The Tax Club! I am a very wise, college educated (obviously trusting) woman who also fell for these fast talking liars! I also tried to go the BBB, Attorney General & FTC route. This got me nowhere! Luckily I found Utah Consumer Advocate and was able to get ALL OF MY MONEY BACK!

If you are interested in getting your money back from these thieves, please contact me at mjustified@gmail.com. I will steer you in the right direction to put this nightmare behind you!

This is not another SCAM!

Hello Mr. Morrisette -

I am sorry to hear about your friend. These companies do not discriminate against old, young, unemployed - they have no conscience and don't care who they rip off! As far as putting these thieves out of business, I really don't know why it hasn't happened but slowly but surely the FTC seems to be getting a lot of these scam companies.

I am familiar with this Tally guy. Please contact me via e-mail or phone and I am sure that we can help your friend. We do not charge anything until your friend gets a refund! We help people get their money back and it is a great feeling to see justice done!

Professional Marketing International New to this scam

I recently purchased Anthony Morrison's books on internet marketing from an infomercial. I hadn't had the materials very long before I got a phone call from Professional Marketing International. I was pressured to purchase for over an hour. I was told that if I paid a lump sum (thousands of dollars) that I wouldn't have to pay anymore money. I explained that if I put it on my credit card I would not be able to pay the minimum payment. He assured me that I would be taught how to sell on ebay and could make enough money until I got the program going. I fell for the sales pitch. There was no ebay training. I only did the orientation and the first lesson before I realized there was more money to be spent. I proceeded to try and back out of the program. Only to be reminded I only had three days to cancel. Of course my orientation wasn't until a week after I had paid the money. Now I cannot pay the minimum credit card payment. When I spoke to the Quality department they said I could not get out of it. Since I have no more money to put into the program I am forced to stop. I sought council and was advised to file bankruptcy. I am only asking for a refund. To me if they guarantee customer satisfaction they would give me my full refund. The sad thing is I was just trying to help my elderly mother with some bills.

PMI pays huge money to Anthony Morrison for your contact information (you become a "lead"). The two have nothing to do with each other except that one pays the other because the fact that you bought his crappy book says that you might be a sucker for their lame coaching/mentoring program.
How do I know this? I worked there for 3 years. I made a nice six-figure income scamming unsuspecting consumers that want nothing more than to make some extra money working from home. PMI buys leads from Stores Online, /name removed/, Anthony Morrison, Dave Espino (Ebay lead) Angela Penbrook and others. They do millions in sales per week and the guys doing the selling get about 20% of that. The rest goes to to the coaches whom are mostly sales guys that couldn't sell and needed an easier job, the cost of their big ### office and to pay people like Morrison for the lead. Morrison is in the game so he can sell his lead to sales floors like PMI for millions of dollars. He probably loses money on his book but it's all worth it if he can sell a lead that will allow PMI and others to bilk consumers out of millions each week. Good move not "investing" into their program. I promise they won't be the last company to call you and try and sell you the dream

Write a short letter of just the facts of your "purchase" that earned you no money. Send it to the Utah Attorney General, Bureau of Consumer Affairs, Better Business Bureau, and Lehi Town Police and PMI. Get addresses from each website. All responded to my letter. I'm waiting for my refund, submitted just minutes ago.

Professional Marketing International Pressure to give credit card info

I have been contacted recently by PMI because I purchased Anthony Morrison’s "Marketing Profits From Home" package. I like what I have read in his books, and feel that I made a sound purchase. (it was under $25.00) The program does include very good information and what is not included is easily found for free online.

After reading all kinds of comments referring to PMI, I recognize so many of the catch phrases that they (Trevor) used on me, just as they did on other people who have purchased numerous other products over the last couple of years. I have successfully put them off so that I could do research on their company before I spent my money with them.

I recognize a sales pitch right away. I recognize them creating a "sense of urgency" to buy their service. I recognize "the take-away", that if I don’t buy in today, I could lose my spot to someone else. I recognize transferring me to a “closer” after building me up with scenarios of success, if only I will follow exactly what they say.

