Primerica agent seduces husband in our kitchen

Primerica agent came into our kitchen and flirted so shamelessly with my husband that I was shocked. After fighting with him and getting past this rude behavior he came clean., he made it clear to me that the agent had approached him with an affair in mind.

Coming to our house was just part of her game. He told me she said it was something to do with getting a rush by flirting with him right in front of me.

Needless to say we are not buying ANYTHING they have to sell, and I will watch him like a hawk to make sure she doesn't call him any more.

I thought Primerica was a company with some moral fibre. No question tho that This agent has none.

watch out for Primerica agent Miss D Brandt

# 605-1492 California Insurance license.

She is not at your house to sell you anything but misery.

My dad is a RVP with Primerica and he had an affair with one of his clients which ended both marriages. Actually, even his agents were also cheating. I do blame the company. My mom did complain and the company did nothing. After all, she was a client. And when my parents divorced, he was hiding money from her and her lawyers when to the headoffice to find out his total monthly income, they did not help. When he got ownership, the headoffice was to notify her but they didn't.

When your agents go into peoples' homes, there should be rules of what the agents can not do, LIKE CHEATING!

Primerica reps are required to go through the same licensing requirements that State Farm, Allstate, Geico, etc. reps are required to go through so if it's true that she guessed her way through the exam and works for Primerica then I guess a State Farm agent could have guessed their way through the exam and their goal is to sell as much as possible as well. *GASP* *NO* Yes I have to say that for a life insurance agent to make money they have to sell the product :)

It's not a scam. Yes, "anyone" can apply, however, most people do not have the right mind set for the business and that's why it's not for everyone.
Quick question: How is her primary language relevant? We do business in alot of spanish speaking countries and we have a lot of our products and services in spanish. Also, even if she did just "guess" half of her license test, that will come back on her. There is no "brainwashing". This is a business where YOU have to be self motivated and YOU are held accountable for what you do. If she truly doesn't know what she's talking about with respect to Life Insurance, she is going to get HERSELF into alot of legal trouble. She needs to be held accountable for her decisions and please stop blaming PFS and their Representatives for her careless actions.

Yes It is a scam business, anyone can become an agent, take my cousin for example, doesn't even speak english and she told me she guessed half of the test for her lisence and she is out there selling it to everyone she can, It's so sad how they brainwashed her, I don't even invite her over anymore because that all she talkes about.

dear lady,

it is very unfortunate what this agent has done. it is very very wrong to flirt with someones husband let alone doing it while using a legit company. but please do not blame primerica for this persons behaviour. when you go to your favourite restaurant and you have bad service that one time, or even two times, you don't automatically blame the restaurant and stop coming. primerica as a company has the clients best interest in mind. so please don't let a few rotten apples ruin the whole basket.

cheers

Primerica - money stealers!!!

these people have you sign up for their business. its 99$ to start and then they deduct 25$ every month. you have to basically go around and try to sell life insurance to friends and family... most of the time you wont be able to sell it because everyone usually has life insurance. so you kinda get screwed!!! and if you want to cancel it you have to write...

Primerica pure scam

Primerica took my $125 a month that I was paying for 250K and gave me 450k for $100 a month. Which saved me $25 a month. Then I put the $25 I was saving a month and put it into their mutual fund. If the mutual fund performs like it has the last 75 yrs., I will have 33k, after the 30 yr. term. It must be a scam, b/c citi backs them and we all know citi got to be that big by scamming people. I know that it sounds to good to be true, but its not. This is what is available to people, banks and insurance companies just don't reveal their secrets. They don't want you to be smart, because they lose money when you figure it out. Good Luck!

I think the posts I have read here are a lot out of line. It sounds to me like there are quiet a few people out there who are seeking riches the easy way and will always fail. What is really sad here is that these few are besmirching a decent company who does attempt to help the average american middle class family. Life insurance is a complex product not everyone needs permanent life insurance some do not need it at all especially late in life when the risk of premature death is not a risk at all.

Primerica their life insurance is more like a death sentence

Primerica did not convey proper business protocol when receiving my term life application and during the determination process thereafter.

1) They would not provide a copy of the application they took from me after the interview 2) They would not provide specifications or paper work related to how they determined rates for their customers after the interview 3) Their medical examiner took my blood pressure three times and asked me personal medical questions in between each blood pressure reading and it felt like a lie detector test. 4) They told me my insurance premium was going to be double what they originally quoted me after four and half weeks from the time of my initial application.

Their explanation was that my driving record and body weight in relation to my height were the reasons. A) It turned out that my driving record has had no points added to it since 2003 B) It turned out that the body weight I needed to come in at was 206 and my weight was 208.5 on the digital scale the examiner brought with them, with my clothes, shoes and cell phone on and about a gallon of water in me because the medical examiner told me to drink as much water as I could prior to her showing up.

