Priceline.com car rental

I rented a car with Payless Car Rental which was booked through Priceline.

When I arrived at the airport no car was available until the next day. No help or compensation was offered. I was there with my family and was told we just had to sleep on the floor of the airport until the next day.

I have discovered Payless Car rental has a terrible reputation. I am very disappointed that Priceline should do business with such a terrible company. It seems Priceline will do business with anyone regardless of the standard of the company.

Priceline.com lack of customer service training and no refund provided due to medical emergency

I have called Price line numerous times in regards to my husband missing a flight due to me going to the hospital for emergency surgery. Due to the ticket and no insurance purchased we were told in no situation would we receive a credit for future flights or refund. However by other representatives (even the morning of the flight) we were told that we could call back with documentation regardless of not having insurance and receive a refund.

I am disgusted with the customer service and lack of integrity of this organization.

I'm sorry to hear about your hospital stay, however this is a risk you take when you choose not to buy insurance. It is offered for emergencies like this and since you chose not to purchase it, you are responsible for the loss of funds.

Priceline.com hotel reservation

I reserved a hotel room on the Priceline website. Priceline advertised that the room reservation was cancellable, but when I needed to cancel I was told by Priceline that, in fact, the reservation was not cancellable.

I was lied to by Priceline and as a result I will never use Priceline again. Also, I will spread the word to everybody I know and come in contact with that Priceline is not a reputable company.

Priceline.com bed bugs and my bites in my las vegas, nv hotel arizona charlie's

BED BUGS ate me up first night stay at Arizona Charlie's in Las Vegas for a wedding ceremony weekend with relatives. Room [protected]. Bugs came from this room as I drove directly from my home in Prescott, AZ to the hotel.

I took many photos of my bites including a bed bug on the bed pillow. I actually captured the bug alive and gave it to hotel Security in a zip lock bag at room inspection in the morning. An outside company brought in by Arizona Charlie's claims no bugs in the room. Manager had no knowledge of caught live bug in zip lock bag I turned over to Security at my checkout.

Having bed bugs in the first place is bad news. Secondly is Arizona Charlie's management denying there were bugs even with hotel Security having taken photos of my bites in the morning (more surfaced in the next two days) along with the live bug I caught and turned over in a zip lock bag.
Photos of my bites and bug on pillow on request.

Filing this complaint and seeking compensation.

Yours Truly,
Harold W. Oppice

Priceline.com hotel reservations

Hello I am writing this email email to complain about all the customer service employee I have talked to. I had booked a reservation for November 24-25th on bid your price. I made a mistake with the date and I actually needed it for Oct 28-29. I called customer service and she sounded really nice and took all my information and notes down. I thought it was gonna work out and it was going to be fixed but who knew I had to talk to about 10 people to have something solved. I know I made the mistake about the date but I have been a loyal Priceline customer and I thought they could help me out. Nope not at all. They kept telling me they would call me back after they talk to the manager at the hotel but I didn't hear anything from them. They kept saying can't get a hold of the manager and blah blah. So the Third day I called the hotel and I got a hold of the manager and she even agreed to change the date I would just have to pay 20.00 extra. I'm fine with that but she said Priceline have to call her. So then the customer rep got back to me and said "oh mam sorry there's nothing we can do about it the hotel is prepaid and stuff. She didn't even talk to the manager because the manger was a girl and the customer Rep said the guy said this. Unbelievable service. Full of crap, they kept trying to reassure me saying oh well immediately call and solve this, [censor] all the way. The only time they actually called the hotel was when I called Priceline. Never will be Priceline customer ever again and I will make sure my friends know how [censor] the customer service is when you make a stupid tiny mistake! Thank you Priceline

Priceline.com hotel bookings

After booking and entering payment information, a confirmation is received indicating the hotel is fully booked and confirmed and that the room will be held with the credit card. However, there is no mention that a scanned copy of the credit card and photo ID needs to be sent to the website in order to confirm the booking. This email also gets recognized as a junk email by most email servers! Princeline also refuses to reimburse or offer a discount for the inconvenience caused and also forces the client to re-book a new room if the original room is now unavailable!

Priceline.com hotel price

On your express deals you charge me the exact same price for the hotel that I found on other websites and lost me the chance of getting my Choice Privilege rewards thinking I was getting a discount for my room. When I called and asked them to either redo it charge me a little more money to give me something better they said they could do nothing for me I'm very angry.. as of now I will never use your company again because you were dishonorable. You've now made it not enjoyable to go to the hotel on my anniversary this weekend.

