proaction diet Unauthorised payment withdrawal

Hi, I am very pleased to say that I have just contacted BBC watchdog, trading standards and the regional media about Proaction diet and their scam. I will also be blogging actively on twitter unless they stop this and refund my money. I suggest everyone else should order a replacement credit card, which they paid from and this should stop the payment. There is no direct debit setup - your statement shows it as a POS - point of sale - therefore payment taken from the same card details that they used to hook us with the initial nominal delivery charge offer. I am calling my bank tomorrow and reporting the card as lost - that should show the ###. Good luck all!

So glad that you have contacted Watchdog etc.
I have also sent for replacement card to stop future payments..but I was wondering if a refund is given as should be..will it be given in the form of a cheque now that the old card is blocked ?..or will the CC company accept it ?

proaction diet taking money unauthorised out of my account

I bought a trial proaction diet pack which consisted of two bottles of tables both costing £3.50 each and I submitted my order on the 11/05/2017. I had to go away with work and the product did not arrive. I came back 2wks later to find the product (which is still unopened) on my door step plus on the 31/05/2017 two payments taken out of my account, one for £37.50 and the other for £75.00. I have tried to contact and negotiate with the company and explain I do not know when the product was delivered and equally I still have the right to send the items back for a full refund. They dispute both items. Then I have cancelled and recieved two different cancellation numbers and on the e-mails it states they are within their right to take more money for this! Please help...

Signed up for the free trial had to pay £4.95 postage and packaging. Looked at bank statement they have taken £75 and £37.50 from my account on the 6th Dec. Tried phoning to cancel they have 4 different telephone nos for this product. Emailed them and now they are blocking all correspondence to them as it comes straight back to my inbox. They say in 1 email that I will be charged £37.50 as they have shipped out 1 product early this morning but have managed to cancel they other one before shipping. Do they honestly think I will receive the product next day. It is advertised as 30 day trial and that is the amount of pills you get a months supply. To cancell you have to do it within 14 days.

From an unsolicited advert on my website I agreed to pay £4.95 for postage
only for a FREE trial of ProActionDiet Pills. Unfortunately I ticked the Terms and Conditions which state that I AGREE to join this Diet Plan.. Clearly did not read the small print and have been left with a cost of £75.00. Having called and requested a refund they absolutely refuse but will refund the following month's subscription which has been debited to my account before I have even received the product. BEWARE OF THE SMALL PRINT AS THIS IS CLEARLY A GOOD WAY TO TAKE MONEY FROM UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS.

In May 2017 I purchased a 'trial' pack of three tubs at £4.98 and then decided that I wouldn't use the product but thought that as it was a 'trial pack' that 'that was that'. A month later more tubs arrived and when I rang up they agreed to make a refund if I sent the second pack back. At no time did they say that the trial payment was really a deposit and that I would be charged the full amount for that too!
The 'trial' is for 30 days and yet after 14 days if you haven't cancelled the full charge kicks in... so why call it a trial? All that besides I've now been on the phone again and have been advised to return the unopened 'trial' pack but they could not guarantee a full refund of the £122.40 that they've taken without my authorisation. I am sending a letter to the managing director with the returned unopened tubs and if this has no result I'll contact the Trade Descriptions Dept. A 30 day trial a) cannot tie one in after 14 days and b) a trial at a fixed amount is a trial price.
I'm writing to PO BOX 4802 Sheffield S10 9FE.

I ordered what I thought was a trial packet of pills for a nominal amount and then was charged £75 and then £79 for a subsequent package of pills. I cannot get the telephone 'service' to answer and I have not received confirmation of my cancellation. DO NOT AGREE TO PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT - TAKEN £75.00 OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY AUTHORITY
MY SUGGESTION TO ANYONE WHO HAS PURCHASED THE TRIAL PACK - CANCEL YOU BANK DETAILS
IMMEDIATELY OR YOU COULD LOSE A LOT OF MONEY - RETURN THE GOODS DEMAND YOUR DETAILS ARE TAKEN OFF THERE RECORDS - READ THE SMALL PRINT!