It turns out that the examiner logged in a different weight than what I had seen on the scale but that my agent could not tell me what the examiner logged in due to privacy laws? (My privacy was private even to myself)

So obviously I was sensing that something just seemed a little too convenient or maybe "constructed" or that I may have been part of some "auto-piloted" process, where people get quoted a low number to draw you in and then because there is no way of proving anything they say after the fact they double your premium.

I was emailed from my agents personal email, not a Primerica email, which I thought was odd and I am still waiting for any conclusive information or evidence that would justify they're reasoning for doubling my premium.

I have faxed them my driving record which I happened to have on me and offered to allow them to take my weight again at any time (this time with the knowledge that my weight was off by 2.5 pounds, fully clothed, with a cell phone and about at least a half gallon of water in me, but Have not heard back from them.

The last I heard from them was about four days ago and at that point my agent said she was still waiting to hear from "Underwriting" about a possible re-evaluation of my application and that she would call me "tomorrow", that was three days ago.

I sent them an email yesterday explaining that if I did not receive an explanation in writing regarding all my inquiries by the end of the month that I would turn the matter over to my attorney and that I would exercise any and all of my civil rights to get to the bottom of this possible hoax.

My advice to anyone who might be considering any kind of life insurance from any insurance company.

1) If they will not provide you with a copy of the application, run...

2) If they will not provide you with specific guidelines on how they determine your premium, run...

3) If they make any claims what so ever about how great, big and successful they are, ask for proof...

4) Last but not least stick to a known life insurance company (in my opinion), because if something is too good to be true it probably is.

Good Luck!

I have been a Primerica client for over 5 years, and my father has been a client since 1979, when they were known as A.L. Williams. I have always felt that they have had a significant positive impact on my family. Recently, I was told that I should be wary of this company, that they are a “scam” and a “pyramid” scheme, and that I should do some research on this company on the internet. I decided to do so, and this is what I found.

There are some very favorable articles that have been published on this company lately.
They have been featured on/in
-The Wall Street Journal.
-The London Times
-USA Today
-Fox Business News
-Jim Cramer’s Mad Money
-Wikipedia
-Google Finance, among others.

Here are some interesting facts I found on the company:

-Been in business since 1977
-Regulated by the SEC, FINRA, and the Dept. of Insurance in every state they are in.
-Maintains a positive rating with the Better Business Bureau
-Rated A+ by AM’s best, an independent insurance rating company (similar to Consumer Reports)
-Owned for 20 years by Citi, the largest corporation in the world.
-Recently went public, April 1, 2010. Traded on the New York Stock Exchange
-Warburg Pincus, a private investing firm, invested $240 Million into the IPO (Initial Public Offering)
-Before Warburg Pincus invested, they spent over $9 Million investigating the company
-The stock is up over 50% in the last 10 months, and has been called the “IPO of the year” by Jim Cramer and others.

As a matter of fact, this is the only negative information I could find on this company:

-Blogs, such as the one here, posted by anonymous people, who do not have to post their credentials, their real name, or anything to show that they are telling the truth, or even know what they are talking about.

I’m sure there are some people in Primerica who are not on the up and up. They are a large company. However, with all the government agencies, consumer advocacy groups, media, and investors looking so closely at this company for the last 34 years, I’m sure that if they were a scam, pyramid, or into any kind of shady practices, someone would have found out and shut them down by now.

I’m glad that I had an agent over 5 years ago. The simple financial advise they give
is going to make a difference of hundreds of thousands of dollars to my family over the next 30 years. When doing research, don’t look to the “gossip”, look to the facts.

PS: You may see this post on multiple sites, I don’t like to see any of the few good companies out there get bashed undeservingly.

Rocky Drake: Primerica does truly aim to serve the best interest of the consumer. When ever you have a company that has independent workers there will be bad experiences and good. The home office can take care of any negativity and they feel obliged to do so. Unfortunately things happen that don't always reflect the best intentions of the company. Anger and complaints should be properly directed to the home office in Georgia. Instead some choose to embark on unnecessary smear campaigns because they did not follow the proper channels to get their personal issue resolved. I'm sure that Primerica would have resolved the issue had they been promptly and properly contacted. There is no need for me to defend a great line of products and as wisdom tells us: Always read the small print, ask questions, and refer concerns through proper channels. You will save others and yourself many headaches in the future. Keep your emotions out of it because they are very unreliable.

