Priceline.com hotel

I challenge any executive from priceline to stay at the extended stay in perimeter, ga
This is not a 2.5 star hotel! It idefinitely needs a remodel. Customers are definitely looking for a good deal but not at the expense of safety!
Be prepared to bring and extra pillow, blanket, house shoes because I couldn't tell you the last time it was mopped (I brought cleaning supplies and cleaned the bathroom before w used it).
Also bring your own toiletries including hand soap because additional upgrade is $10!
The room is reserved for a queen if you need a double it's $25 more at the hotel.
Priceline failed big time, last time we use them. The sad thing is we were in town celebrating our "25th" anniversary.

Oh and bring your own hangers and the breakfast is a take and go😳 possibly the worst hotel we've stayed in🤦🏼‍♀️

Priceline.com car rental refused. left stranded

I used Priceline to book a rental car for birthday road-trip for my daughter and friends. I used the prepaid, non-refundable option as it was the cheapest and my dates and times were firm. I paid for the car upon purchase and called the rental company (Avis) the day prior to confirm my arrangements. Everything was set to go, I was told. I arranged a ride to drop me off at the airport (a 30 min one way trip) to pick up the car. I was told at Avis that I must show a credit card---even though I had purchased the car in advance, bought the insurance, and confirmed the information ahead of time. I do not have a credit card so this was important information! Avis refused to release the car. I called Priceline to see if they could help arrange another vendor or assist in getting the car with Avis. I was told the most they could do was cancel the reservation---but not without a cancellation fee! I did not want to cancel the reservation--I needed a car for the trip that was supposed to be leaving! I argued with Avis and Priceline with both vendors pointing to the other. In the end, I was left very upset, stranded at the airport, and without the necessary car for my daughter's birthday trip! I will not do business with Priceline or Avis again. I was treated rudely by the Avis employee and Priceline did nothing to help resolve the situation. I was basically charged a fee to be stranded and without the means I needed. I ended up having to call for a ride and booked on my own through another vendor. It cost me twice as much since it was a last minute booking. I felt swindled and mistreated. I have booked rental cars with only a debit card many times in the past and felt like this should have been made clear that this would not be sufficient with this company and Priceline should have helped make alternative arrangements if their company failed to honor the contracted business. At the very least, Priceline should not have issued a cancellation fee for something outside my control. It was a nightmare for me to navigate, caused a lot of emotional distress and inconvenience for me and others who had to make multiple long distance trips to pick me up from the airport after being left without transportation by Avis and Priceline.

On the Priceline website it states: "If the driver provides a bank debit card for the security deposit, it cannot be used as credit. The use of a debit card may also require a credit check at the counter." This would have been enough for any intelligent person to know to bring a credit card just to be safe; especially if the pick up point was so far away.

Priceline.com car rental with budget

I arrived MSP today 05/23/18, shortly before 2pm. Waited in line for more than an hour, others dropped out of line a rented other vehicles. WAY UNDER STAFFED, I will never rent another car from either Budget or Avis. Received a way larger car than reserved but, was told if I wanted something different, I would have to wait longer. Couldn't do it, I have had replacement ankle surgery, can't stand that long. To add insult to injury, a fellow line waiter received a $50.00 credit for his inconvenience. I learned this as we both walked out to get the vehicles we'd been assigned.
I REPEAT, never again. Absolutely disappointing. I will share my experience with others...

Priceline.com rental car fraud

I used Priceline to make a hotel reservation a month in advance. immediately then I received an email confirmation from priceline with ads to rent a car which I did. The hotel reservation I made was with a cancellation option but I didn't realize that the car rental had 2 options and I mistakenly purchased the one without cancellation option and non refundable one. I called the next day to cancel it but of course they keep repeating this reservation is not refundable and the manager I was talking to told me they get to keep my money no even budget rental car. I felt like priceline was stealing from me and I explained how I felt to the manager but she keeps repeating that this purchase is not refundable.
I would like to ask the community and government agencies to regulate this online practices because with a click of a bottom a company can take money away from consumers without getting what they are paying for back. This can not continue to happen in the US. It is not fair and it is not ethical. Please help me to pass this message to everyone you know so that we can prevent more people falling into this trap.
Do you know that priceline is owned by booking holdings which also owns kayak, booking.com, agoda, retalcars.com and opentable. This looks like a monopoly and its up to us the consumers to not keep buying from a company without values that doesn't care for its customers.
I used all of the companies mentioned above mobile apps. But now I am going to buy directly from the source or find another company with better business sense.

