I signed a contract with Salt Lake Premier Singles on 4-2-08. On 4-3-2008, I demanded, via phone and e-mail, that my contract be cancelled immediately. I received an e-mail from premier singles on 4-3-2008 stating that they did receive my cancellation request.
I explained that I did not have that kind of money, and that I was not interested in their service. I did not create a profile, and did not bring the sales department a voided check or credit card number.
I have received a bill from Universal Account Servicing, LLC with a balace owing of 1674.30. I have been told that there is nothing I can do, there is no cancellation policy, and I will have to pay the entire balance, plus interest, etc.
I am beyond furious for not being informed or adviced or made aware of this NO cancellation policy upon signing.
I have never known of a business that does not allow, at LEAST 72 hours, to cancel a contract.
I'll do whatever it takes to make people aware of this, what I consider ILLEGAL, unethical, misrepresented, etc... Premier Singles Dating Service!