I have worked with Primerica before and they gave me great rates on life insurance. They weren't the absolute cheapest but they were offering renewable term which wasn't an option with the cheapest term companies and they gave me great service. For a few extra bucks a month I'd rather feel comfortable knowing that I've bought the right thing. They have also helped me invest in mutual funds that have done extremely well. Much better than the index fund I was invested in previously even with NO LOADS. They're "expensive" load has brought me more interest on my money than the "cheap" fund I was previously invested with. Hmmmm...something to think about.

My mother was with primerica for the last 20 years and as a child we received benefits with no issue. I know they never tried to give us the run around when paying out benefits and also her premium has fluctuated a total of 5 dollars over the last 20 years...

Herb, thou shalt not bear false witness. You will burn if you do not get saved! You don't explain the policies to your duped cleints. You aim to decieve. The policies are TERRIBLE, as evidenced by thousands of exposes and testimonials in books, tracts, leaflets, radio shows and websites.
NOW HERE'S THE PLAN:
Read the website title. Primerica apologists, DO NOT post lies on this website or any website or on anything, anywhere, at any time. Thou shalt not bear false witness: Exodus 20:16, Deuteronomy 5:20.

Since you con America - oops! I-I mean pyramid scam; oops! I-I mean good, honest hard working future regional vice presidents - Primerica recruits are at the bottom and do not want the public to know what a TERRIBLE boiler room pyramid scheme outfit Primerica is and that their packages are overpriced and con America charges 2% higher interest rates on their mortgages than their competition makes PRIMERICA a contributor to the mess we are in. Rather than cutting your losses, you are trying to kick a dead dog. Your children are asking you why you are not working for a real company and WHY you do not know that your rvp takes you for a stooge, buffoon, idiot, ###, blind deaf and dumb; an imbecile; laughs at you behind your back and your rvp is as crooked as a whole life insurance salesman AND why would believe someone when you can tell that they are lying. Cut your losses: get out. You fool no one with your lying posts. It is a CRIME and an ABOMINATION to defend a pyramid surreptitious evil shenanigan. You conceive from your wicked heart evil words of falsehood. When you lie you are partaker of the evil deeds of those at the top of the con America pyramid.

Don't chase good money after bad! Have you taken a long time to mull over that? Had I done so when I was younger, I would've saved a little bit of money that is for ever gone. Defenders of the pyramid multilevel marketing fraud are posting because they do not want their downline and future downline to know they ghastly trap they are being enticed in to. ALL who get in to pyramiding do not know what they are getting in to. ALL who sign with Primerica do NOT understand the IBA that they are signing, nor do they go over with their attorneys. Some do not even understand that it is a sales job with NO base salary. Questions? Arrange for me to speak. I will doom pyramiding surreptitious, fraudulent, fleecing, abominable multilevel marketing.

SOLVE THIS LIGHT PROBLEM: those who want to bear false witness by complimenting fraud, scam, skim, lottery rip off, flim-flam, fleecing, fakir, lying, deceitful, elixir merchandising pyramid nefarious scheme unscrupulous con America will pay 15000 for every lie that they post. Charge the tramps and bums admission - they won't come. THIS THREAD is for customer complaints, exposes and consumer essays to shed light on the con men; the shysters and the sharks to watch out for: such as spurious, flattering you with impossible to make money pyramid schemes. PROVIDED you can read, read the title of this website. You KNOW what this website is for! The proceeds would be used to aid the millions of victims and their families that you have sucked the life savings out of. Believe me, some victims have poured as much as 100K, 200K, 300K, 400K, 500K or even more in to something that is DOOMED TO FAIL. A pyramid Ponzi scheme WILL inevitably collapse of its own weight. Primerica is being dumped by Citigroup. What will back up the pyramid abomination of Primerica then?

"And I will also say that I’d love for Primerica to publish a book listing all the people who make poverty level earnings." And I won't hold my breath awaiting publication. This website wasn't designed to promote fraud! It was designed to expose and help eliminate fraud! YOU read and AGREED to the "Pissed Consumer Terms of Service"! Your excuse that you went to public school and cannot read will never fly. IGNORANCE IS NEVER AN EXCUSE TO BREAK THE LAW! READ THE OLD TESTAMENT; in particular the Penteteuch. You dig? Comprendes? Thank you very much!

“This is a deadly business model in which you are doomed to fail, ” says Robert Fitzpatrick, president of Pyramid Scheme Alert, an Internet-based watchdog group located in Charlotte, North Carolina. “There’s a ninety-nine percent loss rate” —meaning the vast majority of people who start MLM businesses end up losing money. "You’d have a better chance betting your life savings on a game of blackjack in Vegas than you would putting it all into a multi-level marketing home business." {Ooouch! That hurts!}

Primerica, nee A.L.Williams, rips the policyholders as well as the agents lower down from the top of the illegal pyramid. I find it amazining that Primerica defenders are paid to browse search engines and smear truth. Precisley like liberals, they smear and never shoot down the truth because THEY CANNOT. This scam defender has done the same thing: never addressed the issue. Just went raving along with generalizations about great Primerica is. Why? Read my post.

