My car was legitimately parked in the E Travis St & Navarro St lot with a ticket validation on the dashboard. Boot Inc put boots on my vehicle, stating I was parked in the wrong lot. When we pulled in to the lot at E Travis and Navarro, the sign read $3.00 parking. We pulled straight ahead in to the lot and used the automatic ticket machine 10 feet from our car, to the drivers left side, as there was no attendant in the ticket booth. We put a five dollar bill in the machine, and the message displayed was "you overpaid", yet it did not allow us to cancel the transaction, even though I pushed the button. We put the ticket validation on the dashboard. When I returned later to put some things in the car, I saw the boots on two tires and the orange sticker on the window. I called the phone number provided and waited about 15 minutes for Agent Silverio Valenzuela to arrive. I was told that I was not parked in the proper space. Mr Valenzuela pointed out a different machine, which was out of my vision, that I should have used. This machine was also further away from my vehicle by about 20 or 30 feet. There is no indication that there is a difference between the lots or the machines to use. Additionally, he could only remove the boots if I paid him, on the spot. When I asked for his bosses phone number, he refused to give it to me, stating his boss was not in the office. This was on a Wednesday afternoon around 2:30. I said “well, that is odd”. I explained that we were just visiting San Antonio. My husband, who is legally blind, asked how would we have known that there were two parking lots, as there was no signs indicating as such. He would not entertain any kind of explanation and instead, gave us a piece of paper explaining that we could request a court hearing in the next 14 days after filing a $20.00 fee. I asked if we had to be present to tell our side of the story and he said yes. I explained that we would not be in San Antonio and he said nothing. He would only ask for payment. I paid reluctantly with a credit card. When he went to remove the rear boot from the tire, he squirted catsup on my rear panel, driver's door and window of our car ! I could not believe it ! Some of it also splashed onto my top as I was standing in front of him with my back to him when he did this. When we exclaimed "What the ?. Why did you do this ? " he simply walked back to his truck, with no response. My husband happened to have the camera so he got pictures of the whole incident.

I parked in the very 1st parking spot coming into the lot on texas Ave across from the Federal BOP Building as you can see in the photos i was extremely close to the parking meter on my left so i paid w my credit card and put tge receipt in my front window visible to the publuc. I received a text that my time was running out and i opted to REUP my mins via text for another 30 mins of which i still had 15 left when i got bk to my BOOTED CAR! They said i hadn't paid, i showed them my receipt and they said that i paid the wrong kiosk the one i paid was a street meter for the city of Houston and the one i was supposed to pay was on the other side of the lot not anywhere in my view and there were no specifications as to where to pay from where i was parked.. i was told by the premier rep thst it was an obvious mistake and i could cry the matter cleared up by calling this number he wrote on the back.. i took pictures and called but "they cant take care of these kinds of things" ? I had to pay $120.25 to remove the boot and now nobody knows how to help me? I filled out a dispute forn but i couldn't upload any photos as supporting evidence.. somebody help me...

parked in Breaux Mart lot at Toledano and
Magazine St. planning on picking up a sandwich and shopping after I had left it in in the car.
When I returned to my car to leave sandwich, boot was on with note on the windshield.
Parking guy (Not an attendant) said there are signs all over that said no can leave the lot at all,
Spoke to mgr. who said that was correct.
Had to pay $40.00 to have boot removed.
Evidently one cannot step out of the lot Ever even tho planning to shop in store.
Sign is not altogether clear stating that.
At the bottom of the info sheet (Boot Guy), it states if I want to appeal I can for a $50.00 fee.
Tell me this is not a Scam and someone is not making a lot of money on well intended citizens.

This same thing happened to me in New Orleans, LA near Ochsner Medical Center. Ochsner has free parking, but the lot was full. The cost of parking was $4.00. All I had was a $ 5.00 bill, The machine doesn't give change. I went to my appointment (note- my ticket was clearly posted in the window and it was good for 12 hours). Two hours later, I got to my car and two boots were on it. They claimed that I used someone else' ticked when I had overpaid for my parking ticket being the machine didn't give change. This company needs to be investigated for fraud and the victims of that fraud need to be reimbursed. The phone number on the notice taped to my car was [protected]. Dated booted was 9-25-24 at 1:00 PM. I had to pay $90 to have the boots removed and they claimed on the ticket that parking in that lot was $15.00. So, in order to leave the premesis, I had to pay $105.00

The yellow receipt they gave me stated, "Boot Man, Inc." dba Premier Parking #119 1231 Prytania New Orleans, LA70130.
Location Lasalle/ Cleveland Boot ID 023, 08 (maybe 3) 7 Boot released by TCanster- paid cash, 9/25/14 Time paid and released: 4:02PM (note, I had a medical procedure and was supposed to be go home and elevate, rest and ice the area/

The same thing happened to me in downtown Dallas. I was attending a three day seminar. Tried to pay using the machine the first day but attendant said I had to pay him. Second day payed attendant, third day no attendant and no sign how to pay. Came out of seminar boot on car. Another lady was there and her car was booted as well. We both explained to him there was no attendant and no sign. He didn't care. He said we could appeal it in court. This was a total rip off and a scam to unsuspecting people by Boot Man, Inc dba Premier Parking Enforcement. They know that if you're visiting there is no way you'll be able to be in court disputing this claim.