Then I am transferred to Matt R., the closer. Trevor has set up this phone appointment for me to speak with him, and I am told that not may people get to speak with Matt. So, at the appointed time Matt calls and goes over some of the same warm-ups that Trevor did. Then we get to the most interesting part. He wants to know how much money I am ready to put on my credit card TODAY. It goes around and around with me asking specific questions that are ignored in favor of more talk of how I am lucky to have this opportunity, how he gets paid whether or not I am ready to be a success and start today. He is preparing to start making a plan with me when I tell him my credit cards are in my safe deposit box in my bank. Everything screeches to a halt. I am asked when can I get to my cards, because we can go no further without my cards. I ask for a specific written accounting of what this $6, 965.00 is going to cover. I am told he is happy to do that AFTER I pay for the “course”. I am given nothing, absolutely nothing, to make me feel safe and secure about giving my credit card to a complete stranger. My questions don’t get answered and I am redirected each time I attempt to get any sort of information.

I am supposed to speak with the people at PMI again once I have credit card in hand. I will call them and ask why I have found so many cases of people unhappy with their service from many products they have “courses” for. I will ask why all the testimonials have almost word for word quotes of what the PMI sales people say to get us to fork over a large sum of money.

They wont be getting mine. I will work Anthony’s book without PMI and try to contact Anthony on my own to see if he knows what PMI is representing. I suggest that anyone who has found their way to this forum looking for info on PMI will keep their credit cards in their pockets and run for the hills.

PMI is bad news and don’t have our best interest in mind. If you have made it here, your gut is telling you something isn’t right with Professional Marketing International. Listen to your gut, and save yourself a lot of grief and a bad investment. (and to strengthen your decision, go to the BBB website and see how many times this company has changed its name.)

Good afternoon!

Mr. Morrision I am not sure if you will get this e-mail personally, but I would like to let you know what I have endured today with your 3rd party company PMI [protected] rep named Ben Petersen called to see if I would like to participate in your program he asked all the question and collected the in he need than for ward me to his Supervisor Mitch Reve, to finish the process, well You have a big problem on your hands and he make your company look very bad, he was very nasty, arrogant and ignorant, He discriminated against me and he Antagonize me. I hung up he called my home 5 times, the first 3 time I did not answer my phone I hung it up again my phone ringed more than 10 to 15 time, I finally answer the call again that stupid jerk told me i lack integrity and a bunch of BullS. I am very angry and up set and I do not never want your 3rd party to every call me every again. I have never experience this type of unprofessional-ism in my life, if you would like a copy of that phone call I will make you a copy and send it to you. I spoke with Customer service dept she froward me to Quality Assurance I spoke with Greg Billbomb he advised that he would escalated to the manager he pretended he did know which manager he will esc to this was at 11:56 am texas time. I called Ben Petersen and ask for Reves superior have told me Mr. Chris Baltold ext 3329, I spoke with him he said that the company record the phone calls also, and I told him that I want to file a complaint, he pretty much told me I could with him I said I want to speak with vp, ceo or someone who will take this matter serious and he told me that I will not be able to take to vp or ceo that they don't take calls, I told him that I would file a compaint with BBB and the FCC, He said please dont file a compaint as if I was joking, he that he would write him up, to call him to marrow around the same time sarcastic, So my only other option is to put my tape on the Internet and so everyone can hear this hot mess, may be you should not nolonger have a contract with this company they will help you lose business more business. I left a message with Mr chris brown who suppose to be the vp, I wait for his phone call and go from there, maybe be the ceo will have both rep apologize for their unprofessional behavior, I just thought I would let you know the garbage you have calling people are very unprofessional.

Professional Marketing International Make you think you can earn your money back

They led me to believe that I could make enough money by the time my first credit card payment was due to make the payment. Four months later I haven't made any money and have made 3 payments. I am just getting pushed from one place to another and one person to another also I have had 3 different coaches so far. I call to get help no one answers or I get a recording to leave a message and they will call me back. They don't call back. I am very disappointed and discouraged with this whole program. I have been working lots of hours doing my training programs, doing what my coaches tell me, doing advertising and so far nothing to show for it. I would not advise anyone to join this program. There has got to be something easier, more helpful, and less expensive out there than this. I just wish I had read this before I gave my money to them.

I paid 10, 550 and in 5months had 3 trainers and not all of them knew what they were doing or wondered why I did not have things up and running or They sent me to someone and that person would say your trainer should tell you how to do that. They made a video and suubmited it to My Space under my name that was against copy write laws (My Space locked me out until I took a class on copy write laws) and PMI said I had to fix it and If I could not fix it they said to register under another name and try again. i could not get them to answer my calls or return them. After 5 months I made $10.45 not enough for them to send me acheck.
Stay away from them!