We had a Primarica agent give us life insurance quotes and tell us that they had the best rates and even challenged us to find better. Well, we did right away through an Accuquote agent (which is recommended by Consumer Reports).. We had several better quotes for the same coverage than Primerica. The agent couldn't believe it. We got the feeling that in the training the agents receive they are told that Primerica offers the best but few actually go out and check it out on their own.

Primerica they never paid me the commission that I deserved

I started training at Primerica in 2006. My trainer said that if anyone I set up an appointment with took out a mortgage loan, I would receive a small commission.

Well, I sat up three appointments and one of them went very well. It was my own Mom.

My Mom took out a new mortgage loan through Primerica and I think part of the reason was that she trusted me.

Too bad I trusted the wrong company. I quit because my husband got transferred to another state. I told them to mail my commission check.

So far - NO Check!

Funny thing that you can't exactly make a commission on a product that you aren't licensed to sell. It takes a bit of work to get to the point to where you can make commission off certain products in Primerica. I heavily doubt that 3 appointments got you to the top.

Did you have a real estate license? Insurance sales license? This may be why you never got the commission.

Primerica bad business ethics

I had agent Jeanie Johnson a primeamerica agent come to my house last night 21 apr 2008

after she gave me the information about the loan I told her I was interested. A this point the wife and I got into an argument about this loan, When Jeanie tried to get into the argument I told her the only thing she was interested in was her commission. She left after that. About an hour after she left I get a phone call from her husband who called ma an *** because I would refinance my house. So my complaint is this agent shared confidential information (my phone number and name) with her husband now I'm wondering what else she shared with her husband. my finanial records? My SSN? What is her husband going to be doing with this information?

Term life insurance really is a credible tool to protect loved ones. Holding a Primerica life insurance policy is a contract that the company is obliged to honor, otherwise they would very quickly be barred from doing business in states where they failed to honor their policies.

It is true that some Primerica agents lack professionalism, however, that is true of many professionals across a myriad of industrys. Unfortunately, some are also pushy and excessively zealous, but that does not make the case for NOT having adequate life insurance.

A real professional would never have divulge CONFIDENTIAL client information...period, end of story! In fact the agent should have been reported to Primerica's Office of Compliance, and to the state's Insurance Commissioner. What she did was repulsive and wholly unprofessional. However, this should be more a reflection on the agent and less a reflection on Primerica. Although, it is completely understandable how ALL Primerica agents can be tainted and painted with the same broad brush.

Thanks,
From a Proud Primerican

Will wonders ever cease? This is first thread I have run in to wherewith a designated blogger for the Primerica pyramid fraud has not posted first. Primerica bloggers attempt to defend the undefendable. Primerica's rates are higher, which is what I ran in to with A.L.Williams. When Primerica bought A.L. Wiliams, they bought his debts. To date, neither Citigroup nor Primerica has given me the commissions, renewals, reimbursements, time, wages, puntive damges and compensatory damages that they owe me.

Primerica being higher than the other insurance companies - although you cannot really call a pyramid boiler room scheme an insurance-mutual fund- mortage corporation - multiples by hundereds, even thousands of times from the standpoint that Primerica is not paying off on the policies at times. Defenders of the Primerica abomiantion: don't do another defense until you pay me what A.> Williams owes to me! Put your money where you mouth is! If Primerica is so wonderful, why doesn't A.L. Williams -Milico- Citigroup - Primerica pay their debts, dad jim it?

Don't refer to [redacted]. A company that promises to expose, then puts a phoney defense and refuses to publish more exposes of Primerica, Milico or Citigroups speaks for itself. You can sue me all you want. You won't stop me. I'll counter sue and win.

Primerica my first meeting

I was asked to a Primerica meeting, and of course I wasn't told was it was about. Initially I was informed me it was to be held at my house, then he shows up in a junk heap and I guess expected me to get in. I declined but said I would follow him. I guess curiosity got the best of me.

I was surprised to see people I knew there... anyway I was blabbing away at the back and was told the presentation was about to begin and was encouraged to sit up at the front! (I was more interested in being close to an exit sign at the back)

Anyway, the people were nice, funny, friendly and I have nothing negative to say about them, other than I left with still not knowing how Primerica works and had more questions after the meeting than before. I still don't know if they are a company interested in helping me with my finances or want me to pay for training how to sell insurance... I left very confused!