Priceline.com poor service on rental car at location

I reserved a rental car for September 28th through Oct 2nd at the Budget Rent a car. Location: 9003 University Blvd, Coraopolis, PA 15108. My car was for a full -size car. Car type Chevy Impala Limited or similar. Priceline trip number [protected]. Time of pick up was to be 9 am. When I got there at 9 am they did not have a car for me. The owner of location called down to the airport. I waited until 10 am when they brought be Nissan Rogue. The suv was filthy and the passenger seat was torn. They called again for another vehicle and waited until 11:30 am for another car to be brought down. from the airport. I needed to be on the road as soon as possible. I had an 11 hour drive to start on to get to Des Moines, Iowa by Friday morning at 9 am for an appointment. The owner was put out that I did not want the car and did not want to make waves with the airport Budget staff. Finally by luck another rental came in by some one and was clean. This was at 12 pm. Then the air port budget rental people came and tried to get me to use a Ford Fusion. That is not a Full size rental. Over all the experience was awful. I will never rent from them or use priceline again to look for rental vehicles. The Budget rental place was uncaring and in no hurry to help.

Priceline.com no refund on car rental change

Priceline Trip # [protected] paid for 8/11/17. Rental with Alamo was in Sioux Falls SD 9/21-9/30/17. Was charged $99 + $436.63. Returned vehicle at noon on 9/24/17 due to change of trip plans. Both Alamo and Priceline have refused refund for unused time. Resolution is to refund unused days. I can understand a small surcharge but not $322 penalty. This is just wrong.

Priceline.com no refund on airfare booking which I never got confirmation for but got charged

In the middle of September, I booked a flight through Priceline for travel to Europe. I never received confirmation for my flight -- waited a few days -- checked my spam folder even. Nothing. Called the airline directly and confirmed that I was NOT booked on any flights and worried about fares increasing, booked a flight directly with the airline at a higher price and slightly less better itinerary than what I got through Priceline. I just opened my credit card bill and there is a charge for the ticket for which I never received any confirmation. I called Priceline and they said that they can't refund me until they get a refund from the airline. 1) I NEVER received confirmation of any kind via email or anything from Priceline -- checked all my email folders again while I was on the phone with the customer service agent and 2) the airline also confirmed before I booked the 2nd time that I was NOT booked with them. Since this was days after I first booked with Priceline, this means there was a delay on THEIR side with the airline. Now, I have two tickets going out on the same flight and Priceline is saying they cannot refund me unless they get refunded by the airline. Their delays and mistakes are not my fault and so I should be refunded and they should figure out their own issues with the airline. If you resell someone else's product and you make a mistake, you don't put the customer on the hook for the price of the product. That is ridiculous. Never book with Priceline!

Priceline.com not honoring website price/information.

Booked a room through priceline.com for October/2017 for a one night stay at Comfort Inn and Suites in Cocoa Beach Florida. Priceline advertised this room as "Park and Cruise." Room details state that parking and transfers to/from the cruise port are included in this room. Room was more expensive than other rooms Priceline was offering. Because I always follow up and check on things before traveling, I called Priceline AND Comfort Inn and was told by both that I get the room only and not "Park and Cruise." I sent them screen shots of their own website showing what I should be getting. I kept being told by Priceline that it is a Comfort Inn Issue, and Comfort Inn says it is a Priceline Issue. After 5-6 calls and numerous chats getting nowhere, I gave up and cancelled the room. I feel sorry for those that don't double check and show up at the hotel thinking that things are all set. Priceline's customer service was friendly, but they did not honor their website or get anything done.

Priceline.com non refundable or ability to change reservations

I booked a flight from Burlington airport to Austin, TX, with a change flight in Atlanta Ga, I booked the flight in July and found out 9/20 that the wedding was no longer taking place. I just placed an instant chat with Cesar a rep from Priceline and he told me that the tickets are non-refundable, non changeable due to restrictions. These were tickets for in excess of $550 dollars and there was a rental car in the package as well. Now I don;t know of anyone in this day and age that can afford to just throw away over $550 dollars worth of tickets! They wanted to know the reason and I told Cesar that the wedding was cancelled, then they lay it on your that it is due to RESTRICTIONS! I will never do business with PRICELINE again! SO think twice if you are inclined to even entertain this idea! Would be nice to be refunded my hard earned money!