Professional Marketing International they lead you to think you can make money easy no way

This company said we could make good money easy, its not true . We spent at least 100 to 120 hours trying to find a supplier but all the ones we found won't sell whole sale, and that means we would of had to charge more than the people we would get the product from, so that means we would have to over charge for the product we are no theives, at least to the people that didn't look further on the net. But like myself I look for the best price on products so that means no one would buy from us. And when we tried to get at least some of our money back they said it has been to long $14.000 dollars ripped off, my advise is don't use this company at all...

You are correct. Then they state that they will provide you a representative to guide you thru setup of your web page but they are not available when you need their input. They took me for $16, 000 and I have been trying to sell my products online for a year. You can not sell if no one can find your web site. They do not provide SEO support at all. What did I pay for? E Biz Pro Software to develop my web page? They stated that they would continue to submit web page to over 2000 web browsers. Did they? I can not tell for I am getting 10 people if that per day visiting my web page. What a SCAM!

After a tour of their building, it is obvious that at least 75% of their floorspace is call centers. 10% training, and 10% looks. They have corporate offices, I'd say 5%, but certainly not enough to maintain information and assist personally in businesses all over the world. I am beginning to believe that they are a sales company, and a coaching company - with sales and coaches being the 7.25/hr + commission kid off the street. Is that who you want running your business? Not me.
Really - as it was explained to me - the quicker you can get them to talk about their credit cards, the better.
Really? Right now? In the middle of an economic recession? One fueled by stupid debt choices? I don't know. Maybe not the best plan.

Professional Marketing International Terrible experience

I am interested in learning about PMI & working with them on web based advertising. I would appreciate any info. good or bad. I can't afford to lose any money as I live on Social Security. I found one web site that had about 1/2 good things about them & 1/2 said they had trouble getting their money refunded & didn't get any help in setting up the program. They did say they have been referred to as Professional Marketing International coaching in the past.

I just got off the phone with PMI. I got a hard sell that ended in a temper tantrum from the PMI marketer because I wouldn't give him my credit card info after 1/2 hour on the phone. I'm retired and old enough to know that pressure selling often means little or no product.

Joe,

The biggest ### is the one who speaks without performing his or her research first. So, how many of our testimonials have you called to confirm your point of view? Zero? I thought so.

Obviously, you have lost your money to PMI. However, don't get mad at me. I have assisted clients in recovering over $750, 000 from ill-fated home-based businesses, including Stores Online and PMI.

Please allow me to assist you in your research of Business Recovery Services. First, go to our main website, www.businessrecoveryservices.net for general information. Then, go to our testimonial website, www.brstestimonials.com to talk to actual people who have recovered their money from a variety of ill-fated home-based businesses, including Stores Online and PMI.

Please contact me on this complaint board once you have performed the adequate research to make a determination on what Business Recovery Services could do for people who have lost money with a home-based business.

Joe, either do the research or stop this ridiculous clatter. Either "PUT-UP" or "SHUT-UP."

I am with storesonline and started with them when they came up to Victoria British Columbia, Canada about 5 weeks ago. We bought the Platinum Package and was told that they would help get 1 website up and running. We also went with PMI for 2 web sites. So far I have had no real problems. PMI have been helping me with picking a product and how to find a nich in the market place. I have had a meeting on the phone with the person who will be teaching me, whch went well. Like anything the proof is in the puding. I will keep anyone who is whatching posted on how much help I get and how my website is progressing.

Stay away from PMI. We lost $13, 800 to this company! The information or coaching they are using to get you started you can find for free or close to nothing!
Our coaching mentor was named Kelly, we never got her when we tried to call for help, plus she never called us back!

Best advice, don't answer the phone when these people (PMI, Professional Marketing International, ) call!

Professional Marketing International $14,400 Worth of Nothing

In February 2008 we purchased the StoresOnline 6 website package. No complaints there. Once you cut through the sales hype you have a good website building tool with strong resources.

It’s the call we got shortly after from PMI (compliments of their affiliation with StoresOnline) that started us down the path of regret.

“Let us do the marketing so you can focus on your business.” You have to promise to put in at least 10 hours per week. Yes they do some start up work but the focus is on training you to do it yourself.

“You must be open minded and teachable.” You are asked to underline this quote as you take notes. They make it clear you are not to question their work – they know what they are doing and you will mess it up if you want to make changes. The copy they wrote was tacky and cookie cutter. It was out of character for our products and a definite turn off for any shopper visiting our site.

Everything they teach is demonstrated in the training and resources that came with the StoresOnline package. We didn’t need to pay this kind of additional money for do-it-yourself. They do bring you to Salt Lake City, Utah for two days in their training center. Unfortunately, most of the participants arrived still clueless on how to get started with their StoresOnline package. We had already published 3 of our 6 websites utilizing the StoresOnline instructions. Our time there was largely review of what we had already started.