Priceline.com unethical representative behavior (mark)

Due to my emergency room visit the early hours of 18 April 2018, I was late arriving to the Austin airport for my flight to Porto Vallarta. The Plane had been boarded. There was no other flight that day.
I live 70 miles away and in great pain, I booked a room in Austin to fly out the next day.
I called to rebook my flight for the next day, 19 April 2018 and spoke with Irais, who gave me a cost of $692.97. I wasn't given a confirmation number.
I called back around 1800/6 p.m. to get the confirmation number.
I spoke with Mark, who said I didn't have a new reservation for 19 April 2018. I gave him the information I had about the flight at the same time the next day as that was the only one to Puerto Vallarta from and return to Austin, TX.
Mark started rebooking my flight again to Puerto Vallarta for 19 April 2018 for the same time as on the 18 April 2018. He was booking the flight and said oops, that's gone. He (Mark) said the cost would be $851.94. He never said/mentioned at any time, this new cost was after a deduction for the original flight; what the class was, Economy, Premium Economy or Business, or I-Business. Nor did he state that there was an exchange fee of $100.00 and a Service fee of $30.00.
I feel as if I have been price gouged and my situation taken advantage of; Relying on Marks Unethical Behavior

I booked a hotel roomfor the 14th and when i got to the hotel, i was told that i cannot check in til after 3pm. Priceline failed to tell me this before i made the purchase. So i had to wait at the hotel from the morning til mid-afternoonin the lobby like a bum until i was able to get a room! I notice that lately priceline is charging a $30 dollar fee for booking a room in the range of $60 dollars, making the room around $90 dollars. This is a scam! I asked the hotel if the fee's are $30 dollars had i booked directly through the hotel and the hotel said that the fee's are less thsn $10 dollars. Priceline is definitely scamming us!

Priceline.com flight ticket refund

I booked a china southern flight from priceline website. I had to cancel one leg (return trip) and receive the refund of it. I have called china southern and priceline atleast 10 times. Both keep sending back and forth and not taking responsibility. Priceline is the responsible one because I booked through them and say they can do nothing to refund now.

Priceline.com car rental enterprise

First, I booked a car for a 6:00 pickup at Kingwood, Tx Enterprise. When I left to go pick up I noticed online that they close at 6. When I called I was told if I wasn't there before 6:00 They would be closed even though I had a 6:00 reservation
2nd when I got there they said I needed a utility bill and paystub — which I had no idea as it says nothing about that on pricelines info.
then the only other cc I had was my husbands and they said he had to be there. So I called him to come up there.
They then came out and proceeded to tell me they would not wait the 10 minutes it was going to take him to get there because they needed to get home to their families.
I then asked her to put in writing that I did not get a car and she refused. I literally had to ask 10 times to get something in writing.
Why would you allow reservations at closing time?

Priceline.com airline tickets, travel protection, priceline customer service

Look elsewhere, prior to booking my hubby's flight to halifax for his brothers graduation I had called around looking for any companies that would provide the best return/refund options. (my hubby works in the oil field so booking dates can be nearly impossible) when I called the customer service line I spoke with a very "enthusiastic and helpful" price line agent. She listened to my reasoning for the call, and assured me that she understood my concerns and let me know that with the purchase of their "trip protector" i'd be able to add insurance to my trip, allowing me to cancel at any time.

So imagine my surprise when I called 2 weeks after to cancel this trip, (my hubby's job was on a spring break up so he was placed on a temporary lay off) that I was unable to. I'm looking at a my allianz insurance policy where it states I have cancellation coverage for $456.00 (price of my ticket before taxes) but every time I call regarding my request i'm told I cannot cancel.

