I recently bought a $50 dollar Wal*Mart Visa gift card and its a useless piece of crap. The main reason I got this was so I could order Skype online and order a few other items with it. Every site I go to it says that Im un-able to use this card, or its invalid or something stupid like that. Not to mention they start reducing money from the card if theres still money on it 13 months after purchasing the card which is rather ridiculous. Ill never be going to Wal*Mart again for a Visa card. Next time, I think Ill stick with Safeways, theirs are so much better.

If you can help me with this problem IM/E-Mail me at [protected]@hotmail.com

I have tried and tried to use this useless card at various online stores (filling out countless! I mean countless ! personal info pages) to no avail! I am so angry right now ! What do I have to do to buy something online. I checked on Walmartgift.com and it says its good, but at the online check outs(everyone of them) it has been denied! I have tried to link it to my pay pal account(numerous times) and tried that at the countless checkouts and it still wont work. I specifically bought this P.O.S. card for online purchases, which I can't use online! What gives?!

Walmart was requiring this because of Bush's policies put into place a couple months after 2008... don't blame Obama

Received Walmart Visa Card as gift. You have to activate it by phoning in and giving your complete information including your social security which they verify against your name; the only way they can do that is to run a credit report on you. WTF! The Fu88ing card is already paid for in full, ...why the hell do thay care who the spender is? This is total Bulls#!t. Talk about BIG BROTHER OBAMA! This has to be stopped or there will be a bunch of sad people who's privacy is being raped.

yea what a system they have.
Mine actually started to work and the status was pending on an oerder
heres the kicker.I was off by one number on my zipcode wit the site account so it had to be canceled and sent back but guess what..walmart wants you to wait up to 12 freakin buisness days to verify the cancelled transaction so i got puffy..they then said *we will make a request to have it back on the card in 2 buisness days..BULLS*T! so i got puffy again and she said that they have to verify by phone from the merchant that the tranaction was canceled so i guess a phonecall and verification via*internet takes 2 freaking days!?!?!?!?!
with the technology we have and with a simple phone call this should have been taken care of IMMEDIATELY!
###*ng walmart for ya
they will run this earth before too long

I am currently having the same problem! I was given a $50 gift card for a baby shower gift and cannot use it (says it's invalid) I called the customer service number and they say it's either been stolen or rang up wrong at the register. The person that gave me the card doesn't have the receipt and we're screwed and I'm pissed!

I recently received a Walmart Visa gift card as a gift. Well, its such a headache. Don't lose your receipt or else you'll lose the activation number. Then during the on-line or on the telephone activation, it asks you for your birthdate and social security number; while using the "federal government " requires it to fight terrorism. Oh yeah, big headache. I won't be accepting any more of these cards ever.