Priceline.com refused refund my money back

I booked hotel in Boston through Priceline online last August/2016. One of the most important selection was indoor pool hotel which I selected before I booked. Priceline should show all amenities even though express deal. It was unknown amenities. It showed three star hotel express deal before selection. However it was not at all. It is not a gamble. Priceline took advantage from those cases and earn millions of dollars from consumers like me. Consumer has no protection what so ever. Priceline has a pages policies and lawyers. Priceline well secure by our money is not right. Consumer not get enough explanation before transaction complete. After payment transaction shows amenities. It was bingo for Priceline and disaster for consumer. Consumer lost money and in order to get money back has to hire lawyer and spend more money!
I think it is a discrimination. Let's say it was mistake I called them right away they should compromise the other way. That would be professional respond.
I paid it $ 735.28 and a minute later they showed totally different hotel as a booked. Immediately I called Priceline to refund my money back and I told them it is a discrimination and they are not honest at all.
They declined to refund money back. In the same minute I called my Citibank service and I asked to blocked to my credit card and not to let Priceline get money. However they were faster than us. As a my consumer point of view is Priceline find good opportunity corner as secure themselves with their policies. consumer and not enough explanation before transaction complete. that is the most profitable
I asked Citibank to dispute money.it took more than a six months to finalize. Priceline refused to payback my money. I am devastated. I never stayed at this hotel and I paid full.
I am asking only my rights to be full filled.

Priceline.com refusal to help in a medical emergency

My daughter has asthma and was caught in the Oregon fires and hospitalized.
Wife and I flew her to clean air but she was admitted to hospital where she currently resides (9 days so far). Priceline refused to allow a flight change ans stated they were UNABLE to do so. A simple data entry and they wouldn't help. They did offer my the "opportunity" to PURCHASE another ticket!
A Certifiable medical emergency and they refused! I'll NEVER use them again.
Fortunately, I contacted the airline directly and they allowed the change with an open ticket until she's released and able to travel. THANK YOU United Airlines!

Priceline.com attitudes of the supervisor dealing with incremental weather condition induced flight cancellations

I had to call almost twenty times to find out about my eligibility for the cancellation of the vacation package I had paid for that was bound for Jamaica as the layover city is most likely to be hit by the hurricane. Not only I had to call back multiple times to speak with various agents who told me different answers about the flight cancellation policies, but the worst part was the attitude of the supervisor I spoke with after I have requested to elevate the call if necessary. She was extremely disrespectful, was not even sincerely apologetic and she kept on going on and on with the manual-like comment when I was asking a question. When I actually asked a question after having to stop her to listen several times, she would just pause without answering my questions. As a regular customer with Priceline, I am shocked and highly dissatisfied with the attitude of a so-called supervisor and how unprofessionally she dealt with the customer. Priceline should train their staff better and also develop a room for customer care taking up some responsibility as an intermediary agent especially under unforeseen exception situations instead of telling their customers to check on the airline websites. If I had to go through that extra hassle, I'd rather book it directly from their website than having to book it through Priceline!

Priceline.com hotel reservations

We booked a room through Priceline and got there and the hotel was full. Priceline over booked the hotel. The hotel only had 65 rooms and priceline booked 108 rooms. We drove around searching for a hotel for 3 hours. There were no rooms with in 150 miles from there. We ended up sleeping in our car and they compensated us $10. The hotel called priceline several time and the times they did answer they did nothing about it, they never apologized and STILL kept booking rooms!

Priceline.com car rental cancellation fee

I have never been charged a cancellation fee for a car rental. I just cancelled a reservation with Priceline more than a week before the reservation and was told the reservation couldn't be cancelled but as a courtesy they would only charge me $36 for the cancellation. I am shocked - nowhere on the listing did it say that it couldn't be cancelled. I will never use Priceline again.

Priceline.com booked air flight thru priceline

I booked reservation for my wife and I to travel to San Diego on Sept 7, 2016
from Orlando to San Diego. We were to travel on October 9th. A major Hurricane hit our area, Daytona Beach, we live on the Ocean and had to evacuate. We left our home on or about October 5th and moved West of Orlando, we didn't get back until the 10th or 11 of October the bridges were closed. I called Priceline and reached them on the 7th or 8th of October and cancelled the reservation. Orlando airport was closed as well.
I later learned the amount I paid $ 618.00 which I put on my credit card would not be refunded and now they tell me the credit is not $ 618.00 but $ 138.00 each for my wife and I. This was a natural disaster that caused major damage to my home since I leave on the Ocean. I called, they cancelled and now they won't give me full credit. Please help me on this otherwise I will never use Priceline again. Carl Como Tutera [protected]