I have spoken with the main "supervisor" who sounded like she was reading a script. She refused to understand my concerns and kept repeating that it was out of their hands, I was told on two separate occasions that I would receive e-mails explaining how I can submit a claim yet nothing was ever sent. When I spoke to allianz the company that provides the insurance I was told to contact price line. All in all an impossible task. I called again yesterday and asked to speak directly to the supervisor I had spoken with the day prior and was rudely told i'd already spoken with her, when I insisted I was left on a 55 minute hold ending with me hanging up prior to talking to anyone!

This company is not worth the headache, they do not care about customer service only about making a dollar.

Priceline.com hotel reservation under false pretenses

Hello.
I am very, very upset! I did a google search yesterday for a Hilton hotel in Tallahassee, FL. When i selected the 'call' button, somehow apparently it contacted me to priceline, rather than Hilton. I still dont know how that happened, but regardless, the fact is that I continued with the call and was NEVER informed that I was speaking with priceline rather than Hilton. I was 100% under the impression that I was speaking with a Hilton representative. Not once did the representative say that he did not work for Hilton, despite the fact that I ask him multiple questions about my Hilton Honors rewards and about making reservations with Hilton discounts! The only thing he did say when I questioned him about looking up my honors number was that they should have no problem whatsoever looking up my honors number at check in, and have my rewards credited that way! What a blattant lie!
Plus, though he gave me a confirmation number, he never actually emailed me my confirmation like he was supposed to! I've never seen such blattant lies and bait-and-switch in my life! I didn't discover that the reservation was made through priceline until I arrived at the hotel, and of course since this is a 3rd party, my honors rewards can't even be used!
I am beyobd irate! I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever use priceline in the future (which is a shame for you because i did used to use you and i travel A LOT). And i will make sure that NONE of my friends and family ever use you in the future as well! Have a nice life getting less business!

Priceline.com no confirmation rec'd, charged for trip. no return call back

I'd give them a zero if possible!

In March 2018 I was trying to book a vacation package from Toronto to Orlando. The site would allow me to pick my hotel and flights, and input my name and my sisters names as passengers and it allowed me to put my credit card information in. Unfortunately after hitting submit I would receive an error message indicating that they flights I had chosen we no longer available and I would have to pick new flights. I attempted to book this package over multiple days as the flights were continuing to show as available to only ever receiving the same message "flights not available". I contacted a customer service representative looking for some assistance in booking my package only to be advised that the Customer Service Reps only assist customers after they have booked and received a confirmation number for a service through the web-site. The agent couldn't help me book a trip. I asked about the error message I was receiving and he indicated that I just needed to keep trying or I had to choose other flight times. He confirmed that the flights while they appear on the web-site as an option may no longer be available. I hung up and tried again over different dates as per his suggestion to book my vacation, still with no success - still receiving the same message. I gave up trying to book through Priceline as any of the other flight times being shown didn't work with my schedule (and really who knows if they were actually going to be available). While I was unsuccessful in booking my vacation package there was still a hold put on my credit card for the money. I contacted the customer service team to find out why there was a hold put on my credit card given that I was unable to book through the web-site. The customer service agent confirmed that no trip had been booked under my name and my credit card would not be charged. However I have been charged $1298.15 for a trip that I was never able to successfully book. I never rec'd any other message other than the flights you were interested in are not available….I did not receive a confirmation of a trip booked.

I booked my vacation package through another company as I was not successfully in completing my booking through Priceline. The trip is for the same dates, hotel and people - why would I have booked a second trip for the same people and dates?

I contacted customer service team on April 23, 2018 and spoke to George who indicated that he was sorry I was no longer satisfied with my reservation. I told him that was not the issue, my issue was that there was no reservation as no confirmation was ever sent to me. I spoke to supervisor (Max) after being given a run around who stated he would escalate my issue as a travel service/web-site error issue and provided me with a case #*** . He stated that I would be contacted within 3 business days. Today is May 1st and I have not been contacted by anyone from Priceline regarding my issue.