Interesting note – our one website we didn’t let them touch is excelling. It is also the first we ever published.

“Imagine, if you make just one $25 sale per website per day that equals $54, 000 per year!” Wow, tempting (assuming you pay them enough to work up all six websites.) $14, 400 and one year later - zip, zilch, nada for the three websites we agreed to develop with them. Kind of hard to get your investment back quickly at this rate.

“Use a major credit card to make your purchase so you have recourse if you’re not happy.” You then learn the training is a 6 month program. The 200 online directories they submit your websites to is done over a 12 month period. It often requires many months of patience while your sites slowly worm their way up through the search engines. Uh-oh - looks like your window of opportunity to register a dispute with you credit card has expired.

And those 200 directory submissions? Many directories send out confirmation e-mails and others require a response to confirm. We have never seen any of these e-mails. We could use the list of those directories, too, so we can maintain the resubmissions.

When it came time to do the e-mail campaign, we were directed to a page where we were to write the e-mail ourselves for PMI to send out. Shouldn’t the professional marketing firm draft the e-mail subject to client approval? We would prefer not to end up in everyone’s spam box between “More Manhood” and “Print Your Own Diploma”.

At this point, we’re just plain discouraged. Our last exchange with PMI was in September. They have never made any attempt to follow up with us – ask what we think of their work – check in on our progress. They essentially disappeared along with our money.

So PMI is a proud member of the Rip-off Corporate Advocacy Business Remediation & Customer Satisfaction Program? Frankly we are not interested in letting PMI do any additional work for us – once around was enough. At this point, a refund of our money plus interest (yes, we’re still making credit card payments) is the only acceptable resolution.

Contact from PMI is welcome in writing only via e-mail or on paper.

I had the same experience with PMI, paid $15, 000, got nothing out of the payment. Their service is bad, I think Storesonline is good, at least they have the 24 hour live chat service. And we only paid less than half of what we paid PMI> What does PMI have? So let me know how to file the complaint to get our money back, at least half back. Thank you!

I am still waiting for you to come into the light of day and identify yourself. What is your real name, you slimeball? Chances are that you work for PMI. If you do, then that would explain your ridiculous postings.

Ya I did a Pre tax package. Then a few days later I get called by PMI asking if i want to be in the intercircle blah blah. Have some one personally train me i just have to devote 10 hours a week same sales pitch from above just different product except it was 9000. They pretty much look for how much you can put on your credit card and then set the price it seemed. Don't do it they called plenty of times to get me set up then once I was never heard from them again and for some reason you can never get through their phoe numbers they give you.

Professional Marketing International Terrible service!

After being called by this company, the first representative asked if I was going to work with this company. After stating that I was not interested due to the amounts of BBB discrepancies, the representative started their pressure selling tactics. Frustrated with this, I resulted in swearing at the person, and she hang up.

Shortly after this, I was contacted by Mac Hall from this company. During conversation with him, I mentioned that I like to take vacations in Asia. He stated to me, that if I take vacations in Asia, I obviously had to be a child molester. Since I have lives in Asia for over a 12, years, six of them in the military, I knew that child molestation was not the first interest if people who visit Asian countries. I also believe, that stating this type of thing from a company, is one of the worst cases of discrimination against them I have ever heard.

I do note that as I was very mad at this representative, I did use vulgar language while speaking with him. It would be easier if he had just hanged up. When I mentioned I was in the military, he stated that it must have been some kind of Peabody scout group. He was speaking to a veteran with 21 years in the Army, have been awarded the Bronze Star, Air Medal, and other awards. To just automatically, talk bad about someone when it is stated they have been in the military, is just in bad taste.

Finally, yes I did use bad language, but when I miss pronounced a word, he jumped all over my, stating I must be drunk or on drugs. I have had a stroke in my life and have a speech impediment, which is why I end up using swearing, to get rid of someone, I cannot speak to face-to-face. But, as I tried to explain this to the representative, he would just go on about drinking, saying if you talk like that, you must be on 20-20 (A cheap wine I think), or some other type of drink. As a disabled, person, who has gone from not being able to speak or write, I hate being jumped on for mispronouncing a word or too, but along with hating Asians and veterans, this company has no use for disabled people.

