STAY AWAY FROM PRO LEAD SERVICES. THEY ARE AN EVIL AND UNETHICAL COMPANY THAT SELLS FAKE INSURANCE / AUTO / ATC / ANNUTITY LEADS AND DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS AS PROMISED.

I recently had the very unpleasant experience of dealing with Pro Lead Services (Sunrise, FL), a company that sells insurance leads and back them up with a 100% money back guarantee. I ordered two mailing lists for two of my clients. Virtually 90% of the phone numbers were disconnected and when I went to get my guaranteed refund, they didn't return calls/emails/letters, and now hang up the phone when I call and identify myself.

The insurance leads are supposedly televerifed by a call center making 30, 000 dials a day, asking wealthy individuals to complete a survey indicating whether or not they have health/life/annuities and if they would be interested in receiving a quote.

I own a marketing company, and one of my clients with Northwestern Mutual and John Hancock Insurance wanted me to get the list for them (they had found Pro Lead Services online). I called Pro Lead Services to set it up, and was treated very harsh and short on the phone by a woman named 'Joanne Vincent'. When I asked to speak to a manager, she hung up on me! I called back several times asking to speak with a manager, and I was brushed off or the phone was not answered. Eventually I was 'transferred' to a woman named 'Janet Conners', who sounded EXACTLY like the first woman I spoke with, 'Joanne Vincent'.

I would have never done business with them after that, but I had 2 clients that wanted to try their leads. So I cautiously proceeded, this time I called to place my order. Instead of taking my credit card or mailing a check (both of which I offered to do) she asked me to write a check and fax her a copy of it. I should have known something was off by then, but I reluctantly continued.

So I ordered the data, and they told me it would take 5-7 days for them to put my list together (which I now understand they were waiting for the check to clear). Once we got the leads, my clients found out they were fake the first day. Literally 90% of the phone numbers were disconnected, certainly not televerified by their call center in the last 90 days as Pro Lead Services had promised.

So I called 'Janet', but the phone was answered by someone that said her name was 'Joanne Best', another woman named Joanne that sounded EXACTLY like Janet Conners and Joanne Vincent. She told me in order to get the refund I had to have my clients take notes on all the bad phone numbers and then mail them to Pro Lead Services. So I mailed the list of all the bad numbers to Pro Lead Services with delivery confirmation, and the mail came back undeliverable.

Over the next two months, I sent countless emails to 'Janet Conners', Joanne Best', and 'Joanne Vincent'. None my emails were returned. I placed a dozen calls, all of which went to the voicemail box of the shrieking voice of Janet Conners. I sent a letter too, but to no avail.

I did send them an email today indicating that I have a new prospect that would like to order a lot of leads. No more than 10 minutes later, the same woman (Janet/Joanne) called me and identified herself as 'Alice', Janets assistant. I knew it was her, but I played along. I asked her to put 'Janet' on the phone, and she said she was out, but kept asking me for the order details. She kept asking for the customer information, trying to get it out of me like a snake. I asked 'Alice' to have 'Janet' call me back (it was always the same person). When she called, I told Janet that I had a new order but would not send it in without reimbursement on my last 2 orders. She replied 'Aha! So you're trying to trick me into giving you a refund?!' and she hung up on me. I called back, and she said that was a matter for customer service. When I asked for the phone number for customer service, she hung up on me.

Finally, I called back right after being hung up on for the 3rd time. This time, Janet answered the phone as 'Susan', and pretended not to know what I was talking about. When I said 'Janet, it's over - I know it's you', she hung up on me again. They didn't acknowledge the bad leads, didn't return my money, don't answer/return my calls, and don't respond to letters or email.

All in all, Pro Lead Services sells FAKE INSURANCE LEADS, and they DO NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY AS PROMISED.
STAY AWAY FROM PRO LEAD SERVICES. THEY ARE AN EVIL AND UNETHICAL COMPANY.

My experience has been very similar. I speak with Karen, Lisa, and Sandy and they all sound like the same person. Here it is July and I placed my order in March. Not one lead did I receive from PLS.

I can't get Pro Lead Services..aka PLS #[protected] also Caller ID shows 'P Bienaime' as well as 'PLS'. They have called me 6 times this week, already twice today.
THE most annoying telemarketing ever as they are relentless. I am tired of finding the phone only to see again it is not a client of mine. Impossible to get a live person as its answering machines or send email. I have tried it all to get these suckers to stop calling me.