I have no clue how they are still in business

Priceline.com online package booking problems

May 1, 2018. I just wasted 45 minutes of my life trying to book a flight/hotel package online. When I got to the payment page the web site rejected my payment stating "Your CVV Code must be 4 digits." I entered the 4-digit code multiple times and got rejected each time for the same reason. My card is perfectly fine - I just used it last week to book online with another web site with NO problems. When I called Priceline to get assistance I got a call center in the Philippines that was of NO help. I spoke with two different agents and all I got was the canned response they read from a cheat sheet. "We can't take payment over the phone ..." blah blah blah. So how am I supposed to book my trip? "I'm sorry that we cannot assist you ..." more blah blah blah. I asked what the agent would do in my position. What would YOU do if you are using the Priceline site and it is not recognizing your VALID card? It is YOUR computer glitch, not MY problem! More apologies, more blah blah blah, barely understandable (and I am good with accents) and absolutely NO resolution. I am pissed. Waste of time and I still do not have my reservations. Screw Priceline. Never again.

Priceline.com hotel reservation

I booked an express deal with Priceline.com when the hotel was reviewed knowing it's condition I called to be transferred to another hotel that is not an express deal. I was basically told that there was nothing they could do. The last person told me they are putting me on mute even after explaining my situation and reason of not wanting to stay there. Now I have to basically stay in a scratchy hotel or lose my money which they said they couldn't do anything about. I know of friends and family who have had express deals cancelled due emergencies but mine even after complaining was disregarded.

Ii bought 2 tickets from St. Louis to Phoenix for April 28, 2018 due to medical reasons my youngest son cannot fly. I was informed that I could not get a refund which is fine so I asked can I add a different passenger. I've paid my money for these tickets and I'm not sure why that would even be a issue. I was trying to add my nephew. Now if I'm having a hard time processing your policies because that makes no sense. Then I was told that I can pay 25.00 to get a refund, like really? So why not deduct the 25.00 from the 120.00 ticket I purchased? I'm wondering how many people have lost money dealing with your services. I'm sure plenty

Priceline.com regular priced hotel.

We ordered hotel for 4 nights from April 28. Trip number is [protected]. Hotel room costs more than 1000$ and we ordered it from a retale prise page (not even express deal). I got a discount 10% 2 days later which I want to use. So I decided to cancel hotel as we ordered not Express deal. Than I was going to order hotel again and use my 10%off coupon. However I found that we still can't cancel it. That is very unfair because I could order without Priceline and have a normal cancellation policy. I can totally understand your policy if I buy express deal or name your own price. Please help me to use my coupon discount or help me to cancel my retail price hotel so I can reorder it and get my 10% off. This is very disappointing and no sense in future to order from retail page. Hope you can make it. Thank you

Priceline.com express hotel

I booked an express deal hotel with Priceline. It was advertised as being a 3 star hotel similar to Courtyard of Hyatt. The website says that I should expect solid service, extra amenities, and well decorated common areas. Yet, when I book the hotel and go to the companies website the reviews tell a different story. Their are complaints about broken toilets, leaky roofs, poor housekeeping, even theft. I don't feel comfortable staying at the hotel and feel that I was deceived.

Priceline.com best price guarantee

I booked a hotel today on priceline.com at 1:12pm EST. My priceline itinerary for Baltimore, MD - Friday, May 25, 2018 (Itinerary# [protected]). I went on priceline.com this evening at 9:40 PM to show my fiance the hotel that I had booked and priceline was showing the same exact room for $139.02 per night instead of the $144.10 that I had paid. I contacted customer service via a live chat and then I called customer service. I was told by both separate representatives that they could not verify the price discrepancy. I offered screenshots as proof. I don't understand how the discrepancy is possible. I searched from two different devices and my search yielded the lower price, yet your representatives could not find the lower price that I was seeing. I am very upset and disappointed and I don't see myself using priceline again.