PMI is misleading, they make you feel like you can't make it in life if you don't do their program, and at the same time they make you feel special with all the best wishes, until you sign up.. Then after that, they never returned my phone calls, and I would leave messages, but no return. So much for wanting me to get a head in life, they were happy they got their money, and that's where the relationship stopped. I canceled, and put blocks on my credit cards, and talked with the better business bureau, and I'm still holding my breath to get my money back.. though the credit card company is fighting it. Please people, don't fall for this SCAM. It may be a business, but the people are Scam oriented. And will not help you as they say. Peace people.

I work at a property that once hosted a PMI weekend and they are NASTY people. They stole food from another group, mostly elderly women, bullied them, tried to take over a space that the group had paid for. A man shoved his open palm at a female employees face but did not hit her, just threatened her. A female went up to an elderly women guest and yelled at her and called her a thief because she was sitting in her chair. I could go on and on but my point is, please beware of PMI people because people who cannot behave themselves in public are usually much worse in private.

Similar encounter with a Mr. McGurk...very rude and obnoxious. I had called to cancel (which according to the contract I had the right to before a certain time ) after realizing I wasn't financially able to take on this venture at the moment but still had the intention of signing up when I had settled a few issues in my life...I did not get to convey this to Mr. McGurk because as soon as he heard the word cancel he immediately developed a nasty attitude and told me I was wasting his time and he hates wasting his time and arrogantly told me to call customer service so I told him to get lost and hung up on him.

PMI is nothing but full time scammers and Ponzi schemers. They will suck every dime out of your credit card for empty promises. The government should step in and do something about this company with illegal and false sales tactics. The only thing you need when you speak to these people is a huge jar of Vaseline.

My husband and I also have a very bad experience with that scammer PMI or Professonal Marketing International who are far from being professionals. They have a very bad sales tactics. They called us even it is already 11:00 PM. Had us believe they are going to show us step by step and do most of the work for us to make sure we will be a success story in our area in online business or internet marketing. After they got our money, they seldom called. When we contact them, they have changed their number several times. We emailed them and no one answered our e mail. They have no chat person that you can asked. In their virtual classroom which is difficult to understand because it is too fast, there will be nobody to ask...and they muted us so we cannot ask questions. How can anyone learn with this system? When we finally got hold of them, they were saying we seldom call them. Then some of their many reason for bad service was internet crash..., secretary error, and we had 2 accounts, one showing we cancelled. We told them that is we were not their costumer why did they called us 2 times after we paid. And Our credit and debit cards states we they took out money from us. Then they said we have 2 accounts, 1 was we cancelled and 1 was we paid for the service. When their collecting agent called us because we intentionally left no money in the account so they cannot collect, We got the tel number because we complained to the collection agent. Then the above was their reason and I demanded they cancel us or I will report to consumer complaints panels. We were cancelled monthly payments but never got out downpayment back.

I signed up with PMI through a separate home income website, who charged me $97 to get to PMI, then another $97 for the "VIP" package. Immediately I began working with a PMI rep, who quickly explained that I can get into their services with full-time coaching, easier internet access, & a website builder for approx. $3400. I said I don't have that kind of money; she agreed to put me on a payment plan of $200/month for 18 months, insisting that if I did what they told me, I'd have the payments easily just from my internet business. I agreed, took the online courses, etc. But, when I was ready to go onto the website builder, I was locked out. The service number always went to voicemail with no call backs. Finally, I got through to a 'tech', who said he'd email to me instructions on getting on the sight & navigating it. No email. I eventually figured out the site, & realized the web-building is so complicated, you NEED them to train you to use their site (and their templates are not pleasing to the eye). I quickly checked out godaddy.com & vistaprint.com; they do all of the same w/ service, website optimizing, etc., all that I learned from PMI, except for about $20/month...and, you easily get a very nice-looking site. Godaddy's assistance is immediate; PMI's was non-existent until I started sending urgent emails, threatening to cancel. The upshot is that PMI did let me cancel & they canceled the loan, & the original $97 + $97 from the introduction was also refunded (but I had to go through the separate web site to get it), & do it all within 30 days. But, they wouldn't refund me the $400 deposit for the loan.

Bottom line: you can get better service, immediate help, & a beautiful, custom website for much less on your own. The fee PMI charges is a risk, like any business expense, but a good businessperson knows how to start low & build their business via research. I recommend to anyone to start by Googling dropshipping, setting up a business in their state, products that sell - then check out godaddy & vistaprint (who also give you great deals on cards, t-shirts, etc.), & any other site-building/hosting service. Just do some research first & ask questions; you likely won't need PMI or their high fees.
