In October, I went to to check on one of the phone numbers that has been given to me by someone I met on the internet and eventually used Intellius to request for additional research I could not otherwise obtain from the first website. As the service required payment, I bought the service using my credit card.

I then received my bill which at that time had other charges. Unfortunately because of my busy schedule I did not pay attention to all the charges since the total was not a big amount and within the range of my expected expenses so I paid the total amount. When I reviewed my January billing statements, I was surprised to find charges on my card since I did not use the card during December another charge from PMIdentity and only then did I realize it that I have been charged monthly for services I never used or requested. I went to the website and got a phone number that did not provide a way to get hold of a person. Instead I got a message that to cancel to membership, I have to enter my credit card number. Not wanting to enter my number that might be misused as authorization, I asked the credit card customer service to complete my cancellation just so the card company will know not to expect any more charges.

However, I still have charges until February that I am waiting to recover if they acknowledge my email. Note that the website does not provide provide any information about the company other than a phone number and email address.
This company and its website should be shutdown to prevent them from continuing their unscrupulous practice.
