prima television / tv breakdown right after warranty expires

1 Canada Review updated:

Shortly after the one year warranty expired for my Prima television, the picture tube busted. Now I have to come up with over $600 to get it repaired. Even my tv repairman said that these tvs are defective. I am blaming both the retailer (MDG Canada) for selling and over-charging such a terrible product and as well as Prima for making such a lemon. Word of advice: do not buy anything from MDG Canada or Prima!

You are absolutely right PRIMA tv's suck, dont ever buy a cheap no brand TV ever again. Tv's are meant to last, it is not everyday or every year we go out to buy a new one, heck these folks at PRIMA dont even have a support # to call, or a website, and even if you do get in touch with them, its a nightmare to get any thing done about your problem, so time to ditch it and move on!
